About: I have owned and looked after dogs and cats over the years. Over the past two years I have been volunteering for Guide Dogs as a puppy raiser. As a family we have also had pet sitting holidays and have looked after friends and relatives pets. I currently work part time and have enjoyed spending the last couple of years volunteering as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs. I currently have a German Shepherd who is now 19 months and is going on to do her formal training. I will miss my daily walks with her and not having a dog around to look after and so I thought that taking on this role would be perfect for me. I live in a quiet house with a good sized secure garden that is perfect for pets. As I am on my own a lot during the day, having a pet to look after, makes your day more enjoyable.

About: I love dogs. I have two dogs myself and I am looking forward to the opportunity of taking care of more dogs. My dogs enjoy the company of other dogs. Likewise, I like spending time with the dogs and I find it very rewarding. I am interested in the dog’s psychology. I always try to find ways to teach the dog new things by rewarding them. I will take care of your dog as it would be my dog. I love taking the dog out for long walks. I am quite sporty myself and walking with the dog is a way to exercise. I truly believe that it is important to find a dog sitter you can trust same to the idea of hiring a baby sitter. I am happy to meet your dog before you make the decision and see whether I match your needs. As I have a true passion for dogs I feel I would get along with your dog fine.

When caring for pets, I always follow the owner’s routines, instructions, and preferences to make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable. For dog walks, I tailor each walk to the dog’s age, energy level, and temperament, making sure they get appropriate exercise while staying safe at all times. I’m attentive to their behaviour, use secure leads, and avoid situations that may cause stress. For drop-in visits and cat care, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter trays where required, and spend quality time with them for reassurance and companionship. About: Having grown up on a farm I have always been surrounded by animals. From dogs, cats, horses, cows, rabbits and Guinea Pigs I’ve looked after them all. When leaving school this drove my ambition to become a veterinary nurse, I worked in practice from 16 years old and gained masses of knowledge and experience in caring for all animals. I qualified and worked in practice for 10 years. I also set up a small kennels while living at the farm and really enjoyed all aspects of looking after the dogs. Since moving from the family home to my own home this is something I missed greatly. In 2022 we moved to our forever home I have gained The Animal Welfare License though West Lancs Council & at up my home boarding business to once again care for dogs I love so much. I’m currently a full time mummy with two children in primary school, this gives me plenty of time to fit in dog walks, visits and send quality time with your pets I have a large secure garden and a friendly little terrier who could keep you dog company. We also have a large kitchen/dinning area (with an aga to snuggle up to) and large utility room for drying off. We can see the canal from the front window so are super close for lovely long canal walks.

About: Having had dogs all my life I have had plenty of experience. I have dog and house sat for friends and family over the years and officially been sitting on rover for a couple of years. I have had the pleasure to enjoy the company of their pets and care for their every need whilst on vacation! I have had experience with both larger and small dog breeds and have no problem sitting multiple pets at one time. I have also been house and dog sitting on other sites to grow trust with people who are in need of someone to care for their dogs whilst they’re away. Work from home 50% of time also so have that flexibility to care for your pets throughout the week with help from my partner on office days meaning your pets will never be alone longer than 4 hours at a time. Able to do house visits and walks through the week and on weekends. Parter also sits with myself so have two pairs of hands to help with walks if there is more attention required. I have cared for pets all my life and dog sat in other peoples homes also. Have the capability to walk, care, feed and bath pets and even give medication if required.

About: I have experience of looking after my parents dog, Walking, feeding, bathing, playing. I am aware of how dogs communicate and can adjust my behaviour as necessary to suit the dog. I am currently working part time setting my own days so I am able to work this around schedules for any needs that may arise. In a pet owners home, I would care for the pets by adjusting my demeanor to that of what the pet is used to. I understand that some pets take more time to get used to other people and would approach this effectively, giving the pet time to adjust.
