Dog Walking in West Lancashire

About: I've been an animal person my whole life. I studied at St Helens collage doing animal care and equestrian studies and worked for 2 years as an apprentice at Bold Horse Riding Centre. During my time I have cared for all kinds of animals, from dogs to giant cockroaches! So no pet is off limits! The past 9 years I've been a professional dog walker, doing the occasional home visits to cats, rabbits ect. However since covid lockdown, there seems to be less demand for just walks as the cost of living increases! So I've decided to provide Boarding and doggy day care too as it seems to be needed more. I aim to be the cheapest around, while providing the best service possible. Pet care is my full time occupation. I only take bookings when I have no other commitments as I don't leave dogs alone in my home. Boarding and day care dogs will be given a long walk during the day and spend the rest of their time in my own home, or in the garden supervised (in the nicer weather). Dogs who are staying in their own home get 3 visits per day - One in the morning, a walk midday and a visit in the evening before bed.

About: I love dogs. I have two dogs myself and I am looking forward to the opportunity of taking care of more dogs. My dogs enjoy the company of other dogs. Likewise, I like spending time with the dogs and I find it very rewarding. I am interested in the dog’s psychology. I always try to find ways to teach the dog new things by rewarding them. I will take care of your dog as it would be my dog. I love taking the dog out for long walks. I am quite sporty myself and walking with the dog is a way to exercise. I truly believe that it is important to find a dog sitter you can trust same to the idea of hiring a baby sitter. I am happy to meet your dog before you make the decision and see whether I match your needs. As I have a true passion for dogs I feel I would get along with your dog fine.

About: I have had dogs all my life and grew up with two Dalmatians and now have two cheeky Yorkshire Terriers. I love being around dogs always playing, exercising or sleeping with them! Louis and Lola the Yorkies are amazing family dogs and we all love them, even though could be hard work as little pups always causing trouble! I work from home so I am always around to let the dogs have regular toilet breaks or zoomies around the garden. Weekends are best for me to do daytime care, drop in visits or long walks but early mornings and evenings can work some weekdays too. I have a large fenced garden which is safe for the dogs to run round and play. I have two friendly Terriers to provide your doggo/s with lots of company whether they are big or small they will get along. There is lots of space away from the road behind the house to take them on long walks too.

About: I have grown up in a household of pet lovers and so, have cared for a number of pets in my life. Most recently I cared for my English Springer Spaniel in her old age - she was 15 and developed neurological problems which ultimately led to her being put down. I have also been a pet sitter for my grandparents two Jack Russells when they require it. I am currently in my third and final year of university and so I have some free time to pet sit or carry out other tasks. I will follow the instructions given to me to best care for your pet or pets. I will care for your pets as though they were my own.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats since I was born, really. I had my own cats (Fizz and Bella) growing up, both have sadly gone to heaven. I also have been heavily involved in caring for my grandparents dogs, one in which I basically trained from 8 weeks to a year and he’s now the best lil pup. I currently have my own golden retriever who is an absolute star and we spent lots of time on walks and training to make her a well rounded girl. I’m currently a studying a MSc in nursing (mental health) and have a lot of time on my hands this summer. Once I’m back at university I will be online meaning I am home basically always! I will be able to fit your loved pet into my schedule on any given day, including last minute changes. Having my own puppy means I spend a lot of time with her, training and out discovering new walks. I live in a semi detached house with our own fenced garden. Not only this, I live very close to a park which we will 100% take trips to. I am also able to come to your own home, if this is more comfortable for you and more than willing to meet your pet prior to any arrangements to see if it is a good fit.

“I have known Samantha for over 10 years and she often looks after my West Highland terrier and toy poodle. I never have any concerns when my 2 babies are with Samantha as she shows them nothing but care, love and consistency. Sam goes above and beyond when looking after Pip and Ronnie they both adore her so much so that when I go to pick them up they follow her around as though I am not there. They come back from Sam happy washed and clipped its almost like they have their own spa day with her. Samantha regularly sends me photos and video clips of them playing and out on walks. Sam understanding of a dog and their needs is very impressive she has treated both of my dogs for their extra medical needs. All in all Samantha is an excellent dog sitter and I wouldn’t leave Pip and Ronnie with anyone else.”

About: I offer professional care for your pet when you are at work, going on holiday or do not have enough time for your pet. I take care of dogs in the owner's house -I go for walks with dogs during which I also play with dogs. During the care of animals, I devote 100% of their attention to them. I advise the proprietors on the problems of pets. For each ward I am preparing an individual care plan discussed at the meeting with the owners (the first meeting is free). Additionally, during walks or visits, I recording video, taking photos so that the owner knows what is happening with his pet. I also have pet first aid and dbs check.

About: I have taken care of neighbours, family and friends pets all my life and loved it they were always returned wagging their tail and as happy as can be I work part time however I live with my partner that is going to chip in and help with the cuties. We go on a lot of walks and would love a dog to walk with. We both love animals however cannot afford our own yet as we just moved away from home. We are both missing our childhood pets we left behind at our parents houses. I have a fenced garden to keep your dogs safe and also no other dogs that may hinder your dog feeling comfortable in my house
