About: I have lifelong experience caring for animals, particularly cats! I had my own cat, Smudge for 22 years so I’m very familiar with feeding, litter care, recognising changes in their behaviour and noticing when they need a little extra TLC. I have looked after my neighbour’s senior cat when she has been on holiday, ensuring she is fed and has fresh water daily and also providing her with lots of attention and love. She now greets me outside my house every time she hears my car pull up, so I think I definitely have a friend for life! I also volunteer at a local cat sanctuary, which has given me experience caring for a range of cats with different temperaments and needs as the majority of them come from neglectful backgrounds. In addition, I’ve previously dog walked on a voluntary basis so I’m very comfortable handling dogs on walks and following owner’s instructions. I’m reliable, responsible and very attentive to animals’ needs. I aim to make pets feel safe whilst their owners are away. Pet care fits into my routine quite easily as I have flexible availability and have been used to planning my day around animal care for many years. I’m reliable with feeding times, check ins and I always make sure pets receive what they need during each visit. I aim to always follow owner’s instructions carefully and prioritise routine and consistency, as I know how much of an effect this can have on animals. In the owner’s home, I can handle feeding, water, litter care and companionship based on their pet’s needs. I take a calm and caring approach and always try to ensure pets are safe, relaxed and happy!

Izzy was the perfect person to care for Nina, she came beforehand to meet her. I received regular updates and photos which was reassuring and give me full confidence she was well looked after.

Absolutely Great! It's the first time i used this kind of thing and wasnt sure how it goes. Oliver was very friendly and patient and explained everything in detail. He constantly kept in touch and even got the most antisocial cat i know to befriend him! Legend! I fully recommend him and will be reaching out again

About: I love dogs. I have two dogs myself and I am looking forward to the opportunity of taking care of more dogs. My dogs enjoy the company of other dogs. Likewise, I like spending time with the dogs and I find it very rewarding. I am interested in the dog’s psychology. I always try to find ways to teach the dog new things by rewarding them. I will take care of your dog as it would be my dog. I love taking the dog out for long walks. I am quite sporty myself and walking with the dog is a way to exercise. I truly believe that it is important to find a dog sitter you can trust same to the idea of hiring a baby sitter. I am happy to meet your dog before you make the decision and see whether I match your needs. As I have a true passion for dogs I feel I would get along with your dog fine.

About: 🐶🐶 Please read my availability section as my calendar is explained there in more detail 🐶🐶 Professional, reliable, kind and experienced dog walker and home visits available in Aughton and surrounding areas. Horse and dog owner for 35+ years. Fully DBS checked and references available. Experienced with elderly dogs and dogs from a rescue background. Out-of-hours walking and home visits available. I am available for dog walking and home visits during school holidays, evenings, early mornings and weekends around my current job as a primary school teacher and deputy head. Having three dogs of my own who are at home with my partner through the day, I know all too well the difficulty of finding cover for my dogs during school holidays or in the evenings. One of my dogs enjoys kennels, one is elderly and requires a home setting and a familiar face, and my other dog is very reactive and requires home visits from someone with experience of reactive rescue dogs. Trying to find a solution for all three of my 4-legged best friends is near impossible and so I know all too well the challenge of finding the right person to trust with our dogs. I have owned horses and dogs well into their twilight years since I was a child and my priority is and always will be working my day around my animals ensuring they have the love and time they need and deserve. We do not offer home boarding however offer home visits which may/may not include walking. Feeding, companionship, toilet breaks all catered for. We may in certain circumstances accept dogs boarding in our home, please contact me to discuss availability. Only considered for well-socialised, house-trained, child-friendly dogs.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and I have been pet sitting since I was 15. I have experience with all types: seniors, puppies/kittens, special needs, and everyone in between! I love spending time with animals, and I can confidently administer medicine to both dogs and cats, and love snuggling with the ones that like it, and co-existing with those who don’t! I work limited hours throughout the week, and nothing on the weekends, so spending time with your pet(s) will be the best part of my week! I have years of experience caring for pets in their own homes, and maintaining privacy and respect for the homeowners. My only interest will be your pet(s), their food/water, and the cheeky treat!

About: Having grown up on a farm I have always been surrounded by animals. From dogs, cats, horses, cows, rabbits and Guinea Pigs I’ve looked after them all. When leaving school this drove my ambition to become a veterinary nurse, I worked in practice from 16 years old and gained masses of knowledge and experience in caring for all animals. I qualified and worked in practice for 10 years. I also set up a small kennels while living at the farm and really enjoyed all aspects of looking after the dogs. Since moving from the family home to my own home this is something I missed greatly. In 2022 we moved to our forever home I have gained The Animal Welfare License though West Lancs Council & at up my home boarding business to once again care for dogs I love so much. I’m currently a full time mummy with two children in primary school, this gives me plenty of time to fit in dog walks, visits and send quality time with your pets I have a large secure garden and a friendly little terrier who could keep you dog company. We also have a large kitchen/dinning area (with an aga to snuggle up to) and large utility room for drying off. We can see the canal from the front window so are super close for lovely long canal walks.

About: I've had dogs most of my life, we recently lost my families 13 year old patterdale but luckily I've got 2 very energetic Show Cocker Spaniels to keep me busy. Finn (Blue Roan) is 5 and Reggie (Ginger ninja) is 3. They both went to Dogs Trust puppy classes as soon as they were old enough and I've kept up with this training. Reggie has been anxious since getting him with a lot of travel sickness too. I've slowly worked on his confidence and we actually made it to Wales in November without any issues! We love going on walks to the dog park and socialising, a quiet stroll on the canal or training in the garden. I also have a nephew (Archie - border collie) who I've looked after overnight every chance I got when he was younger, he's now 9 and struggling with his mobility so I'm well versed in looking after arthritic dogs who require medication and more mental stimulation. I'm currently working flexible remote hours as a Graphic designer so I can fit around your schedule and even work from your home if your dog needs more company. Hoping to transition into full-time dog walking / sitting Happy to follow your lead in terms of what training you follow and how you structure their day but can also play and teach them some fun things if you are ok with it.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little with 3 Staffies, and most recently an energetic husky! I’m healthy so walking multiples times a day is no problem if needed. I also helped raised the puppy husky and helped care for my senior staffies, meaning I can also care for up to 2 dogs at a time. I also sheltered and cared for a cat for 2 years whilst in university, providing skills for all your animals :) I am currently in my final year of university and I am looking for more weekend routines rather than throughout the week. Pet care will allow me to get more fresh air and take a well needed break focusing on your pets, which will remind me of what my daily routine was living at home with my pets. I will ensure that pets are in rooms with shut doors if opening front door unless they are fully secured and ready for walks or if your back garden has fences or walls. I am able to give basic care regarding medicines and injuries if required. I will also follow any strict rules for your pets that you set up, as I know my husky isn’t allowed on the sofa!

About: I have experience of looking after my parents dog, Walking, feeding, bathing, playing. I am aware of how dogs communicate and can adjust my behaviour as necessary to suit the dog. I am currently working part time setting my own days so I am able to work this around schedules for any needs that may arise. In a pet owners home, I would care for the pets by adjusting my demeanor to that of what the pet is used to. I understand that some pets take more time to get used to other people and would approach this effectively, giving the pet time to adjust.

About: I have been looking after dogs since I got my own in 2012. Since then, I have trained my own and looked after other dogs of varying ages and breeds including Shih Tzu’s, Pugs and Cavapoos. I have also administered both oral and eye medications. Despite never looking after any big breeds of dog, I have spent time with them throughout my life and have a deep love for all dogs. I am a full time university student at Newcastle university with a flexible schedule around my studies. I have commitments on Tuesday and Saturday evenings but otherwise no other impacts on my time. I am able to spend a number of hours a week with your beloved pet to make sure they stay well exercised, socialised and loved and keep them entertained while you’re at work or away. I am able to stay at your home while you’re away to best replicate your four legged friends schedule and not disrupt them from their routine or environment.

This was the first time we have used a sitter and Natalie was exceptional. She kept us informed throughout with regular updates and photos and was attentive to Millie’s needs. She was very knowledgeable about cats which made us feel very comfortable leaving Millie in her capable hands. We have no hesitation in recommending her and would use her services again.

Rebecca was very resposive with messaging and getting back to me quickly. She treated my cat Molto with kindness which I very much appreciated. I do have to mention that I had asked her to refresh his water while she was here, which she missed. She also stayed for only about 11 min during the drop-in instead of the expected half hour. She was very nice all around though, but for the couple notes.
