“Joyce looked after my 7 month old cavapoo puppy for 2 weeks whilst I was away on holiday. It was the first time I had ever left him overnight with anyone and I was really nervous how he would cope, but he loved his stay with Joyce and her cocker, Lily. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was very young and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve looked after dogs for friends and neighbours, including walks, playtime and keeping them company. I also have my own dog, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. I’m currently a university student, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home studying. I have a secure, fenced garden and a large open field just across from my house, making walks and toilet breaks easy throughout the day. I also have a very friendly Dachshund called Ollie, and my cat, Bacon. They get along brilliantly and are best friends, so they’re both used to sharing their home with other animals. If needed, I have a pet gate to keep pets separated, giving everyone their own space to settle in and feel comfortable. And it’s very much appreciated having updates whilst away to know how they’re o and loved having pics of them. Sorry for the kitchen being slightly messy was rushing around that day.”
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was young, from talking care of my uncles over 6" Great Dane when he's on holidays to taking care of my own Yorkie who's got an attitude of a grumpy teenager. Ive walked, bathed, trained all different breeds of dogs and have a lot of patience to work with every dog with every personality! I'm a university student who is in Tuesday to Thursday afternoons. I have a long weekend that's open for walks and drop ins, I'm an early riser! I care for a 8 year old and 2 year old Yorkshire terrier at home along with a falcon. my older dog is reactive and requires more quieter walks so I know how to make sure reactive dogs are still enjoying their walks.

About: I’ve been a cat lover since I can remember. I had my special cat, Smudge from when I was 3 years old and she sadly passed at 22 years old. I volunteer at a local cat shelter and also have experience looking after my neighbour’s cat who has become my little bestie and loves spending time with me! We have a ring camera inside our living room for if we ever did leave your dog alone (if this was agreed) which we’d be more than happy to share with yourselves for peace of mind - again we had this from when we had our elderly girl so we could always get back if she needed us We both adore dogs, they will get the most amount of love, all the dogs we look after I send daily updates to their owners, with pictures, what they’ve done that day and any other information if I feel they need to know (upset stomachs, etc) We know what it’s like to have to leave your dog and the worry, so we try to just give the best peace of mind, we’ll have a phone call before the dog sit so we can run through all of the needs of your dog and we also have a slight “template” of a doc (one we used for lacey) which we can send you to fill out with all the information!

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life ! Both big and little along with some having additional health needs ie insulin dependent diabetes! I work full time for NHS but due to work and we have recently rehomed a 9month old Cavapoo called Hector who is very energetic but great temperament. I love the outdoors and walking but having a 4 legged friend with me makes it even better. I am happy with lead or non lead walks depending on your preference. I currently hybrid work and often will work from home during the week at times. I don’t work Friday / Saturday / Sunday . If you have a mid week request let me know as I can be flexible at times with work. My partner also works from home each day so if I am out there will be someone else around I am adaptable and will care for dogs however owner would prefer. I am happy with dogs on the furniture but if you would prefer them not too please let me know

About: I have taken care of my own family pets since I was a child, having first a Cavalier who suffered from a lot of health conditions in his senior days that I assisted with providing aid for, and now a Cross breed who I have raised since he was a puppy. I have also taken an Animal Management course in college providing me with lots of experience and knowledge on how to provide good care for pets of any kind, and I work full time as an apprentice groom for horses on a full livery yard where I comply with owner requests and needs and provide a top level or care for horses, foals, cats and dogs. I am currently a student at Keele University and so have availability on most days outside of my lectures. I am completely free on weekends, and on week days I am free most of the day except from 2/4 hour slots in which I attend lectures and use for studying. Caring for animals is something that comes naturally to me, and while caring for your pet there is no exclusions or short comings to the level of care I will provide. I treat all animals as if they were my own. I can cater to both active dogs looking for a stimulating day both mentally and physically, and dogs who prefer a quieter life, with shorter walks and more time for cuddles and pampering at home. Whatever needs your pet may have, I can accommodate. Having also grown up around cats, I can offer care and comfort for your feline friends as well, as I have looked after cats of all ages and requirements, having cared for my own senior cat until recently when she passed at the amazing age of 19!

Due to the passing of my beloved Hugo (seen in pics) last year, I have missed the bond of having a pet and getting out in nature as much. I have looked after family dogs many times over the last decade, from springer spaniels, staffys and jack russels. I have loved each dog as if it were my own. I give them the care and affection they deserve and will give yours just as much (if not more!) Carr mill dam is literally at the end of my road, so your dog will have the luxury of the various walks available in the area. I also drive so can take well behaved dogs to other nearby places where your pet can explore its surroundings. I’m looking for well behaved dogs who are good around children as my young son is likely to join us on our walks. I am a teaching assistant by day so I can occasionally provide drop-in checks after school hours, but mainly available for long weekends and school holidays. Perfect for families who are looking for breaks away but not wanting massive expenses for kennel boarding. I have a large astro turfed garden with high fences. Dogs are allowed to roam freely around my home and garden. My home is essentially theirs and wish for them to feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
About: I've had dogs most of my life, we recently lost my families 13 year old patterdale but luckily I've got 2 very energetic Show Cocker Spaniels to keep me busy. Finn (Blue Roan) is 5 and Reggie (Ginger ninja) is 3. They both went to Dogs Trust puppy classes as soon as they were old enough and I've kept up with this training. Reggie has been anxious since getting him with a lot of travel sickness too. I've slowly worked on his confidence and we actually made it to Wales in November without any issues! I also have a nephew (Archie - border collie) who I've looked after overnight every chance I got when he was younger, he's now 9 and struggling with his mobility so I'm well versed in looking after arthritic dogs who require medication and more mental stimulation. Fresh water will be provided daily and refreshed as required. Food will be provided as discussed and agreed with by you. Any medication will be given as discussed and agreed with by you. For animals that require bedding (rats, mice etc) their bedding will be cleaned and changed daily, your pets can be caged over night if you wish them to be. I will also ensure that your household is well cleaned and maintained during your time away. All of this ensures that your fury loved ones get the best possible care they can and you can enjoy your holiday completely stress free
About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals.
