Buster had another amazing stay with Becky and Ed. He knew where he was on arrival and got involved in all the fun with their dogs straight away. He was so disappointed to leave and come home! Thank you so much Becky, Ed and all of your family for looking after Buster so well and for sending photos and updates. We really appreciate it. He's looking forward to his next stay already!

About: I have looked after dogs for friends and family and I would love to have my own, but work commitments unfortunately mean I dont have enough time at home midweek to care for them as I would want to. I have a large garden for them to run around and have fun in. I enjoy being active and getting out on walks, whether local or off to places like the beach. So you can rest assured your dog would get my time and attention, and their favourite walks. I'm available for boarding Friday nights through to Sunday and every other Sunday night. On rare occasions I may be available overnight through the week. I can fit in evening walks most nights of the week When not out on walks I have a large back garden which is fenced for your dog to enjoy. The large utility area which has direct access to the back garden has independently controlled underfloor heating creating a comfortable relaxing area for your dog.

About: I’ve taken care of different breads of dogs from a young age, growing up with both a high energy Labrador retriever and calmer Cookerpoo. Currently living with my partner and our energetic sprocker spaniel, Pepper. We walk pepper atleast twice a day, often in local woodlands and parks as well as playing fetch in our fenced garden. Available for dog walks, drop ins and overnight stays. I currently work flexibly from home 3 days per week and often finish before 4pm. On weekdays I can offer walks or drop ins to suit you and your dogs needs. I do not work weekends so can offer overnight stays Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as well as walks and drop ins on these days. I will be available to feed, walk and play with your dog anytime during their stay. Any days when I am not at home I will not include in my schedule. I have a securely fenced garden for your dogs to play in and a dog of my own for yours to play with. Our dog is also crate trained so if your dog needs some time to themselves this can be accommodated for.

Joyce looked after my 7 month old cavapoo puppy for 2 weeks whilst I was away on holiday. It was the first time I had ever left him overnight with anyone and I was really nervous how he would cope, but he loved his stay with Joyce and her cocker, Lily. He got regular walks and cuddles and I got lots of updates and videos so I could enjoy my holiday knowing he was in good hands and having a good time. I will definitely use Joyce again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.

About: I’ve grown up in a family of dog lovers, caring for furry friends of varied breeds and sizes from a young age. My current little one, Millie, started house-training at 10 weeks old and is now a happy, well-adjusted 8 year old, who loves her daily walks and playtime. I also have plenty of experience with senior dogs, from my dearly missed 15 year old staffy to my current 10 year old chihuahua, Shyla. Caring for dogs has always been a second nature to me & is something I truly love and take pride in. I work fully-remote from home during the week therefore I am always available to tend to pets throughout the day. I am fully available all day for the majority of weekends. I have a medium sized, fenced back garden with enough space for pets to roam and play. I currently have 2 small sociable dogs of my own, I have no concerns with bringing another dog into the home as long as there is an opportunity for them to be introduced and get familiar with each other.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a child, and have cared for various animals throughout my life. Although I am new to Rover, I have always been the go-to person to care for family and friends pets, and always treat them as my own. I have experience looking after different dog breeds of varying ages with different energy levels, temperaments and particular needs. If I have the opportunity to spend time with dogs I will take it, even on my travels I will visit a dog rescue or care for the stray dogs. I have a Labrador named Daisy who is 13 years old and treat her like my child, so rest assured I know the importance of caring for your pup! I am currently working part-time meaning I have a flexible schedule. I am available Monday mornings and afternoons, Tuesday early mornings and afternoons, Wednesday and Thursday before 9am and after 3pm. Weekends are more flexible as I am off two days and alternate a 4 hour shift on a Friday/Saturday so have plenty of time. I have gates at the front and side of my house and a fenced garden, and live near a park, field, and at the top of a country road so plenty of places for walks! I have a 13 year old Labrador who is very gentle and friendly.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for Willow. I don’t leave her very often, so I was naturally quite anxious, but James put me completely at ease from the start. Willow seemed to feel at home as soon as she walked through the door. James treated her as if she were his own, giving her plenty of love, attention, cuddles and treats throughout her stay. I received lots of photo updates, which was so reassuring, and it was clear from the pictures that she was having the best time. When I collected her, she was so comfortable and settled that she happily carried on playing while I chatted with James about her stay, which says it all really! I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Willow with James again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, reliable and genuine dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her! 🐾❤️

About: Hi! I'm a genuine dog lover with hands-on experience caring for both my own dog and my family dog. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I always take the time to make them feel comfortable and loved while you're away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive plenty of affection. I have a large, quiet field directly behind my home, which is perfect for safe walks and letting energetic dogs enjoy plenty of space (where appropriate and with your permission). I know how important it is for owners to feel confident that their pet is in good hands. I'll happily follow your dog's usual routine, including feeding schedules and any special instructions to help them feel at home. If your dog is used to sleeping in someone's bedroom or needs extra reassurance at night, I'm more than happy to accommodate this so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. For house sitting, I'll treat your home with the same care and respect as my own while ensuring your pet receives lots of love throughout my stay. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet, so I'll provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you're away. Although I'm new to Rover, I've spent years caring for dogs through my own pet and my family dog. This has given me practical experience with training, walks, playtime, grooming, and recognising when a dog needs extra attention or reassurance. I work from home Monday-Friday so I can keep your dog company all day and also take care of their needs and walk them before/after work or on a lunch time. I am available most weekends so get in touch to find out my availability. I have a fenced garden and have my own very friendly dog who loves company. He loves to chill out but also likes to run around with other dogs. I am happy to crate your dog or let them sleep wherever is most comfortable for them.

Our 5 cats loved having visits of Beth. They were well cared for and had plenty of playtime or said to hi to her. 2 of them are always wary of strangers but do eventually come out of their shell. And it’s very much appreciated having updates whilst away to know how they’re o and loved having pics of them. Sorry for the kitchen being slightly messy was rushing around that day.

Natasha has been AMAZING while we were gone. She looked after our three cats, very nervous and anxious cats while we were away and I have zero complaints at all. She kept me updated the whole time with photos and messages, how they were settling, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was there with them. She went above and beyond, stayed longer some days to make sure my cats were fed and happy before she left which she definitely did not have to do at all but is a credit to her character. Will definitely come back again if we plan another trip away at some point! Thanks so much!!

Rebecca was very resposive with messaging and getting back to me quickly. She treated my cat Molto with kindness which I very much appreciated. I do have to mention that I had asked her to refresh his water while she was here, which she missed. She also stayed for only about 11 min during the drop-in instead of the expected half hour. She was very nice all around though, but for the couple notes.

I work full-time, usually a 7 hour shift ending around 3pm which gives a lot of time to spend keeping any pet company. I will primary take on jobs on my days off so they can get the best care possible. I believe pets are members of the family (often more loving!) and deserve just as much as humans. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little with 3 Staffies, and most recently an energetic husky! I’m healthy so walking multiples times a day is no problem if needed. I also helped raised the puppy husky and helped care for my senior staffies, meaning I can also care for up to 2 dogs at a time. I also sheltered and cared for a cat for 2 years whilst in university, providing skills for all your animals :) I am currently in my final year of university and I am looking for more weekend routines rather than throughout the week. Pet care will allow me to get more fresh air and take a well needed break focusing on your pets, which will remind me of what my daily routine was living at home with my pets. I will ensure that pets are in rooms with shut doors if opening front door unless they are fully secured and ready for walks or if your back garden has fences or walls. I am able to give basic care regarding medicines and injuries if required. I will also follow any strict rules for your pets that you set up, as I know my husky isn’t allowed on the sofa!

About: Having grown up on a farm I have always been surrounded by animals. From dogs, cats, horses, cows, rabbits and Guinea Pigs I’ve looked after them all. When leaving school this drove my ambition to become a veterinary nurse, I worked in practice from 16 years old and gained masses of knowledge and experience in caring for all animals. I qualified and worked in practice for 10 years. I also set up a small kennels while living at the farm and really enjoyed all aspects of looking after the dogs. Since moving from the family home to my own home this is something I missed greatly. In 2022 we moved to our forever home I have gained The Animal Welfare License though West Lancs Council & at up my home boarding business to once again care for dogs I love so much. I’m currently a full time mummy with two children in primary school, this gives me plenty of time to fit in dog walks, visits and send quality time with your pets I have a large secure garden and a friendly little terrier who could keep you dog company. We also have a large kitchen/dinning area (with an aga to snuggle up to) and large utility room for drying off. We can see the canal from the front window so are super close for lovely long canal walks.

About: Having had dogs all my life I have had plenty of experience. I have dog and house sat for friends and family over the years and officially been sitting on rover for a couple of years. I have had the pleasure to enjoy the company of their pets and care for their every need whilst on vacation! I have had experience with both larger and small dog breeds and have no problem sitting multiple pets at one time. I have also been house and dog sitting on other sites to grow trust with people who are in need of someone to care for their dogs whilst they’re away. Work from home 50% of time also so have that flexibility to care for your pets throughout the week with help from my partner on office days meaning your pets will never be alone longer than 4 hours at a time. Able to do house visits and walks through the week and on weekends. Parter also sits with myself so have two pairs of hands to help with walks if there is more attention required. I have had various pets, I currently have a small Chorkie dog a cat and 2 rabbits (my dog is not neutered therefore I can only offer care at your pets home at present). Times will be mutually arranged between us both. Pets routines are important and I like to ensure I stick to them as much as possible. Cared for in their own homes. Lola absolutely loves coming to doggie day care! She gets so excited to go every time and never wants to leave, sometimes even to the point she has to be carried out the house because she refuses to move! She’s so well looked after there and is always completely knackered when she comes home. Highly recommend

About: Hi I am Nicola I have had dogs all my life from the age of 6 the best day ever when we returned from school to a puppy! I have cared for a variety of Breeds throughout my life allowing me to be confident with any breed of dog, I use to work with retired greyhounds which including feeding, walking, grooming and bathing them. Being around animals makes me happy. I left school and went to an agriculture college where I gained a degree In Equine science. I have always had dogs they make life a happier place and I always thought about starting my own dog walking / sitting business, unfortunately my dog of 17 years passed away 3 weeks ago and not having a dog in the house doesn’t feel right and that’s why am here, I want to turn my thought into a reality! I have 3 children who are all dog mad, they will never be left alone with your fur babies but I know they will love having a dog back in the house and walking them if they are with me. I am self employed at home so I can give your dog all the attention they need and they will be made to feel like my home is there home. I love walking and being outside in all weathers and having a dog to do that with is the best. I live within walking distance of the most beautiful walks! I have a large garden which is 1000% safe and plenty of room in the house for your dog to choose where they want to make themselves comfy. I am available for daily walks, pop ins, and home boarding. Your dog will be treated like our own given all the attention and taken on adventures with us. I have recently moved to Ormskirk and have been running my own dog boarding and walking business previously, but I am back on rover and can’t wait to offer my services to the area xx I currently work from Home so I am always here and have plenty of time for walks and cuddles throughout the day. Dog walking and dog sitting is perfectly suited to myself. I have a well fenced Garden to the rear of my house, which is large and a perfect sunbathing garden which our dog use to love to do! I will follow your instructions on all aspects of your dog daily Routine, feeding times and walking times, so that they feel like they are at home.

About: Hi! We’re Tee and Bradley, a dog-loving couple based in the North West. We recently lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel after 16 wonderful years, and while we’re not ready for another dog of our own just yet, we’ve been caring for other people’s pups through Borrow My Doggy so have plenty of experience with looking after others dogs - not just our own! Due to the fact we’ve looked after our own older dog, we are used to medication routines, more gentle days however we’ve also got experience looking after puppies as young as six months so can help continue any training and keeping them occupied so they don’t chew all the furniture!! We have done days, weekends and even 10 day stays with these dogs and we truly care for them like they are our own - loved by our entire family and friends! We both work flexibly and spend a lot of time at home, so your dog will always get plenty of attention, cuddles, and company. We’re comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior sweethearts, and treat every dog as if they’re our own. Whether you need day care, overnight stays, or just someone who truly gets how special your dog is, we’d love to help. 🐕💛 Both myself and my partner work from home, therefore one of us is always in - usually both of us! As we’ve had Lacey the entire time we’ve lived in our house, and I’d had her since I was 10, our lives are more than adapted to having a dog, we can fit numerous walks in, plenty of cuddle time and your dog has full roam of the place! We do go out - of course - but almost everywhere we go is dog friendly (including our gym!) so your pup will be with us! We can adapt around your pups schedule as we are fairly laid back, plus we have plenty of parents and grandparents who we go visiting with your pooch giving them even more love We have a lovely two bed terraced house which has a small enclosure garden space, however we are surrounded by farmers fields, forests and a canal! We also have a huge field right across the road so in between meetings I try to take the dogs for a runaround on there and then we’ll do a bigger walk around one of the many options we have! Depending on what your dog prefers we’ll decide where to take them - all of our walks are primarily off road. We have a ring camera inside our living room for if we ever did leave your dog alone (if this was agreed) which we’d be more than happy to share with yourselves for peace of mind - again we had this from when we had our elderly girl so we could always get back if she needed us We both adore dogs, they will get the most amount of love, all the dogs we look after I send daily updates to their owners, with pictures, what they’ve done that day and any other information if I feel they need to know (upset stomachs, etc) We know what it’s like to have to leave your dog and the worry, so we try to just give the best peace of mind, we’ll have a phone call before the dog sit so we can run through all of the needs of your dog and we also have a slight “template” of a doc (one we used for lacey) which we can send you to fill out with all the information!

Dennis stayed with Daniela for 2 days! We were very nervous leaving him for the first time with worries of him being an energetic boisterous mischievous puppy. I can not recommend Daniela enough. She was incredibly amazing with him. She made him feel part of the family instantly. Her passion and love for animals really shines through. Daniela looked after Dennis incredibly well as it shown in the regular pictures and updates she gave us. Dennis had lots of cuddles, lots of fun and most important I feel he felt loved which was important to us. She made Dennis feel settled and right at home. Her ability to adhere to his care needs as a puppy was tremendous. Dennis can be crazy but she embraced this with laughter and calmness and patience. We feel very lucky to have found her. We could not recommend Daniela enough she and her family are wonderful people ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During the stay Indy went on a lovely walk in the local area and Sophie even sent a couple of videos. Hightly recommended - we've already booked Indy for an overnight stay in a few weeks.

About: We absolutely love dogs and love their company. We recently lost our 13 year old cocker spaniel Lottie and are a little lost without her running round our feet. We often look after our families doggies and take them out over the fields in Lydiate for a good run. I am a Florist and work from home so I will have plenty of time to shower dogs with all the attention they deserve. We have a lot of experience with small and medium dogs, we are patient and kind and love spending time on the couch with the pups. I work for myself at home and I’m never out for more than a couple of hours at most. I love going out on walks in any weather. I am lucky enough to have a large garden that is fenced in and spend most of the day with the doors open so dogs can have a wander a frequently as they need.

About: I've had dogs most of my life, we recently lost my families 13 year old patterdale but luckily I've got 2 very energetic Show Cocker Spaniels to keep me busy. Finn (Blue Roan) is 5 and Reggie (Ginger ninja) is 3. They both went to Dogs Trust puppy classes as soon as they were old enough and I've kept up with this training. Reggie has been anxious since getting him with a lot of travel sickness too. I've slowly worked on his confidence and we actually made it to Wales in November without any issues! We love going on walks to the dog park and socialising, a quiet stroll on the canal or training in the garden. I also have a nephew (Archie - border collie) who I've looked after overnight every chance I got when he was younger, he's now 9 and struggling with his mobility so I'm well versed in looking after arthritic dogs who require medication and more mental stimulation. I'm currently working flexible remote hours as a Graphic designer so I can fit around your schedule and even work from your home if your dog needs more company. Hoping to transition into full-time dog walking / sitting Happy to follow your lead in terms of what training you follow and how you structure their day but can also play and teach them some fun things if you are ok with it.

About: I love dogs. I have two dogs myself and I am looking forward to the opportunity of taking care of more dogs. My dogs enjoy the company of other dogs. Likewise, I like spending time with the dogs and I find it very rewarding. I am interested in the dog’s psychology. I always try to find ways to teach the dog new things by rewarding them. I will take care of your dog as it would be my dog. I love taking the dog out for long walks. I am quite sporty myself and walking with the dog is a way to exercise. I truly believe that it is important to find a dog sitter you can trust same to the idea of hiring a baby sitter. I am happy to meet your dog before you make the decision and see whether I match your needs. As I have a true passion for dogs I feel I would get along with your dog fine.

About: I have experience of looking after my parents dog, Walking, feeding, bathing, playing. I am aware of how dogs communicate and can adjust my behaviour as necessary to suit the dog. I am currently working part time setting my own days so I am able to work this around schedules for any needs that may arise. In a pet owners home, I would care for the pets by adjusting my demeanor to that of what the pet is used to. I understand that some pets take more time to get used to other people and would approach this effectively, giving the pet time to adjust.

Becca was a great host and perfect fit for our staffy. She kept us updated on how our dog was doing and included photos of how she'd settled. Becca's communication was timely meaning we had nothing to worry about. We have already booked for Becca to look after our dog again and will continue to do so. I think our little staffy was genuinely sad to leave Becca. Thanks

Bear was immediately welcomed to her home and seemed to very much enjoy all the attention he was getting. I received regular pictures from Georgina so I could see how Bear was getting on which I liked. Bear was very much one of the pack for the night and couldn't have wished for him to be cared for any better m! Thank you!!!!!!!!

This was my first time using a pet sitter for my dog and Emma & Rob were incredible. They looked after my dog for the weekend whilst I was away and provided remarkable care. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will certainly not think twice about rebooking. Emma provided photo & video updates throughout and I can't thank them enough for their help. Incredible people who I cannot praise highly enough. Thank you!
