“Huge thanks to Ashleigh and her family for looking after our dog, Pepper, so well. It was such a relief to know that she had settled into their home and was being well looked after. Very much appreciated. Nicola.”

“I couldn’t recommend Olaniyi enough. This was my first time leaving Bailey with him and, naturally, I was a little worried about how he would settle, but Olaniyi was absolutely brilliant with him. He kept me updated throughout our holiday with messages and photos, which really gave me peace of mind. Bailey was initially a little nervous and even fussy with his food, but Olaniyi was so patient with him, took the time to understand him and even found a food he enjoyed. By the end of his stay, Bailey was completely settled, happy and following him everywhere! 😂❤️ It was obvious when we collected Bailey that he had been genuinely cared for and treated like part of the family. I would happily leave Bailey with Olaniyi again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone kind, patient and trustworthy to care for their dog. Thank you again! 🐶❤️”

About: Ive always had animals in my family growing up and due to work committments the timing isnt quite right for us to have a dog full time due to work but id love for your pet to come and stay with our family. We have 2 house cats that are used to friends dogs coming and going. My older children love animals but know to respect boundaries. Ive looked after friends pets while they go away for a week and weekends and have really enjoyed that experience so Im hoping to do that more often. During the week I currently work part time and as a hybrid worker and this works well alongside my partners shift work meaning animals would never be left for long and this could possibly be arranged. We are early risers and enjoy a morning walk every day. During the weekends our availaibility is a lot better and your pet will usually come with us on days out and walks. We have a strong sense of responsibility in the care entrusted to us with a member of your family. We hope to offer a home from with a good routine of 2-3 walks a day. Feeding routine will be kept as youve instructed but we typically feed our cats twice a day with biscuits down as needed, maybe with a treat or two. Every animal is individual and we feel confident at being flexible enough that we can meet what works for your pet whilst incorporating them into our daily life. Any questions please ask.
“Indy had a great time with Sophie. It was the first time she'd stayed overnight but settled in really well. Sophie sent us some pics and video from their lovely walks and kept us up to date. Would highly recommend.”

“Our 5 cats loved having visits of Beth. They were well cared for and had plenty of playtime or said to hi to her. 2 of them are always wary of strangers but do eventually come out of their shell. “Was great with out cat, she doesn't usually like new people but Natalie got her to relax with her after just 1 day. Natalie was very professional, sending photos and videos each day and keeping the litter tray clean and tidy.”

“Our cat warmed to her immediately and we got photos and videos of the intense cuddles he was giving Leah every day. She was so kind and professional and we would absolutely use her again. Thanks Leah!”

“Lola absolutely loves coming to doggie day care! She gets so excited to go every time and never wants to leave, sometimes even to the point she has to be carried out the house because she refuses to move! She’s so well looked after there and is always completely knackered when she comes home. Highly recommend”

About: I’m a huge dog lover and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities. I have dogs of my own, so I completely understand how important it is to know that your pet is safe, happy and genuinely cared for while you’re away or at work. I’m confident with puppies and energetic dogs, including toilet training, basic training, feeding routines, walks and plenty of play and enrichment. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and any specific instructions you have. I’ll treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, with lots of attention, patience and affection. I’m also more than happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your dog is having a lovely time. 🐶❤️ I work shifts, which gives me plenty of flexibility and days off throughout the week to dedicate to pet care. Dogs are a big part of our lifestyle — we have a static caravan in the Lake District as well as a motorhome, and our dogs regularly come away with us. When I’m caring for a dog over several nights, and with the owner’s permission, I’d be more than happy for them to join us on our little adventures too! 🐾 Whether we’re at home or away, I’ll always follow your dog’s normal routine and make sure they get plenty of walks, attention, playtime and cuddles. ❤️ Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my priority. “Indy had a great time with Sophie. We booked her in for a daycare session to get to know Sophie and her home environment. Hightly recommended - we've already booked Indy for an overnight stay in a few weeks.”

About: Hi! I'm a genuine dog lover with hands-on experience caring for both my own dog and my family dog. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I always take the time to make them feel comfortable and loved while you're away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive plenty of affection. I have a large, quiet field directly behind my home, which is perfect for safe walks and letting energetic dogs enjoy plenty of space (where appropriate and with your permission). I know how important it is for owners to feel confident that their pet is in good hands. I'll happily follow your dog's usual routine, including feeding schedules and any special instructions to help them feel at home. If your dog is used to sleeping in someone's bedroom or needs extra reassurance at night, I'm more than happy to accommodate this so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet, so I'll provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you're away. Although I'm new to Rover, I've spent years caring for dogs through my own pet and my family dog. This has given me practical experience with training, walks, playtime, grooming, and recognising when a dog needs extra attention or reassurance. I work from home Monday-Friday so I can keep your dog company all day and also take care of their needs and walk them before/after work or on a lunch time. I am available most weekends so get in touch to find out my availability. I have a fenced garden and have my own very friendly dog who loves company. He loves to chill out but also likes to run around with other dogs. I am happy to crate your dog or let them sleep wherever is most comfortable for them.
“Absolutely brilliant, we had an introductory meeting with Ros, her dog and the other visiting fog that would be there the day Missy would stay for a couple hours. Answered any questions we had, and let Missy take her time with them. Dropping her off was so quick, she ran in! She took a bit to settle, but Ros had some alone time with her so she could settle. Ros kept us updated on how she was and sent us photos. Missy was so excited when we went to pick her up, we're just so happy that she had a good time and felt safe enough to have cuddles. Thank you so so much, S, K & Missy 🖤”

About: Hi! We’re Tee and Bradley, a dog-loving couple based in the North West. We recently lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel after 16 wonderful years, and while we’re not ready for another dog of our own just yet, we’ve been caring for other people’s pups through Borrow My Doggy so have plenty of experience with looking after others dogs - not just our own! Due to the fact we’ve looked after our own older dog, we are used to medication routines, more gentle days however we’ve also got experience looking after puppies as young as six months so can help continue any training and keeping them occupied so they don’t chew all the furniture!! We have done days, weekends and even 10 day stays with these dogs and we truly care for them like they are our own - loved by our entire family and friends! We both work flexibly and spend a lot of time at home, so your dog will always get plenty of attention, cuddles, and company. We’re comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior sweethearts, and treat every dog as if they’re our own. Whether you need day care, overnight stays, or just someone who truly gets how special your dog is, we’d love to help. 🐕💛 Both myself and my partner work from home, therefore one of us is always in - usually both of us! As we’ve had Lacey the entire time we’ve lived in our house, and I’d had her since I was 10, our lives are more than adapted to having a dog, we can fit numerous walks in, plenty of cuddle time and your dog has full roam of the place! We do go out - of course - but almost everywhere we go is dog friendly (including our gym!) so your pup will be with us! We can adapt around your pups schedule as we are fairly laid back, plus we have plenty of parents and grandparents who we go visiting with your pooch giving them even more love We have a lovely two bed terraced house which has a small enclosure garden space, however we are surrounded by farmers fields, forests and a canal! We also have a huge field right across the road so in between meetings I try to take the dogs for a runaround on there and then we’ll do a bigger walk around one of the many options we have! Depending on what your dog prefers we’ll decide where to take them - all of our walks are primarily off road. We have a ring camera inside our living room for if we ever did leave your dog alone (if this was agreed) which we’d be more than happy to share with yourselves for peace of mind - again we had this from when we had our elderly girl so we could always get back if she needed us We both adore dogs, they will get the most amount of love, all the dogs we look after I send daily updates to their owners, with pictures, what they’ve done that day and any other information if I feel they need to know (upset stomachs, etc) We know what it’s like to have to leave your dog and the worry, so we try to just give the best peace of mind, we’ll have a phone call before the dog sit so we can run through all of the needs of your dog and we also have a slight “template” of a doc (one we used for lacey) which we can send you to fill out with all the information!
“Daisy seemed very happy for her day at Joyce's, they had a lovely walk in the woods (nice n cool) we will definitely be back, it's a lovely home and Lilly is so playful and friendly 😊”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was very young and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve looked after dogs for friends and neighbours, including walks, playtime and keeping them company. I also have my own dog, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. I’m currently learning more about dog training and behaviour because I want to keep improving and give every dog the best care possible. I’ll always treat your pet like one of my own. I’m currently a university student, so I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home studying. This means I can give pets plenty of attention, regular toilet breaks, walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day. Their comfort and routine would always be my priority, and I can easily adapt to their individual needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first. I have a secure, fenced garden and a large open field just across from my house, making walks and toilet breaks easy throughout the day. I also have a very friendly Dachshund called Ollie, and my cat, Bacon. They get along brilliantly and are best friends, so they’re both used to sharing their home with other animals. If needed, I have a pet gate to keep pets separated, giving everyone their own space to settle in and feel comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine and make sure they feel safe, happy and at home.

“We booked Maria extremely last minute and she was fantastic, accommodating to our sporadic timing and friendly to message, with quick responses. Bailey spent the day there and Maria kept us updated of her activities and was quick to respond when we checked in. The videos of Bailey playing were great! Can tell she had a great time.”

“Really really happy with our overall experience with James. Good communication, beautiful big home, as soon as I got there both myself & my American bully x staff, Lync, felt at ease. James is a lovely character, very trusting and friendly. Would recommend anyone to go with James for their own furry friends! 🐶🐱🐹🐰 Thanks again James for having Lync! He had the best time & I had a nice tired pup when we got home😂😇 Much appreciated, will definitely use again! Brilliant experience🤙🏽”

About: I've had dogs most of my life, we recently lost my families 13 year old patterdale but luckily I've got 2 very energetic Show Cocker Spaniels to keep me busy. Finn (Blue Roan) is 5 and Reggie (Ginger ninja) is 3. They both went to Dogs Trust puppy classes as soon as they were old enough and I've kept up with this training. Reggie has been anxious since getting him with a lot of travel sickness too. I've slowly worked on his confidence and we actually made it to Wales in November without any issues! We love going on walks to the dog park and socialising, a quiet stroll on the canal or training in the garden. I also have a nephew (Archie - border collie) who I've looked after overnight every chance I got when he was younger, he's now 9 and struggling with his mobility so I'm well versed in looking after arthritic dogs who require medication and more mental stimulation. I'm currently working flexible remote hours as a Graphic designer so I can fit around your schedule and even work from your home if your dog needs more company. Hoping to transition into full-time dog walking / sitting Happy to follow your lead in terms of what training you follow and how you structure their day but can also play and teach them some fun things if you are ok with it.

“Alfie had a lovely time with Karen. He was very happy when I picked him up and he’s settled straight back into his routine at home. I was able to enjoy my holiday knowing he was being looked after well in a lovely home. Thank you x”

“Maria was a fantastic pet sitter for our 6 month old German shepherd puppy. It was a big thing to leave our puppy for a week but he was well looked after and we received updates so we could relax. Huge thank you Maria!”

“Antony was responsive, reliable and easy to communicate with throughout. He was very accommodating to our schedule and my girls needs, which made the whole (first ever) experience of leaving my girl, stress free. I felt confident my dog was in great hands and would happily, and highly, recommend him. Our girl is rarely excluded from family adventures; this occasion was an unforseen need, however, should the need ever present itself again, I would not hesitate to reach out to Anthony in confidence my girl would be in very safe hands.”

“I used Adam’s services for 10 days while I went road tripping around Europe and received a few pics and lots of updates while I was away. I will use his services again and Bruno the dog is very happy too”
