About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and currently have 3 dogs of my own whom have very different personalities and energy levels. I hold a level 1 degree in animal management and I’ve directly worked on a farm with many different breeds and temperaments (including working dogs and guard dogs). This gave me experience in clear handling, reading body language early and making sure every dog feels understood and safe. All pets in my care get treated like my own consistency, kindness and respect. I can follow routines whatever they may be, and I’m extremely reliable and communicative. I’m comfortable with every breed and personality! I keep updates consistent so you always know how your pet is and what they are doing so your never wondering what’s happening. Looking after other people’s pets fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I already have structured daily routines so adding walks, drop-ins or care for your pets is easy for me to integrate without rushing or cutting corners. I stay consistent, organised and present so your pet gets calm, relaxed care every single time. My dogs get walked twice a day and have plenty of active playtime in the garden in between. I also use enrichment + puzzle games daily to give them mental stimulation, problem solving and calm focus so it’s not just physical exercise it’s balanced brain work to. When they aren’t in play or training they nap and decompress.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was around 12 years old and have many years experience in dog sitting for friends and family alongside my partner. Since we don't have a dog of our own but love spending time with furry friends, we thought we could offer a safe, loving and reliable service of dog walking, home visits or pet sitting on the weekends. I'm currently working full time on weekdays, however my weekends are fully available for walks and pet sitting. About: My name is Santo and I have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for, handling and working with large breed dogs. I have eight rescue dogs of my own and have also been fortunate enough to have ex-police dogs in my care. Over the years, I’ve helped rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs, including nervous, reactive and more challenging dogs. This is not just a job to me. Dogs are my passion, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a dog enjoying itself, gaining confidence and getting the stimulation it needs. I genuinely believe dogs deserve to experience life, not just be taken around the same block every day. Every walk is tailored around your dog and what you, as the owner, are comfortable with. That might be a steady walk around your local area, a longer countryside walk, time at a secure private dog field or, for dogs booked into my care for longer periods, trips to the beach and other new places. Nothing is done without the owner’s permission, and I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine and needs. I offer both short and long distance walks, and I make sure your dog receives the full time you have paid for. Travel time is never taken out of the walking time. If you book an hour, your dog gets a full hour on the ground, moving, exploring, playing and enjoying itself. I am confident with large, powerful, nervous and reactive dogs. Dog walking and pet care are my full time job, and I treat them with the same commitment and professionalism as any other full time business. I work from a diary, so each day is planned around booked walks, pick-ups, drop-offs, training sessions and the individual needs of the dogs in my care. My availability depends on the diary, but I always make sure every booking has the proper time set aside for it. I never rush one dog to get to the next, and travel time is not taken out of the walk or care time you have paid for. Your dog’s safety will always come first. I am fully insured and use a specially adapted dog transportation van fitted with secure, custom made, crash tested cages. I also wear a body camera on walks for added safety, accountability and peace of mind. I personally prefer to offer dogs more than the same walk around the block every day. Where suitable, I collect them and take them to a secure private dog-walking facility with one to two acres of space. This gives them the chance to run, explore, play and receive any appropriate obedience work or mental stimulation in a safe, controlled environment. I also offer countryside walks, with dogs kept on lead unless I know them well, have the owner’s permission and believe the area and circumstances are completely suitable. Any freedom is introduced carefully and responsibly, based on the individual dog rather than taking unnecessary risks. Dogs booked into my care for longer periods may also enjoy bigger days out, including trips to Lytham St Annes beach. I believe dogs should be given the chance to experience new places, different smells and proper outdoor freedom, while still being kept safe and following exactly what their owner is comfortable with. My home has secure, fenced areas at both the front and back. Owners are normally expected to provide their dog’s usual food so their diet remains consistent. Where feeding has been agreed for a longer stay, I use Orijen complete kibble unless the owner has requested or supplied a specific diet. Every routine, feeding requirement and instruction will be discussed before the booking begins.

I currently own 3 cats with my partner, and had my beautiful golden retriever Talar with me for 14 years until she very sadly passed. About: I have had cats for 13 years and have had a dog for 4 years. I do feeding, cat litter trays, fresh waters every day and have also administered insulin for my diabetic cat (who I sadly lost last year) and have also administered thyronorm through a syringe for my 13 year old cat who has hypothyroidism. My whole routine from the minute I get up is all focused on my animals, I have 3 cats & 1 dog. One of my cats was a stray abandoned cat but after much searching for his owners know one came froward so I got him neutered & gave him a home. I am not scared of getting stuck in with changing cat litter trays, picking up dogs or cats poops. I have worked in dog groomers, dog kennels & have also done a placement at dogs trust many years ago. I have all of the relevant certificates & diplomas from doing animal care at college but am looking into doing a first aid course for animals & also maybe doing some dog training also. Until I get my confidence up in walking others dogs I will only be accepting small to medium dogs but I'm hoping one day I can move up too big dogs & offering more services surrounding looking after peoples animals as I know how thinking of them when having work commitments and holidays can be tough. My diabetic cat actually came with me to many holidays as I knew she needed her diabetic medication without fail. I am looking forward to starting this journey and meeting new owners and their pets (just don't be surprised when we do meet ill automatically be talking straight to the animals first as always haha) thank you. So I am currently off work at the moment for 6 weeks as I work in a primary school. This works around my child. However on a typical working day I would wake up in the morning, feed all of the cats, change their waters & so their cat litter trays. I would then get myself ready & take my child to school. On returning home I would take my dog for her first walk of the day for around 20 minutes. I would then come home and get ready for work at 10am. After finishing work at 2pm I'd wait for my son to finish school, collect him at 3pm and make our way home. At home I would feed the cats as soon as I get in, clear away any cat poop that's been done why I've been at work, I would then take my dog out for her second walk of the day, usually about half an hour walk. After coming in from that it would be tea time for us & settling down for the night. Around 7pm my cats would get their 3rd meal of the day & this would fit in with my cats medication times so he would have his thyroid medication around 30 minutes after his morning feed and then 30 minutes after his night time feed (12 hours apart) and depending on how my dogs energy levels are she may have a 3rd walk but this isn't a daily thing. They all have their little treats throughout the day trying not to over feed them with treats. So having only experience from my neighbours & friends who have asked me too look after their cats in the past, I would gain access too the property asking that doors where the pets are, are secure where possible so my friends house, her front door going into the house I asked could the living room door be closed just so I can gain access safely and there is no risk of her cats running out onto the road why she was on holiday, I would do as I was asked I.E feeding, waters, I would give a little fuss so having a little stroke & head bump with them and try where possible to clean up after them so not only did I do the cat litters I also brushed around the cat litter to pick up any on the ground, also for my other neighbour I washed their food bowls each day before leaving. Their safely is always my key focus so if they are allowed outside I would always pop back occasionally to ensure they was able to get back into the property especially in rain weather and if they are strictly indoor cats like mine then again I would ask where possible to keep the animals in a place where they cannot run out when I try to gain access. Also when it is hot weather I would pay close attention to the guidelines on temperatures when walking dogs and would not expose any dogs or cats too extreme heat. This would be discussed on the meet and greet and would be agreed upon each individual how that would work. If its safer for the animals to just go outside to toilet then I would make sure not to leave when my time is up I would ensure the safety first and ensure every animal was nice & cool before leaving the property.

He’s super intelligent, full of energy, and needs lots of exercise, attention and mental stimulation every day. Because of him, I’m very used to caring for dogs that need more than just a quick walk and dinner, but would also love looking after pets who are low maintenance and need space! I love playing with pets, keeping them entertained, and making sure they’re happy. I also have an adopted cat who is naturally very nervous and anxious. When we first got him, he wouldn’t come anywhere near us, but over the years I’ve built up his trust by being patient and respecting his boundaries. One of his biggest milestones recently was finally choosing to sit on our laps (while still keeping a careful eye on everything going on!). Looking after him has taught me a lot about understanding anxious pets and letting them settle at their own pace. As part of my Animal Care course, I spent a year doing work experience at both an animal rescue centre and an equestrian riding centre. I learned how to carry out basic health checks, keep enclosures clean, feed and care for different animals, and make sure they were comfortable and well looked after.(this includes guinea pigs, bunnies, cats and kittens) I also gained experience looking after horses, including feeding, grooming and general stable duties. I also volunteered with a sea turtle conservation project in Kefalonia, which was an amazing experience. I helped relocate vulnerable nests when needed, carried out morning beach surveys, took part in beach cleans, and used red lights when guiding hatchlings to the sea to avoid disturbing them. It taught me a lot about caring for wildlife while respecting their natural behaviours. I’m a friendly, reliable, respectful and caring person, and I’d love to give your pets the same love, attention and care that I’d want for my own. Whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or just love lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away. PS - I am also consistent with cleaning and keeping places tidy. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and can easily work around my shifts to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need. I typically work about 3 days a week. At home, my mum is the primary carer for my own pets, so I’m usually free to look after other pets without any issues. The only exception is if she’s away, as I’d need to stay home with my own animals. However, I’d still be happy to help with shorter visits, such as dog walks or toilet breaks. If your dog is friendly and you’d be happy for them to have some company, I could even bring my dog, Myron, along on walks / to your house so they can enjoy some social time together! Whenever I’m looking after someone’s pet, I always take the time to get to know them first so I can understand their personality, routine, and what makes them happy. Every pet is different, so I like to make sure their care is tailored to their individual needs. I have experience caring for pets with different personalities. My cat, Charlie, is quite anxious, so I’ve learned how important it is to be patient, gentle, and give him the space he needs to feel comfortable. My dog, Myron, is very intelligent and needs lots of mental stimulation as well as exercise, so I’m used to keeping him busy with training, games, and fun walks.
