“Emilia was really easy to communicate with and extremely kind and pleasant to deal with. She took great care of my cat Alan while I was away. I would definitely recommend her to anyone”

About: I've recently lost my gorgeous little Boston, winston and am missing him so much, so thought it would be an amazing opportunity to take care of and cuddle lots of other doggies until I am ready to get another. I had winston for 12 years and loved him like my child. I trained him from a puppy and then took care of him and gave him his medication and lots of care in his senior years. I was always brought up around dogs and genuinely love them more than most people. You can be guaranteed your fur babies will get a lot of love and care with me. I'm a teacher so am available at weekends or during school holidays for boarding. I can do drop ins and walks in the evenings on top of this. I dont have any children or other pets so your doggy will get my undivided attention. I treat them like children so they are very welcome on the couch and on the bed with me etc. I live near big playing fields and also have a garden.
“Hana has been fantastic throughout, a little apprehensive of leaving Charlie due to his age however Hana took such great care of him, she even stayed with him on the drop ins for much longer than what we had expected which was lovely. He’s a happy boy - thank you. ? xx”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a teen ager. I have house trained several along the way, and have experience with older dogs as well. I am retired after 52 years in financial services. My day is comprised of trips to the gym and the markets as I am the chef of the house. Until recently this included looking after Alice, our beloved Boston Terrier who passed away a few months ago at 15. I enjoy all aspects of dog care, and have had several dogs over the years including a Chow and a Shepard/Husky cross you I’m quite comfortable with any size dog. I live in a large house with a fenced back yard. I’m a short walk from several prime dog walking areas here in Bolton, and I also drive if a chosen location for your dog is required.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes very naturally to me. I’m 28 and have hands on experience raising and training my own two dogs from just 7 weeks old, which has given me a strong understanding of puppy development, routines, and positive reinforcement training. I’m confident working with dogs of all ages from energetic puppies who need structure and consistency, to older dogs who may need a gentler, more patient approach. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, sticking to routines, and making sure each dog feels safe, calm, and cared for while you’re away. Because I’m a dog owner myself, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I pay close attention to their individual needs, whether that’s exercise, playtime, or just some extra cuddles. My goal is always to make your pet feel happy and stress-free, and to give you complete peace of mind. work shift patterns, which actually allows me to dedicate focused, quality time to pet care. I only accept bookings when I’m off work, so I can give your dog my full attention throughout the day no distractions or time constraints. I’m available on weekdays and every other weekend, making me a flexible option for both regular care and occasional bookings. During my time with your pet, I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and companionship, while sticking closely to their usual routine. Because I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m caring for, you can feel confident they’ll be my top priority while they’re with me. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow your dog’s usual routine closely, feeding times, walks, exercise, and any training or house rules you have in place so they feel secure while you’re away. I’m very respectful of your home and make sure it’s kept clean and just as you left it. I spend quality time with your dog throughout the day, giving them plenty of attention, play, and companionship so they don’t feel lonely. With my experience raising and training dogs from a young age, I’m confident reinforcing good behaviour, sticking to routines, and adapting to each dog’s needs whether that’s an energetic puppy or a more relaxed senior dog. I also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: Hi! I’m Lita, a proud pet mum to three lovely pets: one dog and two cats. I’ve cared for animals for over 10 years, so I have plenty of experience with both cats and dogs, from everyday care and playtime to giving oral medication when needed. I’ll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Whether they need a nice walk, a game of fetch, brushing, cuddles, feeding, or a little extra spoiling, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m also happy to help with small pet care tasks such as cleaning litter trays or pet toilets. Just let me know what your pet’s routine is, and I’ll follow it carefully. I work from home as a graphic designer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, visits, and quality time with your pet. I currently work fully remote so I only need somewhere I can plug a computer next to your pet. I can have as many walky or play-time breaks as needed and real cuddles! I am happy to provide daily updates and photos and keep a diary/summary of the day. My house is fully fenced and has a small garden to where the dog can have full access during the day
About: I’ve had pets all my life in my family home, usually a mix of both dogs and cats at the same time. I used to live in a lovely countryside area where we could go for massive walks and enjoy amazing play time! I now look after our lovely cat Betty and kitten Penny who are a handful, but they’re also the cuddliest most loving cats we’ve ever seen. I work full time, however my shifts change all the time leaving either a full morning or full evening available, plus 3 days a week off. I will look after your pet as I would my own, based on their routines that you have established with them. They would be in your home and used to their usual routines, and I would follow your instructions to the letter. I’ve been using an amazing sitter on Rover for years and would model myself on her amazing service. I would be the only person looking after your pet.

About: A loving home-from-home dog-sitting home with two playful miniature dachshunds who love making new friends. Your dog will be cared for as one of our own, with plenty of love, playtime, and attention. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m currently working a small part time job following maternity leave, which means I’m home alot of the time and able to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and companionship alongside my own two dogs. Pets in my home are treated like part of the family. I have a fully fenced back garden for safe outdoor time, and two lovely miniature dachshunds who enjoy having company. We go on regular walks around the cemetery and enjoy trips to the park, with plenty of playtime, routine, and lots of cuddles included free of charge.
About: All dogs will be given plenty of exercise throughout the day as I love my walks and outside too! All day of fun and playing! Monday - Friday I can walk dogs from 6:30pm-8pm. Weekends I can pet sit from Friday at 6:30pm- Sunday 9pm. Weekends are more flexible from am-pm. I will offer them water and treats. Pet food will need to be supplied by the owner and familiar toys. I am happy for pets to sit on my couch/bed and share my home.
“Alex was fantastic, she took excellent care of our cat, Millie, whilst we were away on holiday. Millie clearly took to Alex too as she's usually a bit fussy but gave Alex lots of cuddles and play time.”

“Thankyou so much for looking after Björn, he looked so happy in the photos and videos that you sent during the visit and it really put us at ease knowing that he was alright while we were away 😊”

About: I have both had dogs since our childhood, and currently have two friendly cocker spaniels. All my dog experience has been from pups, I even acted as midwife for my next door neighbours bitch giving birth 3 years ago! My location has a large country park at the end of the street, and woodland behind me which I manage as a volunteer warden. I have a dog friendly rear garden and my cockers love drinking from the barrel water feature. I have very tolerant pets and they happily engage with other visiting dogs, and a previous neighbours cat. I have an engaging daily routine for them, so much so I'm convinced my dogs can tell the time, when their next activity is due. I am a stay at home foster-dad, and my wife works, sometimes from home. I volunteer in my local community woodlands, and other institutions throughout the day but I estimate our dogs are not at home for more than 3 hours alone. Apart from a clean and secure rear garden, my home is partitioned in such a way that a scared visitor could have seclusion if required. I do have a crate in the kitchen, and my dogs use it for privacy/ sleep ( door open). If your dog would be anxious at night, then I can keep my dogs upstairs with me or they can remain in the kitchen to keep their visitor company. Whichever works.
“Claudine was super helpful doing some cat sitting for us while we were on holiday. It’s our first time using Claudine but will definitely use her again in the future. Thanks Claudine!”

“Patricia did an excellent job looking after my cats and on fairly short notice too! I received text messages after each visit giving me an update on how things were going which was really reassuring. I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to ask Patricia to assist again in the future. Thanks Patricia 👍🏼”

“We have been using Janet 2-4 times per week to do an hour drop in session with our puppy for over a month now. We get feedback throughout and following the sessions and he seems comfortable with her on all the photos. We will be continuing to use her to come and visit him so he’s not on his own all day while we’re at work.”

About: I have 3 cats of my own (my babies I love them), some fish and over the years my experience includes looking after friends/families pets. Most recently my boyfriend’s elderly cat with thyroid medication and a friend’s dog with a strict diet. I’m used to cats behaviour and will give them the patience, attention and playtime they need, as I’d want other sitters to treat my pets with the same care. As an animal lover I am open to looking after other animals, I also love dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I promise they’ll be cared for as if they were my own 😊🩷 Im currently in between jobs so I have full availability and can be flexible to fit around your pets routine. I also have a driving license so travelling won’t be a problem. During visits I will do the basics (cleaning litter, feeding your pet, dog walking, sweeping/cleaning the room), provide medication if needed, lots of cuddles, play and will send updates of course!
The median cost per Visit for pet sitting in Bolton is £12

Emilia’s second time looking after our pets was the height of professionalism and care. We received daily updates and supporting photos of how she attended to the needs of our smaller friends. This gave us peace of mind whilst away and we would not hesitate to recommend Emilia and her services as a diligent carer of pets.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care, Beyond Expectations We are truly grateful to Bethany for the outstanding care she provided for our cats during wr absence. She did everything perfectly & treated our boys with genuine love, patience, & responsibility. What makes her truly exceptional is that despite going through very difficult circumstances herself — including severe pain in her ankle due to reflex issues that required a hospital visit — she still came back to our home after the hospital to care for our cats so that she would not let us down as she Promised us. This level of dedication, honesty, & compassion is extremely rare in this time. Bethany is an amazing & wonderful person. Our respect & appreciation for her have grown immensely. She never abandoned us, even while she was suffering in pain. She is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, & trustworthy people we have ever met. Words like “thank you” are simply not enough to express our gratitude. She deserves the highest level of respect & trust, we Highly recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for someone who truly cares — not just about cats , but about keeping doing as what she promises no matter the circumstances. Thank you once again. You are truly remarkable. God Bless you. ❤️

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
