About: I’ve had dogs since I was a teen ager. I have house trained several along the way, and have experience with older dogs as well. I am retired after 52 years in financial services. My day is comprised of trips to the gym and the markets as I am the chef of the house. Until recently this included looking after Alice, our beloved Boston Terrier who passed away a few months ago at 15. I enjoy all aspects of dog care, and have had several dogs over the years including a Chow and a Shepard/Husky cross you I’m quite comfortable with any size dog. I live in a large house with a fenced back yard. I’m a short walk from several prime dog walking areas here in Bolton, and I also drive if a chosen location for your dog is required.

“Halle is currently looking after Romeo senior 16ywar old Chihuahua. Romeo has only ever been left with family and has quickly built a trusted relationship with Halle over a short period of time. Halle is calm and caring with Romeo, the pictures are reassuring and I look forward to getting them. It’s reassuring as a pet owner to know Romeo feels relaxed and safe with Halle”

“She is very responsible and communicative, always giving clear updates and photos, and making sure I know how my cat is doing. Most importantly, my cat absolutely love her. It’s obvious that she truly cares about animals and treats them with patience and kindness.”

About: I've always had a genuine love for animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I take the time to get to know each pet so they feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether it's a playful puppy, an independent cat, or a senior pet who needs a little extra patience and attention, I provide calm, compassionate care tailored to them. I'm happy to stick to feeding schedules, administer basic medications if needed, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and most importantly, give lots of affection and reassurance. I know how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, so I'll always treat your pets as if they were my own. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing they're happy and well looked after. I work from home, which means I'm available throughout the day to provide plenty of attention, companionship and care. Whether your pet enjoys regular walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, they'll never be left feeling lonely. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate most routines and give pets the time and attention they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. My home is clean, tidy and smoke-free indoors, with a secure fenced garden for supervised outdoor time and play. Larger dogs are welcome to enjoy the spacious downstairs living areas and garden, although the upstairs is kept off-limits for them. I'm lucky to live close to plenty of lovely walking routes, green spaces and adventure spots, perfect for keeping dogs active and engaged. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, gentle strolls or simply relaxing at home, I'll tailor their care to suit their needs. I also share my home with one friendly indoor cat (Koby the Bengal), so it's important that visiting pets are comfortable around cats. We are open to separating them for some shorter stays. There are no breed or size preferences, but for the safety and wellbeing of everyone, I can only accept pets that are non-aggressive and well behaved in the home environment. Most importantly, your pet will receive lots of affection, attention and companionship throughout their stay, day or night, cuddles are always included!

About: 🐾 Hi! I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them means they’ve always been like a little best friend, and bringing up my own puppy has honestly been one of the best things ever! Nothing lifts me more than spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks or having lots of cuddles. I’ve looked after friends and families dogs whilst they’ve been away on holiday, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they’re happy and well looked after. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, from puppies to big, strong breeds, like my XL American Bully girl, so I’m confident handling all kinds of doggies. I love that each dog has their own personality, so I’ll always take time to get to know them and familiarise myself with any additional assistance they need. And of course, I’ll always make sure they feel safe and happy - treating your dog just like they’re one of my own 🐶💕 Xx I currently work full time, with availability on the weekends to get to know your pups! 🐶 I am also free some evenings on request, please just drop me a message 💛 I’ll take time to get to know any special care requirements, training and routines before caring for your doggos and will take that responsibility very seriously. I’ll always keep dogs on their lead unless you’ve told me it’s safe to let them off and be mindful if you’ve told me they are anxious pups 💛 When caring for your fur baby in your home, I’ll treat your home with respect, keeping it clean, tidy, and secure - just as I would with my own. I’ll make sure your pooch has everything they need, including fresh water, meals, regular toilet opportunities, exercise, playtime, and LOTS of love and attention. I’d like for you both to feel comfortable, safe and happy while spending time apart which can be difficult as it is 💛
“Zuzanna has been amazing from start to finish! She did a lovely introductory meet & greet, and my cat took to her straight away—it was clear she’s confident and comfortable around animals, especially cats. Throughout her time looking after my little one, she sent me loads of photos, which really put my mind at ease. It was so reassuring to know my cat was in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend Zuzanna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!! 10/10 I will be booking again when the time comes 🐈⬛”

“Jade was my first booking for a sitter, & I couldn’t have been more pleased with her service. She kept me updated throughout, sent me some great pictures and videos whilst I was away, and her attention to detail in terms of how she left my home when I arrived back was fantastic - went above and beyond :) Will be choosing her again in future for sure! Thanks again Jade :)”

About: I’ve had pets since 2, 3 cats till I was 17 and a dog from 7-19! I currently have my own cat, Fig. My mum currently has 2 cats and a dog whom I look after when I visit. I used to look after a neighbours dog occasionally when I was a teenager I currently work full time but I work different shift patterns so I would be able to pop in at any point in the day/week. My current cat is an indoor cat. So if I were to have a pet lodge here they would have to be comfortable with other pets. My cat has been fine with other animals. I regularly take him to my mums house on visits and he gets along with her dog and cats
“Toni was excellent with our two cats and dog, even the naughty cat who learnt how to break in to the food cupboard while we were away! Sent photo updates everyday and was very clean. Ensured my old dog received her medicine and even changed the schedule a bit when necessary, 10/10! Highly recommend if you need a reliable sitter!”

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
