“Kate was fast to reply to my messages and to answer my questions, and she was kind enough to let Peppa visit before I made a booking. I was a bit apprehensive at how Peppa would settle with a new sitter given she has separation anxiety, but upon arrival it was obvious that she immediately felt at home. Kate kept me updated throughout with pics and messages letting me know how everything was going. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks very much, Peppa can't wait to come back!”

“My cat Caesar stayed with Pat for 4 days and we had a great experience. My cat is very nervous and temperamental however he settled quickly with Pat which shows that Pat was patient and understanding of Caesar. Pat provided daily updates and pictures which was appreciated - and really showed that Caesar had made himself at home! Pat was diligent in following Caesars routine and keeping him safe (as he is an indoor cat). We will definitely be booking with Pat again.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands on experience caring for Labradors and other dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines. I currently own a Labrador called Layla and have had Labradors in the past too, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, energetic dogs and dogs that love plenty of exercise and attention. I’ve also volunteered with Guide Dogs, which gave me valuable experience around dog behaviour, structure, patience, consistency and handling dogs calmly in different environments. Alongside caring for my own dogs, I’ve regularly walked and boarded friends’ dogs, helping them settle into a comfortable routine away from home. I genuinely enjoy learning more about dog behaviour, enrichment, body language and building trust with each dog individually. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and reliable and I’m happy caring for nervous, excitable, high energy or older dogs. I work from home, which means dogs staying with me get plenty of company, supervision, attention and care throughout the day and night. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their personalities properly. I aim to create a calm, home from home environment where dogs feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family. I work from home and already structure my day around caring for my own Labrador, Layla. Dogs staying with me get plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day and evening in a calm home environment. I’m able to provide regular toilet breaks, feeding routines, play, affection and multiple daily outings as part of a normal day rather than fitting them around a busy schedule. Boarding works especially well for me during evenings, weekends and holidays, and I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable, relaxed and settled while staying away from home. Dogs staying in my home are cared for in a calm, safe and comfortable environment where they’re treated like part of the family. My home is clean, dog friendly and dog proofed, with a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time, toilet breaks and play. Because I work from home, dogs get regular company, feeding, affection and multiple daily outings throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication, sleeping arrangements and any specific instructions that help them feel comfortable and settled. Safety is very important to me, especially when introducing dogs or managing different personalities and energy levels. I take time to understand each dog individually, including temperament, behaviour, exercise needs and anything they may be anxious or reactive around. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and experienced around larger breeds and energetic dogs. Regular photo and video updates will also be provided so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away.
“Couldn’t have asked for better dog sitters to watch our British bulldog whilst we went away for the weekend, from asking them if they had dates available to watch our dog to going to collect himst the end of his stay, so polite and always answered any messages we sent across, was so lovely of them to send us photos of our boy whilst he was there and really made us feel better about leaving him, our dog fudge really seemed to have settled in with the family and I couldn’t thank them enough.”

“Alex was absolutely wonderful, our doggo Tyra definitely had a great time! Kept us updated throughout, they catered excellently to all Tyra’s needs and to be honest I don’t think she missed us at all! Would definitely recommend and we will come back in future!”

“Oscar had a wonderful time with Matthew and Raissa. He was happy and relaxed. He enjoyed all his walks and spotting squirrels. We were updated with photos while we were away. I can’t praise Matthew and Raissa enough for the care Oscar received.”

“Very happy with the care Kerry gave to Skye. From the first meet and greet, I was reassured Skye would be in good hands. I will definitely look to book Skye in with Kerry in the future.”

“Thankyou both so much for looking after Chester this weekend! It was our first time leaving him with someone for Home Boarding and I was initially really nervous. But I had absolutely no reason to be, Dylan and Ellie were fabulous hosts and Chester has been treated like a king. I had regular photos and videos to keep me updated which was so lovely. Would recommend in a heartbeat and will absolutely use again when needed ☺️”

“Alison looked after little pup for 5 nights while we had a pre Christmas break. And from the photos it looks like he had his own holiday. He had loads of cuddles, plenty of muddy walks (his favourite thing) and even some runs. Thank you very much for taking so such good care of Charlie. We will definitely be in touch again. Would 100% recommend Alison”

“Would highly recommend. I booked very last minute and was 50/50 on whether to go ahead with booking as I was undecided on whether my dog would come away with us or not. I changed my mind twice but she was still happy to have her at quite short notice. Suggested a meet and greet at her house prior to introduce my dog which was great and to be honest, instantly put me at ease. Left her for 3 days and wouldn't hesitate to use again. Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child, I have had dogs all my life and started looking after other peoples pets at around 16, I have two of my own large rescue dogs that come with their own issues so I am well experienced with animals with nerves. I understand pets that are shy as I have looked after my aunties pets that struggle with anxiety and we have built a bond overtime. I have experience with slightly larger breeds such as male staffies and pit bulls as I have grown up with them since I was 7, I have also looked after puppies before (less than 1 years old, not less than a month old etc.) I am willing and capable to care of a young pup. I have looked after many cats and understand some are not as sociable, I am patient. I am no stranger to being nibbled by puppies and giving them extra play time / longer walks to tire them out, I also understand older dogs need a more relaxed approach. I have recently finished college and I have much more spare time, as such an animal enthusiast I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I wake up early and complete daily chores around the house and feeding / walking my own pets. I also sell online so I will often be posting parcels, I am 18 with a full driving licence and my own vehicle so transport is no issue! I am available all throughout the day. I have been trusted multiple times with peoples house keys and being able to let myself in / lock up their homes to watch over their pets. Our garden is fenced off and pretty decent space wise, we also have toys at home that have never been touched as our dog is not interested, we have a large crate if necessary and other dog beds, we have a guest room that can be used for your pet. We always have treats and multiple water bowls available. The back garden is safe and we do not take the dogs on the front garden unless they are on a lead.
“Camilla was absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend her highly enough!! I knew from the moment I met her, her delightful daughter and partner that my dog would be in the most exceptionally safe and kind hands. Camilla is warm and empathetic as a person - she knows how to look after animals with dedication and professionalism. She regularly sent pictures of videos always keeping me updated. She will always be the first person I will ask going forward to look after my dog when I’m away and require someone to look after her. Thank you so much Camilla!! 🙏🤗😀”

“Our dog was so contented when we came to collect her, she would happily have stayed with Keith. The photos he sent of our dog reassured us she was in good hands, while we were away. Keith is a kind and considerate gentleman, whose home is immaculate. We will make sure he is the first person we contact next time we need a safe and loving home for our dog to go to.”

“Samantha looked after my Labrador, Shadow, for a long weekend and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me regularly updated with messages and photos, it was great to see how much fun Shadow was having. It was clear Shadow was well cared for, with plenty of walks, attention, and a genuinely happy environment. You can tell Samantha really cares about the dogs she looks after, and Shadow came back relaxed and content. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Samantha again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog minder.”

About: 🐾 My profile: My last furry friend is a miniature schnauzer ( her name is Beyonce) who had lived up to 16 years old . In her old age, I had developed skills to take care of senior dog, including special diets and precise medication schedules. I provide the patience and vigilance senior pets deserve. On the other side, I also enjoyed having dogs at all ages. I take care of dogs for my friends, family and neighbours from time to time and it is always fascinating to have their company:) I’m looking forward to take care of and be friends with your lovely furry friends! Im currently working nights shift (Wednesday -Friday nights) ,therefore I will be able to take care of your lovely fur friends on daytime during Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday , Saturday and Sunday. Just text me for any flexible schedule request ! I have a fenced garden for your pets, can also create a crate if your pet needs one. Would be able to take dogs for a walk outside park in the estate / walkable pathway along Regent Park Golf Centre.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with dogs, cats and rabbits in the home. Since buying my first home, I now have two cats and a rabbit of my own, and I regularly look after my parents’ cockapoos and five cats when they go away. I’ve also cared for friends’ retrievers and have experience with a wide range of cat breeds and temperaments, including Ragamuffins, Birmans and Ragdolls as well as some gorgeous fun loving moggies :) I offer a calm, loving, cosy home environment with a large secure garden where dogs can safely run around and play. Visiting dogs are treated like part of the family and can make themselves comfortable around the house, whether they enjoy sofa cuddles, quiet time or garden zoomies. I can't wait to have a dog of my own in the future! I’m patient, reliable and happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding instructions, walks, playtime, medication where needed (having owned a disabled cat previously that required medication) and regular updates for owners. As I have my own cats and rabbit, they can be kept separate from visiting dogs and cats if needed, so everyone feels safe and settled. I'm 28 years old and currently a Masters student completing my dissertation so I will be at home all the time and I live with my partner who's a high-school teacher. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and so I promise to care for them with kindness, attention and genuine love until you return to them. Ready to accept boarders, stay at your home wiht pets and offer dog walking if its close to my home. My current routine is ideal for pet care, as I’m home most of the week and love having animals around while I study. I’m currently at home throughout the week while completing my Master’s dissertation, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to give pets plenty of time, attention and company during the day. Because I’m home-based at the moment, your pet wouldn’t be left for long periods, and I can easily work around their usual routine — whether that includes feeding times, walks, playtime, garden breaks, medication, cuddles or quiet time. I also really enjoy getting out for local walks, so having a dog to care for fits perfectly with my lifestyle. I’m happy to build walks into the day depending on your dog’s energy levels and needs, whether they prefer a gentle stroll or something a little more active. If I go to the gym, I usually go very early in the morning around 5:30–6:00am, so it doesn’t take away from the time I can dedicate to looking after your pet but I can work this around the dog/cats routine. Overall, my routine is calm, flexible and home-based, which means I can offer a reliable and attentive environment for your animal while they’re in my care. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, settled and loved, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting theirs. In my own home, I offer a calm, welcoming environment where pets can settle in at their own pace and be treated like part of the family. I have a large secure garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime and toilet breaks safely. Inside the house, pets are welcome to make themselves comfortable, whether they prefer being close by, relaxing in a quiet spot, or having space to themselves. I always follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding instructions, walks, medication, sleep arrangements and any specific rules or preferences from their owner. Because I have two cats and a rabbit of my own, I’m very mindful of introductions, boundaries and keeping animals safe. My own pets can be kept separate from visiting pets if needed, and I would always discuss this with owners beforehand to make sure the arrangement is suitable for everyone. I’m also happy to care for one or two dogs/cats at a time if needed or just look after one if that helps your pet feel more settled and gives you extra peace of mind. I take time to understand each animal’s personality, behaviour and needs before a booking, including how they are with other animals, whether they have any anxieties, allergies, medical needs or triggers, and what helps them feel calm. I believe in gentle, patient care and would never force interaction or rush a pet who needs time to adjust. Happy to have a call or meeting beforehand if that makes you feel more comfortable. If I’m caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat the home with the same respect and care I would expect in my own. I’ll make sure pets are fed, checked, comforted and cared for properly, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pet is happy and well looked after.
“Daniel and his partner were great with my senior greyhound Rhubarb. They gave us daily updates and photos of how she was getting on and she always seemed really happy and content, even though her stay was over New Year’s Eve and she can be a bit nervous with fireworks. Rhubarb was so well looked after and we picked up a very happy dog at the end of her stay, we’d definitely book with Daniel again!”

Bolton pet owners share their Rover experiences
I’m absolutely over the moon with how amazingly Angie took care of my elderly dog, Jerry, whilst I’ve been away. It’s like he’s been on holiday himself. I would 100% recommend booking if you’re looking for someone who will love your dog like their own and keep you updated along the way.

Amber loved her stay with Patricia. Our dog can be very nervous so the warm, friendly and calm welcome she received was very welcome. Patricia kept us up to date with photos and messages which was re-assuring. She also had plenty of walks so we would recomend this sitter.

Ross is an amazing dog sitter! Fast to reply to messages, invited me and Peppa over for a meet and greet before making a booking, and has a lovely home and family too. When I dropped Peppa off for her first overnight stay she settled in immediately and was clearly made to feel at home. Ross sent me loads of pics, and took Peppa on a long walk, which she loved. I couldn't have asked for more. Pretty sure Peppa agreed given she wasn't in a rush to leave when I arrived to collect her! Thanks very much.

Thanks so much to Janet and Kevan for looking after Charlie in their home for 8 nights. Their care of him was outstanding! He had a day trip to Howarth and a ride on a steam train, a visit to the seaside so he could have a run and the beach and many long local walks. It was brilliant to see the photos and videos Janet sent us of Charlie thoroughly enjoying himself while we were on holiday. We will definitely be booking again. Thanks Amanda and Andy

Jessica and Chances were amazing with Mehlu! Before confirming the booking, we had a meet & greet, and they asked lots of questions about her daily routine and personality, which really showed how thoughtful and attentive they are. Jessica also kept us very well updated with lots of photos and messages, which really put our minds at ease. Mehlu looked so happy and relaxed – clearly enjoying all the attention and cuddles 😂 You can tell they genuinely love dogs, and we felt completely comfortable leaving her with them. Highly recommended – we would definitely book again! 😊🐶

Denielle and her boyfriend looked after our Frenchie, Lola for a weekend while we got married (we wanted her there but she is far too excitable around lots of people). They were absolutely amazing with her, they suggested a home visit before the stay so that she could have a wonder around and make sure she was comfortable there. They kept us updated with how she was and sent us pictures from on her walks. Lola had a fantastic time there and was treated as if she was their own family pet. We would highly recommend booking with Denielle and we will certainly be booking with them again next time we need a dog sitter.
