I spend most of my time at home caring for my friendly 3-year-old son, which means I can provide plenty of attention, supervision and companionship for the dogs in my care. Although I am not a professional dog trainer, I have experience looking after dogs for close friends while they were away on holiday. I have always loved dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Now that I am not currently working, I am excited to turn that passion into something meaningful while helping other pet owners feel confident that their dogs are being well cared for. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, cuddles or simply relaxing in a calm home environment, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved during their stay. As I have a young child at home, I only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children. “My 5 month old puppy stayed with Jena for the first time this week. It’s difficult to find a sitter who really knows how to look after a young puppy, even if it has a great temperament & is well behaved (for a puppy). But Jenna was great, she knew exactly what questions to ask, which gave me confidence that she understood the discipline required to ensure a puppy understands what’s required of it when away from home. Oscar had a fab time, with just the right balance of exercise & sleep. He also loved the company of Jena’s little Teddy’s on walks. It was comforting to see at 5 months that he could be off lead without me there to recall him. Although he was over the moon to see me at pick up time, he was slightly reluctant to get into my car, I’m pretty sure he didn’t want to leave 😂😂. We will definitely be back to stay with Jena & Teddy again.”

About: I can offer a calm and safe environment for your doggie. I have many years of experience in caring for dogs. I am fully insured and will treat your doggie like a member of my family with plenty of cuddles while they are with me I love all animals and was brought up by a mother who was also passionate about dogs. I am licensed with Sefton Council. I am around throughout the day and I have my own 12 year old toy poodle (Romeo) who is a friendly boy. I have a secure garden and my home is safe and clean. There are no young children in my home. I can offer a safe and caring environment. Plenty of cuddles with your dog being my top priority.

“We left our anxious 6 year old Labrador with Niamh for 3 nights and she was amazing with him. He can be nervous when walking in a new area and with new people and she took the time with him to get him to walk and let him take the lead to make him comfortable. By the end of the 3 days he was doing great. Niamh sent plenty of updates which made us be able to relax more. I will be booking Niamh again and so happy we have found someone who we trust with our beautiful boy.”

“Gugu looked after our young, high energy dog for 3 days. We were very nervous about leaving him as he’s never been to stay with anyone before but Gugu put me right at ease. About: Hi! We’re two friends who’ve recently moved to Liverpool and have both grown up with dogs our whole lives. My family dogs are both 13 yo siblings from the same litter, and one of them has been deaf since birth, so I’m used to adapting care to suit different dogs and their individual needs. We have experience with everything from energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime to older dogs who prefer a slower pace and lots of cuddles. We know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and we’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while they’re with us. We’re also happy to send plenty of updates and photos throughout their stay! 🐶💕 We both work flexible hybrid jobs, which means one of us is usually home throughout the day and your dog will rarely be left alone. We love getting out for walks, whether that’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure. I’m definitely an early bird and love starting the day with a morning walk, while my flatmate is more of an evening person, so there’s usually someone ready for walkies, playtime, or cuddles from morning through to night. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. We live in a flat with a small balcony, but toilet breaks and walks will be frequent throughout the day, with longer walks for dogs who enjoy a bit more exercise and adventure. One of my own dogs is basically my baby and the definition of a couch potato, so I’m just as happy spending the afternoon cuddled up on the sofa as I am playing with energetic dogs who want constant attention. Whether your dog loves naps, fetch, belly rubs, or playtime, we’ll make sure they feel right at home. We even have a hallway that’s the perfect length for a game of indoor fetch when the weather isn’t cooperating! I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so we’ll care for them the same way we’d want our own dogs to be cared for, with plenty of love, attention, patience, and updates for you along the way.

Keeping your pet safe and happy are my top priorities - when your dog is in my care, they will always be supervised during walks and playtime to ensure they feel comfortable and secure in new environments. I will also follow any specific instructions you provide so you can feel confident your furry friend is in caring, responsible hands.
