“Lovely welcome from Sharon. My two dogs loved their time with her and her family. She gave me regular updates and photos which was good. I would highly recommend Sharon to other dog owners.”

“Reggie stayed with Ange for two weeks, and I was extremely nervous as I’d never left him for that long before. Ange put my mind at ease from the very beginning. I received daily updates on all the adventures Reggie and Louie had together, which I really appreciated. Every day, my boys would ask, “What’s Reggie’s update today?” They loved hearing what he’d been up to! Thank you so much, Ange. I couldn’t recommend you highly enough. Reggie was so well looked after, and we’ll definitely be back!”

“Would highly recommend Octavian - he did a great job looking after our Lizzie! She was very well cared for and we got sent lovely pictures were she looked like she was having a great time! Host very friendly and managed to fit us in last minute- thank you again!”
“Our dog had a lovely stay with Lauren and family and we could relax knowing that he was in a great home environment. He bonded with Lauren's dog and it was great knowing that we were leaving him with someone who clearly loves dogs! We got lots of photo and video updates which showed him having a great holiday! Thank you for taking such good care of him!”

“Mo was an absolute diamond find. We were so lucky to find this lovely lady. She looked after our 2 dogs with the greatest love and care while we travelled on a 2 week break. We are so happy to of found somebody that we can trust and know our pets are on great hands. Thank you so much!!”

“I cant recommend Stephanie highly enough! Im not sure Honey wanted to come home! Stephanie has a lovely, spacious home and has an ideal doggy secure front and back gardens. Stephanie is also very much a doggy person who has her own dog Millie who also is delightful. Honey has been to stay with Stephanie and Millie for a long weekend, and being a 7 month old pup, we’re still at the building confidence stage and this was to be Honeys very first big girls weekend away. Stephanie has made this a fantastic experience for her and I knew from our first meet amd greet a couple of weeks earlier, that Honey would be happy staying there. Shes had an awesome weekend so thank you so much Stephanie! Heres to the next time xx”

“I recommend Charlotte and Mike. Their home is very homely, and I felt completely confident that Bertie was well cared for throughout his stay. Unfortunately, Bertie didn't settle very well overnight (sorry Mike!) - Despite this, Charlotte and Mike remained professional and attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again”

About: Hi, I’m Jade! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets and I’m now lucky enough to have my own two dogs, Bonnie (Cocker Spaniel) and Lola (King Charles Cavalier). ❤️ Alongside my love for animals, I’m a Registered Nurse, so caring, responsibility and safety have always been a big part of who I am. I have completed my CPD accredited Dog First Aid Emergency Canine Care course, giving owners extra reassurance that their dogs are in safe hands. I have a valid DBS which is up to date. I’m passionate about providing dogs with fun, safe and enjoyable walks where they can explore, sniff and be themselves. Every dog is unique, and I’ll always take the time to understand their personality, needs and routines. Working with dogs has always been something I’ve wanted to pursue. I have had dogs throughout my life and currently have two of my own, so I understand the love, care, and attention they need. I have reduced my hours in my current job to allow me to dedicate more time to something I truly enjoy. I would be delighted to spend that time walking, caring for, and getting to know your beloved furry companions, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and well cared for. I live on a quiet estate, and my home offers a secure, fully fenced garden in a safe location away from busy main roads. This provides a calm and secure environment where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed.

“Excellent service from Filip. Ted was spoilt and well looked after. Plenty of pictures and good communication. Filip even picked me up from the station on his way to drop Ted. Very impressed and definitely use again. In fact already booked in for next week. Good job.”

Absolutely wonderful – highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Meghan and Laurence to look after Larry. From the moment we left him, they made us feel completely at ease and treated him as if he were their own. They absolutely spoiled him with attention and lots of lovely walks, and it was so clear how happy and settled he was with them. Larry had the best time and came home one very happy, well exercised and thoroughly spoilt dog! He’s made two new besties. Thank you both so much for taking such wonderful care of him. We really appreciate it and we wouldn’t hesitate to have Larry stay with you again. ❤️🐾

I can honestly say I could not have left my dogs in any better homely environment than with lok man t. My two boys are 5 years old and had never previously been left away from a close member of our family, so I was really apprehensive in leaving them. However I needn’t have worried, with the daily photos and videos received and visually seeing them becoming comfortable, relaxed confident and happy and lovingly interacting with lok man reassured me I had made the right choice of house sitter, it left me and the family feeling that our dogs were also enjoying a five star holiday. I will readily use look man in the future and would highly recommend this service

We honestly couldn’t recommend Bianca enough! In the 9 years we’ve had our beloved Peanut, she has never been looked after by a pet sitter as we’ve always been lucky enough to have family care for her. This year all of our family were away together, so we had to find someone quite last minute, and we feel so lucky that we found Bianca. From my very first enquiry, Bianca was amazing with communication. She arranged a quick and flexible time for us to meet, welcomed us into her home and immediately made us feel at ease. She explained exactly what we could expect and asked lots of questions about Peanut, her routine and her needs. We were really anxious about leaving her with someone new, but Bianca reassured us from the very first message. And Peanut’s stay genuinely couldn’t have gone better! The daily updates were amazing- so detailed, with SO many photos of Peanut looking happy, relaxed and completely at home. 🥹🐾 It instantly took away our anxiety and meant we could actually relax and enjoy our holiday knowing she was being so well cared for. The biggest compliment we can give is that after 9 years of only trusting family with Peanut, we now have someone else we completely trust to look after her in the future. Thank you so much, Bianca! We’re so grateful we found you and would 100% recommend you to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. ❤️🐶

I honestly cannot thank Leah enough for everything she’s done when looking after Crumble, whether that’s for a daycare or for the 10 days when I went on holiday. When he’s there he is constantly making friends, going on days out and getting her full attention, love and having all his needs met!! I feel so reassured and at ease leaving him with you and Crumble also looks super happy and comfortable to be there which is the main thing!! When picking him up he’s always so happy and looks so well loved and looked after!! I get lots of updates and pictures to and she listens and remembers any important details which is so important!! I will always be using Leah from now on and I’m sure Crumble will be very happy about that to! Thank you SO much!! 🩷🩷

Can’t recommend Charlotte enough, everything was just really easy and relaxed and no stress which is exactly what we need and want, she was responsive and great with communication, flexible when needed and gave lovely updates with pictures of Cece’s stay and Cece just seemed really relaxed and chilled like she’d been to stay a million times before and this was just another short stay! We hope to book again with Charlotte if she’ll have us!

Sharon was wonderful with my Pug Elvis. It’s his second visit with her and he settled in brilliantly. Sharon kept us up to date with how he was getting on every day and sent plenty of photos. I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet, she’s really lovely.

This was the 1st time I used Katie and what a fantastic person she is. She has a genuine love for dogs and it shows with the love and care she gives them aswell as all the cuddles they want a true home from home My dog belle likes to be the only dog as she can be a bit possessive over toys. So the fact that Katie only takes one dog at a time was perfect for us. I got regular updates and pictures. Belle has such good long walks and lots of cuddles she even got a little ice cream treat. I will definitely be booking Katie again xx

My 2 dogs had a great time. I was a bit nervous about leaving them as they are only just a year old and I've not left them with anyone before. It was a very hot week and I did say not to worry about getting them out on walks but left that up to Rachel to make the decision on whether it would be too hot or not. I was sent plenty of updates and photos of them being played with and also just chilling out in the garden. They seemed to have a great time and I would be more than happy to use Rachel again.
Matty and Georgia have been absolutely wonderful with Maisie, who can be a little untrusting. They gave me regular updates while I was away sending photos to show she was happy. She has come back from her stay with them beautifully groomed (she's a very hairy dog) and completely relaxed and happy. Everything went so smoothly it was easy to go away knowing she was so comfortable with them. I wouldn't hesitate to book them again and have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

I would like to thank Helen and family for looking after ozzy for the week. He loved being able to roam around the enclosed fields. The experience from the first meeting to the end was excellent and very perfessional. I would recommend Helen to anybody that is looking to leave their pets and will definitely be using them in the future. Once again and big thanks. Ivan.

Mo was an absolute diamond find. We were so lucky to find this lovely lady. She looked after our 2 dogs with the greatest love and care while we travelled on a 2 week break. We are so happy to of found somebody that we can trust and know our pets are on great hands. Thank you so much!!

Our nervous dog was happy to see Justyna again and clearly felt comfortable and relaxed during the stay. Communication was great throughout, with lovely pictures and updates every day which really put our minds at ease. She and her partner are both kind and caring, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again

This was Lola’s second time staying with Ellie. Lola absolutely loves their time together and always comes home so happy (& shattered) from all of the play time! Ellie took Lola to the beach, (reached out before hand to ask if that would be okay) which was so lovely. It’s so nice to know that she's going somewhere that she will be looked after just like she is at home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
