I was the typical 6 year old girl who wanted to be a vet🐾I grew up in a pet family home and have always loved animals. Growing up, I regularly took my neighbours dogs on walks and was more than happy to take the lead from a young age. More recently, I frequently look after dogs for family and friends with my husband Joe, and have gained experience with various breeds through Rover🐶 I also have 2 cats that live at my mums house, and would feel more than happy to take care of cats too🐱 My husband Joe is an experienced dog owner and has grown up with them from a young age. He’s more than happy to get stuck in and is great with all kinds of dogs whether they be high energy or a little shy.

We couldn’t have asked for better care for our Frenchie during his overnight stay with Leah & Joe. He has some medical needs and it was such a relief knowing he was in such caring hands. Everything was handled so thoughtfully and without any fuss, which we really appreciated. It’s clear how much care and attention goes into looking after the dogs, and we felt completely at ease. Thank you for taking such good care of him, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
Starla had the best day 🥰 we were so nervous to leave her with anyone as she is still training so isn’t always the best behaved with her being a pup and also she is our first dog so never done this before but the picture updates really helped put me at ease! She can’t wait to come and play again! Thank you so much!
I left my dog Goober with Leah for doggy day care and I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog Goober received! He was clearly so happy spending the day with her, and she even surprised us by taking him to a farm where he got to meet other dogs and animals—what an amazing adventure for him. He felt completely at home at her place, and when we got back, he fell asleep immediately, completely content. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for loving, attentive, and fun care for their pets. 🐶
Our Labrador retriever was very happy to have a return visit to Leah's for an overnight stay this time. They are such a welcoming couple and kept us updated with photos from Unice's stay. I would thoroughly recommend Leah.

Schedule
I work full time however we can work from home 2 days a week if needed. I am also on flexitime so can work around you to pay your pup a visit. We can be very flexible with availability so just pop me a message to check.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced garden with a gate on the side of the house. Our downstairs is all open plan so we can keep an eye on them at all times. We are also a child/ baby and pet free house. Please let me know if you’ve got any questions☺️
A typical day
I know for most dogs ball is life, and so I guarantee I will play with them until they get tired, or at least until they get sick of me. I think it’s important to get them out and about whether that’s a stroll in the park or out for a coffee, providing you’re happy with this. There is a park at the end of our road with an open field and we’re happy to walk on and off the lead dependant on your pooch!
