“Professional, punctual and very personable. Bob took to Georgia straightaway. We felt very comfortable having Georgia in our home and very confident that she would take good care of Bob and she did! We will definitely be asking Georgia to care for Bob again in the future!”

“Sophia was so great with our cockapoo Tax, I was afraid that he might be a bit full on but Henri was so good with him. Sophia kept me updated about Tax and I felt really comfortable with him being in her care. I would definitely recommend.”

“Nat looked after our working cocker spaniel and Maltipoo for 2 nights recently. Nat kept us updated with assurances and photos and the dogs were clearly well looked after. She even left us some treats for when we returned which went down well. Thanks Nat - we will definitely be seeing you again in the future x”

About: I'm Nathan, 37 and from Lowton. I really do love all animals, but specialise in cats. I had dogs growing up but since being an adult have always had cats in my home. My day job in finance allows me to work from home and gives flexibility to spend time with my own cats, and look after other peoples furbabies too. I own two beautiful indoor Ragdolls - brother and sister - Toby and Luna who are 7. Toby has a sensitive stomach and requires weekly medication, and Luna has a beautiful (but long) coat which requires daily grooming to keep her looking stunning. I currently work from home, so can house sit and work from your house of needed. My partner can look after our 2 cats if I am pet-sitting. I have lots of experience in building rapport with dogs and cats. I tailor my approach to their personality and am adaptable to whatever environment I am in.
“Demi made us feel relaxed leaving our fur baby when we went away on holiday. Demi took wonderful care of our dog while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated, with the pup dates which gave us real peace of mind as we missed him so much. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after and enjoyed all the cuddles and playtime!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Demi to anyone looking for a fantastic dog sitter! I would highly recommend Demi to anyone, thank you so much! Xx”

“Victoria came to my house to look after my elderly border collie and cat. While on holiday I received regular updates from Victoria which reassured me that my pets were being looked after well, particularly my dog, Cuillin as she is very elderly and needed specific care. Victoria was lovely and kind and on returning to my home, it was how I had left it. I would highly recommend Victoria.”

About: Hi I love animals and for the last twenty years I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and fish. I have two rescue Greyhounds and have been volunteering for the Greyhound Trust and Home Run Hounds for 6 years. Prior to that I have volunteered for the RSPCA. I am currently completing an online course in dog behaviour and welfare. I have been a nurse for 30 years now working 9-5 Monday to Friday but with flexibility and my dream is to eventually work full time with animals. I'm currently working full time Monday - Friday (9-5) but there is plenty of time to help with animal care early morning, after 5pm and weekends. I volunteer at dog kennels 8-10.30am on Saturdays. I would not see fitting in animal care as a chore but instead a priveladge. Who doesn't love animal cuddles, obviously on their terms 🙂 My hope is to reduce my 9-5 nursing role and build up my animal care role. I have two rescue Greyhounds, one who is anxious and we are working on her reactivity which is through fear so at this time I am not offering home boarding however I am happy to come to you. Just let me know your routine and requirements and I will respect and work with you.

About: I helped raise Alfie, a Cockapoo, for two years with my ex, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in caring for and training a dog from a young age. I also regularly look after my boss’s Cockapoo, Lottie, and have cared for several friends’ dogs and cats while they’ve been on holiday — most recently Sandy the Cavapoo and Lucy the Cocker Spaniel. And Coco the cat. I’m confident when it comes to looking after dogs and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I love going on long walks, but also cuddling up on the sofa and relaxing. I work Monday to Friday in an office. Dogs are allowed into the office with me. I have weekends completely free. I enjoy walking and running. I have a decent sized garden with a gate and it is fenced off. My home is cosy and warm and welcome to all dogs. Hopefully lots of cuddles on the sofa!
“We couldn't have asked for a better house-sitter than Jordan. When he came to meet us and our dog, he was so polite and friendly, and clearly wanted to know all about her needs and routines. He provided lots of photos and updates throughout the time we were away. We got home to a very happy dog and a very clean and tidy house. He was extremely respectful of our home and attentive to our pet. We'd definitely ask Jordan to come and stay again! Highly recommend.”

About: About Me I’ve always shared my life with pets. From dogs and cats to guinea pigs, hamsters, and even parrots – my home has never been without a furry (or feathered) friend. Growing up in a family that truly loves pets, I learned early that every pet is unique. They aren’t just “pets.” They are family. My Philosophy I believe every dog has its own personality. Some are bold and adventurous, others are shy and gentle. Some love to run and explore, while others prefer a calm stroll and a good sniff along the way. That’s why I never use a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I take the time to get to know your dog–their mood, their energy level, their quirks, and their fears. I adapt each walk to their individual needs, so they feel safe, happy, and understood. I'm currently studying part-time at Warrington Royal College, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time during the day. Mornings, afternoons, and early evenings – I'm available when you need me most No rush, no tight deadlines – I can give your dog the time and attention they deserve Consistent availability – you can count on me week after week This isn't just a job for me – it's something I genuinely love, and my studies give me the freedom to do it properly. I'm happy to walk your pet wherever you feel most comfortable – whether it's your local park, quiet residential streets, or even just around your neighbourhood. For me, it's essential that you, as the owner, feel at ease and happy too. I understand that leaving your beloved pet with someone else can feel strange at first. That's why I always: Listen to your preferences and routines Stick to the routes you know and trust Send you updates and photos during the walk Respect your home and your pet's space Your peace of mind is just as important to me as your pet's happiness.
“Matty looked after our dog Dougie for the weekend while we were at a family wedding and it gave us peace of mind to know that he was being well looked after in his own surroundings as he suffers from anxiety. Matty is very polite and kept us updated how Dougie was doing. We would recommend Matty”

About: I’m a dog lover in Beckenham with 2 years of experience caring for furry friends. Your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and fun walks while staying in a warm, welcoming environment. I’ll treat them like part of the family! I work part-time from home and walk 10,000–15,000 steps daily, so your pet will have plenty of company and outdoor adventures with me. On weekends, my husband and I often drive to scenic spots for hikes, and if your dog loves that (and you approve), we’d happily bring them along! Your pet will never be left alone at my home, and I’ll ensure they receive daily walks and plenty of attention. I strictly follow all instructions from owners regarding feeding, training, and behavior to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

About: Hello, I'm Amber. I have owned cats all my life. I currently have a tabby cat, aged 13.And two Burmese indoor cats aged 4 and 1. We also have a new ginger kitten. I adore all animals and love playing with my cats. They all have individual personalities, that make them unique. I'm currently unemployed but sometimes go out in the days I'll be able to fit all the animals into my schedule day and night so I'll always be there to care for them I'll always ask for steps if you have any requirements while I'm there as I would want your pet to keep there routine that they already have and I'll stick to there schedule that they may follow day to day.
About: I have adored animals for as long as I can remember. I began volunteering as a cat cuddler and dog pen cleaner at an animal rescue center as a teenager. We always had cats in our home growing up. I worked in a pet store for three years and feel I gained much knowledge and insight in doing so. Unfortunately my partner is allergic to pet hair so we do not have our own pets at our house. To get my animal fix I have been a member of 'borrow my doggy,' where I have regularly walked a number of dogs over the years. I have been trusted to house sit for friends over the years and have cared for dogs, cats and donkeys! I currently work part time so have plenty of availability. I am an avid daily walker so can offer your dog whatever level of exercise they require. As mentioned, I do not board pets in our own home due to my partners allergies. However, I am organized, trustworthy and responsible and have house sat in others homes many times. I will follow your instructions rigidly in regards to the care requirements of your home and pets. House sitting will be done by myself only.
The median cost per night for house sitting in Warrington is £30
Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Warrington
Georgia did a great job of looking after our retriever Neville. He can be a sensitive soul and she took extra care to keep him comfortable during some thunderstorms. She kept us updated throughout the stay and we could see he was happy and well cared for. It was our first time using a sitter in our own home which gave us peace of mind knowing Nev would be more settled at home and Georgia and Matty left our house spotless. I’m sure Nev is looking forward to the next stay! Thanks so much 🐾

Sophia was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She stayed in our home for a couple of days to look after our dog, Albus, while we were away getting married, and knowing he was in such good hands meant we could completely relax and enjoy our wedding without worrying. When we came home, Albus was so happy and content, he actually spent time looking around the house for Sophia after she'd left! It was clear he'd been incredibly well cared for and had formed a lovely bond with her. On top of that, the house was spotless. In fact, it somehow looked even cleaner than when we left it. Sophia treated our home with genuine care and respect, and the whole experience was completely hassle free. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sophia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and conscientious pet sitter. We'll definitely be booking her again, and we're already hoping she's available for a couple of weddings we have planned next year. Thank you again, Sophia, you were amazing!

Gillian and Ronnie have been absolutely brilliant! I was very nervous as I’ve never left Lottie with anyone other than friends and family before, but they gave me full confidence from the first meeting - truly lovely people. The updates and pictures throughout her day were lovely. It was so comforting to know she was being well looked after in her own home. I would have no hesitation in having them take care of Lottie and my home again 💕 thank you so much!

I felt so comfortable leaving Kal with Naomi, she’s responsible and caring and looked after him amazingly. She asks lots of questions so if obvious she takes the responsibility very seriously. She sent lots of pics so I could relax knowing he was happy and being well cared for. Will book her again soon.

Katie-Ruth has just spent 5 days at our house looking after our 2 dogs. They were very well cared for, regular toilet breaks and walks. Katie-Ruth was very accommodating to my dogs needs.. They had fun an given the attention they love. Our house was left spotless and so was my garden. Lovely friendly an good service. Big thanks 😊

Thank you for taking such great care of Olly. This was a last-minute booking, and we really appreciated how accommodating and helpful you were. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Olly was in good hands. Olly seemed happy and well looked after when we got back. We’ll definitely be using Karys again and would happily recommend her to others. Once again thank you so much!

I highly recommend Bianca. She confirmed a time for arrival two days before the stay. Throughout the afternoon stay she sent regular updates/photos which was appreciated. When I arrived home Bianca gave an update on Hero. It was nice to be able to go out for a family occasion and be relaxed knowing Hero was being cared for. Thank you so much Bianca.

Matty & Georgia are a lovely couple who came to stay with our 4 dogs in our home. They have a great calming presence with the dogs and looked after them so well. We were thrilled to have found an amazing pet sitter who we can rely on. The dogs were very happy and Matty kept us updated throughout our trip. The house was also kept clean and tidy.
We can not speak highly enough of Stanislava! What an amazing human and really saved our day. Little puppy absolutely adored her, she kept us updated with pictures, messages and really went out of her way to be helpful. If i lived in the area, I would definitely have used her services each and every time. Thanks again!

Candice did an amazing job looking after our dog, Murphy, for two nights while we were getting married! It was our first time using Rover, and after reading all the great reviews, I knew he’d be in the right hands. Candice sent regular updates and photos of Murphy, which really helped put our minds at ease. Our home was left exactly as we’d left it too! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Candice 🫶🏻

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Warrington walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Warrington choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
