Peggy and Bob had just moved to the UK all the way from Canada and only had a few days to settle in to a new home after a long journey. Dana made them feel so comfortable while we were away for a wedding and had such great communication with us through the stay. She kept us updated on how they were doing and sent us lots of pics and videos which was so sweet and let us now they were in loving hands and we could relax and enjoy the wedding. About: I’m 18 years old and have grown up with 3 different dogs since I was 8 years old. Through my own personal experience with family dogs, I’ve gained plenty of confidence and independence from my responsibilities walking my dog, feeding, bathing, dog-proofing the house, playing, etc etc. I also have a strong knowledge of certain precautions you may need to take depending on the dog, for example my dog, Karmel, is an anxious, quite barky lurcher who can get too playful with other dogs and therefore I take extra care on walks when she’s saying hello at the dog park, and have dealt with aggressive dogs barking and jumping at her before. My family have also done borrow my doggy beforehand so I’ve met and looked after a range of different dogs, adding to my experience and knowledge of how to take care of them. I’m currently on a gap year so I’m almost fully flexible at the moment (I have some tutoring jobs), so pet care fits in perfectly for me as it’s something I’m genuinely passionate and excited about, and something I definitely have the time and love for! :) I would not be able to bring other pets into my home due to owning a dog myself that can be quite hot and cold with other dogs and therefore I don’t fully trust her getting along with a new dog in the house.
