About: I have owned both dogs and cats, more recently dogs but still regularly take care of of family members cats during holidays. I currently own my own small dog. Available hours are wed afternoons, Thursdays through to Sunday. Last minute bookings welcome. Dog walking and small pet car in your own home, including short drop in visits. I care for you pet/ pets in your own home offering 10 minute, 30 minute or 60 minute sessions. There I can offer food, let out for toilet breaks, play, cuddle or clean litter trays. I also do dog walking in 30 minute or 60 minute sessions.

Laura took amazing care of my young dog, Monte, for 11 days. Since he is still quite young, the first couple of days were a bit tough for him being away from me, but Laura took care of him just like her own dog. Monte had a blast playing with her dog, Arziel, and they became great friends. Laura took them out for walks twice a day and constantly sent me lovely photo updates from both their walks and around the house, which kept my mind completely at ease. Monte grew to love her so much that he was even cuddling up and sleeping on the couch! He returned home incredibly happy. James was fantastic from the moment we met him, he was reassuring about understanding both Louie and Fern and their different personalities. Both dogs loved him on the first meet and then ran in happy when we took them for their stay. James sent updates and pictures for both dogs while they stayed with him and this was very much appreciated/loved!! Couldn’t have asked for better and would happily book James again! George absolutely loved his stay with Katie. As he was staying for 10 days we did a meet and greet first and I could tell from then that he would be in great hands. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
