“Natalie stepped in last minute to look after our 3 cats when we were let down by our regular sitter. Fast to respond and very reliable. Even the timid one seemed to take to Natalie on her initial visit. We came home to a lovely clean area and happy cats! Thank you Natalie x”

About: Hi! I always had animals in my household, since I can remember. We had dogs, fish, hamsters, a parrot, a turtle and cats! When I was old enough to decide what animal I want to get, I got my first ferret! I currently have a dog, and until recently I had a cat. I have plenty of experience with administering medication to animals, as my dog had a medical condition. I have trained my dog from a puppy, and he is quite well trained and very friendly. I’m an outdoorsy person who loves and adventure, so your animals always will have a lot of play time and walks 🥰 Currently in a process of getting level 3 canine wealthare qualifications. I currently work a full time job, and as mentioned above have a dog. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday and have most weekends off. I have cameras set up around my flat to ensure your pup will be safe while I’m not there. Please message for more information I currently live in a flat, but there is a massive field but where I live, I do drive and I’m more than happy to take your doggies on a drive to go to their favourite spot! Ensuring that they are safely secured, I have a very friendly and socialised puppy to keep your dog company during walks and in general!

About: Dogs are humans best friends. Have been thinking for years to get my own dog but we like to travel and we wouldn’t want to leave it behind hence why we haven’t bought one yet. Through this app we have the opportunity to take care of doggos like they are our own and travel ! My partner - Philip, works from home so he normally walk the dogs in the morning and around lunch time. Your dog will have company during the day and in the evening I will be taking over for another walk and fun games. We have been doing these for friends and have told me to sign up on this app to help more people!! During the weekend we are both home and always plan to visit a beach or a park. So we wouldn’t mind the extra company. I have a fenced back yard. Also have a third bedroom where my partner works from with a sofa that your pet can chill on if they wanted to have company. During the night pets could sleep with us if they wanted to or sleep downstairs if they prefer to be alone. There is plenty of room in the house and instructions will be followed to ensure happiness for your pet and reduce separation anxiety from their owner. 💕
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I’ve been blessed to experience all different types of animals and all manners. Even the types that are Mr/Mrs grumpies. I will regularly walk, feed, bathe and consciously keep aware of time patterns(Regarding number 1s & 2s) so your home is squeaky clean. If I feel or know your dog/cat is “EXTREMELY” anxious, afraid, territorial and upset while I bathe them… Then I will completely stop. I won’t charge you. Well, I made a massive change in my life by becoming completely nomadic(lifestyle). It has been the best decision I have ever done, it’s brought me closer to nature and the present of appreciating the world (the little things) around me, and the most IMPORTANT thing…the acknowledgement that there is a God(Jesus Christ). I will ALWAYS come in a hygienic and respectable manner towards my clients. My clothing may appear rugged, heavily used and somewhat dirty, but I will absolutely NOT be(OCD). It’s because of the weather, altitude and hiking conditions. If I arrive on your doorstep with a big rucksack it is because.. it has my living essentials. It’s always been a dream of mine to do this, If I’m not in your area again. It’s because I’m travelling around the countryside. Godbless. I’m a non smoker, Completely teetotal, and if I arrive smelling of smoke(VERY Rarely). It is because I will be hiking around the country… sleeping out in nature, and bushcraft wild camping(etc). When I lived in a house.. I was company with two beautiful (feisty) Pomeranians, and an-over affectionate French bulldog. I did everything for them, they were my babies. Sadly I will miss them, so your pets will be my babies now.

About: Hi! I’m Finn, a long term dog owner with years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Alongside caring for my own dogs, I’ve also regularly walked and looked after dogs in my local area, building strong relationships with both pets and their owners. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and understand how important it is for owners to feel confident their pets are in safe, caring hands. Whether your dog enjoys energetic walks, playtime, or a calmer routine with lots of attention and affection, I’m happy to tailor care to their individual needs. I’m now looking to expand my dog walking and pet care services and would love the opportunity to care for more wonderful dogs. I’m reliable, patient, communicative, and committed to making every pet feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I’m here to give your pet reliable care, attention, and company while you’re busy with your 9–5. Whether that’s walks during the day, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and happy while you’re away. As a long time dog owner, I understand the importance of routine, patience, and trust. I’ll always treat your pet like my own and keep you updated throughout the day for complete peace of mind. I’m also very familiar with the local area and know some of the best and safest walking spots for dogs, whether your pet prefers longer energetic walks, quieter routes, or a more relaxed pace. My goal is always to provide a safe, enjoyable, and stress free experience for every dog in my care. I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable, safe, and relaxed as possible. I stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. I understand that every dog has a different personality and energy level, so I tailor my care to suit their individual needs, whether that’s active walks, mental stimulation, calm companionship, or extra patience with nervous dogs. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make sure they feel secure in their familiar environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos throughout the day. Safety is always a priority for me, and I only use trusted, safe walking routes and environments that are suitable for each dog.
About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and have cared for them since I was very young. Coming from a big family with many cousins who also owned dogs, I’ve had the chance to look after pets of all sizes and personalities. Over the years, I’ve house-sat for friends and family, caring for both dogs and cats — sometimes up to four dogs and a cat at the same time. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, and giving each pet the attention they need to feel safe and happy. I also have experience caring for sick dogs, including administering oral medication as part of their routine. I recently moved from Argentina to the UK to continue my medical career and I’m currently studying for my exams. This means I have a flexible schedule during the week and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. Looking after animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it’s the perfect way for me to stay active, de-stress, and earn a little extra while doing something I love. I can walk dogs regularly and also house sit in the owner’s home, making sure pets are happy, safe, and well looked after in their own familiar space. I follow each pet’s routine, whether that’s feeding, playtime, or medication if needed. My tenancy doesn’t allow pets in my own home, so I don’t host animals here, but I’d love to care for them in their own environment where they feel most comfortable.
“It's ok they do make mess at times, Teddy had a few markies this morning as I did try and feed them . But, Donald nicked his food, we have been to the vets about his behaviour again and waiting for a specialist. He has gone back to bulling and nicking teddy's food, so we are concerned. And, have been told to separate them when feeding but Ted won't eat when we do that, so we are in a no win situation. Just give him treats if he doesn't eat, if it persists we may have to consider rehousing Donald. Great job, thanks for doing your best.”

About: Hey! I’ve been taking care of dogs for about 6/7 years. Those just being family/friends and of course my own little best fur bud. I currently have a 9 year old frenchie so I do have some experience taking care of older dogs who might need a little more help. And I also have a 1 year old Border Terrier and we love learning new tricks so I’m also here to continue all of the training that you’re doing with you furry friend. I work from home every day and with a very flexible schedule (thank god for work phones) I am pretty much available all the time. I am free to pet sit at your home throughout the day, the beauty of being able to work from home. I can easily crate your dog if needed and have experience in administering medication. Love teaching a dog some new tricks also, especially if they’re a little puppy. Training is the best way to tire them out! If your furry friend loves other dogs, I have my Pablo to keep them company. We also love to go on long walks every weekend where we would love some friends to join us!

About: Fun fact: I had to learn basic commands in Spanish because I once dog sit a polyglot puppy lol A little about me: I’m a creative and designer originally from NYC - I love animals, the outdoors, and a nice Spotify playlist to carry me thru the Liverpool weather. I WILL stop to say hi to every animal I see (unless I’m walking your dog?) I’ve raised dogs, cats, rabbits and birds since I was 10 years old (yikes I actually can’t think of a single year in my life where I didn’t have a pet - finally a job I can say I have 20 years of experience on🥳). My first dog was a Doberman and I’ve since then gravitated towards raising and training large dogs, Rottweilers, GSDs, Mastiff breeds - I absolutely LOVE and adore them. Also big on small dogs, all dogs really (and cats). I’m really comfortable giving them meds as well (I’ve raised chronically ill dogs and cats). I’m currently the proud owner of three boy cats, a Maine Coon, a Russian blue, and a rescue Persian 💖 my boys are the light of my life. The only reason I don’t have a dog myself right now is because I travel a lot and need flexibility (sigh) Things I can do/would love to help with: - If you feed a speciality diet (like raw, happy to formulate and feed them - my cats are fed raw with supplement additions to balance their food) - Senior pets (special place in my heart for them) - I can help medicate if necessary - Vet visits if needed - Basic training (most of my dogs were trained in personal protection) - Drop in visits (I work from home so very comfortable doing these) - Dog or cat walks (my cats are harness trained and go on walks with me!) - Help spoil them (sorry not sorry) I’m self employed and work from home so my work is suuuuper flexible - I make my own schedule. I’m happy to hang out with your baby during the weekdays, or even over the weekend (I prefer to take it easy lol so I typically stay in - or will go out for walks). Happy to help take on any regular medications, crate timings, or command-based feeding etc. I’m super comfortable having raised personal protection and high-drive dogs. For cats, I don’t know man, cats are crazy (I have 3), I WILL go out of my way to accommodate their quirks (I love them 👉🏼👈🏼).
About: My whole life I’ve been caring for dogs and pets of all kinds, I’ve worked with everything from energetic puppies to calm senior dogs. I’m confident handling all breeds, sizes, and personalities — from playful Chows to gentle rescues. I have experience with basic obedience training, socialisation, and puppy routines, so your dog’s good habits will be kept consistent. Animals are genuinely my passion — I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them the same love, patience, and attention they get at home. What sets me apart? I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, quirks, and comfort zone. Whether it’s a shy pup needing slow introductions or a high-energy dog who loves long walks and playtime, I tailor every visit to what they need most. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine — I’m flexible, always available, and happy to take last-minute requests! Morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles — you name it, I can fit it in. I love keeping dogs active and happy throughout the day, and my schedule allows me to give them my full attention whenever you need me. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll be caring for your pet in your home, following your normal routines to keep things familiar and stress-free. I keep a close eye on gates, leads, and food safety at all times, and I’ll always send photo and video updates so you know your furry friend is safe and happy. I respect every home I enter — clean, careful, and trustworthy at all times.
“Molly was a great sitter, looked after my cat exactly the way I would have done it myself. I was always informed by text and photos, she was really professional. I hope to find her available next time when I travel as well, and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants their pets to be well looked after.”

Ria was fab with my two boys, they absolutely adored her. One of my boys has special requirements due to Kidney issues and she managed all his extra care amazingly!! I got regular updates and she was flexible when I needed extra visits. I would 100% rebook her in the future, she's the perfect cat Aunty 🐈⬛🐈❤️
Lucy took excellent care of Milo while we were away. She is very kind, friendly, and clearly loves animals❤️❤️. She kept us updated after every visit, which gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our holiday. Milo’s food bowls and litter tray were always spotless, and when we returned home, Milo was healthy, relaxed, and very happy. It was obvious that he had been very well looked after.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I would highly recommend Lucy to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter.❤️❤️❤️

Nicola looked after my cat Gizmo for 10 days recently and she was amazing. She sent me a message and photos of Gizmo every day. Gizmo was perfectly cared for and happy. Nicola is lovely and friendly and professional and came to meet us first. I would definitely request her services again in the future. Thank you so much Nicola.
Very friendly and experienced in pet care! She took care of Morty for two weeks and kept me updated each step of the way. Extremely nice and responsible, she kept me updated even for a few minute delays over the agreed times. Strongly recommend and will definitely reach out again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
