We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Emma. She popped in to our house for three days while we were away for the weekend in Prague, and after recently moving to St Helens and not knowing many people locally yet, we were a bit nervous about leaving our 10-year-old cat daughter, Sasha Fierce. Emma completely put our minds at ease from day one. She followed every instruction perfectly, took lovely photos each visit, and sent a detailed Rover card every day with little updates about how Sasha was doing. It was so reassuring to see those messages come through – you can really tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. Sasha was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after when we got home, which says everything. Emma was reliable, thoughtful, and just overall brilliant. We’ll 100% be booking her again when we’re in Cyprus in June. Highly recommend!

It's ok they do make mess at times, Teddy had a few markies this morning as I did try and feed them . But, Donald nicked his food, we have been to the vets about his behaviour again and waiting for a specialist. He has gone back to bulling and nicking teddy's food, so we are concerned. And, have been told to separate them when feeding but Ted won't eat when we do that, so we are in a no win situation. Just give him treats if he doesn't eat, if it persists we may have to consider rehousing Donald. Great job, thanks for doing your best.

Natalie stepped in last minute to look after our 3 cats when we were let down by our regular sitter. Fast to respond and very reliable. Even the timid one seemed to take to Natalie on her initial visit. We came home to a lovely clean area and happy cats! Thank you Natalie x

Kylie is very friendly and easy to communicate with. She updates me every time she visits. My cats urinated on the floor, making a mess at home. Kylie spent a lot of time to help me clean it up.

About: I work full-time as a professional dog walker and pet sitter, and caring for animals is something I genuinely love. My experience with dogs began while I was at university, where I regularly walked retired racing greyhounds, giving me valuable experience with different temperaments, energy levels, and individual needs. I pride myself on being reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking, always going the extra mile to provide the highest standard of care for every pet. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well looked after while they're away. For added peace of mind, I hold an enhanced DBS check, a Pet First Aid certificate, comprehensive pet care insurance, and a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma. I am committed to providing a professional, caring, and dependable service, treating every pet as if they were my own. I currently work part-time with early finishes through the week and have both Fridays and Saturdays free to look after your fur babies. I am more than happy for you to enquire about any services not listed and I am flexible as to the care of your animals- I will try my best to fit you in as and when I can always. When visiting your pet in your home, I will always follow the rules and routines we have discussed prior to offer you peace of mind and keep your pet as relaxed and happy as possible whilst you are away. If we are on a particularly long walk or I am minding your dog for a day or more we may visit my home where I have my own dog, providing your dog gets along with others. I have a secure garden and pet care facilities.

About: I've had numerous pets since before I could remember my mum has a habit of taking in strays. From dogs to rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, snakes, ferrets, fish, mice and even our 98 year old tortoise. I'm pretty good at training puppies and I can do senior care as we had our rottweiler til she was 14 and I helped out loads. I am very nurturing as I have been a carer for my mum and sister and for my nan as well before she passed. Currently I have a lurcher called Jeff and two kittens Dante and Damien. As well as a tegu called friyja and a snake called neala and of course the 98 yr old tortoise chigley I am a carer for my mum but happy to pet sit as long as I can keep in contact with my mum and make sure she's okay. I have a pretty flexible schedule but would appreciate notice of changes. I will always keep an eye on your pet making sure they have food and water and are let out to go to the bathroom enough and also make sure they have a bit of playtime as well and if you have your pets on walking schedules I will assist with that as well.

About: Hi I love animals and for the last twenty years I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and fish. I have two rescue Greyhounds and have been volunteering for the Greyhound Trust and Home Run Hounds for 6 years. Prior to that I have volunteered for the RSPCA. I am currently completing an online course in dog behaviour and welfare. I have been a nurse for 30 years now working 9-5 Monday to Friday but with flexibility and my dream is to eventually work full time with animals. I'm currently working full time Monday - Friday (9-5) but there is plenty of time to help with animal care early morning, after 5pm and weekends. I volunteer at dog kennels 8-10.30am on Saturdays. I would not see fitting in animal care as a chore but instead a priveladge. Who doesn't love animal cuddles, obviously on their terms 🙂 My hope is to reduce my 9-5 nursing role and build up my animal care role. I have two rescue Greyhounds, one who is anxious and we are working on her reactivity which is through fear so at this time I am not offering home boarding however I am happy to come to you. Just let me know your routine and requirements and I will respect and work with you.

About: While our house isn’t huge, we have a secure fenced garden and are very close to a lovely park, so dogs will still get lots of exercise and outdoor time. We know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and we’d treat your dog as one of our own — with love, patience, and plenty of attention. We’re a loving family of four who genuinely miss having a dog in our home after sadly losing our beloved dog TJ last year at the age of 15½. TJ was part of our family from puppyhood through to his senior years, so we understand the patience, care, and attention dogs need at every stage of life — especially older dogs who may need extra support and gentleness. In his later years, TJ was blind and unsteady on his feet, so we became very experienced in creating a calm, safe, and comforting environment for him. Caring for him taught our daughters kindness, patience, and how important pets are as family members. Our cat Stanley absolutely adored TJ — they were best friends — and since TJ passed away, Stanley has definitely missed having a dog around the house. Both myself and my partner (Paul) work from home full time, meaning your dog will rarely be left alone and will get plenty of attention, company, cuddles, and toilet breaks throughout the day. We also have two caring daughters aged 10 and 8 who love animals and enjoy helping with walks, playtime, and giving lots of affection. We have a fenced back garden that is accessible throughout the day and also live close to Victoria Park which is perfect for walking dogs! For dogs that don't mind car rides, we love taking trips to the beach and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise. We will always follow your routine for feeding.

About: Animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a range of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I’ve regularly looked after my nan’s dog for extended periods of time, as well as caring for my dad’s cat while he’s been away. Having owned 2 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs myself, I understand the importance of patience, routine, attention and making pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m reliable, caring and will always treat your pets like they’re my own!🥰 I work part-time, which means I can give your pets plenty of time, attention and care whilst fitting around my flexible schedule. I’m usually available most weekdays depending on my work rota, which I receive monthly, so can plan bookings in advance with you. I also work every other weekend, so I have full availability on my weekends off for longer stays and visits. This pattern actually works really well, as it gives me plenty of free time to focus on your pets when I’m available🐾🤎 I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable and well cared for. I stick closely to their usual routines, keep their environment clean and calm, and give lots of attention so they feel secure when their owners are away. I’ve cared for a family dog multiple times in the past, I always follow a set routine of feeding, daily walks, garden playtime, and baths if needed after messy walks🦴🐾✨

About: I grew up with 4 cats and 2 Labradors in my family, this sparked my compassion for animals. I adore playing, training, and most importantly making sure they have everything they need such as enough sleep, the right nutrition, enrichment and exercise! Presently, I am the owner of a Labrador puppy (and a cute elderly hamster)! She is incredibly well behaved, extremely well trained and always happy - this did not go without lots of highs and lows 😂. If you choose me to walk or look after your pet I will not disappoint. I am positive I will be able to give your dog anything it needs. I am able to handle large, strong breeds and I am also experienced with reactive dogs and how to train them. I am currently a postgraduate Student Doctor at the University of Liverpool meaning I have free time when most people are working! I am available intermittently during week days and available most weekends. I have a large fenced garden where my Labrador puppy loves to play and forage for food! She gets an amazing variety of exercise and training including tug of war, fetch, heel and recall work, and lots more enrichment. Our puppy also has specific nap times after a large meal or exercise which hugely helps dog behaviour as well as limiting any problems with digestion.

About: I was brought up in a house with a dog before the days of internet. He was a rescue and I spent many days playing with him, training and taking him for walks. Some of my best childhood memories were with my first dog, Max. My family also owned dogs of all different shapes and sizes and they were rescues too. I’ve never lived in a house without a dog. I recently lost my 15 year old Pomeranian who was my first dog I owned myself as an adult, I had her from a puppy to an old lady. Currently now I have two dogs, a 4 month old and a one year old. People actually call me ‘dog mad’. Holidays with my family always include my dogs, we recently got into camping. My close family members also have dogs so when we get together every week the dogs enjoy a playtime together. Also with the job I do I visit a lot of homes with dogs. I tend to say hello to the dogs before my customers! I’m mad on pets and encourage my children to be also, we currently own fish too. But we’ve had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters in the past. I also tend to care for my neighbours African grey when they go away. I am self employed and my husband works shifts so my own dogs are never alone for long. I work my own diary so I can be flexible when needed. My dogs have free rein of my house and garden. Our garden is safe and secure in a quiet neighbourhood. My dogs are never left alone for more than 4 hours maximum.
