“Aaliyah was great with communication on the lead up to the visits and sent us plenty of updates and pictures of our fur babies whilst we were away! Would 100% recommend her services 😊”

About: I have owned animals since I was a child from guinea pigs to cats to dogs. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat and a rabbit. My dog is a husky so I am used to getting out walking daily. I am available all day for drop ins and walks. I own a husky who is very kind and gentle, she gets along with other dogs but can be left at home if it is an issue. I love long walks as well as short ones and plenty of play time. I have a very big secure back garden which is great for the dogs running around or relaxing in. I have a very small for her age husky who gets along with other dogs with no issues.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, currently sharing my bed with springer spaniel named Frida. Also love cats - always looking after them when my friends are going on holiday Currently on maternity leave, enjoying time with my baby who would have to join me for all adventures I’m having. Would be awesome if my springer can come too. I am a happy springer spaniel owner, understanding the needs of working breeds, always prioritising their safety and owners requirements- if dog can be trusted off the lead or not.
About: I will look forward to looking after your pet and wouldn’t want you to worry while you are away. I will send you lots of photos and videos as I know I would love to receive them myself. As well as having experience with lots of pets my dog has had a litter of puppies which I looked after from birth I loved this experience and Perdy was the best mummy I litter trained them all so they did wee wees out side by the time they left us at 10 weeks. I can also look after your fish, Guinea pigs and rabbits I would also like to have a meet up first to make sure your dog likes us and we feel comfortable looking after them. Preferably at my house if it’s boarding or yours if it’s dropping in. Also a trial sleep over if they are staying for more than 3 nights I have recently been inspected by my local council and now have my dog boarding license . This doesn’t change how I look after your dogs Just means I’ve been approved 😊 I am home all of the time apart from the occasional school run for my grandchildren So I am lucky enough to spend lots of time with your dogs My daughter lives near by with her cockapoo. We see her most days for walks. Dogs I regularly look after are cockapoos. Shitzu, sausage dogs spaniels, terriers, and many more mainly small breeds. I have cat sat in peoples homes visiting up to 3 times a day I have a secured garden for your dog to play in with my dog Lots of walks nearby where they can go off lead if this is ok with you I can crate at night or not which ever is your preference. I have learned this year no two dogs are the same so I am very willing to listen to you for your dogs needs and hopefully make them feel at home with us 😊

“I've never turned to a cat sitter before. Courtney is local to me and had availability, so made it an easy choice. I'm so glad I, and Percy, chose Courtney. She came round for introductions and got on well with Percy. Courtney has a lovely temperament and did a great job of looking after Percy. We will be hiring again.”

About: Having had pets all my life and caring for a wide variety of animals, I now want to offer my experience to others. Pet care is easy to find, but finding the right pet care — care that truly suits you and meets your best friend’s individual needs — can feel much harder. Having struggled myself to find the right care for my senior, diabetic dog, I understand how important trust, patience, and attention to detail really are. I understand worries about medication schedules, routines, and whether your pet will receive the same level of care and understanding that you provide at home. This experience inspired me to offer a pet sitting service built around compassion, reliability, and tailored care. I treat every animal as an individual, taking time to understand their personality, health needs, and routines, so you can feel confident they are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for whilst in my care. As I work from home, I am flexible in terms of your times and specific needs. I will eventually offer a boarding service which will consist of a dedicated space for your cat. I will care for your pet as if they were my own, always prioritising their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. Before any booking, I arrange a meet‑and‑greet to ensure I fully understand both your pet’s individual needs and your expectations. I treat every home with the utmost respect and care, recognising that I am being welcomed into your personal space. By taking time to build trust quickly with both you and your pet, I aim to ease any feelings of worry or anxiety while you’re away. If desired, I am happy to provide regular photo and video updates with each drop‑in visit, offering you peace of mind and reassurance.

About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.
“Caroline is fantastic ? I have no hesitation in recommending her and indeed have. Caroline was able to be very flexible for me over some very difficult circumstances when my dad was dying. I can't thank or praise Caroline enough. Thank you x”

About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!
“Jasmine came to see out muttlies the evening before the actual booking. It was a last minute booking and Jasmine kindly agreed after we had been let down by another dog walker. She was absolutely lovely with them yesterday. She has turned up on time tonight and has informed us of all that they have done tonight. Thank you Jasmine. I can’t rate you highly enough and would fully recommend you to anyone and we would definitely use you again. Xx”

“Emma was a fantastic cat sitter, she was warm, welcoming and friendly. Emma come to meet Simba before hand and built a rapport with him to make the first visit easier. Nothing was ever to much trouble for Emma. Emma is trustworthy, reliable and was great with Simba. I'll definitely book with Emma again! ”

About: I’ve looked after a dog for 6 years now and in that time we’ve have lots of adventures exploring local trails and hills, and day trips up to the Lake District. Safety is vital and proper handling is important to allow our furry friends to have fun. I’m currently unemployed and looking to take on some Rover activities to bridge a gap before my next role. I’ll also be continuing this as a part time activity once employed full time, with a focus on taking pets on adventures at a weekend. I am sensible and can easily care for your dog in your own home, following whatever routine and behaviours you give to your furry friend.
About: I’m a 21 year old Veterinary Medicine student in her 2nd year of Vet school. I take pride in making sure animals are healthy and happy whilst in my care. Alongside this I’ve studied an animal management BTEC course and got a grade of D*D*D*. I have a wide range of work experience alongside animals including doggy day cares, farm settings and pet shops and I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals. :) Due to university I am only available during weekends to care for your animal. During the weekends I’m available day and night. But I’ll be available more during the summer to fit around your schedule to look after your animal day and night :) I live in a bungalow so is ideal for geriatric pets and I have no other free range animals in the house. I do own a variety of reptiles but they’re kept separated and won’t bother or pose a risk to your animals. I have a fenced garden with grass which is secure and safe.
