About: I have had a strong interest in all animals since being young. I regularly cared for family & neighbours pets from being a child. I now own four rabbits, a hamster, a turtle, fish and a 7 month old puppy named Ralph! Happy to deal with any training and care needs as I regularly train my own puppy and administer medication for my rabbits. My partner Lewis and I have opposite shift work so there is always somebody available. Caring for animals is my passion and I will enjoy the company. We can work around your needs to make it work for you. Happy owner, happy pet! I have a fenced garden and a sociable and friendly dog, so your dog always has a play mate. I have a spare bedroom that includes a crate so we can create a safe space for your dog if needed. I have a field close by and if your dog is not great with recall we have long leads available so they can get the exercise they need. With guidance from you, I would be happy to help with training and socialising your dog to keep them in a routine as much as possible.

About: Hi, I'm Tracey, a lifelong dog and cat lover with years of hands-on experience caring for furry companions of all shapes and sizes. I offer pet sitting and walking services where your pet will receive plenty of love, cuddles, and attentive care. I live on a very quiet and safe estate called Holland House in Walton le Dale that's free from hustle and bustle ideally placed to be local for many surrounding areas spanning anywhere south of Preston... to Chorley and many places in between. Living where I do I'm spoilt for choice with places to go for walks long and short and have the added benefit of a local woods within a stone's throw from home. From experience I understand the importance of maintaining routines and giving your pet the necessary level of attention to feel happy and safe while you're away. Having adopted from rescue I understand some pets are more sensitive and like quiet spaces and as I don't have any pets of my own I can always offer a really calm environment. Sadly I said goodbye to my last two cherished companions in recent years: Cookie, my sweet 12-year-old Chihuahua who passed away in April 2024, and Baxter, a lovable crossbreed rescue from the RSPCA who lived an amazing 17 years before passing in 2022. These incredible pets filled my life with joy, and while I can’t currently have pets of my own due to work commitments, I miss the companionship and joy that they bring so I'd love to provide a safe, caring, kind, and loving environment for your furry friends while you're away. I also have the pleasure of being a proud "grand pup" sitter occasionally for my two son's dogs — Winston, a playful French Bulldog, and Bailey, a sweet Shih Tzu. Caring for them has only deepened my love for looking after pets and understanding their unique personalities. Additional Note: I'm DBS‑checked (Enhanced) — as my professional background is in Education. I work full-time Mon-Thu so available for sitting for your pets all day/night Fri-Sun. I also work in education so, as my profile indicates, predominantly able to accommodate periods of school closures as well as weekends. I live in quiet cul-de-sac so free from main roads/traffic noise and passers by. The garden is 100% secure and have no adjoining gardens with any pets. Our estate is large and has a local woods with river giving lovely local walks. I'm lucky to live within a stones throw if all major motorways so can travel to many surrounding towns and villages easily if booked for pet sitting at your own home. Any pet in my care is treated as if they were my own so rest assured I'd be giving the love, kindness and attention you'd expect for them.
About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I am a mature student completing my research degree and have plenty of time to fit pets into my routine. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.
