About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. From looking after my own pup to family and friends’ pets to helping out with neighbours’ dogs, I’m the person people trust when their four-legged friends need a little extra care. 🐶 I’m reliable, caring and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, so looking after them never feels like a chore to me! I work from home a couple of days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility around my schedule. I’m also very flexible in the evenings and at weekends, so I can usually work around you and your dog’s routine. I have a secure, dog proof garden where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime, as well as plenty of space to relax indoors. I also have my own dog, who is super friendly and used to being around other dogs. I’ll always make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe and settled in my home.

About: I have had cats since I was little, adopting them from friends, the RSPCA or relatives. I have also owned rabbits, and dogs, in the past as an adult. My dog experience includes an excitable Border Collie, a happy-go-lucky mixed breed and a fun-loving German Shepherd. I do miss dog walks and dog cuddles, but currently one of my adopted senior cats isn't keen on dogs so I am currently a dog free house! I have looked after pets since I was about 5 or 6 so have nearly 50 years experience with animals.I work from home so if you have wifi and need a sitter in your home, I can be in most of the day with your pet. I love walking dogs on or off lead and I am happy to go with the personality of your pet, whether that's a cat that likes their own space, or a dog who wants cuddles and long outdoor walks. As for my cats, they have my Mum to look after them when I am away, so I can do overnight or longer stays. I work in education, have a car, flexibility on dates/times and I will look after your pet as if they are my own, sending lots of photos and updates. I work Monday-Friday in term-time, and work from home, with occasional meetings outside my home, depending on schedule. I usually get up, feed my cats, have breakfast, start work at 8 and if I'm in a Teams meeting online, try to keep my cats from coming into shot or stepping all over my keyboard! Sometimes I might need to do an external visit or meeting, but if so then I am back home within 1-2hrs. At tea time the cats get fed again. At the weekends my cats have to wait a little longer for breakfast if I have a lie-in. At home I have a fenced-in garden, a cat flap and litter trays. I also have a small park 5 mins walk away where I used to walk my dogs, and a larger one 10 mins drive away. I live in a very quiet cul de sac.

I have always had a love for animals and would be excited to have the opportunity to provide your animals with the care they deserve. I am a reliable and kind person. About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I am a mature student completing my research degree and have plenty of time to fit pets into my routine. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

About: I have grown up with different types of dogs, big small or medium. In the past, we (my family) have had two English Bull Terriers, a Pug, Shar Pei, Bichon Frise, and many more throughout the family. I do love a good cuddle and would be happy to keep your dog entertained. I work from home Monday-Friday 9-5:30pm and could do with getting on my feet and burning some calories. I work from home Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm so I am able to look after your pet before, after or during my shift. Happy to take my work laptop with me wherever. I do have a garden but one of our fences is off. One of my cats does go out now and again but he will only stay nearby. I mostly stay in the living room whilst I am working on my laptop but do keep an eye on them to make sure that they're safe and happy.

About: I have had a dog most of my life and love spending time with all sorts of dogs. I have lots of patience and I am calm in stressful situations Currently I only work 2 and a half days a week so have plenty of time to look after your fury friends! About: I’ve always loved animals since I can remember, I was the kid holding the cat on all the photos and outside with the dog at parties! Numerous friends and family have trusted me with their pets over the years and I’ve loved having them all. Last year after buying my own house I realised my lifelong dream of getting a puppy, he’s my world so I understand the importance of trusting your family member to someone to be cared for. We also had two hours rabbits who lived until ten and Hugo adored them. My job has enabled me to socialise him with all kinds of dogs and people since he was 10 weeks old, he’s the sweetest boy and loves any play mate. While in my care I will treat your companion as if they’re my own with full access to the house and garden, with regular toilet breaks and walks. I also have a downstairs bathroom which enables me to easily bath anybody who’s been having too much fun in the mud. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and will follow any specific instructions given to provide you with the best piece of mind when you leave your companion with us.if you have specific requests or times needed please don’t hesitate to ask me directly and I’ll help out where i can I work full time but within the animal care industry so understand the importance of routine. Morning walks and toileting are possible and lunchtime visits, then I usually get home around 4/4:30 so another walk evening time is always on the cards. As described I do have a dog within my household, he I an intact male but the softest boy. He has never shown any domination on any setting and has lots of male and female friends. If I’m my home your dog would have vip access to any area and I can also provide a place for a crate if that’s how they’re most comfortable. If asking me to stay in your home I would ask you to be aware I would need to bring Hugo with me so this may not be suitable for everyone. However we have done this successfully in the past.

About: I have owned animals since I was a child from guinea pigs to cats to dogs. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat and a rabbit. My dog is a husky so I am used to getting out walking daily. I am available all day for drop ins and walks. I own a husky who is very kind and gentle, she gets along with other dogs but can be left at home if it is an issue. I love long walks as well as short ones and plenty of play time. I have a very big secure back garden which is great for the dogs running around or relaxing in. I have a very small for her age husky who gets along with other dogs with no issues.

About: I used to be scared of dogs when I was younger, we only had cats, then my mum married a man with 3 retired greyhounds! Because of their calm temperament, I learnt to love not only them, but all dogs. I have had a handful of different dogs in my life, from Greyhounds to Collies, to Staffies to Cavapoos. Each of them filled my life with joy and purpose, I really feel so much happier and at peace around animals. Since moving to the city, I can't keep pets at my flat so i am actively searching for a way to get my fix! I can promise you if you let me look after your companion in any way, they will be shown nothing but love and care. I've also owned cats since the day I was born, there's pictures of me asleep with cats in my cot. I find cats so relaxing to be around, I love hearing the sound of them purring and I find it hilarious when they get a sudden burst of energy or start shouting at you. I would be honoured if you would consider me for any tasks you require for your furry member of the family! It would be a privilege and an honour! I work in a coffee shop in Preston so usually I'm out of the house by 7:40. Then, it's a few hours of chatting with customers and occasionally actually doing my job. But when we get pets in I'm even less inclined to make coffee... I'm usually home by 15:30-16:00 and I spend the rest of my evening working on my radio bulletins for a local station. It's important to note that if you need me for the whole or a specific day it's very easy to schedule time off at the last minute as the rota isn't released until Sunday, so just let me know! At my home, my dogs rarely go a minute without me trying to play with them or show them affection, unless they've made it clear they aren't interested!I wont be able to care for your pets at my flat as it's too small an environment for them, however if you trust me enough to look after them in your/their safe space, I will ensure that no boundaries are crossed for you or your fur baby. In previous dog sitting arrangements, I've either stayed in the spare room so i'm with them 24/7 or driven there to spend an hour or two with them a few times throughout the day, Whatever you think is best.
