About: I love looking after, walking and playing with dogs too, I have cared for family and friends dogs when they have been on holiday. I have looked after a variety of dog breeds, for example: Dobermans, German pointers and Labradors. I'm currently working full time, from 8am to 3:45pm latest, Monday to Saturday. I am available evenings and all day Sunday. I would happily drop in and ensure your animals have cuddles, play time and anything they need, that you usually do, to ensure they stay relaxed and happy. I have 2 savannah cats that love play time, they have a secure outdoor catio with a cat wheel. I have great experience with sassy, playful cats, those that prefer quiet spaces or require lots of cuddles and play time. I love looking after, walking and playing with dogs too, I have cared for family and friends dogs when they have been on holiday. I have looked after a variety of dog breeds, for example: Dobermans, German pointers and Labradors.

Jane has been amazing, she took care of my cats on such short notice. She sent daily pictures of my fur babies and kept my mind at ease while on holiday. When I got back, all my cats had been taken care of very well, would definitely recommend to anyone. Will be using Jane again in the future :)

About: Hi !! I love animals and love taking care of them, and I would love to play with every dog/cat in the world if I could !! I have always had at least 3 animals at home, currently we have 4 cats and 1 dog. I have pet sat before for family and friends including house visits, toilet breaks, feeding time, and playing time too. I have always loved looking after animals and get a long with all of them. I’m currently in y13 at blackpool sixth form, finishing my exams at the end of June. I work part time at the Tavern At The Mill in Thornton, and love to spend my free time doing random side quests anywhere and everywhere. I have a fenced garden, as well as a german shepherd called Dexter who is super friendly and loves to meet new dogs and make friends. I have 4 cats who sometimes aren’t too keen on Dexter but they keep their distance, sometimes they even tolerate him ! My house is very spacious and our back garden big with the majority of it being grass, great for a quick toilet break !

Caley is a fantastic person to look after your cat. She is a natural with our cat, Atlas, who absolutely adores her! Caley fed Atlas and thoroughly cleaned up after as well. She also played with Atlas and gave her lots of affection. We loved all the photos and videos, we looked forward to them every day. It’s very reassuring to know Atlas is having a better time than us!

Writing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A review from Cori, Angus & Gizzy 🐾😻 We would like to officially confirm that Eliska has passed our very strict kitty inspection with flying colours! 😹 She is super professional, polite, well-mannered and, most importantly, knows exactly how to keep three demanding kitties happy! 😻😻😻 Our meals are served, our litter trays are taken care of, we get plenty of playtime, attention and grooming, and Eliska always makes sure all three of our individual needs are met. Basically, we’ve trained her very well! 😂🐾 Our Human Mum and Dad absolutely love receiving the Rover cards and photos after every visit — apparently they like checking up on us while they’re away. We, of course, are far too busy posing for the camera and enjoying all the attention! 📸😹 Eliska also goes above and beyond and is always very accommodating when our humans need to make adjustments to our visits. We feel completely happy and comfortable with her looking after us — although we may now be slightly disappointed when our humans come home and Eliska stops visiting! 😂❤️ 100% highly recommended by all three of us! 👌😁 Lots of purrs, head bumps & paw prints, Cori, Angus & Gizzy 😻🐾😻🐾😻❤️

I have had my cat Lola for 12 years and when I have been away on holiday have always been able to rely on family to pop in and see to her. This time all the family were away together and so somebody suggested using Rover. I was very apprehensive for not only being able to rely on them coming but also having a stranger in my home. When I went through the possible sitters I came across Caroline. Her profile looked good and so I made contact. Caroline replied straight away and said she is available for the times and days I needed. She offered to come to my home the day before with no extra cost. When she arrived I was very nervous but Caroline put me at ease straight away telling me how much she loves cats and has them of her own. She was very well presented and really sweet natured. She asked to meet Lola and Lola, who is normally very shy and will run and hide from new people allowed me to pick her up and she made contact with Caroline. Caroline asked to be shown where all her food and bedding is and asked to be told of any possible hiding spots. She asked lot's of detailed questions about her needs and routines. Caroline agreed to the times best to visit the home and she ensured me that the doors and windows will always be checked for security. Caroline has such a sweet nature and I felt instantly at ease. Throughout my holiday I had a text from Caroline each morning and night and a full report of what herself and Lola had been getting up too. She ensured me that she had eaten all her food and had topped up her water. The best part of the service is Caroline sent me pictures and it was amazing to see how happy and content she looked in Caroline's company. After her last visit Caroline left the key and messaged me to to say how lovely Lola is and would be more then happy to have her again. Initially, I was very nervous about this but I would 100% use Caroline again and I know Lola would love to see her again. I have recommended Caroline to my friends and family and have been very happy with the service I received. Caroline is very much the cat lady who clearly loves spending time with animals and she did a fantastic job in ensuring me that the home and Lola were both safe which meant I had a lovely and relaxed time away. There is nothing I would change about the service she provided. And to top it all off when I got home Caroline sent me a video reel of their time together and it shows Lola interacting with Caroline which is something that Lola does not do with many people so she clearly has the magic touch. Thank you Caroline and I look forward to working with you again. xx

About: What truly sets me apart is that caring for dogs isn't just a part-time job for me this is my lifetime passion. My journey with dogs started when I was 12 years old with our family dog, whom I loved, walked, and adored for 16 wonderful years. Raising a dog into his twilight years gave me firsthand, invaluable experience in senior dog care. I understand the gentle patience, pace adjustments, and extra attention that older dogs need to stay comfortable and safe. In addition to caring for my family dog and regularly walking my nan’s energetic Jack Russells, I am now a proud pet parent to my own 3-year-old Miniature Dachshund, who is my absolute world. Raising her from a puppy has given me deep experience in young pet care, including managing breed-specific needs, understanding puppy energy, and maintaining consistent routines. I am fully committed to providing the highest level of reliable, attentive, and loving care. I treat every single dog as if they were my own, ensuring they return home safe, happy, and thoroughly loved. Im currently working part time as a carer which i have done for 9 years now, but i am hoping to make this my full time job looking after dogs, i can do early mornings, afternoon and evenings. To ensure the comfort and safety of your pets, Paws on the Move operates exclusively outside of my own home. I do not host dogs at my property; instead, I specialise in providing top-tier care exactly where your dog feels happiest and most secure in their own familiar environment and out on their favourite local routes.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Wyre pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wyre choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
