“As someone who never used dog boarding before, we were initially very reluctant and anxious. Our pets have been our family for years, most especially our senior dog (who’s 13 yrs old-he’s been with us since he was a pup), there was that fear, even thinking about the idea but because its necessary, we just have to do it. We are very thankful that James and Jane really took care of Pierre and Zaki. James is reassuring and made us feel confident that there isn't anything to worry about. He kept us updated and was responsive all throughout Pierre and Zaki’s stay. We are glad we got to the right sitters the first time and we do recommend them in anyone’s future pet services.”

“Absolutely perfect boarding experience, lovely family, plenty of photos and updates! Max was playing with the little girl in the garden and went on a long walk! He’s been fast asleep since I picked him up, he didn’t want to leave, bless him! Would definitely recommend this sitter! Thank you so much xx”

“Thank you to Sarah and her family for doing such a good job of caring for my (very needy!) dogs. I think they were actually said to be coming home as they enjoyed all the attention and cuddles!! Would recommend Sarah and her family to anyone and will definitely be using again! X”

“Dylan has stayed with Catherine on several occasions and he is always well cared for. Trust Catherine completely and he is there again soon for another four nights.”

“Great communication before and during booking. Felt happy leaving our dogs with Lisa and the dogs came back looking like they had a great time. Recieved pictures of the pups while we were away which I loved. They looked happy and content 😍 Would highly recommend and book again. Thank you”

“We couldn't be happier with the care our dog received. From the moment we met Melissa, it was clear she genuinely love animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after when we collected him. It was reassuring to know he was being treated like part of the family rather than just another booking. We would highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy – we wouldn't hesitate to use your services again in the future.”

“Fabulous as usual. Angus is very accommodating, I had to call @ short notice , and had no hesitation Angus makes Fred feel like he is one of the family. He has a marvellous time and I am kept updated with photos and texts. Fred is content and sleepy when I collect him , sign of a enjoyable time and I know he was well looked after with love and care. Highly recommend. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Angus every time Thank you so much Angus”

“Lauren and her husband looked after my dog Ozzie for the day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I met Lauren, she made me feel completely at ease, especially as it was the first time I’d ever left Ozzie with someone who wasn’t family. They took him on plenty of walks and kept me updated throughout the day, which was really reassuring. It was clear he was being well looked after and having a great time. When I picked him up he came back happy and tired – always a good sign! I’m so grateful for the care they gave him, and Ozzie can’t wait to come back again. I would definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.”

“We felt really comfortable leaving Bronte with Lesley and Howard. Lesley sent photos of his stay which was very reassuring. The meet and greet beforehand is brilliant. Lesley writes down all details of Bronte’s needs and ways. It gave us confidence that he would be safe and well looked after, which proved to definitely be the case. We would highly recommend Lesley to look after your much loved dog. Brilliant!! Many thanks.”

About: I have had dogs all my life, we love them, my daughter has a Cockerpoo who regularly comes to stay and we love him!He is our Grand Dog😂 We had 3 dogs all at the same time at one point and loved every moment. They all got old and had one illness or another and so I am used to administering medications. Therefore, also used to senior dogs too. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if they are our own. We look after friends dogs when they are away and they have a great time, we make sure they have a lovely time. We live semi rurally and there is a fabulous enclosed dog field nearby for those with sketchy recall! Please let me know your dogs routine and and we will stick to that as far as possible. Also let us know any dietary requirements or allergies and medications. I am at home all day and my husband works from home so there will be plenty of attention to go round. I offer a high standard of care and will ensure that your pets will be looked after and made to feel secure and at home. I have a house with a fenced garden and your dog will be well cared for. I am retired, fit and healthy , hubby works from home. We love walking, and love dogs, they will be loved as our own and cared for. I have a secure garden, semi rural, dog friendly area, secure quiet dog parks if needed & friendly grand-dog if needed for company, conservation area nearby and won't be left alone if you don't want. We will always take the dogs with us to dog friendly places.

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love of dogs, over 25 years of hands-on experience, and the fact that I currently have my own friendly 6-month-old Cavapoo, Milo, who absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has the best personality. He helps create a fun, social, and welcoming environment for visiting dogs. I understand that every dog is different, so I always tailor my care to their needs, routine, and personality. Whether it’s an energetic younger dog needing playtime, walks, and consistency, or an older dog who needs a gentler pace, patience, and extra comfort, I’m happy to adapt. I also work from home, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to offer drop-in visits, regular toilet breaks, walks, companionship, and attentive care throughout the day. Your dog will never feel ignored or left alone for long periods. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own—providing a safe, loving, and reliable home-from-home experience so owners can relax knowing their pet is in caring hands et care fits naturally into my daily routine as I work from home during weekdays, which means I’m around throughout the day to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and regular care. I work 9–5, but this allows me to be present for toilet breaks, playtime, feeding, and making sure pets feel settled and comfortable. I already care for my own puppy, Milo, so taking time for walks, play, and supervision is part of my everyday schedule. I make sure he gets a walk at lunchtime each day, and I’d be happy to include another dog in that routine depending on their needs and energy levels. My wife is also home on some days while studying at university, which means there is often additional company and supervision in the house. Because pet care is already built into our home life, any dog staying with us would receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and a warm, welcoming environment throughout the week. I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for pets in my home, making sure they feel relaxed and part of the family while they are with me. I have a good-sized paved yard that is fully fenced and gated, so dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, fresh air, and play during day boarding or stays. I am very much led by each owner’s preferences and will always follow your instructions on how your dog likes to be cared for, including feeding routines, walks, sleeping arrangements, training commands, medication, and any little habits that help them feel at home. I understand every dog is different, so I always tailor my care to suit their individual needs and personality.

“Danielle and her partner Dan were fantastic from the very first message. They gave Winnie a proper home from home stay, she loved every second of it and was honestly so lovely to see how much they loved Winnie. Amazing sitters and pup carers! 10/10 from us and would highly recommend. Winnie will be visiting again in no time I’m absolutely sure of it 🩶”

“Alexandra and Chris were absolutely fantastic looking after our dog, Harley, while we were away in Cardiff for a few days. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in safe and caring hands. They kept us updated throughout our trip with regular messages and lovely photos, which gave us real peace of mind and allowed us to relax knowing Harley was happy and well looked after. It was clear she was getting plenty of attention, care, and affection. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Alexandra and Chris again. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and trustworthy people to care for their dog. Thank you both for taking such great care of Harley!”

“I’m so happy with the care and skill with which Jane looked after my 2 cats during twice-daily drop-ins at home in Layton. She is experienced and thorough and I really felt that the cats were in good hands whilst I was away. I returned to happy, contented (and properly medicated) kitties and the whole process was seamless for them and me. Jane followed all my instructions and has a keen eye to notice if anything is wrong or needs any attention. Getting daily photos of the cats and updates from her was a delight! Thank you Jane, from Mel”

“Caley was amazing! She was so attentive, and really reassuring on my first time leaving Oscar. Every visit, I got very detailed run downs of their adventures together and the photos just proved how much Oscar loved her. Without a doubt will be seeing if Caley is free next time I go away, genuinely all you could ask for in a pet sitter! Would highly recommend.”

About: Hi! I’m Elisabeth (or Libby) I’m 19 years old and have had cats my entire life, with years of experience as the main caregiver for my family pets. I’ve cared for a variety of breeds including short-haired domestic cats and large, long-haired Maine Coons, so I understand that different cats have different grooming, attention, and care needs. I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter cleaning, playtime, grooming, and helping cats feel comfortable and relaxed in their own environment. I’m confident with basic animal first aid skills and experienced in recognising signs that a cat may be unwell or uncomfortable. I’ve also helped manage veterinary care for family pets, including taking part in video consultations with vets and carrying out checks such as monitoring teeth and gum health under veterinary guidance. I’m planning to study Animal Behaviour at undergraduate level in the future because I’m passionate about animal care and understanding behaviour and wellbeing. I’m also trustworthy, respectful, and responsible when caring for pets in other people’s homes, making sure your cat, your home, and their routine are all cared for properly while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have a genuine connection to them. I adore being around animals of every type and have been trusted to look after neighbours and families pets since I was around 15 years old, this including walking, feeding and playing with their beloved pets. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I am fully available all weekend. I will be hopefully changing schedules soon which includes working from home so will be able to offer more flexible days. My pets at home live a wonderful life. I have an English Giant Rabbit called Bertie who free roams all day under the watchful eye of my mum, he likes to sunbathe, chew grass and play with his rugby ball. He also adores being stroked ( he thinks he’s a dog)! I also have a lovely little dog called Harper who spends her day with her best friend who is my mum! Harper also has the luxury of napping on the sofa all day and goes on around 2-3 walks a day, weather dependent.

About: Growing up with multiple cats and running my own pet sitting business in France, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, personalities, and needs from young kittens to senior cats. I previously fostered for a rescue helping feral kittens, socialising them, and finding them loving forever homes. Alongside this, I’ve worked in professional catteries. Any cat in my care is treated with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and comfortable whilst you can't be there.

About: I’m a mature lady with a grown up daughter, with 15+ years of predominantly Springer Spaniel ownership and care experience in both a rural farming environment and a domestic household. Now living in Blackpool, I no longer have pets of my own but have the time to devote to caring for other’s, in a calm, slow paced environment. The house does have two other human male residents, but no children. When looking after your dog in my own home, they will have free reign of the ground floor which has laminated flooring throughout, and the fully enclosed rear garden, which has been recently decked throughout with new secure fencing and high gates. Living very close to the sea/prom, there will be regular walks by the sea and on the beach, with the chance to run free off lead, if appropriate. All photos shown on my profile are recent house guests I’ve hosted.......Max, Poppy, Autumn, Blossom, Henry, Stewie, Dash, Amber and Mabel As I provide care within my home there’s always someone home, so your pet will rarely be left alone for more than a couple of hours. The kitchen door will always be open during better weather so the dogs can go out when needed. Potty breaks will be available on doggy demand or encouraged every hour if bad weather. I have a newly decked rear back garden with new fencing and secure high gates front and rear, so your pets will stay safe and secure, with regular free access to the rear garden to play and potty. I have room for a crate if necessary. I also have a baby gate which is used to pen off the dogs if required to either keep separate to to keep them safe if front door is opened.

“Adam has been brilliant with Lily. She can be quite an anxious dog, especially around new people and places, but Adam has taken real care to make her feel welcome and settled. The extra effort he's put in to build her trust hasn't gone unnoticed and it's made such a difference. Highly recommend — thank you Adam!”

“We used their dog-sitting service while we were in Blackpool for the day visiting Pleasure Beach, and it was really convenient. Unfortunately, our sitter was unwell, but her mum stepped in and looked after Coco and Arnie, as they run the business together. We received updates during the day, which gave us peace of mind knowing the dogs were being well cared for. Coco and Arnie came home happy and relaxed, and it was clear they had been looked after well. We’d definitely use their services again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable dog sitters. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Eliska is a lovely girl, very professional! She is reliable and helpful!! you can see the love for animals she is soo good with our little fudge who is just 7 months old and a busy little girl, I’m sure fudge would go home with her 😀 5***** here.”

“This is the first time we have used a dog service for our dogs and wish we would have found Michael and Geoff sooner! The good thing about them is they walk our staffies alone unlike other dog walkers where they have a few dogs at a time. We are also going to use them for boarding too in the future as they have a secure garden with no other dogs which is perfect! Communication is great and they are flexible and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone!”

About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. I have recently retired as a Nurse which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now at home much more giving your pets my undivided attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. “Simone is truly a five star dog walker and sitter. She is the best in what she do and Leo and we love her. She is part of family for us and we recommend her to anyone who like to have VIP service.”

About: Having owned a dog for many years, I am now in a pet free home and look forward to the opportunity to care for dogs in the local area. I love getting out on walks and look forward to meeting some new furry friends to walk with and look after at home. I am retired and have no pets at home, therefore I am flexible to your needs. I love getting out for walks so would enjoy bringing a dog out with me depending on their usual needs. I have a fenced garden which is a great area to play when not out walking or in the lounge or conservatory relaxing. I am in a child free, pet free home so it is a great place for a dog to relax. I only take one or more dogs from the same family.
“Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. I can't thank her enough for putting me at ease with the pictures and video as she's pet sitting Odin in our home in July for our wedding. Odin is looking forward to it I'm sure. Thankyou Georgia!”

About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.

I was fortunate enough to have family members that would take car of my micky like their own. I think it's important to look after someone else's 4 legged friend exactly how they would want you to. I had my micky really well trained I used to receive comments all the time on how good we were together I spent alot of time training him we had a mutual respect which is important, I don't look at dogs as master and dog it's a bond that makes a dog want to behave well and admire you. I'm always working local so I can be anywhere i need to be in 10 minutes I have very flexible working times also being self employed that get even more flexible in the summer months. I care for your pet exactly as asked that's important to me safety is key as I'm being trusted with someone's pride and joy the love of someone's life so it's very important that every precaution is take to ensure a happy health pooch

Kat absolutely put our mind to rest with her caring manner from the first minute we met. Kat let us tss as ke a look round her home and especially the garden which was very secure. During our time away Kat supplied a few photo which was very much appreciated. On pickup Islay was happy that I’m not sure she wanted to leave. We would have ni issues with booking Kat again.”

“My old boy is a rescue, naturally distrustful due to previous people who had him, and can be quite shy, especially since his mom passed away a year ago. Well, a week with Cherise and he's now howling away happily! I was kept up to date and pictures and videos were sent. I was very nervous as I had never left him with a stranger for long periods before. She made all that anxiety and fear dissipate in seconds. We will DEFINITELY book again”

“Teddy has settled nicely at Ella's place this weekend. He's back to tricks here in his home, but was better walking this morning and approaching other dogs in the neighbourhood. She loves looking after him.”

“Debbie and Andrew are the best! They send regular updates with pictures throughout the day, Lola was taken out 3 times a day and to the beach twice. I would definitely recommend, Lola would love to come back next time we go away. Thanks so much!”
