About: I have had dogs all my life, we love them, my daughter has a Cockerpoo who regularly comes to stay and we love him!He is our Grand Dog😂 We had 3 dogs all at the same time at one point and loved every moment.They all got old and had one illness or another and so I am used to administering medications.Therefore, also used to senior dogs too. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if they are our own. We look after friends dogs when they are away and they have a great time, we make sure they have a lovely time. We live semi rurally and there is a fabulous enclosed dog field nearby for those with sketchy recall! Please let me know your dogs routine and and we will stick to that as far as possible. Also let us know any dietary requirements or allergies and medications. I am at home all day and my husband works from home so there will be plenty of attention to go round. I offer a high standard of care and will ensure that your pets will be looked after and made to feel secure and at home. I have a house with a fenced garden and your dog will be well cared for. I am retired, fit and healthy , hubby works from home. We love walking, and love dogs, they will be loved as our own and cared for. I have a secure garden, semi rural, dog friendly area, secure quiet dog parks if needed & friendly grand-dog if needed for company, conservation area nearby and won't be left alone if you don't want. About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. The other is an my 16 yr old cat who has some health issues. Jane administered medication (crushed tablets and liquid) as well as feeding all 3 and cleaning up after them. I was so grateful that Jane took such good care of my poorly old cat with no complaint at all. Could not have asked for more!”

About: Dog mad since childhood and after losing my own dog in 2009, I set up a rescue in his honour. Over 15 years of helping rescue and rehome dogs as well as injury and trauma rehab. I’ve also run a dog shelter single handed with over 40 dogs. All proceeds go towards my dog rescue project 🐾 I am fully dedicated to dogs. My project ........ involves me working and fundraising in the UK and then going abroad to rescue in places of critical need. They last 6 years I’ve been doing this mostly between London and Turkiye where they passed a law to massacre stray dogs. When I’m in London, I stay at my best friend’s place near Vauxhall station to keep overheads low. I usually care for dog’s at the owner’s home but can accommodate at my friend’s flat where I stay when I’m in London if required - all dog lovers here.

About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. I have recently retired as a Nurse which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now at home much more giving your pets my undivided attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. A dog would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours whilst in our care. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We live in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely walks nearby and are only a couple of miles from the beach. We don’t mix dogs from different families so you can be assured your dog will be given our undivided attention whilst they are in our care.

The good thing about them is they walk our staffies alone unlike other dog walkers where they have a few dogs at a time. About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. I understand that every dog is an individual and I pay particular attention to how the dynamics between the dogs change when they are living together so that we can keep everyone happy. I can also carry on training habits or administer medication whilst they are with us. My partner Mandy and I are both working from home at the moment so there will be someone available most of the time for back door opening, company and cuddles. For safety, dogs will always remain on lead when out walking until we've built trust and I know their recall and behaviour well. I'll also ask to see that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. I'll make sure I have your veterinary details and emergency contact information before your dog's stay, so I'm fully prepared should they ever be needed. My priority is to provide a safe, calm and caring environment where both you and your dog feel completely confident and comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and receiving the very best care.
