About: I’ve had dogs since being a young girl. A recent bereavement of my old boy has left me with lots of time and love on my hands to offer your fur babies. From being a puppy my daughter and I attended, puppy training classes for socialisation and then agility training as he got older. As he slowed down during his golden years, as a family you have to adapt to their needs as they slow down 😔 do have experience from puppies to senior years. I’m currently not working, so apart from appointments that I have to attend, I am at home all of the time. My weekends are usually free too. My house is very calm, quiet and relaxed for your dog to come in and out as they please with a patio area and safe fenced area. I can provide toys for fun and enrichment and a warm home from home space for rest. I have a fenced garden that is secure. I also have a grassy area opposite the house for good sniffs if you require me to take your dog out to stretch their legs.

About: We have had a dog in our family for the last 15 years....minus a few years after we lost our beloved Collie cross Sam. We are used to have small and large dogs in the family and both our boys love dogs. We live a 10 minute walk from the beach and round the corner from large fields for ball chasing. We would love to welcome your dog into our home and we have a very large fenced garden for them to play in too. I work full time but 3 days from home. We do have our own dog that I take care of too so your pet will have a friend. Walks are at 7am...on the school run...lunchtime and evening before bed so your pet will have plenty of exercise. I have a large fenced garden with a lot of space for exercise and can also crate your pet if needed for comfort. They will get a lot of love and attention.

“I took my 5 year old mini dachshund for an overnight stay with Lesley. It was his very first visit. Lesley was brilliant with him. He settled in straight away and was not in the least bit stressed or upset at being left. About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. Outside, we have a securely fenced area of the garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. In the summer, they have access to their own paddling pool. We also have a larger garden for exercise and play, although this area isn't fully escape-proof, so adventurous dogs with a talent for finding gaps may need to stay on a lead or enjoy the secure area instead. I always tailor each dog's access to outdoor spaces based on their personality and level of recall to keep them safe. About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. I have recently retired as a Nurse which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now at home much more giving your pets my undivided attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. A dog would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours whilst in our care. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We live in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely walks nearby and are only a couple of miles from the beach. We don’t mix dogs from different families so you can be assured your dog will be given our undivided attention whilst they are in our care.

The good thing about them is they walk our staffies alone unlike other dog walkers where they have a few dogs at a time. About: I have had dogs growing up and currently have two dogs at my parent’s house but now I’ve moved out and live away, I don’t get to see them as often. I love being around friends and family’s dogs but I have never thought of being a dog sitter/walker. About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. I understand that every dog is an individual and I pay particular attention to how the dynamics between the dogs change when they are living together so that we can keep everyone happy. I can also carry on training habits or administer medication whilst they are with us. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping to their usual routine, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. My partner Mandy and I are both working from home at the moment so there will be someone available most of the time for back door opening, company and cuddles. I'm flexible and can usually accommodate your dog's normal routine, helping them feel settled and comfortable while they're with us. We have a loving family home with three children—two teenagers and an eight-year-old who has grown up around animals and is always gentle and respectful. We also have two friendly, dog-tolerant cats, so any dogs staying with us will need to be comfortable around cats and children. Outside, we have a securely fenced area of the garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. In the summer, they have access to their own paddling pool. We also have a larger garden for exercise and play, although this area isn't fully escape-proof, so adventurous dogs with a talent for finding gaps may need to stay on a lead or enjoy the secure area instead. I always tailor each dog's access to outdoor spaces based on their personality and level of recall to keep them safe. I only accept dogs that I feel will be happy and comfortable in our home environment. This helps ensure a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience for your dog, our family and our own pets. To determine this, we always like to have a visit from you and your dog to our home. We just want to be as sure as we can that everyone is going to be happy during their stay!

“Jessica and Lewis were amazing with our two whippets. Lots of exercise and lots of love was given to my dogs, that I could see on the daily morning and evening updates. When we went to pick them up, after jumping on us, they went back to Jessica and Lewis for cuddles on the sofa and that told me everything I needed to know. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. About: Dog owner from childhood that has extended into adulthood. Currently have a 11yr old Staffy x Lab which I have had since she was 8 weeks old. Passionate about animals, also a horse owner and I love the outdoors and long walks. Pet care fits into my daily life well. I live a 5 minute walk from Morecambe promenade.
