About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. About: Having owned a dog for many years, I am now in a pet free home and look forward to the opportunity to care for dogs in the local area. I love getting out on walks and look forward to meeting some new furry friends to walk with and look after at home. I am retired and have no pets at home, therefore I am flexible to your needs. I love getting out for walks so would enjoy bringing a dog out with me depending on their usual needs. I have a fenced garden which is a great area to play when not out walking or in the lounge or conservatory relaxing. I am in a child free, pet free home so it is a great place for a dog to relax. I only take one or more dogs from the same family.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have a genuine connection to them. I adore being around animals of every type and have been trusted to look after neighbours and families pets since I was around 15 years old, this including walking, feeding and playing with their beloved pets. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday so I am fully available all weekend. I will be hopefully changing schedules soon which includes working from home so will be able to offer more flexible days. My pets at home live a wonderful life. I have an English Giant Rabbit called Bertie who free roams all day under the watchful eye of my mum, he likes to sunbathe, chew grass and play with his rugby ball. He also adores being stroked ( he thinks he’s a dog)! I also have a lovely little dog called Harper who spends her day with her best friend who is my mum! Harper also has the luxury of napping on the sofa all day and goes on around 2-3 walks a day, weather dependent.

About: I have always had pets around myself and family I’ve even had chickens for several years. I often look after my family’s pets while they are on holiday. I am retired now and very active. As I am now retired I have plenty of time for pets I enjoy being active dog walking I live very close to a dog friendly beach and plenty of countryside walks I have a large house with 3 gardens. I am available to look after any of your pets. I enjoy dog walking your pets will be very safe in my care.

“Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. About: Ever since I was younger I have loved dogs of every kind! I have looked after dogs since I can remember and love every second! I have a full time job but in my spare time I would love to look after your pets and to put their safety at the top of my priority. I hope you choose me to look after your babies as I will make sure they live the life of luxury! Tell me your preferences and I will do my very best to make them happen! I work a full time job but it is shift work with emergency services so this means that I can fit around the normal 9-5 schedule. I see this side hustle as a luxury rather than a money making opportunity! My home is pet free so no worrying about other dogs, it has a fully fenced garden that is big enough for toilet breaks and a little run around. As well as this I have a children free home so their time with me would be fully theirs! I have a great big park by my house that has space for a nice run around. Obviously this purely depends on lead preference.

About: I had my own boxer dog micky for 11 years sadly I lost him. I know exactly how hard it can be to navigate life and make sure your giving your dog the best care possible! I was fortunate enough to have family members that would take car of my micky like their own. I think it's important to look after someone else's 4 legged friend exactly how they would want you to. I had my micky really well trained I used to receive comments all the time on how good we were together I spent alot of time training him we had a mutual respect which is important, I don't look at dogs as master and dog it's a bond that makes a dog want to behave well and admire you. I'm always working local so I can be anywhere i need to be in 10 minutes I have very flexible working times also being self employed that get even more flexible in the summer months. I care for your pet exactly as asked that's important to me safety is key as I'm being trusted with someone's pride and joy the love of someone's life so it's very important that every precaution is take to ensure a happy health pooch

About: I have been training my dogs with a professional dog trainer for 5 years so I have lots of handling skills and knowledge. Im also doing dog grooming which has given me a lot more experience, alongside doing canine first aid to help with further knowledge and to make sure all fur friends are well. I currently work part time 2 days a week but I am supply so if needed I can book off the days if someone booked in for sitting or walks 🐾 The yard will be fenced so all dogs are secure and safe! Lots bed and water available so they can be comfty and toys so we can have lots fun too :) walks will be included so your dogs can get the fulfilment needed for your breed of dog

About: I’m a mature lady with a grown up daughter, with 15+ years of predominantly Springer Spaniel ownership and care experience in both a rural farming environment and a domestic household. Now living in Blackpool, I no longer have pets of my own but have the time to devote to caring for other’s, in a calm, slow paced environment. The house does have two other human male residents, but no children. When looking after your dog in my own home, they will have free reign of the ground floor which has laminated flooring throughout, and the fully enclosed rear garden, which has been recently decked throughout with new secure fencing and high gates. Living very close to the sea/prom, there will be regular walks by the sea and on the beach, with the chance to run free off lead, if appropriate. All photos shown on my profile are recent house guests I’ve hosted.......Max, Poppy, Autumn, Blossom, Henry, Stewie, Dash, Amber and Mabel As I provide care within my home there’s always someone home, so your pet will rarely be left alone for more than a couple of hours. The kitchen door will always be open during better weather so the dogs can go out when needed. Potty breaks will be available on doggy demand or encouraged every hour if bad weather. I have a newly decked rear back garden with new fencing and secure high gates front and rear, so your pets will stay safe and secure, with regular free access to the rear garden to play and potty. I have room for a crate if necessary. I also have a baby gate which is used to pen off the dogs if required to either keep separate to to keep them safe if front door is opened.
