About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been the one in the family who takes care of them. I raised two Labradors, Maisy and Maude, a mum and daughter, and was even there when Maude was born. I’ve recently moved out and don’t live with dogs anymore, which is why I’m here. I miss being around them and want to help people who need a reliable, easygoing sitter or walker. I’m calm, patient, and happy to follow whatever routine works best for your dog. I treat every dog with the same care I’d want for my own. I work full-time, but I’m home on Mondays and Fridays, which makes those days perfect for dog sitting while I work remotely. I’m also free most evenings during the week for walks, and I have good availability on weekends for both walking and sitting. Pet care fits in naturally around my schedule, and I really enjoy having that time with dogs—it doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s something I genuinely look forward to. At the owner’s home, I follow their routine and make sure the dog feels comfortable and cared for. At my secure apartment, I take dogs out regularly for walks and breaks, keeping things calm and safe indoors.

About: I've been caring for dogs for nearly 4 years, and I really enjoy it! I have experience with beagles (anyone who's owned one understands they're a bit unique, which makes it fun) and also with dogs that get anxious when left alone. I love helping them feel safe and loved. I'm currently enjoying my summer break as a university student, which means I have plenty of free time most days, including weekends and evenings. I have experience caring for multiple dogs, including larger breeds that require extra attention. I am DBS-checked, ensuring your dog(s) will be in safe and responsible hands. You can trust that I will give your pets the dedicated care and attention they deserve, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or administering any special care they might need.
About: I am a Bioveterinary Science student at the University of Lancashire. I love looking after my mums Chihuahua Winnie (she’s a sweetheart!). I LOVE all animals, and have lots of experience cat-sitting so I’ve decided to take up dog-sitting too! I am currently balancing university (only 2 days a week) & 2 other part-time jobs on fridays & the weekend. I tend to do one visit in the morning (usually between 8am-10am) and then in the evening (6pm-10pm). In previous pet-sits, I would only allow the cat out of the house in the morning and then it would let itself back in (using a cat flap) in the afternoon, which would lock behind it so that he was definitely there when I did my evening visit. Another cat is not allowed outside when I do my visits (due to lack of cat flap), but he doesn’t mind so much. I am very happy to adjust to any arrangements that may be needed to ensure the safety of your little pet!
“Matt took excellent care of my retriever. Came over for a meet greet and my boy instantly fell in love! Fantastic communication throughout with lots of updates as well as lots of questions to get to know exactly how to care for Spencer.”

About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I work in Education and am also a student. I am often up early in the morning and would love to fit in some visits around work. I have flexible working and work from home benefits so I can work from your home with plenty of breaks, or do a half day at home and half at work. My weekends and evenings are mostly free so plenty of time then too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I like clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

I treat every pet with love and attention, as if they were my own. I am comfortable with feeding, walking and playing, and I always make sure they feel safe and happy. I am reliable and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I am currently studying English, which gives me flexibility during the day. I have time to take care of dogs and cats, including walks, feeding and companionship. I am available on weekdays and weekends, and I will always make sure your pet gets attention, care and love. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walks and any special needs. I am calm, responsible and attentive, and I treat every pet with love and respect. I always prioritize their safety and well-being.
About: Ive aided in assistance dog training for 2 years, have a level 3 animal care diploma within that was taught canine first aid, I currently do go to uni doing veterinary bioscience and hopefully want to go onto doing veterinary medicine. I have a passion for taking care of animals and providing the best possible enrichment :) Right now at the moment since I’m back home I don’t really have much going on so it fits in perfectly with my schedule giving me something to do. Within homes I often do basic supervision such as sending text updates on what is happening and fun photos of your pets so you know they are always safe and sound :)

“Our dogs know Debbie and Andrew, as we have met them a few times before. We know how much they love dogs, so we had no hesitation in booking them to walk our 2 boys. Jamie was very happy to meet Debbie and Andrew again, he really enjoyed his walk with them. We have booked further walks, as we know our boys will be well looked after.”
About: I have been taking care of pets since 8 years now. Along with my husband, I moved countries, leaving our pets ( 2 dogs and 2 cats) behind with our loving family who currently take care of them! Making use of all this built up love and longing for our fur babies till we meet them again! x I am currently on mat leave and husband works 4 days which gives us plenty of time to board according to our availability and your needs. We have a fenced garden outside but the cats will be mostly inside our house which is secure and with me at home at all times, safety isn’t a problem.
About: I have had years of experience helping family and friends out with their pets. I would always jump at the chance to look after any dogs & cats if the opportunity was given to me. Weekends, I’m free all day and night to take care of your pets, go for walks, check ins or even over night stays within your homes. I’m currently working full time, however I’m flexible to work within the evenings Monday- Friday to do evening walks or check ins or over night stays. During walks I respect the owners wishes, so I'm happy to keep them on lead if someone isn't confident about them being let off, and if I do let dogs off it's only in an open but secure park / grass area. When taking care of your loving pets, I will always take lots of pictures and videos to give owners daily updates on how they're settling in and what they might have been up to that day - Dogs they've been socialising with, walks they've had and any other updates in general.

About: I’m a third-year veterinary medicine student with experience in veterinary practices, animal shelters, dog sitting, equine care and animal rehabilitation. I’m Fear Free Certified in dog, cat, feline-specific and equine handling, so I focus on calm, low-stress care and making each pet feel safe at their own pace. I have experience with rescue animals, nervous pets, senior animals, young animals, post-operative care, medication, enrichment, feeding routines and behaviour support. Through my veterinary placements I’ve assisted with consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia monitoring, discharge appointments and post-operative monitoring, so I’m confident spotting changes in behaviour, appetite, mobility or general wellbeing. What sets me apart is that I combine genuine animal love with veterinary training, patience and welfare-focused handling. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine closely, keep you updated, and treat them with the same care and kindness I’d want for my own animals. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I’m a veterinary medicine student, so animal care is already a big part of my daily life. I’m used to planning around university, placements and animal responsibilities, and I’m reliable with feeding times, walks, medication schedules, litter tray cleaning, playtime and owner updates. I’m happy to care for both dogs and cats around their normal routines, whether that involves walks, drop-in visits, feeding, enrichment, medication, quiet company, or keeping them settled while their owners are away. When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible, as familiar routines help animals feel safe and relaxed. I make sure food, water, litter trays, medication, doors, windows, garden access, leads, harnesses and any household instructions are managed carefully. I use calm, low-stress handling and never force interaction. I’m Fear Free Certified in dog and cat handling, with additional feline-specific certification, so I focus on patience, choice and reading each pet’s body language. I’m comfortable with nervous pets, rescue animals, senior pets, young animals and pets who need a gentler approach. Because of my veterinary placement experience, I’m confident noticing changes in appetite, toileting, behaviour, mobility, grooming, breathing, wounds or general wellbeing, and I will always keep owners updated clearly.
