About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.
“Matt took excellent care of my retriever. Came over for a meet greet and my boy instantly fell in love! Fantastic communication throughout with lots of updates as well as lots of questions to get to know exactly how to care for Spencer.”

“Simone was absolutely wonderful with Leo today. She is incredibly patient, caring, and kind, and it is clear how much she genuinely loves working with dogs. Leo adores her and is always happy to see her, which gives us great confidence that he is in excellent hands. She does a fantastic job with his walks, ensuring he gets both exercise and attention while making the experience enjoyable for him. We are very grateful for her reliability, kindness, and dedication. We highly recommend Simone to anyone who wants their dog to be in the trusted hands of a genuinely kind, caring, and dependable person.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been the one in the family who takes care of them. I raised two Labradors, Maisy and Maude, a mum and daughter, and was even there when Maude was born. I’ve recently moved out and don’t live with dogs anymore, which is why I’m here. I miss being around them and want to help people who need a reliable, easygoing sitter or walker. I’m calm, patient, and happy to follow whatever routine works best for your dog. I treat every dog with the same care I’d want for my own. I work full-time, but I’m home on Mondays and Fridays, which makes those days perfect for dog sitting while I work remotely. I’m also free most evenings during the week for walks, and I have good availability on weekends for both walking and sitting. Pet care fits in naturally around my schedule, and I really enjoy having that time with dogs—it doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s something I genuinely look forward to. At the owner’s home, I follow their routine and make sure the dog feels comfortable and cared for. At my secure apartment, I take dogs out regularly for walks and breaks, keeping things calm and safe indoors.

About: I've been caring for dogs for nearly 4 years, and I really enjoy it! I have experience with beagles (anyone who's owned one understands they're a bit unique, which makes it fun) and also with dogs that get anxious when left alone. I love helping them feel safe and loved. I'm currently enjoying my summer break as a university student, which means I have plenty of free time most days, including weekends and evenings. I have experience caring for multiple dogs, including larger breeds that require extra attention. I am DBS-checked, ensuring your dog(s) will be in safe and responsible hands. You can trust that I will give your pets the dedicated care and attention they deserve, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or administering any special care they might need.
About: I am a Bioveterinary Science student at the University of Lancashire. I love looking after my mums Chihuahua Winnie (she’s a sweetheart!). I LOVE all animals, and have lots of experience cat-sitting so I’ve decided to take up dog-sitting too! I am currently balancing university (only 2 days a week) & 2 other part-time jobs on fridays & the weekend. I tend to do one visit in the morning (usually between 8am-10am) and then in the evening (6pm-10pm). In previous pet-sits, I would only allow the cat out of the house in the morning and then it would let itself back in (using a cat flap) in the afternoon, which would lock behind it so that he was definitely there when I did my evening visit. Another cat is not allowed outside when I do my visits (due to lack of cat flap), but he doesn’t mind so much. I am very happy to adjust to any arrangements that may be needed to ensure the safety of your little pet!
About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I work in Education and am also a student. I am often up early in the morning and would love to fit in some visits around work. I have flexible working and work from home benefits so I can work from your home with plenty of breaks, or do a half day at home and half at work. My weekends and evenings are mostly free so plenty of time then too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I like clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

“Our dogs know Debbie and Andrew, as we have met them a few times before. We know how much they love dogs, so we had no hesitation in booking them to walk our 2 boys. Jamie was very happy to meet Debbie and Andrew again, he really enjoyed his walk with them. We have booked further walks, as we know our boys will be well looked after.”
About: I have been taking care of pets since 8 years now. Along with my husband, I moved countries, leaving our pets ( 2 dogs and 2 cats) behind with our loving family who currently take care of them! Making use of all this built up love and longing for our fur babies till we meet them again! x I am currently on mat leave and husband works 4 days which gives us plenty of time to board according to our availability and your needs. We have a fenced garden outside but the cats will be mostly inside our house which is secure and with me at home at all times, safety isn’t a problem.
About: I’m a final year student of engineering and since I was young I have had pets at home, so I have plenty of experience. One of the things I like the most is to go out for long walks during my free time, so I would love to be given the responsibility of taking care of a dog and to bring him with me at all time. I am really good at time management so I might always be able to find suitable time slots to take care of your dog when necessary. My flat is dog friendly. I live with other two students who are animal lovers. So the dog will be with people at every moment.
About: I have had years of experience helping family and friends out with their pets. I would always jump at the chance to look after any dogs & cats if the opportunity was given to me. Weekends, I’m free all day and night to take care of your pets, go for walks, check ins or even over night stays within your homes. I’m currently working full time, however I’m flexible to work within the evenings Monday- Friday to do evening walks or check ins or over night stays. During walks I respect the owners wishes, so I'm happy to keep them on lead if someone isn't confident about them being let off, and if I do let dogs off it's only in an open but secure park / grass area. When taking care of your loving pets, I will always take lots of pictures and videos to give owners daily updates on how they're settling in and what they might have been up to that day - Dogs they've been socialising with, walks they've had and any other updates in general.
About: Hello! My name is Inna. I recently moved to the UK and would love to spend more time with dogs again. I’ve had several dogs in the past — two wonderful Rottweilers, a playful Pug, and a sweet French Bulldog. They were all part of my life and my heart. At the moment, I don’t have my own dog, but I really miss the daily joy and energy they bring. That’s why I’m here on Rover — to walk, play, and care for your furry friends as if they were my own. I live in a quiet, comfortable home with a safe garden, perfect for dogs to relax and feel secure. I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks, giving them attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m reliable, calm, and responsible — and I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. Whether your dog needs a short walk, a friendly daytime companion, or a warm home for the night — I’ll be happy to help! 🐶💕 Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I currently have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I offer flexible pet care depending on your needs: – I can visit your home to feed, check on, or spend time with your pet. – I'm happy to take dogs out for walks in parks or quiet streets. – I can also host small or calm dogs in my home if you're away on holiday.

“Ilin was amazing with our nervous dog Winnie and really put us at ease. She was very communicative with us and patient with Winnie. She went above and beyond and you can tell that she has such a love for dogs! Would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be booking her again ☺️”
