About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.
“Simone is truly a five star dog walker and sitter. She is the best in what she do and Leo and we love her. She is part of family for us and we recommend her to anyone who like to have VIP service.”

About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I am a mature student completing my research degree and have plenty of time to fit pets into my routine. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

“It took a lot for me to trust a stranger with my dog, but after a meet and greet I was happy to trust Marie and after just one week I’ve noticed a difference in my dog he’s a lot calmer and happier. Marie takes her time with my dog and treats him as if he was her own.”

About: I've been caring for dogs for nearly 4 years, and I really enjoy it! I have experience with beagles (anyone who's owned one understands they're a bit unique, which makes it fun) and also with dogs that get anxious when left alone. I love helping them feel safe and loved. I'm currently enjoying my summer break as a university student, which means I have plenty of free time most days, including weekends and evenings. I have experience caring for multiple dogs, including larger breeds that require extra attention. I am DBS-checked, ensuring your dog(s) will be in safe and responsible hands. You can trust that I will give your pets the dedicated care and attention they deserve, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or administering any special care they might need.
“Matt took excellent care of my retriever. Came over for a meet greet and my boy instantly fell in love! Fantastic communication throughout with lots of updates as well as lots of questions to get to know exactly how to care for Spencer.”

With over many years of experience handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, I specialise in offering structure, safety, varied walks and fun whilst caring for your pup. I have been established for over 2 years now and have a number of customers with dogs of different shapes and sizes and characters but am now expanding so have a number of slots available. I can accommodate dogs with reactivity or nervous tendencies, and can look after any unique medical or dietary requirements that your pup may have. I limit my services to 1 on 1 walks or sometimes 2 on 1 but this is always up to the owner. I do this to ensure that every dog receives my undivided attention and care. I look forward to meeting you and your pup for a complimentary meet-and-greet to discuss how I can best support your family's routine! Dog care is my passion and I do this full time and see my job as a privilege caring for dogs of all characters and lucky to know a number of walks and beautiful spots around local areas. I don't really see this as a job, it's so much fun! I have a number of longstanding customers who are delighted with my service. I tailor my individual approach to each customer as no 2 customers nor no 2 dogs are the same.

About: Home-from-home dog care in Preston with plenty of company, individual attention and your dog’s normal routine kept familiar. I work a rotating shift pattern which gives me plenty of free time and several full days off at a time. I’m happy to follow established feeding, walking and medication schedules and will always discuss your pet’s routine with you beforehand. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, use leads as requested and pay attention to anything that could cause a problem during walks or visits. About: I am a Bioveterinary Science student at the University of Lancashire. I have had pets my whole life (cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits) & have lots of experience with cat-sitting. I even have my own cat (who I take on walks 🤣 I know I sound crazy but he enjoys it). I have also done some dog-sitting, and love taking them for long walks! I am currently balancing university (only 2 days a week) & a part-time jobs on fridays & the weekend. I tend to do one visit in the morning (usually between 8am-10am) and then in the evening (6pm-10pm). In previous pet-sits, I would only allow the cat out of the house in the morning and then it would let itself back in (using a cat flap) in the afternoon, which would lock behind it so that he was definitely there when I did my evening visit. Another cat is not allowed outside when I do my visits (due to lack of cat flap), but he doesn’t mind so much. I am very happy to adjust to any arrangements that may be needed to ensure the safety of your little pet!

We can work around your needs to make it work for you. Happy owner, happy pet! I have a fenced garden and a sociable and friendly dog, so your dog always has a play mate. I have a spare bedroom that includes a crate so we can create a safe space for your dog if needed. I have a field close by and if your dog is not great with recall we have long leads available so they can get the exercise they need. With guidance from you, I would be happy to help with training and socialising your dog to keep them in a routine as much as possible.

Fantastic dog walker! Reliable, friendly and great communication. Bella is wary of strangers, but he has been patient and understanding, she now happily goes on her walks with him and we really appreciate the updates and knowing she’s in good hands. Highly recommend!
