“Harry and his partner looked after Lenny for nearly two weeks, and I couldn't have asked for better carers. They kept me updated throughout his stay with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious from the updates that they genuinely care about animal welfare and treat every dog as if it were their own. Their home is spacious and welcoming, and it's surrounded by plenty of outdoor space for walks, which Lenny clearly enjoyed. From the photos, it was easy to see he was having a great time exploring. “My Storm went for a sleep over as an extended meet and greet to see if Tracy and her were a match.. I could tell instantly that Storm was comfortable. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. Theres always so much fun to be had when we look after dogs , the kids absolutely love them and it makes our weekends energetic and fun! It brings such a family feeling and this will be the perfect environment to take your dog for a walk or have them overnight ! We have a fanced garden and a very suitable home for overnight stays . The dogs can explore very well and the house will also be there house

I honestly couldn’t recommend Olivia enough! 🤍 She looked after our dog during our wedding and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was so kind, reliable, flexible and incredibly accommodating, which made such a difference during such a busy and stressful few days. She went completely above and beyond what we ever expected, even helping us out during a last minute wedding emergency without hesitation! 🥹 Knowing Otis was happy, safe and so well looked after meant we had one less thing to worry about and we were able to enjoy our wedding knowing he was in the best hands. Georgina was fantastic with Finn while we were away. She made him feel completely at home and it was clear from the updates that he was happy, relaxed and being really well looked after. Knowing he was so settled made us feel much more relaxed about leaving him too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Georgina and would happily leave Finn with her again.

Mark and Natalie were warm & friendly from the moment we booked. They took excellent care of Maisie and Poppy, our cocker spaniels. We received regular communication re their well being. Well what can I say, I left Ellie with you both and I was not disappointed. You settled my nerves by having multiple meet and greet days before hand, which not only helped me but also helped Ellie. Not that she needed it, as she was settled after a few minutes of meeting you both - which never happens! Whilst I was away for the 2 weeks, you made your home Ellie’s home, kept me updated with texts and pictures and honestly - she looked like she had a better holiday than me. Isabelle was amazing! She looked after my puppy for 4 days at very short notice. She made sure she did all the right things to ensure the best care for him & he had a great few days. They took him on long walks & comforted him when he was a little nervous the first day. She sent many updates throughout & great communication. Her dog Beemer & her cats are also very friendly with other dogs. Would 100% recommend her to dog sit!
This was my first time leaving Rocco and I was very nervous about leaving him with someone I didn’t know, but Racheal gave me so much confidence with looking after him… she was absolutely amazing! I was sent regularly photos and videos of him while I was away which I found very comforting. When collecting Rocco he was extremely excited to see us but once settled he went straight over to Rachel and gave her plenty of cuddles and kisses which I think says everything…. He loves her 🥰. Lisa was INCREDIBLE! She took care of Oscar and Theo our two toy cavapoos so well! I don’t think they wanted to come home. They had lots of walks and cuddles which is what they LOVE. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
