We have always loved animals and while I was working from home for a year in 2022 we home boarded dogs for weeks at a time while their owners were on holiday (for another company) and absolutely loved it! I also regularly borrow dogs for walks and runs. I love caring for dogs, going for walks at their pace, playing in the garden with them or just snuggling on the sofa. Your dog will be very well cared for while staying with us. My partner Howard also has lots of previous experience as he has owned and fostered dogs in the past.

If I could give 10 * I would . It was my 1st time leaving Samson with anyone , he stopped for a long weekend with Lesley & Howard in their beautiful home , although I had no phone signal whilst away lesley still tried to send photos & updates. Their love for dogs shows massively and i wouldnt hesitate to give my recommendations for this excellent couple. I honestly think Samson was sad to leave them , until next time thank you from both Samson & myself 🥰
Absolutely made up with finding Lesley and her husband to look after Annie for us. Brilliant service and Annie was so settled in their home. We loved the photos and updates over the weekend of how Annie was. Will be our go-to if they have availability. Thank you again! Xx
Lesley was great, we had a change of plans at the last minute and she was very accommodating to our needs. From the information given to us pippa settled in well, will use again, very happy.

Yen is a super shy dog, but Lesley was so patient with her and sent regular updates throughout her stay. Would recommend for those with shy pups

Schedule
I work full time, but normally work from home on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. My partner Howard is retired, so we are able to cover long weekend stays. We are willing to look after two dogs from the same household - please contact me about this.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a three bedroomed house with a fenced garden and driveway. Your dog would have free run of the house and garden and opportunity for plenty of walks and even runs if they want. We are both fully DBS checked and have our own pet boarding insurance.
A typical day
Your dog will have plenty opportunities for fun walks (or even runs if they would like) with us. We live near the Old Tram Road which is a fantastic traffic free dog walking area. There is a lovely pond in a wooded area just down the road where dogs can have an explore and also a little swim if they like. Alternatively if your doggie just wants to potter round the garden or play with a ball or their toys that is fine too. In the evenings your dog can snuggle on the sofa with us or have their own sofa with a comfy throw on. We have a large dining kitchen with plenty of room for your dog's bed or crate. If your dog normally sleeps on the bed with you we can also accommodate this.
