Originally from Lancashire, I lived in New Zealand from 2008-2024 where I was a team leader across 2 dog day care and boarding facilities. During the 12 years I worked there I would be in charge of up to 100+ dogs a day and ran the puppy pre-school and basic training programmes too. I lived in Colorado during 2025 and did dog walking and boarding full time while there and loved it! I have my own dog too, a 6 year old Golden Retriever called Freya.

Olivia was great from the time of booking to me picking him up! As the owner of a very spirited 8 month old retriever, I’m always concerned that people are put off by his energy and enthusiasm for everything! However, Olivia put my mind at ease when I met her and took everything in her stride. Olivia was easy to contact and great at responding. She sent pictures throughout the day and also gave some great general advice about retrievers (having one herself)! Heston looked like he was having a great time in the pictures and enjoying his walks! Couldn’t recommend Olivia enough! Thank you!!

Schedule
I'm working part time at the moment but my husband usually works from home so there will almost always be some at home with your pup and would never be alone for more than 2-3 hours (as long as they are ok with this)

A typical day
I usually do a walk around a local park while practicing basic commands and leash manners so they are using their brain as well as getting physical exercise. When back at home I have kongs and lickimats and I often make snuffle boxes where they have to use their nose to find treats hidden in boxes.
