About: 🐾 About Us Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and caring for them has never felt like work. We actually met 14 years ago while working together at a boarding kennels and cattery, and we’ve been surrounded by animals ever since. Matthew’s Experience: Matthew has spent his entire working career as a military working dog handler, working with highly trained dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. He’s calm, confident, and experienced with everything from strong working breeds to sensitive, anxious dogs. His background means he understands structure, trust, patience, and how to adapt to each dog’s individual needs. Laura’s Experience: Laura spent many years working in kennels and catteries, caring for animals from all backgrounds — nervous rescues, energetic working breeds, elderly pets needing extra support, and shy animals who simply need time and reassurance. What We Offer: We’re confident with all personalities and comfortable administering medications when needed. We understand how important routines, feeding schedules, and one‑to‑one attention are while owners are away, and we always follow your pet’s normal routine to help them feel settled. Our Home Our home is calm, loving, and relaxed — a place where pets can feel safe and part of the family. Whether your dog is playful, anxious, shy, elderly, full of energy, or happiest curled up for cuddles, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for like one of our own 🐾 -Laura works from home, so there is always someone here throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention, company, care, and cuddles as part of our daily routine. -Matthew works 9-5 on week days dog training and is home evenings and weekends. Fexible routine: each day can be tailored towards the needs of dogs within our care, making sure that your dog feels as comfortable as possible whilst staying in our home. - x2 Dog first aid experienced dog handlers. - Child free adult home, tailored to keeping pets. - Supervised secured Garden access throughout the day. - Access to a local, quiet dog walking routes. - Photos & Video updates. - Kennel experience in administering animal medication and dietery requirments. Our home is calm and safe and we always want pets to feel relaxed and comfortable while they’re with us. We have a secure garden for outdoor time, but dogs are never left unsupervised outside, and we also have multiple rooms if pets need some quiet downtime or their own space to settle. 🐾

“Debbie and Andrew took very good care of my dog Jambon; they listened to my needs and preferences and provided updates throughout the day. Highly recommended!”

About: I am a working from home dog mum to my Italian greyhound Cleo, with my schedule I have plenty of time in the day to take out your dog for lovely long walks and play time. Your dog will be treated as my own, with love, protection and care and will never be left alone. My house is clean , cosy and secure and Cleo would love a little companion in the day. I have a secured fenced and walled garden for your dog to enjoy ☺️ Your dog is free to sit and snooze on my sofa as they please or to have their own space if preferred.

About: Hello! My name is Inna. I recently moved to the UK and would love to spend more time with dogs again. I’ve had several dogs in the past — two wonderful Rottweilers, a playful Pug, and a sweet French Bulldog. They were all part of my life and my heart. At the moment, I don’t have my own dog, but I really miss the daily joy and energy they bring. That’s why I’m here on Rover — to walk, play, and care for your furry friends as if they were my own. I live in a quiet, comfortable home with a safe garden, perfect for dogs to relax and feel secure. I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks, giving them attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m reliable, calm, and responsible — and I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. Whether your dog needs a short walk, a friendly daytime companion, or a warm home for the night — I’ll be happy to help! 🐶💕 Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I currently have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I offer flexible pet care depending on your needs: – I can visit your home to feed, check on, or spend time with your pet. – I'm happy to take dogs out for walks in parks or quiet streets. – I can also host small or calm dogs in my home if you're away on holiday.

Thank you so much, Jess💕💕”

“I contacted Covadonga very last minute in the hope she'd be able to have my dog for a few hours while I visited Bath. The speed in which she replied was fantastic. Covadonga communicated so well with me, before and while she had my dog, it was so reassuring to know my dog was happy in her care. My dog had such a lovely time with Covadonga, I will definitely be booking with her again in the future, thank you!”

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life, so I am very comfortable caring for and looking after pets on a daily basis. I currently have a dog and two cats who get along very well, creating a calm and safe home environment. This has given me ongoing experience managing different animal needs. Through helping care for dogs for family and friends, I have gained experience with different dog personalities and care requirements, including walking and feeding. I aim to create a calm and safe environment so that every dog feels comfortable in my care. I understand the importance of ensuring owners feel confident and reassured that their dog is being taken care of properly. I'm currently a university student home for the summer and I also work as bank staff at the hospital. This gives me a flexible schedule, meaning I have plenty of time during the week and weekends to take care of your dog! Being at home also means I have lots of additional support around me, helping to ensure your dog recieves the best care at all times. I have a fenced and secure garden where your dog can safely run around and play. I also have pets of my own, which provides your dog with some company while they're here. Where I am located, there is a woodland area just a 2-minute walk away with a variety of extensive walking routes away from busy roads, ensuring safe and enjoyable walks.
About: Hello Rover community! I am writing this while currently on a Housesit/dogsit for another site. I have had dogs in the family for 15 years and have spent the last year looking after our 4 legged friends on and off for family and friends. Just recently, I became a digital nomad (work from anywhere, anytime) so I am exploring things to do alongside my work to give me some balance - so far, dog sitting has been the answer! As a digital nomad (work from anywhere, anytime) as long as I get my hours done, I can work around the schedule you have established with your pupper. I am available pretty much everyday, but later part of the week and weekends are often better. I will follow your established routine. In this way, it's a seamless transition for your dog. I love a good walk in the park, local woods, or the like - and if your pupper does too, we will get on just fine. I won't hesitate to call you should that be needed, but equally, I am keen to give you a break if that's needed (or alternatively, send you lots of photos if your missing your pupper). Your companion will be in safe hands.
About: I have looked after dogs throughout my childhood. I have had my own dog for the last 9 years. It’s been the best 9 years of my life. I work part time as a nurse. I am free during the week and weekends. Always make time for dogs. They are my essence of my life. I have a secure back yard. No chance of escape. Dog are more than welcome to sleep on my bed. Can adopt to the dogs needs and routine.
About: Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. I have hands-on experience with small to medium dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need patience and gentle care. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, because I believe great pet care is never one-size-fits-all. I have experience administering basic medications, following special dietary needs, and recognising early signs of stress or illness. Safety is always my top priority, whether that means careful leash handling, secure environments, or close supervision during playtime. I also understand how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, so I provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication to give owners complete peace of mind. I also have two welcoming and playful resident 5 year old Shih Tzu's Teddy and Dolly who love to meet new friends. I’m retired, which means I’m home full-time and able to give your dog constant attention and companionship throughout their stay. I only board one dog at a time (unless pets are from the same household), so your dog will never be overwhelmed and will receive truly personalised care. This quiet, low-stress environment is perfect for dogs who enjoy one-on-one attention, seniors, or pups who don’t do well in busy boarding settings. Your dog will be treated like family and cared for as if they were my own. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and fresh air throughout the day. I’m also certified in Ofqual Level 3 Home Boarding, which means I meet high standards for safety, welfare, and professional pet care. This training allows me to provide knowledgeable, responsible care in a calm home environment, giving pet parents confidence that their dog is in experienced and capable hands.

They were really flexible with both drop off and pick up and their communication was great throughout, with regular pupdates 🐶 They kept her active, engaged, and really took the time to understand her individual needs. I could tell she was very happy and well looked after! Thank you 🐾

Merlin had a fantastic day with Daniel. From the moment we arrived, he was so welcoming and reassuring, and it was clear Merlin was going to be very well looked after. He came home happy, relaxed and clearly had a great time. The videos and photos Daniel sent from Merlin’s walk were brilliant and gave us real peace of mind, especially seeing how happy and settled he was. We would 100% recommend and will definitely be booking again. Thank you!
