About: We have taken care of dogs and cats since we were both in our teens, we are both animal lovers and will treat your animals like they are our own. We have have both owned a number of different breeds from small dogs such as Jack Russell’s to big dogs like huskies and we have a lot of experience with staffy’s. We are both trained in basic doggie first aid and CPR as well as fully insured ⛑️ so you can rest assured your dogs are in safe hands. Pet sitting and walking is my full time job and my partner works part time so we are both available most of the time. We don’t walk on Sundays. I have a back tat that has high walls and a high fence. We have the best of both World as we do not currently live together so we can accommodate dogs that do not get on with other dogs as Ella can stay either of our homes. We are fully insured for Dog walking and pet sitting and we can provide the proof of this.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/ponies from a young age.All my friends and family rely on me to care for their fury friends. I love animals so much and I always put their needs first. Having had ponies and dogs from being a baby I have been brought up caring for animals and ensuring their needs are met. I have a flexible working from home job currently so can be on hand to look after your dogs whenever needed. Pet care is part of my daily life and I have 2 loving babies of my own. I have a fenced yard, and 10 acres to keep your pups busy. I treat my own dogs like they are family and they are allowed on the furniture, however if your dog isn’t used to this and is crate trained and sleeps in a bed this is something I can also provide.

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. This includes puppy training, looking after blind/deaf dogs, group walks, bathing and administering medication. Additionally I have a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and a Canine First Aid qualification. I am currently available during the daytime (7.00 - 17.30 location depending) from Monday to Friday, rain or shine. No evenings or weekends for now. Your pet will be my sole focus as I don’t have any of my own dogs (or kids!) running around the house. My cat is ok with dogs but it is easy to keep them apart if needed as she spends most of her time exploring outside. I am happy to cater to your pet’s needs, whether that’s long off lead walks up to the Haslingden Halo, or just lots of cosy cuddles on the settee. Most importantly I am Canine Emergency First Aid trained, meaning your dog would be in very safe hands.

About: 🐾 Hey there, pet parents! My love for furry companions has whisked me straight into the wonderful world of Rover, where every day is a tail-wagging adventure. Trust me, I know how crucial it is to find a reliable buddy for your four-legged friends. Growing up in a zoo—oops, I mean a household bursting with pets—has made me a firm believer that life without them would be like a dog without a bone! Currently, I’m the proud parent of a spirited 1-year-old German Weimaraner and a cheeky 2-year-old Miniature Dachshund. These two are not just pets; they’re the life of the paw-ty, charming every dog they meet with their friendly antics! With beautiful walking trails right outside my door, we’ll have a howling good time exploring the local area together. But wait, there’s more! I have an outdoor garden space that’s fully fenced off—perfect for letting the pups run wild while being monitored by CCTV. Safety first, right? And to top it all off, every doggy daycare experience comes with a warm bath before collection, so your furry friend will leave looking—and smelling—fantastic! So, don’t hesitate to reach out—let’s chat about how I can help you and your furry friend! We’re all eagerly waiting to meet you. **A quick note:** Please make sure your dog is up to date with vaccinations and flea/worming treatments before booking. I’m all about providing flexible, attentive care that perfectly suits your pet’s needs—no dog left behind! 🐾 I’m home full-time, offering 24/7 supervision and care—because who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by cuteness all day? Walk times are completely customizable to fit your dog's routine, so don’t be shy! Share your preferences, and I’ll make it happen. With extensive experience in dog behaviour , I’m on a mission to create a safe and fun environment for all furry guests. 1. 24/7 Supervision:I’m home full-time, providing constant supervision to ensure that every dog feels secure and comfortable throughout the day. 2. Safe Outdoor Space: I have a fully fenced outdoor garden with CCTV monitoring, allowing the pups to play and explore safely while I keep an eye on them. 3. Customisable Routine: I tailor walk times and activities to suit each dog's individual needs and preferences, ensuring they get the exercise and stimulation they require. 4. Socialisation: I facilitate playtime with my own dogs and other daycare guests, promoting healthy social interactions and helping them make new friends. 5. Hygiene and Comfort:Each doggy daycare session includes a warm bath before collection, so they leave looking and smelling great. I also maintain a clean and tidy space to ensure a healthy environment. 6. Experience in Behaviour: With extensive knowledge of dog behaviour, I can recognise and respond to each dog's unique personality, ensuring they feel happy and relaxed during their stay. 7. Communication:I keep pet parents updated on their dog's activities and well-being so they can feel confident and connected while they’re away. By combining love, attention, and safety, I strive to provide a fantastic experience for every furry friend in my care!

About: When I was a child, my family rescued 2 Siberian Huskies, and I was solely responsible for their needs, including feeding, walking, training and overall caring. My love of dogs has inspired me to do in-depth research about different breeds of dogs and their behaviour for a number of years. As a kid I volunteered at a local shelter, helping to clean and walk the dogs, and when I moved to England, I helped friends and neighbours to take care and walk their dogs free of charge as it was a time that I wasn't able to own a dog. I recently had the opportunity to adopt my own puppy this year, and I have made it a priority to ensure that he is well behaved and well trained. I am currently available full time across the week Monday to Sunday for all your dog needs. I give my puppy all the attention he requires, and I will do the same for your dog too. I have a fully enclosed back garden for your dog to play in, and a friendly puppy that loves to play. We have a separate room for a dog if they need some rest or alone time, with a crate inside if you so desire us to use it.

About: My partner Tom and I have always loved dogs and have experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Jack Russells, Doodles and Doberman crosses. We regularly look after friends’ dogs, and we both grew up with dogs of our own—my Doberman-Labrador cross, Dexter, and Tom’s Shar Pei, Benson. We offer dog walking, drop-in visits and boarding, and enjoy tailoring each stay to suit the individual dog. We’re lucky to have a secure garden and fields just a couple of minutes from our home, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime and exploring. As both Tom and I work shifts, there are many days when we’re home for extended periods and able to give dogs lots of companionship and attention. We only accept bookings when we know we can provide the time and care each dog deserves. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, getting out and about or simply relaxing on the sofa, our aim is to make them feel safe, happy and part of the family while they’re with us. As both Tom and I work shifts, our availability varies from week to week. We keep our calendars up to date and only accept bookings when we know we can give dogs the time and attention they deserve. Our shift patterns often mean we have full days at home, allowing us to provide regular walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day and night. We only have availability when we are not on shift. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. We have a secure fenced garden and always follow the routine and instructions provided by owners, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements and any medications. We take the time to help dogs settle into their surroundings and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is being well cared for. We offer boarding, home visits and walks.

About: Hi im charlie i have one little boy and a chihuhua named Elsie, i spend most of my free time caring for and fussing my furry little best friend Elsie.
Elsie loves an adventure, she will walk for miles and loves a challenge. Myself and Elsie know the town and surrounding areas very well and know many lovely walks.
My passion for dogs started with my grandmas sheepdogs, then grew when i got my own little forever friend 4 years ago. It has been such a pleasure seeing her grow and creating memories with her and i cant wait to do that with many other dogs. In my services I will provide, water, treats and dog biscuits for your dog. I have a few local parks which are dog friendly and also a massive playing field.. which enables me to let your dog of the lead and run free if you are comfortable with me doing this. When your pet stays over for some time or the night they would have their own comfortable bed with a blanket in the dining room. I have a decent size house with two big living area down stairs, one is a dining room and then a small kitchen on the end. My dog Elsie has free roam of the house at night time and she is welcome to come upstairs.
I have a secure enclosed yard at the end of the house where the dogs can go outside for the toilet, my Elsie prefers to go to the grass patch at the top of my street, I can take your dog there in the morning and throughout the day. There is a lovely park at the end of my street very suitable for dogs and a massive playing field a few streets up from that too, there I could let your dog off if we have built that trust and relationship between ourselves.
I live with my partner, my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. My partner loves animals and he's brilliant with our dog, he's always loved with dogs and I can assure you that your dog will be warm welcomed and made to feel at home. I am generally quite flexible with my time, I work part time and in my spare time I look after my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. I am mostly available between the times 1:30-4:30 pm then available again 6:30- 8:30. I can take them with or without my chihuahua Elsie, it is totally your preference but she is friendly and probably wouldn't take much interest in your dog unless they are similar. I am comfortable administering medication, in forms like tablets or through a syringe. I am not medically trained but if it has instructions and is simple enough I would certainly have no issues doing it.
I know how important it is for you and your dog to trust and feel safe with your dog walker, so i would be willing to meet up with you first before my first inital walk with your dog. I have always been very good with dogs and It is my aim to make every furry friend feel happy, loved and cared for in my care.  I will keep you updated with plenty of pictures and videos, to keep you from missing your furry friend.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Hyndburn

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Hyndburn on Rover is £21.85 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 2,437 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Hyndburn. About 87% of Hyndburn sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Hyndburn commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
