Absolutely a legend person! He took care of my dog while I was working at 5:30am! And bring him back to my house. If you are working early hours and need someone to look after your dog THIS IS THE PERSON! I cannot wait to book with him once again!

Merlin loved his first day with Carrie and her lovely dog Bella - they had loads of outdoor time and plenty of time for snoozing too, he can’t wait to come back and so glad to have someone local who he enjoys the company of! 💚

About: Always had a dog in my life. Whether that be my own or other people's. Since a young age, I have looked after dogs of all kinds. At age 10 I started walking neighbours dogs. At age 12 I helped bring up a litter of pups and watched the mummy give birth. At age 15 I got my own puppy he was a cross breed and he was a very reactive dog but I trained him to be a good boy. At age 17 to 19 I rescued a female staffy and an American bulldog from the kennels. Had a break and then bought my simba when he was 8 weeks old he is friendly and well behaved and he's the best company. I tell him all my secrets and he has never spoke a word 😂. I've no commitments other than the school run and a typical day with simba is breakfast then a nice long walk in the fields. Lots of playing fetch and exploring. Simba then likes to have a nap. He wakes up has his dinner then wants to play catch or fetch. We spend lot of time in the garden if the weather's OK. When the kids come home simba likes to play with them he enjoys ripping up paper and plastic wrappers just making a mess really 😂 it's all good aslong as he's happy and id treat your dog as if it's my own ☺️ they are in safe hands. We then go on another walk to the park after tea then we come home and get cosy. The garden is fenced. Simba can also keep your dogs company. The children are gentle and love dogs. Please don't ask me to look after your dog if it is NOT OK left alone as I will have to be out on the school run during the week twice a day. I'll never leave dogs in the same room alone. We as a family look forward to meeting your fur babies.

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. This includes puppy training, looking after blind/deaf dogs, group walks, bathing and administering medication. Additionally I have a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and a Canine First Aid qualification. I am currently available during the daytime (7.00 - 17.30 location depending) from Monday to Friday, rain or shine. No evenings or weekends for now. Your pet will be my sole focus as I don’t have any of my own dogs (or kids!) running around the house. My cat is ok with dogs but it is easy to keep them apart if needed as she spends most of her time exploring outside. I am happy to cater to your pet’s needs, whether that’s long off lead walks up to the Haslingden Halo, or just lots of cosy cuddles on the settee. Most importantly I am Canine Emergency First Aid trained, meaning your dog would be in very safe hands.

About: My partner Tom and I have always loved dogs and have experience caring for a variety of breeds, including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Jack Russells, Doodles and Doberman crosses. We regularly look after friends’ dogs, and we both grew up with dogs of our own—my Doberman-Labrador cross, Dexter, and Tom’s Shar Pei, Benson. We offer dog walking, drop-in visits and boarding, and enjoy tailoring each stay to suit the individual dog. We’re lucky to have a secure garden and fields just a couple of minutes from our home, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime and exploring. As both Tom and I work shifts, there are many days when we’re home for extended periods and able to give dogs lots of companionship and attention. We only accept bookings when we know we can provide the time and care each dog deserves. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, getting out and about or simply relaxing on the sofa, our aim is to make them feel safe, happy and part of the family while they’re with us. As both Tom and I work shifts, our availability varies from week to week. We keep our calendars up to date and only accept bookings when we know we can give dogs the time and attention they deserve. Our shift patterns often mean we have full days at home, allowing us to provide regular walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day and night. We only have availability when we are not on shift. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. We have a secure fenced garden and always follow the routine and instructions provided by owners, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements and any medications. We take the time to help dogs settle into their surroundings and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pet is being well cared for. We offer boarding, home visits and walks.

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our dog Ruby over the last three days. From the moment Ruby arrived, it was clear she was in such caring and capable hands. She has been absolutely amazing with both Ruby and her lovely dog Bella, who Ruby got on so well with. We received regular updates, photos and reassurance throughout, which made us feel completely at ease. Ruby has been so well looked after, loved and treated like part of the family. It’s obvious how experienced, kind and attentive she is with dogs, and Ruby came home happy, relaxed and clearly very comfortable there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and genuinely caring dog sitter/daycare. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of Ruby!
