“Minx and Lewis are amazing cat sitters! They've looked after our boys several times now and each time they've cared for our boys like they are their own cats. Minx is very rapid with communication and keeps you updated with messages, pictures and videos. 100% recommend using them to take care of your pets.”

“Lucy is a fantastic sitter! She came and had a pre meeting with us first to help the first visit, which put our minds at ease. Bertie loved seeing her and playing whilst we were at work. The reports she gave us were very detailed and gave us a great insight into some of new puppies behaviours. We will be definitely be calling on her services again in the near future!”

“Tara is obviously very passionate about dogs and caring for them. I needed someone to call in and spend time with my pup while I worked overtime and she did a brilliant job, cleaning up any mess he left and bringing enrichment toys to get his mind working. She was considerate of his needs, trustworthy and punctual, and I will definitely be contacting her again!”

“Rosita is amazing. She can handle my anxious dog and she knows how to read my dog's body language. Even though my dog is quite elusive, she managed her well and she gave us updates for the visits.”

About: I have been surrounded by every kind of dog since a very young age. I have taken care of numerous family, neighbours and friends dogs which include plenty of walks, playtime and feeding. My family has rescued our current dog who was unfortunately abused and bred to fight, luckily we got a hold of her before anything untoward happened. This taught me to be incredibly patient and kind working with her to gain her trust and now she’s the most loving and caring dog you’d ever meet. This has made me incredibly aware that unfortunately not every dog is blessed with a great start in life and I can understand why some dogs may be more timid or anxious than others, which is why I’d love a little chat beforehand to get to know more about your dog so I can really try cater to them and provide a calm and reassuring presence for them! I currently work part-time, but my hours are super flexible so I am confident we would be able to come up with a suitable time/ day that accommodates everyone. At the back of the house is a medium sized garden that is fenced off, allowing for a safe and playful environment for your dog !

I will treat your fur-babies like they are my own and ensure that the best possible care is provided to them. I work from home full time so I have the flexibility to work around yours and your pets needs when needed. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
