About: Myself and my partner Toby offer dog-walking, doggy daycare and overnight sitting in the Calder Valley. For dog-walking, We offer group walking in the morning or afternoon and can collect your dog from your home, take them for a one hour walk and drop them back home. We can run or walk (and, of course, play Stick) with energetic dogs or do more chilled walks with smaller and elderly dogs. We can also do solo walks for dogs who may struggle in company. For sitting and day-care: Your dog will be with us in our home, getting one to one attention - lots of games and cuddles and access to a garden for fresh air breaks. We walk our guests 3 times a day in the woods and fields near our house. We can look after older dogs who need regular toilet breaks (although our house does have steps up to it). We can take on a second or third dog from the same family or friends whose dogs know each other and get on well. My favourite breeds are the retriever and the sight-hounds families; I also love Cockerpoos, Daschunds and Border Terriers, in fact I am discovering new favourite breeds all the time! Toby's are similar he also likes Afghan Hounds, having grown up with one, Golden Doodles, a Lurcher (Bedlington/ whippet) that recently stayed and a Bulldog that he has recently been walking. We look forward to meeting many new breeds in the future. Apart from walking and looking after dogs, I am a researcher and writer and Toby is a tutor. Most of our work is from home, so we can make sure the dogs are happy and then do our other work with the dogs as company. We tend to organise our day so that one of us is always around to look after the dogs. We also enjoy hiking, running and going to local shows and fetes, pubs and cafes, so if your dog is well behaved they can come everywhere with us and enjoy the excitement. In our home the dogs can relax on their beds, the sofa or on a blanket where we are working or relaxing. They can visit the garden when they wish or if it's a nice day and we are outside they are welcome to join us!

About: I absolutely love cats and dogs and have over 10 years experience living with and taking care of them. My friends and family refer to me as the ‘cat whisperer’ and I'm known to befriend dogs at every opportunity. As I don't have pets of my own anymore, over the past few years I've started offering my petsitting services to a small number of friends and family members. I'm now excited to offer my services to a small network in my local community. Whether it’s a high energy walk in the hills, a quiet evening of cuddles or a week-long stay, my goal is to bring your pet joy and total safety. I’m reliable, friendly and an excellent communicator (who will keep you updated with photos of your pet if you like), and I promise to leave your home just as tidy as I found it! I usually work remotely so I can be flexible to the needs of your pets, making sure they get all the love and fuss they need! I'm usually available for full day petsitting if you're away at work (8.30am - 5.30pm) and overnight stays. My calendar is fairly flexible and I'll do my best to accommodate what you and your pet needs. I'm a trustworthy and compassionate person who will look after your home and pets as if they're my own. I pride myself in creating a happy and calm environment for pets while respecting the environment they live in. I'm super clean and tidy and will always leave your home as I found it.

About: I have grown up around dogs so have the experienced needed to make sure your dog is taken the best care of. Wether big or small, a good boy or good girl, you can rely on me to walk, feed, bathe and sit your dog as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel like you're leaving your dog in capable and loving hands; your dog will be safe and have a whole lot of fun on outings with me. Sometimes I will even bring my own dog Yogy too so they can make friends. Reliable, affordable and providing your dog with walkie's that are easy for you. I have previous experience dog walking and currently my walking schedule is approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm during weekdays. I never take dogs out in groups bigger than four and can offer private walks too. Weekends walks and sitting are subject to availability. It is of the upmost importance to me that your dog is safe whilst in my care. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home as to not unsettle them in different settings but am also able to care for dogs in my flat too. I always make sure my pals are well fed and watered with regular toilet breaks. Whilst on walks dog's remain on the lead until in an open space in a park or field where I feel comfortable to let them run freely. This is of course a conversation between the owner and myself as we access your dogs needs and confidence and so I will provide my method accordingly.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.

About: Currently I work part time from home teaching English online. I can only accept dogs that are happy to have 4 hours of downtime while I’m online! Outside of that I have a lot of time for walks and play, it’s really a pleasure to have a dog in the house, even when I can't commit to having my own full time at the moment as I often travel. Happy to have rescues / anxious dogs as I used to have a rescue Greyhound and we can offer a quiet calm environment at home. Also happy to arrange a meet and greet before hand so your dog can meet me before they come to stay and you can let me know their requirements! I usually work 9-1, so will fit in a 45 minute walk before this and a 45 minute walk after. I have breaks in between classes I’d anyone needs a wee break and happy to really do as many walks as your dog would like! I'm available 7 days a week for bookings, but don’t work Sunday or Monday for any higher energy dogs that I can’t accept when I have work. I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! I live with my best friend, Alex, who is also a big animal lover and mostly works from home so there will always be one of us free for belly rubs.

About: I am a trustworthy and reliable dog walker/sitter based in Todmorden, Calderdale. I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). I am comfortable with dogs of all sorts of temperaments and have experience caring for anxious dogs. I have a flexible approach so that you get the care that suits your dogs needs and ensure you get the level of communication you want throughout. I specialise in solo walks and ad hoc holiday care. I already regularly walk a staffy and look after a yorkshire terrior/jack russell cross on a weekly basis. Otherwise i work part-time (and quite flexibly) from home so am very available to give lots of attention to any dogs in my care. I live with very close to lots of great walks as well! I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa if you are! i have spacious living room and kitchen as well as an enclosed yard. All my houseplants are high up out of reach a well as i've known a few dogs that like to try and nibble these!! If looking after a dog in the owners home i obvously treat it with respect and follow their instructions on the dogs home routine.

About: Having grown up with a dog and now have a cat, I have cared for many other dogs both professionally and in my family I have experience with dogs ranging from puppies to older and much larger dogs. I have been trusted to walk, play with and bathe dogs and have experience with dogs with challenging behaviours. I am a freelance photographer so I will have a lot of days free in-between shoots or weddings, I can be available most days and nights provided I have enough notice. I can come to your home where your pet is more comfortable and play with them, let them out and take them for walks around an area that they know. I will always be vigilant and ensure your dogs and others safety at all times.

I currently reside in a lovely new build property in Bradford, featuring five bedrooms and a large rear garden located on a quiet cul-de-sac. I've set up a small play area inside our garage specifically for the pets. I have a five-year-old Yorkshire Terrier whom I take for walks twice a day. As I work full-time working from home , Hence I am home with my dog for most of the time. Additionally, I have installed CCTV inside the house to keep a close eye on them. The garden is fenced, providing a secure environment, and my little Yorkie is a delightful companion to keep your pet entertained. About: From a young age I have always been fond of all animals and as a family we took on the role as puppy walkers for Guide Dogs. One puppy we adopted unfortunately developed arthritis so could no longer carry on the training but this allowed us to keep him and we had a fantastic 13 years together. He made my childhood and although in adulthood I haven't taken a dog on myself, I am a serial dog auntie to many and offered dog walks and pet sitting to friends/family/colleagues/neighbours etc before I started extending this to services on Rover. I am a really keen walker and know some great dog friendly routes but also always keen for the excuse to find new ones. I do work but have flexibility in my schedule and can work from home too which means I am on hand to be with pets in the day. I do not have the commitments of kids or other pets myself so again can offer that flexible care in the week to meet the needs of different people and their pets. I offer hands on care to ensure the safety and comfort and any pet I am responsible for. I want owners to feel assured their beloved animals are in safe hands. I am flexible to follow the wishes of owners to meet the individual needs of their pets, (however quirky they may be).

About: I have had animals all my life ! From hamsters to dogs cats birds everything ! I have trained and looked after every dog my self that I have owned , and I take special care of every one of them including the rescue animals I have recused myself and rehomed .i am also willing to travel I’m currently working for part time and I have many days free to play and care for your pets ! Ik pets need special attention and care and I would love to give them that My garden is huge and fenced so your pet has plenty of free space to wonder .
