About: I absolutely love cats and dogs and have over 10 years experience living with and taking care of them. My friends and family refer to me as the ‘cat whisperer’ and I'm known to befriend dogs at every opportunity. As I don't have pets of my own anymore, over the past few years I've started offering my petsitting services to a small number of friends and family members. I'm now excited to offer my services to a small network in my local community. Whether it’s a high energy walk in the hills, a quiet evening of cuddles or a week-long stay, my goal is to bring your pet joy and total safety. I’m reliable, friendly and an excellent communicator (who will keep you updated with photos of your pet if you like), and I promise to leave your home just as tidy as I found it! I usually work remotely so I can be flexible to the needs of your pets, making sure they get all the love and fuss they need! I'm usually available for full day petsitting if you're away at work (8.30am - 5.30pm) and overnight stays. My calendar is fairly flexible and I'll do my best to accommodate what you and your pet needs. I'm a trustworthy and compassionate person who will look after your home and pets as if they're my own. I pride myself in creating a happy and calm environment for pets while respecting the environment they live in. I'm super clean and tidy and will always leave your home as I found it.

About: Currently I work part time from home teaching English online. I can only accept dogs that are happy to have 4 hours of downtime while I’m online! Outside of that I have a lot of time for walks and play, it’s really a pleasure to have a dog in the house, even when I can't commit to having my own full time at the moment as I often travel. Happy to have rescues / anxious dogs as I used to have a rescue Greyhound and we can offer a quiet calm environment at home. Also happy to arrange a meet and greet before hand so your dog can meet me before they come to stay and you can let me know their requirements! I usually work 9-1, so will fit in a 45 minute walk before this and a 45 minute walk after. I have breaks in between classes I’d anyone needs a wee break and happy to really do as many walks as your dog would like! I'm available 7 days a week for bookings, but don’t work Sunday or Monday for any higher energy dogs that I can’t accept when I have work. I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! I live with my best friend, Alex, who is also a big animal lover and mostly works from home so there will always be one of us free for belly rubs.

About: I am a trustworthy and reliable dog walker/sitter based in Todmorden, Calderdale. I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). I am comfortable with dogs of all sorts of temperaments and have experience caring for anxious dogs. I have a flexible approach so that you get the care that suits your dogs needs and ensure you get the level of communication you want throughout. I specialise in solo walks and ad hoc holiday care. I already regularly walk a staffy and look after a yorkshire terrior/jack russell cross on a weekly basis. Otherwise i work part-time (and quite flexibly) from home so am very available to give lots of attention to any dogs in my care. I live with very close to lots of great walks as well! I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa if you are! i have spacious living room and kitchen as well as an enclosed yard. All my houseplants are high up out of reach a well as i've known a few dogs that like to try and nibble these!! If looking after a dog in the owners home i obvously treat it with respect and follow their instructions on the dogs home routine.

About: I have grown up around dogs so have the experienced needed to make sure your dog is taken the best care of. Wether big or small, a good boy or good girl, you can rely on me to walk, feed, bathe and sit your dog as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel like you're leaving your dog in capable and loving hands; your dog will be safe and have a whole lot of fun on outings with me. Sometimes I will even bring my own dog Yogy too so they can make friends. Reliable, affordable and providing your dog with walkie's that are easy for you. I have previous experience dog walking and currently my walking schedule is approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm during weekdays. I never take dogs out in groups bigger than four and can offer private walks too. Weekends walks and sitting are subject to availability. It is of the upmost importance to me that your dog is safe whilst in my care. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home as to not unsettle them in different settings but am also able to care for dogs in my flat too. I always make sure my pals are well fed and watered with regular toilet breaks. Whilst on walks dog's remain on the lead until in an open space in a park or field where I feel comfortable to let them run freely. This is of course a conversation between the owner and myself as we access your dogs needs and confidence and so I will provide my method accordingly.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.

About: I have been a pet owner all my life since I was you child to an adult, I look after my family’s pets when they go away and my friends pets as well. I have help out neighbours with their pets like vet appointment, dog sitting and taking their 4 legged friends on great walks around the area. I have a full time job where my shift patterns can be 5 days one week and 2 days the other which gives me plenty of time to spend with my dog. I have a back yard which is fenced off, I have 3 year old cocker spaniel called Luna which loves making new friends, she always has a smile on her face when she’s playing with her box of toys.

About: With over six years of hands-on experience working on a petting farm from the age of 14 to 20, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — from livestock to a variety of dog breeds. Growing up in a dog-loving home, especially with high-energy breeds like collies, has given me a deep understanding of canine behaviour, needs, and personalities. Whether it’s providing calm companionship or active playtime, I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work full time as a teacher but I am free most weekends and evenings! This also means I’m off during school holidays all day so can cater for all pet needs in that time! I have a fenced yard with a border collie. Our home is dog and pet friendly! We live close to good walks for all the doggy walking needs!

About: From a young age I have always been fond of all animals and as a family we took on the role as puppy walkers for Guide Dogs. One puppy we adopted unfortunately developed arthritis so could no longer carry on the training but this allowed us to keep him and we had a fantastic 13 years together. He made my childhood and although in adulthood I haven't taken a dog on myself, I am a serial dog auntie to many and offered dog walks and pet sitting to friends/family/colleagues/neighbours etc before I started extending this to services on Rover. I am a really keen walker and know some great dog friendly routes but also always keen for the excuse to find new ones. I do work but have flexibility in my schedule and can work from home too which means I am on hand to be with pets in the day. I do not have the commitments of kids or other pets myself so again can offer that flexible care in the week to meet the needs of different people and their pets. I offer hands on care to ensure the safety and comfort and any pet I am responsible for. I want owners to feel assured their beloved animals are in safe hands. I am flexible to follow the wishes of owners to meet the individual needs of their pets, (however quirky they may be).

About: I have had animals all my life ! From hamsters to dogs cats birds everything ! I have trained and looked after every dog my self that I have owned , and I take special care of every one of them including the rescue animals I have recused myself and rehomed .i am also willing to travel I’m currently working for part time and I have many days free to play and care for your pets ! Ik pets need special attention and care and I would love to give them that My garden is huge and fenced so your pet has plenty of free space to wonder . About: As a teen I’m very energetic and let loving. Many playful walks and have a flexible day to plan the walks around to make sure I cover all your needs I work week days but will always have time to walk dogs after work or sit them over the weekend period which can be discussed Every dog will get a equal amount of loving and care and attention as the last one or the next one. I work from home, so I'll be able to cater to all of your pup's needs; lots of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles! Our home is entirely puppy-proof, so do not worry if you're dog is young, that is not a problem at all. I will respectfully follow the boundaries that you have set for your dog, but I am also happy for your dog to sleep on our bed and cuddle up on our sofa. If your dog is in-training, let me know and I will continue to practice with them! I am experienced with dog training and setting solid boundaries. We welcome every dog, but we do require your furry friend to be comfortable/friendly around other dogs because our dog (Bella) will always be present in our home. Your pup must also be happy/comfortable around new people :) After all, the last thing we'd ever want to do is stress out or upset your dog because they don't feel comfortable around our dog or us. Working from home means that I can provide your dog with everything they could possibly need. I am also happy to advise and assist with training, if desired. We have a long, fully-fenced garden. About: I have had family pets since being little, I’ve absolutely loved growing up with dogs in the home, and now I have my own frankfurter the Daschund (Frankie) I’ve always taken the role of taking care of the dogs throughout my childhood, and often look after my sisters & friends dogs now. I love the opportunity of meeting new dogs I’m very much a dog person. I’ve recently been made redundant so this is a fantastic opportunity for me to get out the house, get some steps in and meet new dogs in the area so my availability is pretty open. I have a fenced garden area to the back that is secure, and a dog myself at home for company for your dog. If your fur baby is crate trained there is room for that option too.

About: Hi! My name is Ceridwen (nicknamed Sam in the US) and I absolutely love this job. I relocated to Wales a year ago after living in France, New Zealand, and multiple cities in the States. I really love building ongoing relationships with pups. My favorite part of Rover is not only gaining a new companion, but I thoroughly enjoy the process of meeting people through the love of their animals (I've met two best friends on here!). Additionally, being a part of Rover has complimented my lifestyle as a student and nomad. I've been on the Rover platform for 11 years, but outside of this, I'm a certified trainer with five years of hands-on experience working in behavior modification. I've worked with fear-aggression, anxiety, dog-aggression, and basic obedience under behaviorists at The Dog Psychology Center in Los Angeles. My 200 hour mentorship was under The Mutt Mentor in Sonoma, CA. The majority of dogs I work with can be described as "selective." I'm comfortable with dogs (and animals in general) that are particular with people as I can offer a very unassuming, gentle approach that quickly earns trust. I always ask people to leave as much detail as possible in regard to their pup's daily routine so I can follow it to the best of my ability. Please note that I am best suited for those that have jobs in which they leave periodically throughout the day and I do not provide what is referred to as "constant care," as I sometimes have a lecture or short shift to get to. My prices reflect this and I am more than happy to chat to make sure it's a good fit! When I housesit, I do stay overnight at the home with the dog. Housesitting is definitely my preference. Over the years, I have found this eliminates the first few days of stress that I see in most boarding situations. I do not currently have any dogs of my own. I always let people know that when I'm not taking care of the dog's walks or feeding, I can typically be found hanging out with them watching movies or reading a book. I'm happy to take garbage and recycling out, grab mail, and attend to anything else you need! I will never snoop through people's things or take anything unless given permission. Your home will always be left better than you left it. :)

About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was born. I have had a range of different breed dogs including Labradors as well as an English Bull Terrier. I know how to train dogs and care for dogs as I have 20 years of 'unprofessional' experience, you could say. I also have walked dogs through apps such as Borrow My Doggy and have had a successful experience there. I have previously dog sited friends dogs as well as other family member dogs. I have also cared for others cats. I also am currently trying to improve my photography skills and have taken some lovely photos of my pets as well as my friends and families, so can snap some lovely shots of your animals, can't promise top quality :) I'm currently on my masters placement year. I am in work 3 days a work but work from home most days. I am looking to earn some money while also spending time with animals, which I love!
