About: I am a trustworthy and reliable dog walker/sitter based in Todmorden, Calderdale. I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). I am comfortable with dogs of all sorts of temperaments and have experience caring for anxious dogs. I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa if you are! i have spacious living room and kitchen as well as an enclosed yard. All my houseplants are high up out of reach a well as i've known a few dogs that like to try and nibble these!! If looking after a dog in the owners home i obvously treat it with respect and follow their instructions on the dogs home routine.

About: I have grown up around dogs so have the experienced needed to make sure your dog is taken the best care of. Wether big or small, a good boy or good girl, you can rely on me to walk, feed, bathe and sit your dog as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel like you're leaving your dog in capable and loving hands; your dog will be safe and have a whole lot of fun on outings with me. Sometimes I will even bring my own dog Yogy too so they can make friends. Reliable, affordable and providing your dog with walkie's that are easy for you. I have previous experience dog walking and currently my walking schedule is approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm during weekdays. I never take dogs out in groups bigger than four and can offer private walks too. Weekends walks and sitting are subject to availability. It is of the upmost importance to me that your dog is safe whilst in my care. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home as to not unsettle them in different settings but am also able to care for dogs in my flat too. I always make sure my pals are well fed and watered with regular toilet breaks. Whilst on walks dog's remain on the lead until in an open space in a park or field where I feel comfortable to let them run freely. This is of course a conversation between the owner and myself as we access your dogs needs and confidence and so I will provide my method accordingly.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.

There is also access to crates for dogs who are crate-trained or prefer having their own safe, cosy space to relax. Your house sit would be no different. I have been used to global pet sits of 1 to 2 months at a time, but equally, as I type, I'm sharing the sofa with a new furry pal in Suffolk for the week. It is unlikely that I would take any offers below 7 days. I am looking for pet sits during vacation from work. As such, my schedule would be adaptable to best match that of your beloved pet. I'm happy to explore the local woods & surroundings for up to 3hrs, dependent on the needs of your dog, and would keep to all of their normal scheduled meal / rest times. I like to pet sit to be with the pets, it is that simple. I could fly away and lay on the beach for a week or so, or maybe take myself away to the nearest ski resort, but that is nowhere near enjoyable as plotting a route to explore the woods using Ordinance Survey Apps with a new pal by my side, or playing fetch, tug or grooming. And I don't know why, but a nice pint in a quintessential British pub always tastes better with a pal at your heels.
