About: Alison & I have been together for 27 years and decided to take early retirement, travel around the UK taking in all the sites whilst carrying out sitting services. We are prepared to travel anywhere in the UK for stays of 10 days + and will undertake longer term sits if requested. Throughout our lives have had or looked after both working and utility dogs and understand the importance of keeping the regime that they are use to, Some of our clients have several dogs in one home that have different exercise and dietary requirements and we ensure that given instructions in regards to the what where and when are adhered to. Early retirement has allowed us to travel the UK looking after pets & houses thus allowing us to explore the areas whilst there, so our time is fully dedicated to your pets. We are happy to look after up to 4 dogs in a clients home and we are happy to look after other small pets you may have along side. We do as we are asked by our clients and always get the measure & behaviour of dogs & cats to ensure all sits work out well. We understand that your pets are part of the family and we ensure they are happy and well cared for.

About: We are a friendly, reliable couple with a genuine love of dogs, animals and the outdoors. With three dogs of our own, dogs are very much part of our everyday lives, and we understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. Alongside our practical experience, Shirley holds a Canine Communication Diploma, awarded with Distinction by the Centre of Excellence. This complements our hands-on experience and helps us to understand canine communication, behaviour and the individual ways dogs express themselves. We also prefer focusing on giving dogs stimulating outdoor experiences rather than simply a quick walk around the block. We love the outdoors and enjoy giving dogs opportunities to walk, explore, sniff and enjoy plenty of enrichment. We are also fortunate to have access to private fields giving us fantastic opportunities for outdoor exercise and enrichment, whilst also providing indoor and outdoor spaces to cater for a better environment for any lovable pet and their individual needs. Having two of us means there is plenty of opportunity for companionship, supervision and individual attention. We understand that every dog is different — from energetic adventurers to older dogs who simply enjoy a gentle wander and plenty of affection — and we adapt our approach accordingly. Above all, we want you to be able to leave your dog with us knowing they will be treated with kindness, patience and respect. We don't just look after dogs — we want them to genuinely enjoy their time with us. 🐾 Caring for dogs fits naturally into our everyday life. As mentioned we have three dogs of our own, so walks, feeding, play, exercise and companionship are already part of our normal daily routine, along with anything else our beloved pets throw at us. We both enjoy being outdoors and can structure our days around the dogs in our care rather than trying to fit them into a busy schedule. Safety and trust are extremely important to us. We understand that leaving your dog with somebody new can be worrying, so we want owners to feel completely comfortable and confident about the care their pet will receive. We have access to private fields with limitrd and no access, providing a better oppurtunity and environment for exercise, enrichment away from public spaces. We are also developing dedicated indoor and outdoor areas so dogs can have appropriate spaces for activity, rest and relaxation. We will always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walking, leads, routines, interaction with other dogs and any individual requirements. We never assume that because something is suitable for one dog it will be suitable for another. As we have dogs ourselves, introductions and compatibility are important to us. We want every dog in our care — including our own — to feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to discuss this fully and arrange an introduction before a stay where appropriate. We will provide responsible supervision, plenty of attention and a calm, caring environment, with your dog's welfare always coming first.

During my career as a Quality Manager, I always operated with the upmost professionalism, with integrity and in an open & honest way, and endeavored to instill these values to all of my team. Your house sit would be no different. I have been used to global pet sits of 1 to 2 months at a time, but equally, as I type, I'm sharing the sofa with a new furry pal in Suffolk for the week. It is unlikely that I would take any offers below 7 days. I am looking for pet sits during vacation from work. As such, my schedule would be adaptable to best match that of your beloved pet. I'm happy to explore the local woods & surroundings for up to 3hrs, dependent on the needs of your dog, and would keep to all of their normal scheduled meal / rest times. I like to pet sit to be with the pets, it is that simple. I could fly away and lay on the beach for a week or so, or maybe take myself away to the nearest ski resort, but that is nowhere near enjoyable as plotting a route to explore the woods using Ordinance Survey Apps with a new pal by my side, or playing fetch, tug or grooming. And I don't know why, but a nice pint in a quintessential British pub always tastes better with a pal at your heels.

My oldest dog is extremely anxious and scared - Megan made him feel comfortable whilst also reassuring me he would be in good hands… and he was. Both our dogs were treated like royalty they were completely spoilt and cared for as if they were the ones having a holiday. It gave me the permission to enjoy my holiday with regular updates and seeing how happy they were meant I didn’t need to think twice about leaving them. I was looking for someone that genuinely cared about dogs and wasn’t just doing this as a way to make money and I am so grateful for Megan. About: I’ve taken care of dogs/ponies from a young age.All my friends and family rely on me to care for their fury friends. I love animals so much and I always put their needs first. Having had ponies and dogs from being a baby I have been brought up caring for animals and ensuring their needs are met. I have a flexible working from home job currently so can be on hand to look after your dogs whenever needed. Pet care is part of my daily life and I have 2 loving babies of my own. I have a fenced yard, and 10 acres to keep your pups busy. I treat my own dogs like they are family and they are allowed on the furniture, however if your dog isn’t used to this and is crate trained and sleeps in a bed this is something I can also provide.

She looked after our dog and 2 guinea pigs brilliantly, keeping me in the loop with how they were and sending regular photo updates. She also did a fantastic job of looking after the house and went above and beyond to ensure our early hours return was stressful free. It was wonderful to be away and not worrying about how our fur babies were. I eould highly recommend Imogen and will definitely be requesting her services when we go away in the future.”
