About: Hi! We’re Minx and Lewis, your friendly neighbourhood pet-sitting duo based in Burnley. We’re a couple who basically run on caffeine, cuddles, and animal hair, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love doing every day. We offer both cat sitting and dog care, including walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and plenty of fuss (for those who want it - we fully respect the “look but don’t touch” crowd too). For Minx, cats are a long-time special interest - which means extra enthusiasm, extra attention to detail, and an uncanny ability to decode even the most “mysterious” feline behaviour. Lewis is just as experienced and confident with dogs, especially when it comes to walks, routine, and keeping tails wagging safely and happily. At home, we share our lives (and most of our bed) with our own two cats: Trico, our wise five-year-old gentleman, and Kyurem, our one-year-old chaotic goblin boy. They keep us humble… and very entertained. We’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over a decade, and professionally for the last four years. Whether it’s a shy cat who needs quiet company or an energetic dog who needs a good walk and play, we tailor our care to suit each animal’s personality and routine. We’re excited to bring our love, experience, and reliability to more pet families who want their animals cared for just as thoughtfully as we care for our own. Minx has a part time job during the week while the pet sitting is Lewis’ full time gig, giving us the freedom of our own schedule! We are available 24/7 for pet requests and care, as long as we have ample notice. Specific care requests for each home are taken into consideration, such as if there are baby gates installed to prevent animals from going into certain rooms etc. For all day visits for dogs, they never leave our sight, to ensure their utmost protection!

About: My family have had dogs since I was 6 years old; mad Labradors and German Sheps that think they're puppies still, plus multiple family members have had dogs of all sizes, ages and trained levels. Whilst I was at university up in Scotland and when living in the Lakes I regularly house and dog sat. I just love having dogs around, live a 2 minute walk from a large park, 10 minute walk from the canal paths, also a longer, steeper walk to bridle ways and the moors. The only reason I don't have my own is because I have recently moved to the area (to my own home) and am applying for rescues. I currently work full time (8-4/9-5, depending what I have on that day). 4 days a week from home, 1 day in the office in central Manchester. I go for a walk myself every morning and lunch time, plus have the capacity to go for shorter 'round the block walks' and longer walks either side of my work day. Listening to the owner on the dogs routine, boundaries and toilet and walking habits is key - it takes a looong time and a lot of capacity to establish those, so they will be fully respected. I have a small, walled yard at the front of my house, that I am currently measuring up to build a higher fence (for when I get my own dog and a nice bit of privacy). Whenever I am downstairs in my house I have the front door open, so your dog can pootle in and out at their own leisure. I have space both downstairs and upstairs for a crate or dog bed.

About: As an animal lover and previous dog owner myself, i am very aware of the anxieties leaving your furry members of the family at home can bring, which is why I have created this home away for home experience for your doggies to ensure their tails are wagging and they are truly happy and comfortable. I have vast experience with a wide range of breeds, big, small and even miniature and would be happy to accommodate any specific requirements to enhance your puppies/dogs stay and ensure all their needs are met. My little one (13 months old) is amazing around dogs and loves being outdoors 🐾 so rest assured your fur babies will be included in everything we do! However, if your dog is a little anxious around other dogs or just likes to explore solo, I can accommodate for that too! 🐕 I am currently still on maternity leave, so my availability is pretty broad and your fur babies will never be left alone and get all the love and attention they crave ❤️ Our adventures include exploring somewhere new each time we walk, whether that’s the beautiful scenic spots around Yorkshire (canal, woodland, open fields) or further afield (beach and doggy parks) where they can enjoy all the sights, smells and stimulation they need. However, I understand this could be a lot for some dogs/puppies so would adjust accordingly. I am also willing to offer a pick up and drop off service, depending on time and distance, to ease the process for you and your fur baby. As a nurse I also have an enhanced DBS check. Your pup/dog will have access to my entire flat including sofas and the bed with plenty of space to eat, sleep, rest and play - there’s even a big toy box to choose from 🧦🦖🦴

I am currently working part time so i have plenty of availability and time needed to look after them. I’m also available most weekend and evenings. About: Since starting pet sitting in April'19, I have now completed over 157 weeks of care, from the -30'C Canadian winters to the near 50'C summer in Dubai, remote Caribbean island to the hustle of capital city. Your house sit would be no different. I have been used to global pet sits of 1 to 2 months at a time, but equally, as I type, I'm sharing the sofa with a new furry pal in Suffolk for the week. It is unlikely that I would take any offers below 7 days. I am looking for pet sits during vacation from work. As such, my schedule would be adaptable to best match that of your beloved pet. I'm happy to explore the local woods & surroundings for up to 3hrs, dependent on the needs of your dog, and would keep to all of their normal scheduled meal / rest times. I like to pet sit to be with the pets, it is that simple. I could fly away and lay on the beach for a week or so, or maybe take myself away to the nearest ski resort, but that is nowhere near enjoyable as plotting a route to explore the woods using Ordinance Survey Apps with a new pal by my side, or playing fetch, tug or grooming. And I don't know why, but a nice pint in a quintessential British pub always tastes better with a pal at your heels.

About: There hasn't been a time in my life without dogs. I currently have 2 rescues from the RSPCA; a Dachshund and a Shih Tzu cross Pomeranian. Growing up we had 3 Dalmatians and a Doberman. I am also an experienced small pet owner from gerbils, hamsters and rats through to guinea pigs and rabbits. I know how much your pets mean to you but also how sometimes you go places that aren't best suited for them and just need a helping hand to watch over them. I will always ensure the best care for them and some may say spoil them a bit too much! I work an office job 9-5 so I am available mornings, evenings and weekends. I can do short visits on lunch times if located within nearby proximity. I have grown up with dogs and small pets my whole life so I am well versed in animal care and what they need. I have had dogs of varying temperaments. Most of my dogs have been rescues so all come with their own quirks and needs. I understand how some pets require a little extra t.l.c and some need their own space.
