“Koren was absolutely amazing with my two very old girls (cat and dog), who both have their own little quirks to deal with! She handled it brilliantly and sent me regular reassuring updates which meant I wasn’t worrying. I hope she will come back next time I need a pet sitter :) Thanks so much!”

“Saddique was amazing with my reactive little dog. Great communication, super nice and polite abd clearly has a wonderful way with dogs (even little rascals like mine). The flat was just as I left it, if not tidier! Will absolutely use saddiques services again 😁”

“Jess was brilliant - punctual, friendly and extremely calm with our slightly crazy dog! We returned home to a very happy dog and would use Jess for house sitting again with no hesitation.”

“Amazing cat sitter as seen in our previous reviews, can’t recommend enough and it’s so worth it for the peace of mind that the house and cats are okay so we can enjoy our holidays. Thank you so much! 🐈🐈⬛♥️”

“This is the third time Leah has looked after Kaia and again we’re so so happy. We came home after 10 days to a very happy and healthy pup. It’s clear Kaia adores Leah and spending time with her. She gets lots of play time and attention. Leah is definitely top of our list for dog sitters for our pup.”

About: Hi, I'm a passionate dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, personalities, and needs. I have my own dog, Torrin, a 3-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer (GWP), who keeps me active and has given me valuable experience in training, exercise, and daily care. Over the past two years, I've also regularly looked after two dogs, Hattie and Senga, building strong relationships with both them and their owners. Through caring for multiple dogs, I've developed a good understanding of different temperaments, routines, and requirements, and I'm committed to providing a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for every dog in my care. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I'll treat your dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits very easily into my routine, especially during the week as I'm currently on my university summer break and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-in visits, and general pet care throughout the day. During term time and outside the summer period, I'm also available on occasional weekends and will always communicate my availability clearly in advance. I always aim to follow a pet's usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. Whether caring for pets in my home or in an owner's home, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, along with fresh water, meals, and any other care instructions provided by the owner. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important consistency and communication are. I have a 3-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer, Torrin, and over the past two years I have regularly cared for two other dogs, Hattie and Senga. This experience has helped me become confident in managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel reassured that their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they're away.

About: I've always been an animal lover, and I have been caring for various pets for many years! I have my own cat, Tommy, who I've had the pleasure of taking care of over the past 10 years. Looking after him has given me hands-on experience with everything from feeding and grooming to recognising changes in his behaviour or health. Over the years, i have learned how important patience and building trust is with animals. In addition to caring for my own cat, I've also helped look after a dog for around 5 years. This included regular walks, feeding and playing. I helped with basic training such as reinforcing good behaviours on walks, as well as maintaining good routine and structure with him. As he can be quite an energetic dog, this experience has given me the confidence in handling dogs with various energy levels. I have also taken care of other cats and dogs for shorter periods of time. Whether it's been a few days or a weekend, I always make sure to provide them the best level of care and attention as I would with my own cat. I always ensure that pets in my care feel safe, loved and comfortable. I pay close attention to their needs and personalities to ensure I can give the best care possible. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent care for pets. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I plan my schedule around the needs of the animals I’m looking after. Because I’m not working full-time hours, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time throughout the week. I’m organised and reliable, and I always ensure pets are fed on time, exercised properly, and given lots of attention and affection. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully — including feeding routines, walking schedules, medication (if required), and any specific behavioural needs. I pay close attention to pets at all times and make sure they are kept in a secure and safe environment. I’m mindful of keeping doors and gates secure, avoiding unsafe foods or objects, and ensuring pets are supervised appropriately. I can also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
“Lou was fantastic with Narla. From the first message she was clear, friendly and great at communicating the whole way through. We felt completely at ease knowing Narla was in safe hands. Lou sent regular updates, which was really reassuring, and it was obvious that Narla was happy and well cared for. We could not have asked for a better experience and would happily book with her again.”

About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. Look at our reviews to see how happy and content all your pets are with us. I have recently started house sitting in your home too. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds since I was 15. I love all animals, I’ve volunteered at a cat rescue so I am comfortable with being around more than one pet, especially hostile animals that need a bit more patience. I have been trusted with neighbours, friends and families dogs doing week long pet sitting for mixed pet households. I primarily work from home so I’m happy to stay over as long as I can connect to the WiFi! I am happy to do what is required of me to give your pet the experience that they deserve. Playing fetch, letting out for the toilet, going on short or long walks, building on existing training - can do! I’m working full time but primarily I work from home! I work 9-5 with a flexible dinner hour for any quick visits. For overnight or longer stays, as long as I can connect to the WiFi. I am free most weekends all day as well as mornings and evenings I adore animals and take the safety of everyone’s beloved pet as a priority. Your pet is my pet when in my care! I abide to your rules in your home, there is no such thing as too much of an ask when it comes to you and your pet being comfortable and safe in my care.
About: I have taken care of my neighbours dogs in numerous occasions and have had 10 years worth of experience with 3 cats of my own. I understand how dearly pet owners love their pets; as if they were their own children (I know I do!) and therefore believe that I would be a great carer for your little ones as you enjoy your break! I am a Biomedical science University student living at home and have a lot of free time to take care of and provide attention to your pets! I am also trained in lab skills and know what behaviours in animals would be alarming. I can maintain the same or a very similar routine for your pets as the ones they follow when you are around, I am a massive animal lover and can take really good care of your fur babies
About: With 5 years of experience caring for cats and dogs and even the odd chicken, I provide reliable, high-quality pet sitting tailored to your animal’s specific needs. From energetic walks to specialised cat care, I prioritize your pet's routine and happiness above all else. I am a discreet and trustworthy sitter who treats your home with the utmost respect. You can expect regular photo updates and clear communication, giving you total peace of mind while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medication or simply offering plenty of attention, I’m dedicated to keeping your pets safe and comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I am a gardener so I can either take dogs to work with me if they enjoying being outside (only to enclosed and appropriate places) or be flexible with my work schedule to accommodate returning home to give them scheduled walks. I also have flexibility in days I can work. I can travel and am free to stay over in someone’s home easily (as I don’t have home commitments such as children or my own pets) The animals I have looked after in the past have tended to stay with them in their home so not to take them out of their comfortable environment. I treat all animals with love, affection and respect. If it is a cat that wants lots of cuddles or prefers their own independence, I try to get a full picture from their owner so I can treat them as they are used to.
“Excellent. Lovely personality, wonderful with our furbabies who had a wonderful time with her and her dog and other ne playmates they made friends with, when they were being looked after while we were away for the day. As far as we are concerned she is our family dog minder and walker for life and it is a weight off our minds to know she will be there when required.”

You can count on me to provide dependable, loving care and plenty of tail wags along the way — and I promise, they’ll miss me when I’m away! I give each pet plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while keeping their space tidy and stress-free. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel happy and cared for while their owner is away.

About: Hello, I'm Claire. I'll be your devoted pet sitter. I get along well with cats, and since they all have unique personalities, I enjoy taking care of them. I am aware of the variations among cats and am able to care for them appropriately, whether they are quiet, shy, incredibly affectionate, or too excited. Knowing that I can lend a helping hand whenever needed makes me truly pleased. I work full time at a supporting living service for adults with mental health in Shipley. About: I’ve lived in BD13, Thornton for over 30 years, and have been a dog owner for the last 10 years. I retired from FT work in 2024, so have plenty of spare time. I walk daily, no matter what the weather, and know some great off road routes for dog walking, so can help your dog maintain a level of fitness if for any reason you’re unable to do so, whether due to health issues, or because of work or family commitments, or if you just need a break! I’ll record walks on Strava so you can see what exercise your dog has done, and I’ll send you pics to show your doggie having fun! Car owner, so can drive to / from anywhere local. For home boarding, I live with my wife of 33 years, along with Angus, our 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. If your dog stays with us, they will be welcomed, and treated as our own. I retired from full time work in 2024, so have plenty of time to spare, and can offer dog care / walking services on most days. Even if it’s just a one off, to support your dog whilst you’re away for a special occasion, I can hopefully help out. My house has a lovely green garden, mostly fenced, so if your pet isn’t ready for walking the full requested period, they can relax either in my house or garden whilst you have time out! I will record all walks on strava, and send you screenshots of routes, so you know your dog has been exercised, aswell as pics if you wish.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Bradford
Just arrived from our USA holidays Saddique has done a fantastic job to my two pets Ronnie and Rosie they easily get along with him plus how he carry out his job…All I can say is that whatever and whoever he will work he will perform a tremendous superb job…This mid of June he is going to look after Ronnie and Rosie again…

Kat was the perfect caregiver to our boys axel and Jasper, she was very attentive, she took them on lovely walks and was able to handle axel’s medication schedule with no problems. Would 100 percent recommend her to look after your furry friends while away, our boys loved her as if they had known her for years, making them feel very loved and comfortable. Could not be more grateful for Kat. 10/10 ❤️ would definitely book again ❤️

Georgie has been absolutely amazing with our sausage, Darwin. She has really taken the time to get to know him, always keeping us updated with texts and photographs whilst we have been away! He has been a very happy pupper. We will definitely continue to use Georgie and would highly recommend her! Thank you! 🤩 xx

Leah-Dionne is an absolute angel! From the minute she met our two (usually anxious) pooches they were at ease with her - treating her like one of the family instantly. We had a couple of meet and greets before a long stretch of dog sitting on my wedding day. I could not have felt more confident in the boys being looked after by Leah-Dionne, which meant me and my family could fully immerse ourselves in our big day. And, just as a cherry on the cake, I received some gorgeous pictures of my cheeky chaps on a fabulous walk, looking super happy. I cannot thank Leah-Dionne enough and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone, and will certainly be using her services again in the future. Thank you so so much xx

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Bradford walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bradford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
