“Our Frenchie Daisy had such a lovely time with Anca and her family. She was extremely well looked after and treated as one of their own family. We received updates, picture and videos throughout her stay and can honestly say that we were in no doubt at anytime about how well she was cared for. Thank you so much Anca, Daisy cannot wait to stay again 😁”

“Adam and his partner have been very understanding with taking care of my dad's dog over the weekend; they made sure they stuck to his schedule and comforted him when he was feeling a little lonely! Very accommodating and would definitely recommend and use again!”

“Amy was brilliant, so welcoming and great communication start to finish. Goose clearly felt happy and he was the calmest he's been when we've picked him up from anywhere! Absolutely would recommend and we'll be booking again in the future 😊”

“Natalia and her family have been absolutely amazing with Rocco. I’ve been getting daily updates on how he’s been doing and he’s been so settled and happy in her home. It really has been a home away from home for him. Not to mention that Natalia took on our booking for Rocco within a matter of hours due to an emergency arising with our original dog care. I couldn’t recommend Natalia enough she really cared for Rocco like he was ger own dog.”

“Nicola is a fantastic cat sitter. She was very accommodating and brilliant with Theo, administered his medication and spent plenty of time with him. Very grateful. Thank you!”

“Katie did a wonderful job looking after Fudge and our home while we were away for the week. She answered all our questions and provided lovely updates on how our boy was doing. She was very reassuring, and didn't mind all of the instructions I left behind. And on return our house was in excellent condition, she had changed the litter, emptied the bin, and stripped the bed. I was worried that leaving Fudge for a week would be stressful for him, but I can see that he's been well cared for, and his happy and healthy! We will look to book with Katie again next time we go away 😊”

“Vee is the best! She always sends lovely photos of Suki either playing or cuddled up with her, plus really nice detailed updates. It's great to know Suki's in good hands while we're away.”

About: Hello! I am a passionate cat sitter with a deep love for felines. I have two wonderful cats of my own, Ernie (the tripod) and Neil my crazy kitten, who keep me on my toes with their playful antics and sweet personalities. In addition to being a cat owner, I am also a student veterinary nurse, which means I have professional knowledge and experience in animal care. This gives me the ability to provide your cat with top-notch care, whether it’s administering medications or simply giving them the love and attention they deserve while you’re away.

“Very nice lady went out of her way to put our dustbin out for us. She took care of luna extremely well we definitely recommend her and will be using Susan again in the future”

“Danielle was fantastic. Very good communication and she was kind enough to send me an update and a couple of photos of my furchild. He was calm and happy when I got home. I highly recommend her.”

About: I have been caring for my own cat for more than 4 years now and believe that caring for them at a high standard is optimum. Providing just the basic needs, such as food, water and shelter isn’t enough. I believe all cats should have sufficient love and attention, mental and physical enrichment, as well as monitored health and prevention from illness. This includes both basic and tailored medication, a good level of hydration, physical activity and mental stimulation. Each and every cat has different personalities and needs, so these should always be tailored to and met properly- happy cats are the best cats! Plus they’re just awesome XD

About: Hi, we’re Rebecca and Harry, a pet-loving couple based in Apperley Bridge. Animals have always been a big part of our lives. Harry has grown up with both dogs and cats and has experience caring for family pets of all ages, while Rebecca has been around cats since childhood and understands the importance of providing loving, attentive care. We also regularly look after a friend’s energetic Springer Spaniel, so we’re comfortable with active dogs who enjoy plenty of exercise, playtime and attention. As keen outdoor enthusiasts, we love spending time walking and exploring, and we’re lucky to live right next to the canal, which provides fantastic routes for safe and enjoyable walks. We understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and we’ll always take the time to make them feel comfortable, secure and loved while they’re in our care. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, play sessions, cuddles on the sofa, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, we’ll make sure they receive the same care and attention we’d give our own pets.

About: Although I haven’t personally owned a cat, I’ve spent years around them through family and friends and have helped care for them by feeding, providing companionship, and learning their unique personalities and routines. My family cared for an outdoor cat for many years, which gave me firsthand experience understanding that every cat has its own preferences, boundaries, and way of showing affection. I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and appreciate their independent yet loving nature. I understand the importance of a calm, patient approach and know that many cats thrive when their routines are respected. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, quiet company, or simply having someone reliable to check in on them, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive to the little things, such as changes in appetite, behavior, or mood, and I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.

“Josh was really friendly and quick to respond when we needed someone last minute to look after our cat. He gave regular updates and was very thorough. Really appreciated as it meant we could relax and enjoy our wedding knowing our cat Nala was being looked after well. Thanks!”

“Sehrish has been amazing with my dog, her updates when she dropped in and took her for walks really eased my mind whilst we were on holiday. She followed all the details for care perfectly and built such a trusting relationship with my dog. She is definitely someone we would trust looking after our animals again!”

“Lydia has been brilliant looking after my cocker spaniel puppy Dexter! Couldn’t recommend her enough. She even brought her dog Benny for a play date. Thank you for everything Dexter loves you both! ❤️”

About: I have been working as a pet sitter since late 2024 and have visited cats whose owners are on holiday since then. Having cared for the cats of friends, family and broader acquaintances on an ad-hoc basis for many years, I have an understanding of the very broad range of personalities cats can have. Some are outgoing and happy to have a stranger visiting them, others are shy and hide from people they do not know and trust. Regardless of the personality, most animals, cats included, feel happier when there is no pressure to interact with others. I apply this to cat holiday visits by ensuring the cats do not feel any pressure to interact with me, and come to me for attention or affection on their own terms. I also offer extended meet and greet meetings for nervous cats to give them a better opportunity to get to know me.

About: I first fell in love with animals when I was a small child looking after the class' mouse when I was in reception. I remember the first time I wanted a cat when I was 7, and the love I gave to my first cat at 8. I have had two other cats since then, so you can trust me when I say that I have more than enough experience to know what your cat needs. I know every behaviour and what they mean, what brands of food your cat would like most and where to buy it, how to properly provide your cat with an experience filled with love and care when they're missing you so much! I love cats with all my heart and I can show yours that love in the time you trust me with them in your absence.

“Richmond had a wonderful day with Magda - we were kept informed of his activities on a regular basis. He settled in well and seemed happily at home there and came home well exercised. We have already booked him for another stay.”

“Ruby was very well looked after and we received videos and photos during her stay which was really nice to see that she was settled. She was very happy and well entertained. We will be happy for her to be looked after by Monika and her family again. Thank you so much.”

“We left our dog with a dogsitter for the first time, and I was quite worried — I didn’t know how he would behave, whether he might be aggressive, or miss us too much. But everything went perfectly. I received several messages with updates about how he was doing, and I always knew I could reach out and get a quick reply. I’m very grateful to Ance — she is truly caring and attentive, both with animals and their owners. Highly recommended!”

About: **DBS CHECKED** Hello! I’m Alex and I have cared for many breeds of dogs in the past, as well as my own cat Ivy for the past 3+ years and my 2 Guinea pigs, Churro and Viktor. I have owned many dogs previously, including Greyhounds, Staffies and even Cane Corsos. Additionally, I have also owned budgies, tropical fish and a tortoise. I always prioritise enrichment, exercise, affection and mental stimulation. The standard in which I care for my animals is very high and I believe it should be the same for all. I am currently working a part time job at an equine yard, but only work around 1-2 shifts a week. Now, as I recently graduated from college, I have a lot more free time and flexibility in my life and would love to fill this space with caring for dearly loved pets. A role of this nature is something I’ve been eager to do for a long time, as I love meeting unique furry personalities. Meeting animals with different traits and characteristics is always fun and interesting for me- and providing a great level of care for owners pets is something I love and enjoy greatly. I am happy to walk dogs for up to three times a day and would be willing to go on longer ones if this is requested and/or needed for the dog. I would prefer to care for animals at the owners location, due to my house being rather small and more of a cat-orientated household. However, I am happy to do daycare and may consider overnight care at my own home if I am comfortable with the situation and if I’m informed of important details e.g. temperament, size, bad behaviours. I am happy to do weekdays, holidays (summer, school, bank) and weekends if I am free and/or given enough time in advance. I have a fenced front and back garden and access to many suitable dog walking areas. Whether it’s a 15 minute stroll around the block, or a longer walk across the moors, I am more than up for it! A play and social session down at the local park is always a blast too. I am very fortunate to live in a great area for dog walking and adventures. I do own a cat and two Guinea pigs, but they are kept in a separate room (the cat goes outside but keeps to herself). My home has a high level of security, including CCTV cameras and multiple ring cameras too. I also have a wet room style bathroom so bathing medium sized dogs and under would be possible. I have a decently sized grass back garden and a small wood chip front garden. I also have an old dog kennel which is being used for storage, but if necessary, can be cleaned out for use. In terms of caring for a pet at the owners home, I have my own form of transport so commuting to the location wouldn’t be an issue (if it’s no more than around 20 miles from my location). I am perfectly comfortable staying over night and will happily adhere to any special arrangements and requests, such as number of walks per day, giving medications and specialist requirements. I am unable to walk large dogs if they are very reactive and strong pullers, otherwise I am totally happy. I do ask that I am informed of any personality traits or issues I need to be aware of e.g. is not friendly with other dogs, reactive to cats, must wear an muzzle etc. I have no personal preferences or limits when caring for cats, as I have lots of experience and knowledge- plus they’re quite a bit easier than dogs! Again, all I ask is to be informed of any medical requirements or specialist care for your pet.
“A lovely, friendly welcome. Unfazed by such a big dog! Fully enclosed garden. Great communication throughout. Findar loved his stay, and his new friend - the beautiful puppy, Betty.”

About: I’ve lived in BD13, Thornton for over 30 years, and have been a dog owner for the last 10 years. I retired from FT work in 2024, so have plenty of spare time. I walk daily, no matter what the weather, and know some great off road routes for dog walking, so can help your dog maintain a level of fitness if for any reason you’re unable to do so, whether due to health issues, or because of work or family commitments, or if you just need a break! I’ll record walks on Strava so you can see what exercise your dog has done, and I’ll send you pics to show your doggie having fun! Car owner, so can drive to / from anywhere local. For home boarding, I live with my wife of 33 years, along with Angus, our 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. If your dog stays with us, they will be welcomed, and treated as our own. I retired from full time work in 2024, so have plenty of time to spare, and can offer dog care / walking services on most days. Even if it’s just a one off, to support your dog whilst you’re away for a special occasion, I can hopefully help out. My house has a lovely green garden, mostly fenced, so if your pet isn’t ready for walking the full requested period, they can relax either in my house or garden whilst you have time out! I will record all walks on strava, and send you screenshots of routes, so you know your dog has been exercised, aswell as pics if you wish.
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I shared 13 wonderful years with my beloved dog, who passed away this March. I also had another sweet dog who sadly left me in September last year at only 4 years old due to cancer. Losing them was heartbreaking, but it only deepened my love and care for animals. I often care for pets of friends and family, treating them like my own. I would be truly happy to meet new dogs, spend time with them, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily life. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I’m here to give your dog regular walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the day. Your pet will always have company and love. My home is calm, safe, and pet-friendly, with cozy spots for resting and space for play. I follow your instructions closely to keep your dog’s routine consistent, and I always take time to understand their personality so they can settle in happily and feel at ease.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since i was born, training them, walking them and socialising them. I have always loved being surrounded by pets and seeing their little tails wag, I recently bought myself a dachshund and have trained him well to be sociable, kind natured and well behaved and he is like my first baby Im currently out of work studying midwifery from home caring for my dog hugo and we go on 2 walks a day, often down to the canal in Shipley. I love getting out the house and offering more mental stimulation! I have a fenced garden, and one friendly dachshund to keep your fur baby company. No children/cats and safety and happiness is my priority. No escapees round here!
About: Hi, my name is Vita. I've been looking after furry friends for around 5 years now. I always joke saying that leaving your dog/cat with me is like sending them for a holiday while you go away. Long walks, playtime, cuddles and none stop attention is one of the top things I provide while they stay at mine. As I don't have pets of my own I am looking forward to any opportunity to have a four legged friend staying at mine. I have high sense of responsibility and their needs and comfort is my top priority. I am very flexible so anything can be discussed and agreed on so feel free to message me any time. If your little friend is friendly and have no issues with other dogs and cats, often I take them for a little trips and walks with my other furry friends or have them stay over while already having someone staying with me (often it's a cat with dog) but this can be discussed as a separate occasion. What I offer: *Long stays at mine if you go away and need somewhere to leave your friend for them to be comfortable and taken care of. *Short stays at mine 2-3 days *Daily walks. Mornings, afternoons or throughout the day. *Last minute drop offs and stays. Couple hours to couple days *Introduction meetups at yours or during the walk. *Regular updates with pictures or videos so you know your friend is doing well and is happy. *Anything else can be discussed and agreed on. Please feel free to message me with anything that you might need and I'm happy to discuss. Looking forward hearing from you soon 🤎 I'm working full time however have shift work during week. I'm available in the mornings or afternoon and have full 3 days where I am home. Looking after pets gives me the boost of having daily walks and having a companion while at home as I don't have pets of my own. I have a yard where they can freely room and run around. There is a park 10min walking distance from my house. Regular walks and playtime are part of daily life.
“Thank you Daylan and Dusty for being so kind and attentive to help Rudy have a great first day. She is looking forward to her next visit and we are pleased to have the peace of mind that she is well cared for.”

About: I have a lifetime's experience of owning dogs. I have previously bred my own dogs, trained and competed in obedience competitions and consider myself a responsible owner. I have grown up with dogs and horses around. I have a border collie Sadie, who joined us at 18months old and is now 9yrs. Sadie (along with our previous 2 dogs) came from a rescue centre. I'm proud that she has become a loving, happy dog overcoming the bad treatment she had from her early years. I can be trusted to give your pet the care and attention along with individual requirements in your absence and would be happy to give updates throughout the stay. I am retired so can be flexible with my time. I walk our socialised dog daily and if you'd like her to join a daily walk that would be great, though your pet will receive whatever care that is required for their individual needs. I would follow the owner's instructions and routine to allow the pet the consistent care and attention needed to keep it as content and happy as possible in their own environment..

“Dawn made everything very simple and stress-free. We visited her home a few days before. Dawn made us feel completely at ease and was happy to answer any questions. As soon as we left Bruno, we could hear him crying, but just a few minutes later Dawn was already sending us messages showing him calm and relaxed, which immediately put our minds at ease. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with photos and comments about how Bruno was doing. When we picked him up, he was calm and happy — a clear sign that he enjoyed his day with Dawn.”

About: I graduated at Askham Bryan College in York in 2024 with a BSc Degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour and Welfare. I have experience in training a variety of dog breeds. I have taught puppy classes, and basic training for all ages, and have successfully trained multiple dogs in assistance work. I have gained knowledge and experience through looking after my previous employer's three dogs for lengths of time, providing all of the different care needs for each dog such as administering medication for the eldest dog with arthritis, specific and extra grooming needs for a show dog, and keeping the smaller dog separated from the others as requested when letting her out to the garden and when feeding. I am currently available for cat and dog sitting appointment and bookings, I specialise in training and welfare, and for the needs of cats and dogs requiring medication, such as insulin injections and/or tablets to be administered. I can work to any requirements provided by the owner. I can follow the usual routine for the cats if requested, or if the owner would feel better with keeping the cats indoors, or want them back in the house at specific times, I can keep the cats sufficiently occupied and exercised. I can walk the dogs as requested and within the enclosed space of their homes when out in the garden.
“Saddique walked my double doodle for 4 days whilst I was away and he did a great job 😊 He’s a lovely guy, I received loads of pictures and it was clear Milo was well looked after the whole time.”

About: I've always been an animal lover, and I have been caring for various pets for many years! I have my own cat, Tommy, who I've had the pleasure of taking care of over the past 10 years. Looking after him has given me hands-on experience with everything from feeding and grooming to recognising changes in his behaviour or health. Over the years, i have learned how important patience and building trust is with animals. In addition to caring for my own cat, I've also helped look after a dog for around 5 years. This included regular walks, feeding and playing. I helped with basic training such as reinforcing good behaviours on walks, as well as maintaining good routine and structure with him. As he can be quite an energetic dog, this experience has given me the confidence in handling dogs with various energy levels. I have also taken care of other cats and dogs for shorter periods of time. Whether it's been a few days or a weekend, I always make sure to provide them the best level of care and attention as I would with my own cat. I always ensure that pets in my care feel safe, loved and comfortable. I pay close attention to their needs and personalities to ensure I can give the best care possible. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility and plenty of time to provide attentive and consistent care for pets. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I plan my schedule around the needs of the animals I’m looking after. Because I’m not working full-time hours, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time throughout the week. I’m organised and reliable, and I always ensure pets are fed on time, exercised properly, and given lots of attention and affection. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully — including feeding routines, walking schedules, medication (if required), and any specific behavioural needs. I pay close attention to pets at all times and make sure they are kept in a secure and safe environment. I’m mindful of keeping doors and gates secure, avoiding unsafe foods or objects, and ensuring pets are supervised appropriately. I can also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.
“This dog walking service is top-notch. The walker is always on time and seems to genuinely care for the dogs. My dog gets great exercise and socialization during the walks. Communication is excellent, with regular updates provided. I highly recommend this service to anyone needing a reliable and caring dog walker.”

About: Hi, I'm a passionate dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, personalities, and needs. I have my own dog, Torrin, a 3-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer (GWP), who keeps me active and has given me valuable experience in training, exercise, and daily care. Over the past two years, I've also regularly looked after two dogs, Hattie and Senga, building strong relationships with both them and their owners. Through caring for multiple dogs, I've developed a good understanding of different temperaments, routines, and requirements, and I'm committed to providing a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience for every dog in my care. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I'll treat your dog as if they were my own. Pet care fits very easily into my routine, especially during the week as I'm currently on my university summer break and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-in visits, and general pet care throughout the day. During term time and outside the summer period, I'm also available on occasional weekends and will always communicate my availability clearly in advance. I always aim to follow a pet's usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. Whether caring for pets in my home or in an owner's home, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, along with fresh water, meals, and any other care instructions provided by the owner. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important consistency and communication are. I have a 3-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer, Torrin, and over the past two years I have regularly cared for two other dogs, Hattie and Senga. This experience has helped me become confident in managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel reassured that their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they're away.

I'm reliable, organised and committed to keeping you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is having a wonderful time too. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend! A typical day with me includes up to two enjoyable walks of up to an hour each through the beautiful woodlands and countryside right on my doorstep. Every walk is tailored to your dog's age, fitness and individual needs, allowing them to explore, sniff and enjoy the great outdoors at their own pace. If your dog isn't able to go for long walks, I'll provide plenty of alternative enrichment, gentle play and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I believe a dog's wellbeing is about much more than physical exercise. That's why I incorporate a healthy balance of walks, interactive play, enrichment activities and rest throughout the day, ensuring every dog returns home content, relaxed and fulfilled, both mentally and physically. Our living room opens directly onto a spacious, fully enclosed and secure rear garden through large patio doors, giving dogs easy access to a safe outdoor space where they can play, explore and enjoy fresh air throughout the day. Inside, dogs are free to relax and settle wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that's stretching out in the living room, curling up on a cosy bed or snoozing in their favourite spot. About: I have looked after dogs young and old since I was a kid and have 10 years of training guide dog puppies at home. I am comfortable handling big, medium and small-sized dogs and I'm good at adapting to individual dogs needs. I am a researcher who works from home so my hours are flexible (especially Mon-Fri) and I can fit in with you and your dog's schedule. I am happy to adapt to whatever requirements you have for your dog's comfort in their own home including any particular feeding or toilet needs.
“Leah is very kind and professional, my doggy loves her. I have a regular slot and have no qualms about giving Leah my housekeys. She comes in and out for my dog without disturbing my work. She responded quickly and slotted in a visit as an emergency when I had to go to A&E. Can't recommend Leah enough 🤩”

“Great with Ethyl. Good updates and was promted at asking questions if needed any more information. Ethyl so comfortable there. She had a great time and settled in straight away. I will definitely be using Amy again in the future.”

“Another fantastic sitting with Barry. Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly cared for as if she were his own dog. Communication was smooth and thoughtful throughout, with regular updates that kept me completely at ease. It’s always a pleasure leaving Luna in such reliable, kind hands - Barry is truly exceptional.”

“Ash (and Arlo) did a wonderful job looking after Eddie for a week. Ash is incredibly caring, attentive, and clearly treated Eddie as if he was her own. I felt completely reassured knowing he was in such kind and capable hands. The service was excellent from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ash to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much Ash”

“My six year old Labrador had a wonderful time with Rachel, James and of course, their doggy Murphy! The updates throughout the day were great and she settled straight in and made herself at home. I felt very comfortable leaving her to be looked after. I will definitely be booking in again. 🙂”
