I understand how dearly pet owners love their pets; as if they were their own children (I know I do!) and therefore believe that I would be a great carer for your little ones as you enjoy your break! I am a Biomedical science University student living at home and have a lot of free time to take care of and provide attention to your pets! I am also trained in lab skills and know what behaviours in animals would be alarming. I can maintain the same or a very similar routine for your pets as the ones they follow when you are around, I am a massive animal lover and can take really good care of your fur babies

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life for friends and family and have worked at a dog boarding kennels for 3 years working with all kinds of dog breeds and I studied dog behaviour, nutrition and management including housing and healthcare I’m currently working part time between 8-10am and 3-5pm so I’m available most days in between, if you are okay with your dog/dog’s being left for 2 hours morning and afternoon. In your home I will listen and follow all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy this will extend to outside the home on walks. Unfortunately i cannot have your pet in my home as I have a reactive dog and wouldn’t want to put another animal in danger or distress.

About: I have always had cats growing up. I currently have my own called Milo who is a very loving clingy cat. I have done dog sitting for family members while they are on holiday. I have a lot of experience with both cats and dogs. This is my full time job so I am available anytime and anyday. I will respond to you within the hour and answer any questions you may have. I have a cat bed in my bedroom for my cat Milo and loads of cat toys that he loves! I have a cat flap on my front door so he can go in and out as he pleases.

About: I have looked after my friends dogs while they were away quiet a few times, now wanting to spend my weekends with pets, going on walks and playing with yours :) I work M-F 8 until 4, Fridays I work from home so I will be all weekend at home. I can dog walk any weekly day after 4:30 and Friday to Sunday all day. I can pet sit all weekend from Friday to Sunday. I have a house with garden, I have no other pets. Your dog will be able to be anywhere in the house with me and won't be left alone while I am pet sitting.

About: Hi, My name is Georgia, I am 25 years old and animal care is my passion. I studied animal management at college and also completed extra qualifications at college including animal first aid and canine behaviour and training. I volunteered at an animal shelter for several months where I walked the dogs and cleaned dog kennels and cat pens. I previously had a part-time job at a small animal boarding and canine hydrotherapy centre where I worked with rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, and other small animals in the boarding facilities. I live a short walk from Northcliff park a quiet dog park and Roberts Park so your pooch will always have a big, grassy area to play on or off-leash or we can go for nice long walks. I love exploring new areas too, so if you are located in another area I would thrive on exploring new walks with your furry friend. While you're away, your pet can enjoy a good cuddle, play session, and park walk. As much as anything, I am a patient, loving, and reliable person, who loves sharing my love of animals with others. I am a qualified midwife. So not only do I love my fur babies but I bring real babies into the world. I work shift work but only 3 days a week so have 4 days free to love your fur babies as much as I love mine! My dog has free rein of the house. He sleeps on our bed and knows no where is off limited. Any dog is welcome to sleep on our sofa aswell, I believe a pet is as much part of the family as anyone else. I have a big garden which is fully secure with 6ft walls, the garden is packed with toys (as my dog takes them out and does not bring them back)

I also work as a carer so I’m very caring I am a full time carer however get multiple breaks throughout the day so feeding, walking and playtime can be worked around my rota even when I’m working. I have worked for 12 years as an animal care lecturer, as an animal management keeper, and worked in a large aquatics pet store, so I have a broad range of experience. In 2024 I decided that I wanted to use my experience with animals and work for myself. Having needed dog walking and pet services myself in the past and struggled to find someone local that could rely on, I know how worrying it can be to find the right person to care for my animals whilst I am not at home. The person I would be hiring would be responsible for two things I care about the most, my pets and my home. I therefore aim to provide a reliable and reassuring pet care service for all owners to help alleviate some of these worries. I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and have been trained in Canine First Aid (iPet Level 3). I also have an enhanced DBS check available for clients to view (children and adults), so you can be assured you have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I can provide regular or one-off dog walking and a variety of pet care services in your home (including one-off or regular visits, and overnight stays). I can even clean and maintain your aquarium for you, both freshwater and marine. I care for the pets of others nearly full time so I can fit in pet care services very flexibly. Whilst I cannot guarantee specific times in the majority of cases, I try my best to ensure that your pets are visited at times which suit them, and you. Pets are cared for with their own comfort, and peace of mind of the owner, at the heart of the routine. As much as possible I try to ensure the pet's normal routine is not disturbed, which can help many pets when their owners are away. This is especially true for nervous cats and shy dogs who often need their own space, and I try not to pressure them into being in my company if they do not want it. On the other hand, confident cats and dogs can always get the scritches, belly rubs and play time they ask for! I believe it is very important to respect pets and owners boundaries. For example, if they're not allowed on the sofa with you, they're not with me either. This is all talked through at the meet and greet I insist on arranging before every booking to make sure we're all on the same page and the pets can meet me at least once before I stay with them. This also has the dual purpose of ensuring the safety of pets, property and myself. Understanding the personality and behaviours of pets in their own home helps to avoid unintended fearful reactions from those pets which may cause harm. I try to have as minimal an impact on the home as possible, leaving the home as I found it. Finishing up a visit involves ensuring that everything has been completed to a high standard, and the home is left in the condition expected by the owner. I am more than happy to perform small cleaning tasks to ensure the home is cleaned where pets may have made a hairy mess, as long as there is enough time to complete all of the required pet care tasks. If your pet is likely to make a mess, I usually recommend paying a little extra for each visit, or a couple of visits, to ensure I have enough time to care for your home as well as your pets.
