About: Our experience with dogs 🐾 Ellie has always had dogs and has experience with a wide range of breeds, including rescue dogs with different backgrounds and needs. She also set up her own rescue, Praxie’s Promise, through which she has helped rehome hundreds of dogs. She is Canine First Aid trained and has a real understanding of how important it is to provide dogs with patience, care and a safe, loving environment. Gethin has always grown up around pets and has plenty of experience caring for dogs. Over the years, we have regularly looked after friends’ dogs, from walks and day-to-day care to having them stay with us while they're on holiday. Between us, we have a great deal of experience with dogs of different personalities, breeds and needs, and we want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, settled and part of the family. We both work shifts, but Gethin works from home full-time, so there will always be someone around to care for your dog and provide company throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of attention, affection and company while staying with us. We’re both active people and enjoy getting out for walks, so we’re happy to provide as much exercise and outdoor time as your dog needs, whether that’s relaxed walks or something more energetic. We are both very flexible and happy to fit into your dogs schedule, whatever they need! We also have our own dog, Chevy, who is 11 years old and very calm and friendly. He is very adaptable to all kinds of dog personalities and is used to being around dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. We’ll make sure every dog staying with us gets the attention, exercise and care they need, while also giving them the space and time to settle in and feel comfortable. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be our priority. We have a secure, dog-friendly home with a fully enclosed 5ft fenced garden, giving dogs safe access to fresh air and outdoor space throughout the day whenever they need it. As Gethin works from home, there will usually be someone around throughout the day, meaning dogs won’t be left alone for long periods. With Ellie’s extensive experience caring for and rehoming dogs, including rescue dogs with a variety of personalities you can feel confident that your dog is in experienced and caring hands. We have kept our own dogs safe for 20+ years and your dogs will be looked after like one of our own. We’ll introduce dogs to Chevy carefully and at their own pace. We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and will keep you updated during their stay, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and well cared for.

About: We are a friendly, reliable couple with a genuine love of dogs, animals and the outdoors. With three dogs of our own, dogs are very much part of our everyday lives, and we understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. Alongside our practical experience, Shirley holds a Canine Communication Diploma, awarded with Distinction by the Centre of Excellence. This complements our hands-on experience and helps us to understand canine communication, behaviour and the individual ways dogs express themselves. We also prefer focusing on giving dogs stimulating outdoor experiences rather than simply a quick walk around the block. About: Having grown up with a dog and now have a cat, I have cared for many other dogs both professionally and in my family I have experience with dogs ranging from puppies to older and much larger dogs. I have been trusted to walk, play with and bathe dogs and have experience with dogs with challenging behaviours. I am a freelance photographer so I will have a lot of days free in-between shoots or weddings, I can be available most days and nights provided I have enough notice. I can come to your home where your pet is more comfortable and play with them, let them out and take them for walks around an area that they know. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life from a young age. I’ve raised my own dogs from puppyhood through to adulthood as well as having cats and I regularly care for my brother’s Staffy, who is the sweetest soul! I was also fortunate to learn puppy training to a very high standard from an ex-police dog handler, giving me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, training and communication. I’m a very nurturing, patient and soft-hearted person who genuinely loves getting to know each animal’s individual personality. I understand that every dog is different so I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit their temperament, routine, boundaries and needs whether they’re energetic, nervous, independent, cuddly or somewhere in between. I absolutely love being outdoors and spend lots of my own time walking and hiking, so getting out for adventures with a four legged companion is something I’d genuinely enjoy!! I also have experience working in the care sector, so I’m confident and responsible when it comes to medication, routines and individual care needs. Ultimately, I want every animal in my care to feel safe, loved, stimulated and comfortable while their owners are away 🐶❤️ As a self-employed artist, I manage my own schedule, which gives me lots of flexibility and means I can dedicate my full attention to your pet when I’m pet sitting. I’m particularly flexible with boarding and longer stays and I love being able to give pets plenty of walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and company throughout the day. I’m happy to discuss individual routines and work around what your pet is used to at home. I live on the ground floor of a beautiful old mill with lovely high ceilings and a huge area of greenery surrounding the property. While this isn’t a private fenced garden, the green space is frequently used by local dog walkers, so there are plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks and fresh air throughout the day. As the area is not fenced, I would always keep dogs securely on a lead when outside unless their owner has specifically discussed a suitable alternative with me. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs and will follow their usual routines, feeding instructions, medication and house rules wherever possible. I’ll make sure they have a calm, safe and loving environment, with plenty of company, walks, playtime, enrichment and cuddles. I’ll also keep owners updated and let them know promptly if I notice anything unusual about their pet.

About: Hiya my name is Jeff and im new to Rover, I’m a student currently studying computer engineering and it’s my first year, i grew up with a golden retriever called bernie that my dad bought for me when i was 5 years old and he recently passed away of old age and i miss him so much and i miss having a dog around me to cuddle so i decided to join rover to spend time with other peoples dogs and I'm comfortable giving medication and following feeding routines exactly as you set them out. My days are flexible, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. I'm home most of the days. I'm happy to work around your dog's usual routine, whether that's early starts, late feeds or set walk times Your dog's safety comes first. Dogs are always on a lead when we're out, and I never let them off in an unsecured area. At home, i have a secure garden and nothing harmful is left within reach. I only take one client's dog at a time and I have no other pets, so your dog gets my full attention. I know where the nearest emergency vet is, and if anything ever seems off I'll message you straight away. I'm always happy to do a meet and greet first so you and your dog can see the setup and make sure it feels right.

About: I have worked full time as a junior canine carer - I would look after, alongside my colleagues up to 60 dogs at a time. I have been trained to walk 6 dogs at a time and look after all breeds and sizes. At the time I was taught about dogs behaviour and how they react together. About: I have taken care off a range of different pets over the last 5 years and recently discovered Rover. No pet is too big or too small. I’m currently working 9 - 4:30 Monday to Friday with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. Looking for something in the evenings or weekends. I will always have your pets best interest at heart. I understand some pets may need more attention then others where some are happy to sleep all day, others are fully of energy.
