About: Our experience with dogs 🐾 Ellie has always had dogs and has experience with a wide range of breeds, including rescue dogs with different backgrounds and needs. She also set up her own rescue, Praxie’s Promise, through which she has helped rehome hundreds of dogs. She is Canine First Aid trained and has a real understanding of how important it is to provide dogs with patience, care and a safe, loving environment. Gethin has always grown up around pets and has plenty of experience caring for dogs. Over the years, we have regularly looked after friends’ dogs, from walks and day-to-day care to having them stay with us while they're on holiday. Between us, we have a great deal of experience with dogs of different personalities, breeds and needs, and we want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, settled and part of the family. We both work shifts, but Gethin works from home full-time, so there will always be someone around to care for your dog and provide company throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of attention, affection and company while staying with us. We’re both active people and enjoy getting out for walks, so we’re happy to provide as much exercise and outdoor time as your dog needs, whether that’s relaxed walks or something more energetic. We are both very flexible and happy to fit into your dogs schedule, whatever they need! We also have our own dog, Chevy, who is 11 years old and very calm and friendly. He is very adaptable to all kinds of dog personalities and is used to being around dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. We’ll make sure every dog staying with us gets the attention, exercise and care they need, while also giving them the space and time to settle in and feel comfortable. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be our priority. We have a secure, dog-friendly home with a fully enclosed 5ft fenced garden, giving dogs safe access to fresh air and outdoor space throughout the day whenever they need it. As Gethin works from home, there will usually be someone around throughout the day, meaning dogs won’t be left alone for long periods. With Ellie’s extensive experience caring for and rehoming dogs, including rescue dogs with a variety of personalities you can feel confident that your dog is in experienced and caring hands. We have kept our own dogs safe for 20+ years and your dogs will be looked after like one of our own. We’ll introduce dogs to Chevy carefully and at their own pace. We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and will keep you updated during their stay, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and well cared for.

About: I have grown up around animals, my cats are 14 and 17, with one being disabled (missing leg) and labelled as aggressive, and one very active dog who is now 5. Therefore no matter your pet's personality, age or quirks I will treat them with the same amount of love and kindness. I am currently studying graphic design at university, taking a year out to add to my portfolio so pet sitting is how I have chosen to support myself through this year. This gives me the opportunity to both work and have internship experience at the same time! I am very aware that what most pets crave is just to have someone to be around, I am more than happy to be that person! Unfortunately due to disability I am unable to take pets on long walks so most of my sitting would be at your house but i'm always happy to play, pet and keep them company!

About: I love cats and my landlady has a black cat called Thomas, I am responsible for looking after him if the landlady is away, feeding him, giving him love and attention and so on. In the past I have done dog sitting for friends for weeks at a time and it is just so great for me to go out on big long walks in nature every day with a dog. I am definitely an animal person :) I am currently looking for part time work, I am therefore completely free at the moment and will still be very free even when working as it will just be a few hours per week. I am very engaging with pets, I make sure to feed them the correct food and correct amount, I know alot of people can overfeed pets and this is something I make sure not to do. If they have a set routine of meal times, play time, walking times, I am happy to stick with that routine. I am very clean and tidy, I cook alot and I always clean up. I am pretty quiet and chilled, a good person to be around your pets.

About: From a young age I have always been fond of all animals and as a family we took on the role as puppy walkers for Guide Dogs. One puppy we adopted unfortunately developed arthritis so could no longer carry on the training but this allowed us to keep him and we had a fantastic 13 years together.
