About: We are a friendly, reliable couple with a genuine love of dogs, animals and the outdoors. With three dogs of our own, dogs are very much part of our everyday lives, and we understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with a much-loved member of your family. Alongside our practical experience, Shirley holds a Canine Communication Diploma, awarded with Distinction by the Centre of Excellence. This complements our hands-on experience and helps us to understand canine communication, behaviour and the individual ways dogs express themselves. We also have experience through Pawsome Treks Adventure Services, our dog-walking service, which focuses on giving dogs stimulating outdoor experiences rather than simply a quick walk around the block. About: I love cats and my landlady has a black cat called Thomas, I am responsible for looking after him if the landlady is away, feeding him, giving him love and attention and so on. In the past I have done dog sitting for friends for weeks at a time and it is just so great for me to go out on big long walks in nature every day with a dog. I am definitely an animal person :) I am currently looking for part time work, I am therefore completely free at the moment and will still be very free even when working as it will just be a few hours per week. I am very engaging with pets, I make sure to feed them the correct food and correct amount, I know alot of people can overfeed pets and this is something I make sure not to do. If they have a set routine of meal times, play time, walking times, I am happy to stick with that routine. I am very clean and tidy, I cook alot and I always clean up. I am pretty quiet and chilled, a good person to be around your pets.

About: From a young age I have always been fond of all animals and as a family we took on the role as puppy walkers for Guide Dogs. One puppy we adopted unfortunately developed arthritis so could no longer carry on the training but this allowed us to keep him and we had a fantastic 13 years together. He made my childhood and although in adulthood I haven't taken a dog on myself, I am a serial dog auntie to many and offered dog walks and pet sitting to friends/family/colleagues/neighbours etc before I started extending this to services on Rover. I do not have the commitments of kids or other pets myself so again can offer that flexible care in the week to meet the needs of different people and their pets. About: I have taken care off a range of different pets over the last 5 years and recently discovered Rover. No pet is too big or too small. I’m currently working 9 - 4:30 Monday to Friday with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. Looking for something in the evenings or weekends. I will always have your pets best interest at heart.
