About: I absolutely love cats and dogs and have over 10 years experience living with and taking care of them. My friends and family refer to me as the ‘cat whisperer’ and I'm known to befriend dogs at every opportunity. As I don't have pets of my own anymore, over the past few years I've started offering my petsitting services to a small number of friends and family members. I'm now excited to offer my services to a small network in my local community. Whether it’s a high energy walk in the hills, a quiet evening of cuddles or a week-long stay, my goal is to bring your pet joy and total safety. I’m reliable, friendly and an excellent communicator (who will keep you updated with photos of your pet if you like), and I promise to leave your home just as tidy as I found it! I usually work remotely so I can be flexible to the needs of your pets, making sure they get all the love and fuss they need! I'm usually available for full day petsitting if you're away at work (8.30am - 5.30pm) and overnight stays. About: Currently I work part time from home teaching English online. I can only accept dogs that are happy to have 4 hours of downtime while I’m online! Outside of that I have a lot of time for walks and play, it’s really a pleasure to have a dog in the house, even when I can't commit to having my own full time at the moment as I often travel. Happy to have rescues / anxious dogs as I used to have a rescue Greyhound and we can offer a quiet calm environment at home. Also happy to arrange a meet and greet before hand so your dog can meet me before they come to stay and you can let me know their requirements! I usually work 9-1, so will fit in a 45 minute walk before this and a 45 minute walk after. I have breaks in between classes I’d anyone needs a wee break and happy to really do as many walks as your dog would like! I'm available 7 days a week for bookings, but don’t work Sunday or Monday for any higher energy dogs that I can’t accept when I have work. I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! I live with my best friend, Alex, who is also a big animal lover and mostly works from home so there will always be one of us free for belly rubs.

About: I am a trustworthy and reliable dog walker/sitter based in Todmorden, Calderdale. I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). Otherwise i work part-time (and quite flexibly) from home so am very available to give lots of attention to any dogs in my care. I live with very close to lots of great walks as well! I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa if you are! i have spacious living room and kitchen as well as an enclosed yard. All my houseplants are high up out of reach a well as i've known a few dogs that like to try and nibble these!! If looking after a dog in the owners home i obvously treat it with respect and follow their instructions on the dogs home routine.

About: From a young age I have always been fond of all animals and as a family we took on the role as puppy walkers for Guide Dogs. One puppy we adopted unfortunately developed arthritis so could no longer carry on the training but this allowed us to keep him and we had a fantastic 13 years together. He made my childhood and although in adulthood I haven't taken a dog on myself, I am a serial dog auntie to many and offered dog walks and pet sitting to friends/family/colleagues/neighbours etc before I started extending this to services on Rover. About: With over six years of hands-on experience working on a petting farm from the age of 14 to 20, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — from livestock to a variety of dog breeds. Growing up in a dog-loving home, especially with high-energy breeds like collies, has given me a deep understanding of canine behaviour, needs, and personalities. Whether it’s providing calm companionship or active playtime, I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work full time as a teacher but I am free most weekends and evenings! About: Hi! My name is Ceridwen (nicknamed Sam in the US) and I absolutely love this job. I relocated to Wales a year ago after living in France, New Zealand, and multiple cities in the States. I really love building ongoing relationships with pups. My favorite part of Rover is not only gaining a new companion, but I thoroughly enjoy the process of meeting people through the love of their animals (I've met two best friends on here!). Additionally, being a part of Rover has complimented my lifestyle as a student and nomad. I've been on the Rover platform for 11 years, but outside of this, I'm a certified trainer with five years of hands-on experience working in behavior modification. I've worked with fear-aggression, anxiety, dog-aggression, and basic obedience under behaviorists at The Dog Psychology Center in Los Angeles. My 200 hour mentorship was under The Mutt Mentor in Sonoma, CA. The majority of dogs I work with can be described as "selective." I'm comfortable with dogs (and animals in general) that are particular with people as I can offer a very unassuming, gentle approach that quickly earns trust. I always ask people to leave as much detail as possible in regard to their pup's daily routine so I can follow it to the best of my ability. Please note that I am best suited for those that have jobs in which they leave periodically throughout the day and I do not provide what is referred to as "constant care," as I sometimes have a lecture or short shift to get to. My prices reflect this and I am more than happy to chat to make sure it's a good fit! When I housesit, I do stay overnight at the home with the dog. Housesitting is definitely my preference. Over the years, I have found this eliminates the first few days of stress that I see in most boarding situations. I do not currently have any dogs of my own. I always let people know that when I'm not taking care of the dog's walks or feeding, I can typically be found hanging out with them watching movies or reading a book. I'm happy to take garbage and recycling out, grab mail, and attend to anything else you need! I will never snoop through people's things or take anything unless given permission. Your home will always be left better than you left it. :)

About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was born. I have had a range of different breed dogs including Labradors as well as an English Bull Terrier. I know how to train dogs and care for dogs as I have 20 years of 'unprofessional' experience, you could say. I also have walked dogs through apps such as Borrow My Doggy and have had a successful experience there. I have previously dog sited friends dogs as well as other family member dogs. I have also cared for others cats. About: I have had both dogs and cats ever since I was a baby which means I have valuable experience of pet sitting. I have experience with many types of animals and there is no breed I dislike. I work full time currently, however my shifts are different each day so I always either have a full morning or all afternoon free with two full days off. Weekends the latest I finish is 3 so I always have time. I have a fenced garden and cctv. I have two dogs already who are great around other pets and I have a crate should it ever be needed.

About: I have a 10 year old dog, and 10 years of personal experience of loving, caring and treating her as the family member that she is. I am a very active person and know many amazing walks around my area, you can rest assured that your dog will be well exercised and tired out when they return to you( in a good way!). I always remember that while most people see taking their dog out as a chore or something they have to do, that walk is the best part of the day for the dog, the thing they look forward to. For this reason it becomes the best part of my day too, and no walk will be short lived or boring. I also have some experience training dogs and puppies, through training my own. I know how to train basic skills like obedience, sitting, laying down, rolling over, and best of all high fives. I also trained my dog some key walking skills for when we are out, for example walking on a lead, stopping and staying at roads before crossing, fast and slow commands on the lead and returning when off the lead and called. If you have a puppy or dog who needs a little training I am happy to get involved and try and help. I currently work part time in after school clubs, for just a couple of hours a day Monday to Friday. I am out of the house from 2.30 to 4.30pm ish. I have the rest of the day at home so have plenty of time to care for, walk and train your doggies. If your dog is okay with being left alone for 2 hours at the most, I can board any day of the week and anytime. If your dog is not okay with being left alone for this length of time I can board on weekends where I have no work and all my time for your dog :) I have a fenced garden which they can explore, with no worry of them escaping. It is a fairly large garden with a small beck for them to splash in! I will walk them twice a day, or as specified by you, along with my own lovely dog to keep them company. If you provide me with feeding times and any specific details you would like me to follow, so that we can make their experience as homelike and comfortable as possible, that would be great and I will follow exactly.
