I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). About: Currently I work part time from home teaching English online. I can only accept dogs that are happy to have 4 hours of downtime while I’m online! Outside of that I have a lot of time for walks and play, it’s really a pleasure to have a dog in the house, even when I can't commit to having my own full time at the moment as I often travel. Happy to have rescues / anxious dogs as I used to have a rescue Greyhound and we can offer a quiet calm environment at home. Also happy to arrange a meet and greet before hand so your dog can meet me before they come to stay and you can let me know their requirements! I usually work 9-1, so will fit in a 45 minute walk before this and a 45 minute walk after. I have breaks in between classes I’d anyone needs a wee break and happy to really do as many walks as your dog would like! I'm available 7 days a week for bookings, but don’t work Sunday or Monday for any higher energy dogs that I can’t accept when I have work. I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! About: While I lived in Manchester, I used to care for my landladies’ cat when they went away. I lived with their cat for 3 years. Most of my paid jobs have been for dogs but I am more than happy to care for cats and have also had experience caring for an elderly cat requiring daily medication.
About: I love cats and my landlady has a black cat called Thomas, I am responsible for looking after him if the landlady is away, feeding him, giving him love and attention and so on. In the past I have done dog sitting for friends for weeks at a time and it is just so great for me to go out on big long walks in nature every day with a dog. I am definitely an animal person :) I am currently looking for part time work, I am therefore completely free at the moment and will still be very free even when working as it will just be a few hours per week. I am very engaging with pets, I make sure to feed them the correct food and correct amount, I know alot of people can overfeed pets and this is something I make sure not to do. If they have a set routine of meal times, play time, walking times, I am happy to stick with that routine. I am very clean and tidy, I cook alot and I always clean up. About: I'm offering dog-walking, doggy daycare and overnight sitting in the Calder Valley. For dog-walking, I can collect your dog from your home, take them for an hour's walk and drop them back home. I can run or walk (and, of course, play Stick) with energetic dogs or do more chilled walks with smaller and elderly dogs. For sitting and day-care: I have a small fenced back yard for fresh air breaks but mostly your dog will be with me in my living-dining room, getting one to one attention - lots of games and cuddles. My house backs onto woods and fields for regular walks. I can look after older dogs who need regular toilet breaks (although my house does have steps up to it). I don't have my own dog (sadly, I can't commit to a full-time dog). I will never take on a second dog from another family without both families’ express permission first, so you have peace of mind that your dog will be my sole priority and there's no risk of fights and injury. My favourite breeds are the retriever and the sight-hounds families; I also love cockerpoos, daschunds and border terriers, in fact I’m discovering new favourite breeds all the time! As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. For home boarding, I live with my wife of 33 years, along with Angus, our 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. If your dog stays with us, they will be welcomed, and treated as our own. I retired from full time work in 2024, so have plenty of time to spare, and can offer dog care / walking services on most days. Even if it’s just a one off, to support your dog whilst you’re away for a special occasion, I can hopefully help out. My house has a lovely green garden, mostly fenced, so if your pet isn’t ready for walking the full requested period, they can relax either in my house or garden whilst you have time out! I know how important it is to feel like you're leaving your dog in capable and loving hands; your dog will be safe and have a whole lot of fun on outings with me. Sometimes I will even bring my own dog Yogy too so they can make friends. Reliable, affordable and providing your dog with walkie's that are easy for you. I have previous experience dog walking and currently my walking schedule is approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm during weekdays. I never take dogs out in groups bigger than four and can offer private walks too. Weekends walks and sitting are subject to availability. It is of the upmost importance to me that your dog is safe whilst in my care. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home as to not unsettle them in different settings but am also able to care for dogs in my flat too. I always make sure my pals are well fed and watered with regular toilet breaks. Whilst on walks dog's remain on the lead until in an open space in a park or field where I feel comfortable to let them run freely. This is of course a conversation between the owner and myself as we access your dogs needs and confidence and so I will provide my method accordingly.

About: Have lots of experience with animals as I had dogs & cats all my life. I can have them boarding with and also housesit in their own home 🐶 If you have a pet that is not able to have my pet there I can accommodate, please be rest assured I have a dog ( Bella) that has an unusual bond & has had no problem ever with dogs or cats. Owners are usually shocked I live alone with my doggy Bella who is a lovely friendly Cavalier. I work a few hours doing voluntary work so I’m around 24/7. If you are booking please work on a drop off/pick up time that matches within reason. Although I am available at you first asking it is not a definite booked unless payed to Rover and will be marked as still available till then. I do not get paid for any booking till after it has been completed. I live in a quiet area and I have a fenced back garden. I live 2 minutes from a lovely woodland park and large green space to run & play.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.

Me and my family rescued a stray dog who was very anxious and had some behavioural issues, but with patience, love & consistency, she came out of her shell and we loved her more than anything in this world. I know it can be so anxiety provoking to leave your pet with someone and I understand how that feels firsthand- but we would do everything in our power to give your dog the best time in a safe, happy home :) x Between me and my husband Paul, we work full time, but different hours so the longest time a dog would be alone would be 8 hours. I work shifts so I have 4 days off a week where I would have time to go for long walks & spend time in nature, and my partner works an office job so can go for walks before and after work, as well as weekends. I live in a safe flat, with lovely neighbours and surrounded by nature, with beautiful walks nearby & a park as well. I would provide a safe loving home for dogs who I am looking after, and they would be my utmost priority.
