About: Hi I’m Janet With over 25 years experience caring from dogs of all ages; from playful puppies to golden oldies, I understand that every dog has their personality, routine and needs. I can administer medication, follow your dog’s usual routine and provide the care they need. I offer a home from home boarding experience, where every dog is treated as part of the family , with tons of love, attention, exercise and reassurance throughout their stay . Clean and well behaved small to medium sized dogs are even allowed to curl up on the sofa , if that’s what they are used to. My one to one approach , unlike busy boarding kennels and boarders that take on multiple dogs from multiple families , allows me to get to know your dog , follow their routine and help them feel settled whilst they are away from home . Your dog’s well-being is always my priority, so you can have peace of mind , knowing they are in safe and experienced hands . I work part-time at a local school three days per week; my husband works full time from home. This means your much loved pooch will enjoy plenty of company, care and attention throughout their stay. Our home is calm and settled, with our children now grown up, with one son still living at home. We also share our home with Theo, our adorable Sproodle, who loves having a four-legged friends to stay and keep him company. Above all , we love all dogs and want every dog who stays with us to feel relaxed and happy whilst in our care. The house is detached with a large walled garden at the front and a large secure garden at the back so there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to play and chill out . We have a large kitchen , utility room and living room all of which are dog friendly so there’s plenty of space for your pooch to find a quiet corner of their own without feeling overwhelmed . I will only take on a max of 2 dogs who must be from the same home . My dog Theo is a fun loving sociable Sproodle who will love some company . Until recently we had a golden retriever that sadly passed away so Theo is used to sharing his home with another dog .

I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). About: I have adored and been around dogs all my life , both mine own and other dogs I've been trusted to look after. I'm experience handling breeds of all sizes and temperaments. From puppies to elderly dogs needing special care, . I have attended dog training and behaviour sessions in order to better understand individual and varieties of dog personalities and there needs. I currently work part time in a shop, but its only one day a week 12-4ish so still plenty of time or visits and walks. Apart from that im a practicing artist and writer working from home, so am available and happy to look after a dog most of the time. My own dog lives in my home so it is a dog-proof and safe place, my dog is a very friendly young spaniel, so if you dog needed to come to my house that would be no problem at all. However i would be inclined to want to look after a dog in its own home to avoid them becoming anxious or overwhelming both dogs. Also having a dog myself means i know some good walking spots and where its safe to let them off leads!
About: I’ve been dog sitting privately for over a year, I’ve had dogs of all sizes from a pug to German Sheperd. Dog had to be child friendly but I am experienced in dealing with a dogs that are high energy. I also have experience dealing with dogs with challenging behaviour, for example a German shepherd I looked after needed to avoid other dogs so keep on a tight lead and actively avoided places that was busy with other dogs. I don’t have a garden but there are many large parks near me with dog walking routes, that I take my little boy to every day after school on his bike. Due to my work schedule I am only out the house 2 to 4 hours but this is not a daily occurrence, some days I work from home and home at the weekends. About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! About: Myself and my partner Toby offer dog-walking, doggy daycare and overnight sitting in the Calder Valley. For dog-walking, We offer group walking in the morning or afternoon and can collect your dog from your home, take them for a one hour walk and drop them back home. We can run or walk (and, of course, play Stick) with energetic dogs or do more chilled walks with smaller and elderly dogs. We can also do a solo walk service for dogs who struggle in company. Please message us about this additional service. For sitting and day-care: Your dog will be with us in our home, getting one to one attention - lots of games and cuddles and access to a garden for fresh air breaks. We walk our guests 3-4 times a day in the woods and fields near our house. We can look after older dogs who need regular toilet breaks (although our house does have steps up to it). We can take on a second or third dog from the same family or friends whose dogs know each other and get on well. My favourite breeds are the retriever and the sight-hounds families; I also love Cockerpoos, Daschunds and Border Terriers, in fact I am discovering new favourite breeds all the time! Toby's are similar he also likes Afghan Hounds, having grown up with one, Golden-Doodles, a Lurcher (Bedlington/ whippet) that recently stayed and a Bulldog that he has recently been walking. We look forward to meeting many new breeds in the future. Apart from walking and looking after dogs, I am a researcher and writer and Toby is a tutor so the majority of our work is from home. We tend to organise our day so that one of us is always around to look after the dogs. We also enjoy hiking, running and going to local shows and fetes, pubs and cafes, so if your dog is well behaved they can come everywhere with us and enjoy the excitement. In our home the dogs can relax on their beds, the sofa or on a blanket where we are working or relaxing. They can visit the garden when they wish or if it's a nice day and we are outside they are welcome to join us!

He can also give your dog space if that's what they need. Fully secured garden for toilet breaks, but most of the time we can walk down to the river which is 5 mins from our house, explore the woods or go upto the moors. At weekends your pets will have full time care from At least 1 adult. During the week we work from home, go on walks 2 to 3 times a day and have a safe enclosed garden option at all times We have a fenced garden and live on a gated development, we have a old beagle that keeps to himself and a playful Boston terrier if your dog wants to play. I walk daily, no matter what the weather, and know some great off road routes for dog walking, so can help your dog maintain a level of fitness if for any reason you’re unable to do so, whether due to health issues, or because of work or family commitments, or if you just need a break! I’ll record walks on Strava so you can see what exercise your dog has done, and I’ll send you pics to show your doggie having fun! Car owner, so can drive to / from anywhere local. For home boarding, I live with my wife of 33 years, along with Angus, our 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. If your dog stays with us, they will be welcomed, and treated as our own. About: Myself and my partner Toby offer dog-walking, doggy daycare and overnight sitting in the Calder Valley. For dog-walking, We offer group walking in the morning or afternoon and can collect your dog from your home, take them for a one hour walk and drop them back home. We can run or walk (and, of course, play Stick) with energetic dogs or do more chilled walks with smaller and elderly dogs. We can also do a solo walk service for dogs who struggle in company. Please message us about this additional service. For sitting and day-care: Your dog will be with us in our home, getting one to one attention - lots of games and cuddles and access to a garden for fresh air breaks. We walk our guests 3-4 times a day in the woods and fields near our house. We can look after older dogs who need regular toilet breaks (although our house does have steps up to it). We can take on a second or third dog from the same family or friends whose dogs know each other and get on well. My favourite breeds are the retriever and the sight-hounds families; I also love Cockerpoos, Daschunds and Border Terriers, in fact I am discovering new favourite breeds all the time! Toby's are similar he also likes Afghan Hounds, having grown up with one, Golden-Doodles, a Lurcher (Bedlington/ whippet) that recently stayed and a Bulldog that he has recently been walking. We look forward to meeting many new breeds in the future. Apart from walking and looking after dogs, I am a researcher and writer and Toby is a tutor so the majority of our work is from home. We tend to organise our day so that one of us is always around to look after the dogs. We also enjoy hiking, running and going to local shows and fetes, pubs and cafes, so if your dog is well behaved they can come everywhere with us and enjoy the excitement. In our home the dogs can relax on their beds, the sofa or on a blanket where we are working or relaxing. They can visit the garden when they wish or if it's a nice day and we are outside they are welcome to join us!
About: I have grown up around dogs so have the experienced needed to make sure your dog is taken the best care of. Wether big or small, a good boy or good girl, you can rely on me to walk, feed, bathe and sit your dog as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel like you're leaving your dog in capable and loving hands; your dog will be safe and have a whole lot of fun on outings with me. Sometimes I will even bring my own dog Yogy too so they can make friends. Reliable, affordable and providing your dog with walkie's that are easy for you. I have previous experience dog walking and currently my walking schedule is approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm during weekdays. I never take dogs out in groups bigger than four and can offer private walks too. Weekends walks and sitting are subject to availability. It is of the upmost importance to me that your dog is safe whilst in my care. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home as to not unsettle them in different settings but am also able to care for dogs in my flat too. I always make sure my pals are well fed and watered with regular toilet breaks. Whilst on walks dog's remain on the lead until in an open space in a park or field where I feel comfortable to let them run freely. This is of course a conversation between the owner and myself as we access your dogs needs and confidence and so I will provide my method accordingly.
About: Currently I work part time from home teaching English online. I can only accept dogs that are happy to have 4 hours of downtime while I’m online! Outside of that I have a lot of time for walks and play, it’s really a pleasure to have a dog in the house, even when I can't commit to having my own full time at the moment as I often travel. Happy to have rescues / anxious dogs as I used to have a rescue Greyhound and we can offer a quiet calm environment at home. Also happy to arrange a meet and greet before hand so your dog can meet me before they come to stay and you can let me know their requirements! I usually work 9-1, so will fit in a 45 minute walk before this and a 45 minute walk after. I have breaks in between classes I’d anyone needs a wee break and happy to really do as many walks as your dog would like! I'm available 7 days a week for bookings, but don’t work Sunday or Monday for any higher energy dogs that I can’t accept when I have work. I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! I live with my best friend, Alex, who is also a big animal lover and mostly works from home so there will always be one of us free for belly rubs.

All my houseplants are high up out of reach a well as i've known a few dogs that like to try and nibble these!! If looking after a dog in the owners home i obvously treat it with respect and follow their instructions on the dogs home routine.
About: I have taken care of many cats and kittens with great experience in medication administration as well as any other pet care required!. I am able to deliver medication orally in addition to any topical medications. I am currently working part time as a Teaching assistant therefore I have plenty of time to look after your furry friends!. I love to care for every kind of animal and would love to create a safe environment for your furry friend. I care for pets as if they are my own, I have a deep love for stray furry friends too!. I can have them boarding with and also housesit in their own home 🐶 If you have a pet that is not able to have my pet there I can accommodate, please be rest assured I have a dog ( Bella) that has an unusual bond & has had no problem ever with dogs or cats. Owners are usually shocked I live alone with my doggy Bella who is a lovely friendly Cavalier. I work a few hours doing voluntary work so I’m around 24/7. If you are booking please work on a drop off/pick up time that matches within reason. Although I am available at you first asking it is not a definite booked unless payed to Rover and will be marked as still available till then. I do not get paid for any booking till after it has been completed. I live in a quiet area and I have a fenced back garden. I live 2 minutes from a lovely woodland park and large green space to run & play.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life from a young age. I’ve raised my own dogs from puppyhood through to adulthood as well as having cats and I regularly care for my brother’s Staffy, who is the sweetest soul! I was also fortunate to learn puppy training to a very high standard from an ex-police dog handler, giving me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, training and communication. I’m a very nurturing, patient and soft-hearted person who genuinely loves getting to know each animal’s individual personality. As the area is not fenced, I would always keep dogs securely on a lead when outside unless their owner has specifically discussed a suitable alternative with me. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual needs and will follow their usual routines, feeding instructions, medication and house rules wherever possible. I’ll make sure they have a calm, safe and loving environment, with plenty of company, walks, playtime, enrichment and cuddles. About: I have adored and been around dogs all my life , both mine own and other dogs I've been trusted to look after. I'm experience handling breeds of all sizes and temperaments. From puppies to elderly dogs needing special care, . I have attended dog training and behaviour sessions in order to better understand individual and varieties of dog personalities and there needs. I currently work part time in a shop, but its only one day a week 12-4ish so still plenty of time or visits and walks. Apart from that im a practicing artist and writer working from home, so am available and happy to look after a dog most of the time. My own dog lives in my home so it is a dog-proof and safe place, my dog is a very friendly young spaniel, so if you dog needed to come to my house that would be no problem at all. However i would be inclined to want to look after a dog in its own home to avoid them becoming anxious or overwhelming both dogs. Also having a dog myself means i know some good walking spots and where its safe to let them off leads!
About: I’ve been dog sitting privately for over a year, I’ve had dogs of all sizes from a pug to German Sheperd. Dog had to be child friendly but I am experienced in dealing with a dogs that are high energy. I also have experience dealing with dogs with challenging behaviour, for example a German shepherd I looked after needed to avoid other dogs so keep on a tight lead and actively avoided places that was busy with other dogs. I don’t have a garden but there are many large parks near me with dog walking routes, that I take my little boy to every day after school on his bike. Any enquiries please don’t hesitate to message me! Due to my work schedule I am only out the house 2 to 4 hours but this is not a daily occurrence, some days I work from home and home at the weekends. I can walk dogs in mornings, afternoon and evenings. I live on a friendly, peaceful street just off the main road, surrounded by lovely dog-walking areas, green spaces, and parks within walking distance.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.
