About: I have adored and been around dogs all my life , both mine own and other dogs I've been trusted to look after. I'm experience handling breeds of all sizes and temperaments. From puppies to elderly dogs needing special care, . I have attended dog training and behaviour sessions in order to better understand individual and varieties of dog personalities and there needs. I currently work part time in a shop, but its only one day a week 12-4ish so still plenty of time or visits and walks. Apart from that im a practicing artist and writer working from home, so am available and happy to look after a dog most of the time. My own dog lives in my home so it is a dog-proof and safe place, my dog is a very friendly young spaniel, so if you dog needed to come to my house that would be no problem at all. However i would be inclined to want to look after a dog in its own home to avoid them becoming anxious or overwhelming both dogs. Also having a dog myself means i know some good walking spots and where its safe to let them off leads!

I offer a home from home boarding experience, where every dog is treated as part of the family , with tons of love, attention, exercise and reassurance throughout their stay . Clean and well behaved small to medium sized dogs are even allowed to curl up on the sofa , if that’s what they are used to. My one to one approach , unlike busy boarding kennels and boarders that take on multiple dogs from multiple families , allows me to get to know your dog , follow their routine and help them feel settled whilst they are away from home . Your dog’s well-being is always my priority, so you can have peace of mind , knowing they are in safe and experienced hands . I work part-time at a local school three days per week; my husband works full time from home. This means your much loved pooch will enjoy plenty of company, care and attention throughout their stay. Our home is calm and settled, with our children now grown up, with one son still living at home. We also share our home with Theo, our adorable Sproodle, who loves having a four-legged friends to stay and keep him company. Above all , we love all dogs and want every dog who stays with us to feel relaxed and happy whilst in our care. The house is detached with a large walled garden at the front and a large secure garden at the back so there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to play and chill out . We have a large kitchen , utility room and living room all of which are dog friendly so there’s plenty of space for your pooch to find a quiet corner of their own without feeling overwhelmed . I will only take on a max of 2 dogs who must be from the same home . My dog Theo is a fun loving sociable Sproodle who will love some company . Until recently we had a golden retriever that sadly passed away so Theo is used to sharing his home with another dog .

About: I am a trustworthy and reliable dog walker/sitter based in Todmorden, Calderdale. I have plenty of experience looking after dogs of a range of ages and breeds including a young German Shepherd, a Manchester Terrier and an elderly Alaskan Malamute (big dog!). I am comfortable with dogs of all sorts of temperaments and have experience caring for anxious dogs. I have a flexible approach so that you get the care that suits your dogs needs and ensure you get the level of communication you want throughout. I specialise in solo walks and ad hoc holiday care. I already regularly walk a staffy and look after a yorkshire terrior/jack russell cross on a weekly basis. A client quote: "Fran looked after Alfi while we were away for a long weekend, and we felt very reassured that he was in good hands. Communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Fran. We will be using her again and again, and highly recommend others looks for a reliable and competent dog sitter / boarder" I currently regularly walk a dog at lunch-times (tues-fri). Otherwise i work part-time (and quite flexibly) from home so am very available to give lots of attention to any dogs in my care. I live with very close to lots of great walks as well! I'm happy for dogs to sit on the sofa if you are! i have spacious living room and kitchen as well as an enclosed yard. All my houseplants are high up out of reach a well as i've known a few dogs that like to try and nibble these!! If looking after a dog in the owners home i obvously treat it with respect and follow their instructions on the dogs home routine.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.

About: I’ve been dog sitting privately for over a year, I’ve had dogs of all sizes from a pug to German Sheperd. Dog had to be child friendly but I am experienced in dealing with a dogs that are high energy. I also have experience dealing with dogs with challenging behaviour, for example a German shepherd I looked after needed to avoid other dogs so keep on a tight lead and actively avoided places that was busy with other dogs. I don’t have a garden but there are many large parks near me with dog walking routes, that I take my little boy to every day after school on his bike. Any enquiries please don’t hesitate to message me! Due to my work schedule I am only out the house 2 to 4 hours but this is not a daily occurrence, some days I work from home and home at the weekends. I can walk dogs in mornings, afternoon and evenings. I live on a friendly, peaceful street just off the main road, surrounded by lovely dog-walking areas, green spaces, and parks within walking distance.
