“Murphy had a great time whilst being look after by Joe and Anna, the pictures they shared to keep us updated showed that - long walks on the moors and lots of cuddles! They clearly loved having him and would definitely book again, thank you!”

“Phillip absolutely loved his time with Charlotte! We received loads of pictures and videos, he was really made to feel like one of the family. She took him out to pub gardens, on loads of lovely walks and even on a train ride. Phil came home relaxed and happy, we can tell he had loads of love and attention. We will definitely be booking again.”

“Freddie has just come back from a short stay at Carol's, where he was made well and truly at home. He clearly revelled in all the attention he got. It's nice to feel confident that he is in such good hands and he will certainly look forward to his next holiday. Thank you!”
“Thank you so much for looking after Mabel again. She had the best time, I can tell from the photos you sent and from having to drag her out of your house again when we picked her up ha ha. I don’t have to worry at all when she is with you. She already cannot wait for her next visit. X”

“Amy did a fantastic sit for Tess - it’s so clear she loves animals. Communication was amazing with lots of photos and Tess was so obviously well looked after. She even ate her food which is incredibly rare when she’s not at home. We will definitely use Amy again and would highly recommend her.”

“Herbie stayed with Claire while we went to the oasis gig. This was Herbies first time with Claire and she arranged a meet and greet before the stay. On the day Claire got in touch and was flexible about when we dropped off. Claire in friendly and her home is spotlessly clean. She asked lots of questions to understand Herbies routine. When I collected Herbie Claire gave me a full rundown of events.”

“Tom & Laura, Thank you for being a wonderful host to our 2 Boston Terriers. Our first meeting was greeted with warmth from the start and gave us confidence to leave our dogs with you. We felt at ease and reassured that our dogs would be left in a loving home whilst we were away for 5 days. It was great to regularly receive updates via texts along with pictures of them out on walks and playing in a safe and secure garden. What was really nice was the feedback about our dogs it was so accurate and this showed us you had taken the time to get to known their behaviours and characters. We would have no hesitation leaving our dogs with you again when we go away on our summer hols or any short breaks in the future. We have no doubts they enjoyed their stay with you all and would 100% recommend you to our family & friends. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for looking after our dogs who are our family. ♥️ Hughie & Rachelle”

“Sandy has been great with a very needy GSD that was unfortunately ill the day we dropped her off! She had plenty to contend with and took it all in her stride, kept us informed the whole time and looked after Freya perfectly. It was such a a relief knowing she was in good hands while we were away.”

I am comfortable with dogs of all sorts of temperaments and have experience caring for anxious dogs. I have a flexible approach so that you get the care that suits your dogs needs and ensure you get the level of communication you want throughout. I specialise in solo walks and ad hoc holiday care. I already regularly walk a staffy and look after a yorkshire terrior/jack russell cross on a weekly basis. A client quote: "Fran looked after Alfi while we were away for a long weekend, and we felt very reassured that he was in good hands. Communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for Fran. We will be using her again and again, and highly recommend others looks for a reliable and competent dog sitter / boarder" I currently regularly walk a dog at lunch-times (tues-fri). About: I’ve lived in BD13, Thornton for over 30 years, and have been a dog owner for the last 10 years. I retired from FT work in 2024, so have plenty of spare time. I walk daily, no matter what the weather, and know some great off road routes for dog walking, so can help your dog maintain a level of fitness if for any reason you’re unable to do so, whether due to health issues, or because of work or family commitments, or if you just need a break! I’ll record walks on Strava so you can see what exercise your dog has done, and I’ll send you pics to show your doggie having fun! Car owner, so can drive to / from anywhere local. For home boarding, I live with my wife of 33 years, along with Angus, our 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. If your dog stays with us, they will be welcomed, and treated as our own. I retired from full time work in 2024, so have plenty of time to spare, and can offer dog care / walking services on most days. Even if it’s just a one off, to support your dog whilst you’re away for a special occasion, I can hopefully help out. My house has a lovely green garden, mostly fenced, so if your pet isn’t ready for walking the full requested period, they can relax either in my house or garden whilst you have time out! I will record all walks on strava, and send you screenshots of routes, so you know your dog has been exercised, aswell as pics if you wish.

“Evie gives out a very calm aura which was very therapeutic for our 2 dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed their stay and didn't seem to miss us 1 bit. She was very mindful of the weather, caring and welcoming. She let the dogs feel at home. We certainly would ask Evie to help us out again as Piggly Wiggly and Charlie would love another holiday with her! Linda and Paddy”

“Daniel is a fantastic boarder who really knows his stuff about dogs — behaviours, training, psychology the lot. Our two bouncy labradoodles have come home after a week and are relaxed and happy — possibly more than they were when we dropped them off ;) Daniel is clearly experienced in looking after and training all types of dogs, including specialist working dogs, and his expertise really shows. We’ll definitely look to Daniel again for boarding in the future. Rebecca”

“Maddie and Joe looked after our 10 year old rescue greyhound, first time he'd been away from home without us, they kept in touch , and we're very caring and helpful to make sure Buddy was ok. We would certainly recommend them . Thanks again.👍”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving dogs the attention and care they deserve. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too. I have no dogs of my own so either there will be company of up to 4 dogs or if specified I will go solo on occasions if possible which we can discuss.
