Animal lover with lots of time for fun and walks!
Currently I work part time from home teaching English online. I can only accept dogs that are happy to have 4 hours of downtime while I’m online! Outside of that I have a lot of time for walks and play, it’s really a pleasure to have a dog in the house, even when I can't commit to having my own full time at the moment as I often travel. Happy to have rescues / anxious dogs as I used to have a rescue Greyhound and we can offer a quiet calm environment at home. Also happy to arrange a meet and greet before hand so your dog can meet me before they come to stay and you can let me know their requirements!

Sandy was great with Jasper! He’s quite anxious but he settled quickly, enjoyed a long walk & chilled happily for most of the day. Sandy sent lots of pictures and videos through the day & was flexible around drop off and pick up - which was really helpful. If we’re ever back in Hebden, I’d love to bring Jasper back!
Sandy was amazing, so chilled, warm & welcoming, from our initial meet prior to the booking, Milo was happy in Sandy's company. I was really worried as it's my 1st time away from him, he usually travels with us on longer trips & breaks away, this time it was Festival Time, no place for a dog. I knew signal was going to be bad so had to feel comfortable, Sandy sent daily updates (not that I could see them all, however it assured me he was fine and all was good) now I've seen all the images, I can see he had fun, relaxed & clearly charmed everyone Milo & Sandy met. Sandy has access to a park & safe great walks on her doorstep & she opens her house completely to you're fur baby. Will Milo stay with Sandy again? 100% Yes Thank You again Sandy
Putting your trust in someone to look after your dogs is a very big thing. Having had a short stay for our dogs last year with Sandy, we knew they were happy to stay with her, so we were thrilled she was available to look after them again for longer this time. Dropping them off it was clear they remembered Sandy and were very happy to see her, rather than feeling sad to leave them, we felt confident they were going to enjoy their stay. We had photo and video updates which we looked forward to and when we collected them, it was lovely to see how happy they were. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sandy to look after your fur babies, I’m sure they will have as good a time as ours did and they will be in very good hands.
Hermann and Sandy made friends at their very first meeting ahead of his stay. This meant he was very relaxed when I left him with her. Sandy sent me regular updates and pictures which reassured me that Hermann was in very good hands and meant I could relax on my holiday. I'll definitely be happy to leave Hermann with Sandy whenever we go away in future. Big thanks from both Hermann and me!
First time staying away from home for our two bulldogs. Sandy was welcoming and reassuring, we knew they were in good hands. The photo updates were great, we would happily book them another stay with Sandy. Great communication and highly recommended.
Sandy undertook our request at short notice following a cancellation, and was the perfect host for our Jack Russell terrier, Lily. Communication with Sandy was first class, with us receiving regular updates whilst away including photos and videos, showing that Lily was clearly comfortable and happy. We are very grateful to Sandy for looking after Lily, who returned home very relaxed.

Schedule
I usually work 9-1, so will fit in a 45 minute walk before this and a 45 minute walk after. I have breaks in between classes I’d anyone needs a wee break and happy to really do as many walks as your dog would like! I'm available 7 days a week for bookings, but don’t work Sunday or Monday for any higher energy dogs that I can’t accept when I have work.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small yard and no other pets, so your dog/cat will have reign of the house! I live with my best friend, Alex, who is also a big animal lover and mostly works from home so there will always be one of us free for belly rubs.
A typical day
Im flexible, but an average day will include 2 longer walks and then a sniff/stroll around the local park every few hours while I’m not working.
