About: Our experience with dogs 🐾 Ellie has always had dogs and has experience with a wide range of breeds, including rescue dogs with different backgrounds and needs. She also set up her own rescue, Praxie’s Promise, through which she has helped rehome hundreds of dogs. She is Canine First Aid trained and has a real understanding of how important it is to provide dogs with patience, care and a safe, loving environment. Gethin has always grown up around pets and has plenty of experience caring for dogs. Over the years, we have regularly looked after friends’ dogs, from walks and day-to-day care to having them stay with us while they're on holiday. Between us, we have a great deal of experience with dogs of different personalities, breeds and needs, and we want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, settled and part of the family. We both work shifts, but Gethin works from home full-time, so there will always be someone around to care for your dog and provide company throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of attention, affection and company while staying with us. We’re both active people and enjoy getting out for walks, so we’re happy to provide as much exercise and outdoor time as your dog needs, whether that’s relaxed walks or something more energetic. We are both very flexible and happy to fit into your dogs schedule, whatever they need! We also have our own dog, Chevy, who is 11 years old and very calm and friendly. He is very adaptable to all kinds of dog personalities and is used to being around dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. We’ll make sure every dog staying with us gets the attention, exercise and care they need, while also giving them the space and time to settle in and feel comfortable. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be our priority. We have a secure, dog-friendly home with a fully enclosed 5ft fenced garden, giving dogs safe access to fresh air and outdoor space throughout the day whenever they need it. As Gethin works from home, there will usually be someone around throughout the day, meaning dogs won’t be left alone for long periods. With Ellie’s extensive experience caring for and rehoming dogs, including rescue dogs with a variety of personalities you can feel confident that your dog is in experienced and caring hands. We have kept our own dogs safe for 20+ years and your dogs will be looked after like one of our own. We’ll introduce dogs to Chevy carefully and at their own pace. We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and will keep you updated during their stay, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and well cared for.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have had dogs and cats throughout my life, including a Labrador and a Cocker Spaniel, both of whom I helped raise from puppies. I’ve also had cats of my own. Over the years, I’ve looked after lots of different dogs for friends and family, including Labradors, Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Saint Bernards and Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of very different sizes, ages and personalities. I’m also a volunteer dog walker for a local dog charity and usually spend part of most weekends walking and spending time with the dogs there. I absolutely love animals and genuinely feel happiest with a dog around the house. I’m not in a position to commit to having my own dog at the moment, which is why dog sitting suits me so well. I get to enjoy having animals around while giving someone else the reassurance that their dog is being looked after by someone who genuinely loves having them there. I work from home the vast majority of the time, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. Because I’m home most of the day, pets would have plenty of company and wouldn’t be left alone for long periods. For dogs, a typical routine would usually include: * A morning walk * Another walk around lunchtime * An evening walk, depending on their usual routine and energy levels * Plenty of attention, company and cuddles throughout the day At weekends, I often go out for walks and generally have a fairly relaxed schedule, so any pet staying with me would very much be included in whatever I’m doing. My home is calm, quiet, child-free, pet-free and smoke-free, so it’s a lovely relaxed environment for pets to settle into. I have a fully secure yard for toilet breaks, as well as a park just five minutes from my home, so it’s very easy to get outside whenever needed. I’m very happy to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including: * Feeding times * Walks and toilet breaks * Sleeping arrangements * Any little habits that help them feel comfortable and at home If they normally sleep on the sofa, in the bedroom or even on the bed, that’s absolutely fine with me if their owner is happy with it. My main aim is to make any pet staying with me feel safe, relaxed, loved and genuinely at home.

About: I have loved dogs since I can remember and cannot pass one on the street without stopping to say hello. I am also now thinking I would like to work with them for a living so currently undertaking some training courses to help me to do that. Have had dogs from puppies and dog sat for several friends and family. I could provide references if desired. Please note : when I have put 20 years experience , I am meaning that's how long I have had dogs I am currently WFH 5 days a week on a very flexible schedule. I would walk your dog separate to mine during the week but walk them all together on a Sunday due to having access to a bigger car for walk location variation. Dependant on the weather as to how much time I would be in the garden with them (wouldn't be left unsupervised) but obviously regular toilet breaks are a given. I have a safe enclosed garden and both neighbours also have dogs. My two are friendly with Molly (Westie) being more playful than Dora (PBGV). I have several dog beds in several rooms but the dogs can go where they please in the house including sofas. (I fit round them most of the time!) If you prefer them to be crated at night, please just let me know. My dogs tend to prefer to be in a room where someone is but are free to roam. There are dog seat belts in the back of the car if I were to take them anywhere for walks. Your dog will be fed separately to mine as Molly is cheeky and tries to steal food. I had 3 dogs but lost our beloved Whippet last year, but used to 3 dogs in the house.

About: I have grown up with dogs and have always loved being around them. Honestly, I probably like dogs more than humans. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, so looking after them feels natural and enjoyable to me. Back at my mum’s home, we have a Beagle, and I also have a Cockapoo. I understand that every dog has their own personality, habits and routine, and I’m happy to give them the attention, patience and care they need. My children would love for us to have another dog, but before making that commitment, I thought it would be lovely to spend more time with dogs through pet sitting. I’m therefore looking forward to welcoming another furry friend to play with, go for walks and keep company. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, giving plenty of cuddles and following your pet’s normal routine and instructions. I’m also happy to spend extra time with dogs who need companionship or reassurance while their owners are away. Most importantly, I will treat your dog as if they were part of my own family. I want them to feel safe, happy, loved and comfortable while they are with me. I have a flexible routine and can make time in my day for pet care. I enjoy going for walks and spending time with dogs, so caring for a pet fits naturally into my daily routine. I can provide regular walks, playtime, feeding and companionship, while making sure each pet’s routine and individual needs are followed. I treat every pet as part of the family and take their safety and wellbeing very seriously. I have grown up with dogs and currently have a Cockapoo, so I understand how important it is to provide a safe, calm and loving environment. Before caring for your pet, I will make sure I understand their routine, personality, feeding requirements, walking habits and any special instructions. I am particularly patient with nervous or shy dogs and will give them time to settle in. I will always supervise pets carefully, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure they are comfortable and happy. I am also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your dog is having a lovely time while you are away.

About: I have taken care of many of my friends dogs whilst they go on holiday(s) over the last 5 years. This has included two beautiful, high energy spaniels and older Dachshunds. I work from home and have a spaniel myself so I’m constantly out and about making sure they have the best day. I wake up around 5.45 on week days and take George (my spaniel) on a nice 5k walk along the canal. I work from home so will get my morning meetings out of the way, let George out in the back yard in between. I usually walk to the local park at lunch which is around 2.5k round trip. And after work, depending on what I have planned we usually are out and about places. Quick walk around the block just before we go to bed. I have a fenced yard. Plenty of room in the kitchen to keep a cage. A ring camera that overlooks into the kitchen for if I need to nip out to the shops. And George is the most loving companion, he has been so socialised since I’ve had him that he loves having other dogs over for sleepovers.
