About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and great retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my boxer cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.
“Absolutely the best. Jessica took such good care of my dog, Buddy, that I believe he wanted to stay. I will always use her whenever she is available and still sitting dogs.. I trust her completely.”

“Sophie looked after Wilf for a short stay recently . The stay went smoothly , communication was excellent and more importantly Wilf was looked after as if he was their own. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate for Wilf to stay again.”

About: I grew up with dogs, a mixed breed and a whippet and as an adult have had 3 sighthounds - 2 beautiful greyhounds and my current dog; gorgeous Arlo the lurcher. I have cared for dogs of all ages and have experience caring for dogs with very significant medical needs. My boy Arlo was diagnosed with a tumour this year and has just completed radiotherapy. He's now doing brilliantly and is back to his joyful best. All my dogs have been rescues from situations of neglect, so I am also experienced in supporting dogs who have experienced trauma. I love dogs with all my heart and make friends with every dog I meet. Dogs often seem especially drawn to me, with many owners commenting that their dogs don't usually make a fuss of strangers! I promise to treat your dog with the same love, respect and care that I give my own dog. Because of my work I have an enhanced DBS checks, so you can be absolutely sure I am a safe and trustworthy person to leave your precious pup with. I work in education part-time, so term time I can do Mondays, Fridays. Saturdays and Sundays. During the school holidays I am largely available every day. My dog Arlo likes plenty of exercise and fun to keep his brain stimulated, so days with us are usually busy; at least 3 hours of walking and playing with toys at home also - Arlo is happy to share. I have a small fenced garden and live close to lots of lovely walks. Arlo and I love to explore the countryside on long walks and would love your doggo to keep us company. On hot summer days we choose woodland walks with plenty of shade and places to have a swim and a drink.
“Buddy and Bruno stayed with Daisy whilst we were on holiday for a week. Daisy was really accommodating with drop off and pick up times, and communicated with us whilst we were away and even sent pictures which was great. Buddy and Bruno looked relaxed, which is not like Buddy who has separation anxiety. I would highly recommend Daisy and we will definently use her again”

“Amy was brilliant, so welcoming and great communication start to finish. Goose clearly felt happy and he was the calmest he's been when we've picked him up from anywhere! Absolutely would recommend and we'll be booking again in the future 😊”

“Jacqui really took care of our furry girl. Her dog looked after her too! I couldn't have asked for more and totally felt Elly was settled and very happy. We will definitely use Jacqui again.”

“Sue was great when looking after our puppy recently. Regular communication throughout the overnight stay and Indie seemed happy on return to us. I would recommend Sue and looking forward to her caring for Indie in the near future.”

“Alison was brilliant with our staffie Bo, who stayed overnight at her house. The regular updates and photos were much appreciated and Bo seemed very relaxed and comfortable with Alison (especially since she can be very hyper!) Would definitely recommend :)”

“Adina was a great carer for Lucy during her one week stay. Adina was responsible, quick to respond to our queries, and very flexible and understanding of Lucy's needs.”

“We would highly recommend Charlotte if you’re looking for a sitter, she was absolutely great from organising a meet and greet and providing regular updates while we were away. Olive had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”

About: I am caring in nature and completely prorituse their safety and happiness. I provide love, cuddles, laughter, walks, I love taking them to beaches and giving one to one quality time.... I simply love them all and see them as superior to most humans. I adore their nature, their complete 'in the moment' attitude and find that we can learn so much from them. The thought of spending time in nature with these beautiful animals and seeing them enjoy their lives is so fulfilling. They will be cared for and happy and will enjoy time spent with me. I look forward to caring for them all!! I have an enhanced dbs certificate. I am Around every weekend. Available Friday to Sunday. We go on lovely walks in and around otley and the chevin is a regular go to! I have a lovely house in centre of otley with a nice enclosed garden. We have a cozy, safe house and I don’t drink or smoke.

“Our Tibetan Terrier spent the weekend with Ericka while we were away. Ericka was very professional from a great first meet and greet to regular updates during and a debrief at the end. Our dog is a bit nervous but Ericka took everything on with grace. Her love for dogs really shone through the whole time. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Leah was great with our 8 month old Cocker. She sent loads of photos and videos and Kiko clearly had a great time. In the build up to taking her (her first visit) she was responsive and friendly and we took Kiko to see if she got on well with Leahs pugs. We think Kiko may have had a better holiday than us! 😄 We would definitely use Leah again.”

Jacqui has been absolutely amazing with Lola, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly. She has helped us out with last-minute requests on several occasions, which has been such a lifesaver, and she’s always been so accommodating. Lola absolutely adores staying with Jacqui and Winnie. As soon as we turn onto their street, she gets so excited and can’t wait to get inside! It’s such a reassuring feeling knowing she’s genuinely happy to be there. Jacqui is incredibly attentive to Lola and all of her little quirks. She takes her on lovely walks, lets her sleep on the bed (which we really appreciate!), and always treats her like one of her own. We also love receiving regular photo updates, and it’s obvious from every picture just how happy and well cared for Lola is. Every time Lola comes home she’s relaxed, content, and clearly has had the best time. It’s such a comfort knowing she’s in such caring hands. I would recommend Jacqui in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive dog sitter.

Nellie had a wonderful week with Sarah. Lots of fun walks and playtime in the garden. We met Sarah in advance to chat about Nellie’s routine etc. Communication was great throughout the stay, we saw lots of pictures of her on walks etc with updates on how she was settling. All very reassuring for us. I would highly recommend Sarah!

Buddy had a wonderful time with Abbie! Buddy stayed with Abbie for two nights recently, we met for a meet and greet ahead of this. Abbie was prepared with all the questions needed to ensure Buddy had a comfortable and safe stay. Abbie kept me updated through his stay on how he was doing and all the fun they got up to. It helped me feel at ease and know he was in good hands. Thanks so much Abbie

Bon was absolutely marvellous with Luna. We would definitely consider him as our first port of call. We had constant updates, pictures and videos of his time with her. We were able to enjoy our holidays knowing that she was in really good hands. Thank you very much Bon.
