What sets us apart from other sitters is the warm, home-from-home environment we provide. We’re a dog-loving household, and with my retired mum at home during the day, there’s always someone around to give your dog plenty of love and attention. Our two friendly, well-socialised dogs also help new dogs feel settled and part of the family from the start. We have experience with dogs of all ages — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — and we always adapt our care to suit each dog’s needs. Whether it’s supporting with basic training, administering medication, or providing a calm space for older dogs to relax, we’re committed to making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

We cannot thank Jacqui enough for the wonderful care she gave our 4‑month‑old puppy Snuggle while he stayed away from home. From the very start, we felt completely at ease—Jacqui is so warm, trustworthy, and clearly has such a loving way with dogs 💖 What made it extra special was how thoughtfully she kept us involved: she sent regular updates with lovely photos, sweet videos, and detailed notes about how Snuggle was doing, what he’d been up to, and how settled he felt. It meant the world to us to see our little one happy and safe, and we never felt out of the loop at all! Jacqui’s home is such a caring, welcoming place—Snuggle was loved and looked after as if he were her own. We would 100% recommend Jacqui to all our family and friends without any hesitation, and we will definitely be using her services again in the future! Jacqui has been absolutely amazing with Lola, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more highly. She has helped us out with last-minute requests on several occasions, which has been such a lifesaver, and she’s always been so accommodating. Lola absolutely adores staying with Jacqui and Winnie. As soon as we turn onto their street, she gets so excited and can’t wait to get inside! It’s such a reassuring feeling knowing she’s genuinely happy to be there. Jacqui is incredibly attentive to Lola and all of her little quirks. She takes her on lovely walks, lets her sleep on the bed (which we really appreciate!), and always treats her like one of her own. We also love receiving regular photo updates, and it’s obvious from every picture just how happy and well cared for Lola is. Every time Lola comes home she’s relaxed, content, and clearly has had the best time. It’s such a comfort knowing she’s in such caring hands. I would recommend Jacqui in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive dog sitter.
Jacqui looked after our dog Sylvie perfectly. Couldn't have asked for more. Great communication beforehand and during. Very handy for Leeds Bradford Airport too. 10/10.
Leo really enjoyed his stay with Jacqui! He had some lovely long walks at the Chevin and along the banks. Jacqui kept us updated on how Leo was doing and treated him like she would her own dog! We’ll definitely be rebooking with Jacqui in future.
Jacqui really took care of our furry girl. Her dog looked after her too! I couldn't have asked for more and totally felt Elly was settled and very happy. We will definitely use Jacqui again.
Jacqui is and always has been an animal lover, especially dogs. It’s because of her love for animals she became a vegetarian several years ago. She has a dog herself, a labradoodle called Winnie that she loves deeply and made sure she was bringing the dog up in the best possible way by taking her on one to one training sessions which as we all know doesn’t come cheap. I would be fully confident leaving my pet in her charge.

Schedule
I work full-time from home in a corporate role, so I’m around all day to provide consistent care and attention. On weekdays, I take my 4-year-old female Labradoodle out for a longer walk around 8am, and again in the evening around 5pm. Although I don’t have a garden, I’m only a 2-minute walk from Yeadon Tarn, so I can easily take dogs out frequently throughout the day for toilet breaks, short walks, or exercise. At weekends, we start the day with a longer walk in the morning, and dogs will usually join me in whatever I’m doing during the day, while still having plenty of rest time at home if preferred.

I always prioritise each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets are supervised and cared for in a calm, clean environment, with plenty of attention and regular walks throughout the day. I follow any instructions provided by the owner closely, including feeding routines, medication, and preferred walking habits.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a longer morning walk where I like to vary the route to keep things interesting and mentally stimulating for the dogs. Throughout the day, dogs will have regular toilet breaks, short walks to Yeadon Tarn, and plenty of attention while I work from home. In the evening, we usually go to the same park for a consistent routine and relaxed wind-down walk. At home, I also use enrichment activities such as toys, lick mats, and Kongs to keep dogs mentally engaged and entertained.
