I work full time from home which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I can take walks during lunch breaks and longer walks after work, with regular toilet breaks whenever needed. My home is smoke-free, pet-free, and child-free, providing a quiet and relaxed environment where visiting pets can feel completely at ease. I take time to get to know each animal's routine, personality, and comfort levels, ensuring they always feel secure and cared for. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions carefully – from feeding and walks to medication and playtime – to maintain their usual routine and keep them happy. I always keep a close eye on pets, use secure leads and harnesses on walks, and make sure doors and gates are properly closed. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home, wherever they are. I'm an early riser, so first thing I like to do is to take your dog for a walk. Living in LS7 there's plenty of places to go - Chapel Allerton Park, Gledhow Woods, Roundhay Park... If it's a larger dog I tend to go a little further afield; Golden Acre Park, Meanwood Park, Adel Woods or other - to ensure they have plenty of space to have a run and get some exercise. This is followed by a lunchtime walk, and an evening walk. I also take dogs out on a toilet break walk before I go to sleep. I live in a house, with a walled off garden. It's a child, pet and smoke free environment so I am able to give your pet the attention it deserves.

I have recently lost my own dog and want to be able to give other dogs the care and support they need x I work from home so I have lots of time to play, take your dog out for walks and care for their needs x I want your dog to feel safe so I can additional time with them if their anxious or need the additional reassurance x I live close to the city centre in a dog friendly complex x I have a car and a safety seat so you dog can be safe and comfortable if you are ok with them going on short adventures with me x I live in a ground floor flat with a large secure balcony. About: Since birth, I've lived with all different dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house of 4 dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.

It was the first time I’ve ever left him with anyone other than family. as he has separation anxiety, I have never settled on holiday and always worried about Reg whilst I’ve been away. From the meet and greet I just knew Reggie was going to be in safe hands and have lots of fun. I was so at ease and not stressed about leaving him at all. I had constant updates and pictures sent to me and Reggie had the best time. He was actually sad to come home. I won’t leave Reggie with anyone else from now on. He got lots of walks, and cuddles. He was so relaxed and well looked after and made great friends with Kibou and Laura with lots of snuggles on the sofa. Laura took Lenny for days out and lovely walks and he had such a brilliant time there. It’s the first time we’ve ever left Lenny with anyone outside of family and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. About: I have loved all animals since a small child. I grew up with a west highland terrier, my brother had Rottweilers and I’ve helped look after neighbours dogs including labradors. I’ve been on borrow my doggie the last few years having looked after a whole range of dogs, including a rescue. I’m looking forward to looking after dogs on Rover now, too! I work full time, but I already have morning, lunchtime and evening walks (I jokingly describe myself as a dog!). Kirkstall Abbey and Becketts park are both less than 10 minutes to get to by foot - but I do have a car too for longer journeys. I’m in a flat, but it’s large and has a nice communal garden, my neighbours do have two very cute Maltese dogs, so any dog I care for will need to be friendly with other dogs. My flat is large and I have a nice medium sized fenced and gated communal garden. Any dogs I look after will get regular toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, so your dog will get all of my attention!

We left Cooper with Thomas whilst we went on holiday and he had a fantastic time. Coop can be quite uncomfortable around new people but over the course of the week and the constant picture updates he settled in really well. Our initial dog sitter fell through last minute, so by the time we found Lois we were already feeling extremely anxious about leaving Dino behind for the first time and were genuinely questioning whether we should even go away at all. From the moment we met her, Lois completely put us at ease with her calm, kind and reassuring nature. It was immediately obvious how much she genuinely cares for animals, and Dino absolutely adored both her and her beautiful gentle pup. During Dino’s stay, Lois looked after him with so much love, patience and attention, treating him as if he were her own. She also took on an unexpected medication regimen that was only introduced on the very day he went into her care, and handled everything without hesitation or complaint. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She kept us constantly updated with messages, photos and reassurance throughout the week, which made such a difference and allowed us to finally relax knowing Dino was in such safe and caring hands. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and feel incredibly grateful that we found Lois when we did. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate and reliable to care for their pet, and she would absolutely be our first choice again in the future.
