“Jessica and James have been so helpful and accommodating for us and our anxious doggy! They were happy to see us for an initial meet and greet in a local park and then arrange a one night stay-over at short notice, as we wanted to check our dog would cope in a new place, in advance of our main summer holiday booking. They kept us very well-informed with messages, photos and videos, which really helped reassure us that all was going well. Lovely couple. Recommended! 👍”

“Even though it was a short stay for Pixie, I can definitely say that Pixie has an amazing time. Adina and her son, Noah, treated Pixie in a similar way like we do, walks, treats and lots of love and care. Pixie will definitely be going back to her second home again for sure Thanks a lot and highly appreciated and would definitely recommend.”

“Dawn is absolutely amazing…. Can not recommend enough. We got photos and update within an hour of leaving and twice daily reports, photos and videos. Dawn has two children who were also amazing with my little fur ball.”

About: I've cared for animals of all kinds and personalities from playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets recovering from surgery. I also have experience with rescue animals, including timid or nervous dogs and cats who need extra patience and reassurance, and have administered injections into diabetic animals in my care. I'll diligently adhere to your care routines to make sure you and your pet feels safe and supported. Whether it's a long walk, a gentle cuddle, or extra time to build trust, I always adapt to each animal's individual needs. I work full time from home which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I can take walks during lunch breaks and longer walks after work, with regular toilet breaks whenever needed. Your pet will rarely be left alone and I'm able to make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. My home is smoke-free, pet-free, and child-free, providing a quiet and relaxed environment where visiting pets can feel completely at ease. Your pet's safety and comfort is my top priority and in my home, I provide a clean, smoke-free, pet-free, and child-free environment, so visiting pets can relax in a calm and stress-free space. I take time to get to know each animal's routine, personality, and comfort levels, ensuring they always feel secure and cared for. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions carefully – from feeding and walks to medication and playtime – to maintain their usual routine and keep them happy. I always keep a close eye on pets, use secure leads and harnesses on walks, and make sure doors and gates are properly closed. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home, wherever they are. I'm an early riser, so first thing I like to do is to take your dog for a walk. Living in LS7 there's plenty of places to go - Chapel Allerton Park, Gledhow Woods, Roundhay Park... If it's a larger dog I tend to go a little further afield; Golden Acre Park, Meanwood Park, Adel Woods or other - to ensure they have plenty of space to have a run and get some exercise. This is followed by a lunchtime walk, and an evening walk. I also take dogs out on a toilet break walk before I go to sleep. I live in a house, with a walled off garden. It's a child, pet and smoke free environment so I am able to give your pet the attention it deserves.

I would always be with your dog if they wanted to explore the balcony and they would be not left alone. The flat is on one level and is accessible, comfy and safe x it is important for me to build trust with your dog that will come over time as we get to know each other x

About: Since birth, I've lived with all different dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house of 4 dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.

“Thank you for looking after Benny. Lovely to hear that he and the cats became friends and that he snuggled himself right in and felt at home. He's already looking forward to the next time.”

“We would highly recommend Charlotte if you’re looking for a sitter, she was absolutely great from organising a meet and greet and providing regular updates while we were away. Olive had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Lois looked after my 3 year old pup Reggie for a week whilst I was away. It was the first time I’ve ever left him with anyone other than family. as he has separation anxiety, I have never settled on holiday and always worried about Reg whilst I’ve been away. From the meet and greet I just knew Reggie was going to be in safe hands and have lots of fun. I was so at ease and not stressed about leaving him at all. I had constant updates and pictures sent to me and Reggie had the best time. He was actually sad to come home. I won’t leave Reggie with anyone else from now on. He got lots of walks, and cuddles. Thankyou Lois and Reece (and Dackerz) of course 🥰”

“Laura was amazing. Lenny had the best week with her and we wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. He was so relaxed and well looked after and made great friends with Kibou and Laura with lots of snuggles on the sofa. We got lots of lovely updates from Lenny’s time with Laura while we were away which was great and gave us peace of mind. Laura took Lenny for days out and lovely walks and he had such a brilliant time there. It’s the first time we’ve ever left Lenny with anyone outside of family and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. Laura’s communication was great in the build up and throughout and she even came to meet Lenny with Kibou beforehand to make sure the boys go on. 5 stars!!”

“Our dog Harvey had an amazing time staying with Helen. He made friends with Helen's pup Bonnie and they had great walks. Helen kept us well informed and sent pictures and videos on how he got on! He will definitely look forward to staying again 😊 thanks Helen!”

“Brilliant dog sitter. Looked after my nervous senior rescue who last minute had developed a UTI. I was in 2 minds about leaving him but Lucy was confident, professional and Flint adored her. She even got a loud goodbye bark 😂 Thanks so much ❤️”

About: I have loved all animals since a small child. I grew up with a west highland terrier, my brother had Rottweilers and I’ve helped look after neighbours dogs including labradors. I’ve been on borrow my doggie the last few years having looked after a whole range of dogs, including a rescue. I’m looking forward to looking after dogs on Rover now, too! I work full time, but I already have morning, lunchtime and evening walks (I jokingly describe myself as a dog!). Kirkstall Abbey and Becketts park are both less than 10 minutes to get to by foot - but I do have a car too for longer journeys. I’m in a flat, but it’s large and has a nice communal garden, my neighbours do have two very cute Maltese dogs, so any dog I care for will need to be friendly with other dogs. My flat is large and I have a nice medium sized fenced and gated communal garden. Any dogs I look after will get regular toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, so your dog will get all of my attention!

“An amazing sitter my babies loved her they had so much fun with Gayoung she kept us updated during the day and took care of them like they were her own will definitely book her again”

“Jessica was an excellent dog sitter responded promptly to messages and very helpful with timings. Snowy loved his time staying with Jessica and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.”

“Excellent service from start to finish, especially at such short notice. I was quite apprehensive at first about leaving my dogs, but I was quickly reassured. I received photos and updates, which really put my mind at ease. It’s clear they were very well cared for and happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Tracey again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring service.”

“Derry had such a great time with Rebecca! She was so easy to communicate with, asked all the right questions before his weekend visit and provided so many photos of him enjoying his weekend with them. She was very flexible and communicative with pickup and drop off. Derry came home happy and exhausted which tells me he had a great time. I would definitely let Derry stay with Rebecca again and would recommend her to anyone.”

Our greyhounds had a wonderful time staying with Abigail, Aleashia and Tiny. They kept us updated with daily photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while away. We felt very at ease and confident they received the best care. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

I honestly could not recommend Julie enough, she is the most loveliest person and treats dogs with the most care & love and so attentive. She kept me updated with photos and went on walks and little adventures which my dog loved and he was super comfortable from the beginning. He settled in right away and it was like a home away from home, she truly is the dog whisperer and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Thank you for giving my dog the best doggy holiday, he can’t wait to see you again soon❤️

We left Cooper with Thomas whilst we went on holiday and he had a fantastic time. Coop can be quite uncomfortable around new people but over the course of the week and the constant picture updates he settled in really well. Thanks to Thomas for making Coop feel comfortable and all the walks they went on together.

Isabella looked after our greyhound for nearly a week and it was great! We felt super comfortable leaving our dog with her, she was very flexible and friendly. She was accommodating to all our dog’s needs and requests. Thank you for taking such good care of her! Will be booking again.

Rebecca was absolutely amazing! Our doggie Benny came home so happy but was also clearly saddened to leave Rebecca’s house and that’s just the best sign that he had a great time. We received many updates and photos and Rebecca was always so quick to get back to us! Absolutely recommend to anyone ❤️

Laura was amazing!! I don't think I've ever been so utterly convinced from an initial meeting that Ollie would be in safe, capable, loving and fun hands. Lots of lovely pics and updates throughout, and Laura's dog Kibous is gorgeous - him and Ollie were clearly besties! Finding another whippet owner was definitely an advantage as they're a quirky breed! I will definitely be booking with Laura again when I'm next in the area - thank you SO much x

Our initial dog sitter fell through last minute, so by the time we found Lois we were already feeling extremely anxious about leaving Dino behind for the first time and were genuinely questioning whether we should even go away at all. From the moment we met her, Lois completely put us at ease with her calm, kind and reassuring nature. It was immediately obvious how much she genuinely cares for animals, and Dino absolutely adored both her and her beautiful gentle pup. During Dino’s stay, Lois looked after him with so much love, patience and attention, treating him as if he were her own. She also took on an unexpected medication regimen that was only introduced on the very day he went into her care, and handled everything without hesitation or complaint. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She kept us constantly updated with messages, photos and reassurance throughout the week, which made such a difference and allowed us to finally relax knowing Dino was in such safe and caring hands. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and feel incredibly grateful that we found Lois when we did. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate and reliable to care for their pet, and she would absolutely be our first choice again in the future.
