About: I love all kinds of pets & I’m eager to spend some time with dogs! I have experience independently caring for dogs, walking them, training them & giving them plenty of fuss. I am also Canine First Aid trained. Whilst I love pets, I can’t currently commit to one of my own due to my work schedule but I would love to give your pup the love & care I would give my own. I am comfortable with walking dogs on any kind of lead & I am more than happy to keep up with any training your pup might be doing. I’m happy to administer any medications your pet might need but I’m not qualified to give injections. If my calendar looks full, please just drop me a message & I can try & squeeze your pet in :) I currently work part time in retail & I am available Wednesday afternoons & on weekends. I go on a lot of hikes & walks so if you have a particularly active pet that’s happy in the car, I’d love to take them for a day out. I can’t currently keep pets in my own home as I live in a flat. But I am comfortable looking after pets in their own homes & taking them on walks on whatever kind of lead they need.

About: I have a great love for all dogs no matter what. I take great care of any dog like they are my own. I will ensure your dog gets all my attention all day every day I am with them. With how experienced I am with dogs, I can assure you your dogs are safe in my hands and I would do anything to ensure their safety. I've been surrounded by all kinds of dogs since birth. My mum is a dog groomer of 6 years who I have helped over the years. I have currently 4 yorkshire terriers that I have taken care of since they were puppies so I have the experience with senior dogs and puppies. From the age of 16, I have taken care of dogs all different sizes and ages in their homes from 1-2 weeks while the family were away on holiday. I am currently available nearly every day of all summer as I am a full time student at University of Liverpool and staying at home in Leeds over the summer. I currently cannot take pets to my home. However, in my home all my dogs are crate trained and have their own crates we keep them in while we're not home

About: Recently back from volunteering at a dog and cat shelter in Croatia! 🐾 I cared for a wide range of dogs, including senior and injured dogs, large and strong breeds, nervous dogs and very excited puppies. I also cared for kittens from 4 weeks old to old cats, including injured and sick cats. I was also trusted to give medication, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats who need a little extra attention or have specific routines. I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have had a dog of my own since I was 11. I also rescued a cat 3 years ago and it was the best decision ever! I started walking dogs for neighbours when I was 14, giving me years of hands-on experience with dogs of different personalities, sizes and energy levels. I also have experience caring for my own dog who is blind, which has taught me to be particularly attentive and patient with dogs who need extra reassurance or adjustments to their usual routine. I love running and hiking, so although I’ve only lived in Leeds for a few years, I’ve spent a lot of time exploring the area on foot and know plenty of good places for walks. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated while your dog is in my care. Most importantly, I want them to feel safe, comfortable and properly looked after while you’re away 🐕 ❤️ I’m a university student so my availability is around my studies. I’m generally available for walks and drop ins during the day depending on my timetable, as well as evenings and weekends, including overnight stays. I’m an early riser so early morning walks are no problem! I’ll take the time and patience to learn your pets routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and I’m happy to follow any instructions you give me. For walks, I keep dogs on their usual lead and follow your preferences around where they’re walked. I’m also comfortable with large, strong and nervous dogs, thanks to my experience at a dog shelter. For house sitting and drop ins I will treat your home with the same respect I would my own and make sure everything is secure before I leave. I will leave it clean and tidy too. I will keep you updated with messages and photos if you would like that. I don’t currently offer boarding in my own home, as I live in a student house :(

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, I have a real passion for training and nearly chose to do animal behaviour at university! I have experience with rescue/shelter animals that perhaps need a more delicate hand especially in stressful or triggering scenarios where they miss their owners. Growing up I had 2 rescues from the RSPCA who were quite reactive but with time and consistency were able to be off leash and interact well with other dogs. Currently I have two family dogs who I have trained, one is a border collie and the other a whippet but the rewarding nature of training is still the same. Fun party tricks as well as useful habits that are utilised in walks and at home. I’m used to senior dogs and the additional implications of them, my last dog was with us until she was 19! I have a real soft spot for senior dogs. I’m currently in my third year of uni but I only have 3 days a week! I have a four day weekend every week where I can be home! I have a car and am next to Hyde park for walking, but would probably prefer to take them to Roundhay as there is considerably more space and freedom! I have a few housemates who I have lived with for over a year now and who have all agreed, but are similarly animal lovers. I have a large house, there is a front garden area that is fenced but is very small with no grass. The house backs onto burley park and is 1 minute from Hyde park so this would be where I would take a dog throughout the day, before doing longer walks in Roundhay or other further more suitable locations.

About: Whether your dog is a zoomies champion, a professional napper or a bit of a diva, I’m here to give them the best care while you’re away. I’ve got experience with dogs, having grown up with them so know what’s involved in ensuring they are happy and wagging their tails away! I live in a house with a secure garden and close to a local park so they’ll have lots of places to be able to play and explore. I’d love to be able to support you and can promise I’ll give your dog the best care and cuddles while they’re with me! I work from home on Fridays, and I can also offer boarding or care over the weekend. My life is very dog-friendly and your pup would fit right in! I have a secure, fenced garden that your dog can explore and roam in safely as much as they’d like. I’d want to ensure that your dog felt as at-home with me as possible. I have the space in my home to be able to crate your dog if needed, and room for them to have their own cosy space in the home.

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for pets! I’ve always had dogs since I was a child, I have had 2 border terriers and since moving to Leeds I’ve really missed the company of a furry friend! I often care for family and friends’ dogs whilst they are away and would love to make sure your pets are happy whilst you are too!! I have a calm, loving home where your dog will feel at home. Me and my partner live here together, we do not smoke, would be around your pet 24/7, and are both pet lovers! When caring for a pet, my time is dedicated to entertaining and accommodating to them. I’ve lived in Leeds since November and am new to Rover but am more than happy to have a chat, discuss your dogs needs, and meet new dogs (and their owners of course!) I live in a 1 bed apartment with a secure balcony and a large communal green space that is secure and gated. About: I come from a family of working dog breeders and boarders for and have a plethora of experience with many different dog breeds alongside some show cat breeds so I understand not two pets are the same and you can’t assume anything! I have on and off dog and cat sat for friends and known contacts but not professionally on an app such as Rover before! I work full time so youll usually find my availability will be mainly tied to evenings, weekends but sometimes I may be available during the work for the odd day or for short periods around an hour! Making sure your fur-baby is cared for and safe is my top priority. Whenever I attend a visit or your home I will always make sure your pets needs are discussed prior with you. This is so that your pets routine isnt too disrupted more than just meeting a new person because that is stressful enough. When visiting I will always care for your pet as if my own and when visiting or staying at your home, taking the upmost care to not disrupt anything and to let you know if anything happens immediately and what has been done to rectify.

About: I'm an animal lover that loves to spend time with animals, particularly dogs and I've been dog-walking and looking after cats and the like for a few years now. I've walked dogs of all different sizes, personalities and breeds - my personal favourite has been Fred the Bassett Hound as they're known for their stubborn-ness but when they love you, they love big! One of my favourite things to do is to sing and play to them! (I play guitar) They love it every time - especially puppies :) I also have experience assisting with new pet additions to the family, and have helped a number of pups settle into routines and potty training. And I've helped to improve older dogs in their recall where there was very little before! I love walks myself and and enjoy taking doggies to play at local parks to socialise with other friends. And if they're more introverted, they tend to let the other dogs know! I've been fortunate to dog and cat sit all over the world on my travels, including boarding stays in LA, New York, London and now Leeds :) I work from home (except for some Thursdays) and am currently finishing my research Masters also so am very present for quality time. I am mostly a homebody so am around also most evenings where pets are not left alone for lengthy periods. I have pet sit for family/friends before and I currently have two pups of my own, so I can assure you your pets are in good hands. I work part time around my studies but am quite flexible, so have plenty of time to spend walking, petting and playing, or just popping in for a check up and feed! I’m always vigilant when it comes to checking gardens for escape points or ensuring the right doors are properly closed. When walking dogs, two hands on the lead is a must, and I won’t tend to let them off unless instructed otherwise by owners, because at the end of the day you’ll know your pet best!

My first part-time job was at a veterinary practice, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals. About: I’ve had 2 Shih Tzu over my life time which I’ve trained since they were pups,I understand that dogs can often be a important member of the family from experience,I have experienced handling bigger dogs and playing with them but unfortunately until now i have not had the opportunity to have one. I’m currently in education from 9-4 every week day however after 5 I’m more then gladly be available so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dogs! And I'm available for boarding at weekends. I have spaces room for them to chill and eat,don’t have a garden but hopefully able to take them to the park which is down the road💪😁

Ive grown up surrounded with Labradors and often look after my mum’s two, Hope and Bramble, who are both reactive, so I’m used to handling (being a maid) to both of them and their individual needs (it’s okay they make up for it with cuteness) I can’t currently have a dog of my own due to my landlord’s permissions, so I’m looking to get my dog fix by giving yours plenty of walks, cuddles and attention! 💖 I currently work full time during the week as a project manager in the railways, and I am in the last couple months of my degree. I would love to help out other working dog parents on evenings or weekends - you can have the night off and your baby will be safe with me x Whilst I am unable to petsit at my home, I have my own transport so I am happy to homestay at your property when required and provide regular video/call updates as required whilst you are away.
