About: I love all kinds of pets & I’m eager to spend some time with dogs! I have experience independently caring for dogs, walking them, training them & giving them plenty of fuss. Whilst I love pets, I can’t currently commit to one of my own due to my work schedule but I would love to give your pup the love & care I would give my own. I am comfortable with walking dogs on any kind of lead & I am more than happy to keep up with any training your pup might be doing. I’m happy to administer any medications your pet might need but I’m not qualified to give injections. If my calendar looks full, please just drop me a message & I can try & squeeze your pet in :) I currently work part time in retail & I am available Wednesday afternoons & on weekends. I go on a lot of hikes & walks so if you have a particularly active pet that’s happy in the car, I’d love to take them for a day out. I can’t currently keep pets in my own home as I live in a flat. But I am comfortable looking after pets in their own homes & taking them on walks on whatever kind of lead they need.

About: I grew up working on a farm where there were plenty of dogs, horses, sheep and other animals that I cared for. My family home was also full of dogs, cats, chickens, the lot! I even had my own pet sitting/walking business as a teenager. I have been in Leeds the last 8 years and since finally moving to a suitable flat with a big private garden I am now able to help care for other peoples pets. I am home most days of the week and love going out for walks and runs, and just generally spending time outside. I have a 9-5 job but I can work from home at least 3 days a week. I am around most weekends as well and love to get out and about! I have a fenced garden where the back door can be open all day if required! I can crate your dog if needed or just let them roam about. Happy to take them out on lunch breaks and after work too - whatever your dog requires!
About: I have dealt with a puppy and a senior dog when I was young within my family and last year I started to foster dogs through the Dog trust foundation. I have dealt with both small and large dogs and feel comfortable dealing with lively or relaxed dogs. I have a laidback personality what helps when you have to deal with many different quirks of dogs. I had family dogs between age 7-12 and begun fostering dogs last year. I’m a student at Leeds Beckett University who loves animals and especially during the summer I have some time my hands! I know how hard it can be for dogs during this heat especially and would love to help where I can. I can’t currently care for pets in my place as I’m in a student flat but I’m willing to travel to you:) I have enough experience with dogs to know to make sure they are comfortable around myself especially when entering someone else’s home, even if it takes time for them to settle feel okay.
“Artur was fantastic with Zara. He’s calm, reliable, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Communication was excellent throughout, and Zara was relaxed and happy after her drop-in visits and walks. I felt completely confident leaving her in his care.”

About: I have grown up around dogs and have dog sat for extended periods (longest two weeks). I also have experience with all sizes of dogs. I am a full time masters student and therefore my schedule is completely flexible. I have a car so am able to travel further out which allows me to be more adaptable. I believe it is important to get to know your pet before I look after them. I want them to feel safe and calm in my care.
“My dog was in great shape upon my return.I am very happy that I opted for the visit twice a day.I was also impressed with the detailed feedback and pictures.Job well done”

“I had no worries leaving Natasha to pop in and walk / feed my dog. She followed all instructions we gave her and she sent through a very detailed description of the time she spent with him. Would highly recommend.”

About: I have many pets myself, and have been involved in pet care since the age of 4. I currently have 3 cats, 1 dog, and a rabbit. I helped train my beautiful Lab Molly and often look after all the pets by myself when my family is away. This involves walking my dog, letting the dog and cats out for wee breaks, cleaning up dog poo, and feeding them all 2 times a day. And, of course, lots of playtime! I am currently studying at university, but my schedule is spread widely across the week so I have lots of free time each day to look after your pets and play with them as much as they like! I will be spending the majority of my time with them in the afternoons and evenings. I will follow your instructions carefully, keeping inside animals inside, dogs with patchy recall on the lead, and letting those of them allowed outside for regular toilet breaks. I make a point to be incredibly attentive and cautious, keeping anything that could be hazardous well out of reach.
“Natalie came to house sit with my rescue Lurcher Solo who has separation anxiety. She was absolutely brilliant with him, asking all the right questions before our meet to ensure everything was appropriately organised. Natalies communication was great with messages and photos provided. Most importantly she was perfect with Solo, very gentle and understanding, having a cuddle and also playing games with him. Thank you so much and Solo hopes to see you again soon! X”

About: I’m an incredibly attentive and fun loving dog sitter who has looked after dogs for all my life. I am great with all sorts of dogs, but particularly towards anxious dogs as I’ve always owned more sensitive animals. I am reliable, I have sharp time management and communication skills, and will do my upmost to keep your dog happy and relaxed under my care! At the moment I am a student, so I have ample time for your dog and their doggy needs! I can be an early riser or a night owl, whatever is required to keep your dog as comfortable as possible. I have plenty of toys and treats to bring with me to make sure your dog is as entertained as possible! I am also perfectly happy giving a more anxious or elderly baby their well deserved space. I am confident in crating dogs, giving medication and any other needs or routines your dog may require.

About: I have had dogs my entire life along with other animals such as rabbits, cats and guinea pigs and have cared for family&friends pets for as long as I can remember! I have had experience with training, medication administration, walking and overnight stays! While I am new to doing this professionally, I am confident in saying that my personal experience with animal care has helped me to be reliable, caring and knowledgeable of all things pets!💜 I aim to treat your pets as though they are mine and help them to feel calm and cared for when they are with me💜 I am currently working in a restaurant however I aim to make my pet services business my full time job eventually. While I am available most of the time, my shifts at the restaurant tend to fall on 3-4 days a week usually starting no earlier than 4pm and finishing no later than 12.30am but obviously this is not always guaranteed and my hours and days there do vary. I aim to spend my mornings and afternoons dog walking and doing drop-ins and keep my restaurant shifts primarily in the evenings to ensure reliability and consistency for your pups. My rotas tend to be released 2 weeks in advance so we have plenty of time to work your pups around the schedule until I am in a place where I can make this full time!💜 The reason I do not offer boarding from my own home is because I truly believe in keeping your pets comfortable and in a familiar environment so that our time together can be as comfortable for them as possible. I do wish to provide a few meetings before the sit so that your dogs have the opportunity to get to know me and for me to get to know them so that our time together can flow easily and we can enjoy each others company comfortably. Where this isn’t possible, I would like to aim to spend a couple of hours before you leave with you and your pups in your home so that they are not nervous once you leave them in my care💜
About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, which developed my love for them! I live in a specious house next to a park, perfect for walks and pee breaks during the day. What sets me apart from other pet sitters, beyond my love for dogs, is my care and attention. I make sure your fluffy companion feels safe, cherished, and fulfilled all day! I can offer flexible availability and ensure that your dog receives all the attention and care it deserves, as I stay at home when working remotely. I live in a spacious house with no other animals or kids, allowing me to dedicate all my attention to your dog. I'm less than a minute away from a large park in centre Leeds, perfect for bathroom breaks or long walks. My neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, with outside space ideal for regular strolls and outdoor activities.
About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including rescue dogs with unique needs. Over the years, I've worked with everything from tiny, energetic terriers to large, strong breeds, and I understand how to tailor care to suit each dog’s personality and comfort level. I have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs—I have my own, a 5-year-old black Labrador, who’s taught me so much about patience, trust, and the deep bond that forms with compassionate care. Whether it’s a shy rescue or a playful pup, I’m dedicated to making every dog feel safe, loved, and well looked after. I currently do varying shift patterns so I have plenty of time to play and walk your pet throughout the week and weekends! I’ll be keeping my daily availability updated each day. When caring for a pet in their home, I prioritise creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment to help both the pet and owner feel at ease. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine closely—whether that’s feeding times, walks, or bedtime habits—to maintain consistency and comfort. I’m respectful of the home, keeping everything clean and secure, and I’m happy to provide regular updates, including photos and messages, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. Building trust is key, and I treat each home and pet as if they were my own—with kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care.

“I needed some help with my girls very last minute and Isabella stepped in. She was brilliant, she was super communicative, did everything I asked for my girls and sent lots of pictures. I will absolutely book Isabella again.”

About: Hi Everyone, I’m Sophie! Me and my family adopted my dog Ellie all the way back in 2013 from a rescue shelter in Greece and she will be turning 13 next June, as well as this over the years I have taken care of family friends pets for example taking them for walks and staying overnight in the house or even just popping in to make sure that they’re okay, although still being young at 21 years old, i’ve been surrounded by dogs by entire life, I used to attend puppy classes when Ellie was younger, helping train her up with recall and general behaviour, as well as this i would consider myself knowledgeable in the emotional side of dogs, if they’re feeling down or anxious I have taught myself by experience and research how I can help, I am currently in the process of looking into completing a level 2 qualification linked to dogs needs I love to have fun on walks, going to see new places with your pooch, playing fetch with there ball or even just enjoying a brisk stroll :) I am a university student however I am only in university 2 to 3 days a week being off Mondays and Tuesdays and having availability all weekend but even in the days that I am there I am free morning times and most days apart from that available after 3 pm However for plans such as check ins for your pet I am available any day of the week to do that in the mornings, please just let me know what your arrangements are and i can work around them For overnight care, I am also available any day of the week, my only thing to note is that a few days a week I would have to leave your residence early after the following day for university, This would only be on Thursdays and Fridays, so if that’s the case it may be important to see if somebody else can pop in for them in that time gap which is normally around 12-3 pm But the rest of the days, and also holidays such as easter, I would be able to stay as long as required Your dog is my first priority! When taking care of pets in their owners home i’d like to make sure that it feels just like their owner never left, by knowing the dogs needs and what they require as I know a lot of dogs can get very anxious when their owners are away, if they feel comfortable sleeping on the bed with me then I’m perfectly happy for that and any specific place that they would want to go outside of the house. I’m happy to attend to. Before agreeing to pet sitting I am happy to come over and view the house to make sure you think id be a good fit for your dog and that they feel comfortable being in the house with me, I think its important to make sure that we bond well together to put your mind at ease

About: Whether your dog is a zoomies champion, a professional napper or a bit of a diva, I’m here to give them the best care while you’re away. I’ve got experience with dogs, having grown up with them so know what’s involved in ensuring they are happy and wagging their tails away! I live in a house with a secure garden and close to a local park so they’ll have lots of places to be able to play and explore. I’d love to be able to support you and can promise I’ll give your dog the best care and cuddles while they’re with me! I work from home on Fridays, and I can also offer boarding or care over the weekend. My life is very dog-friendly and your pup would fit right in! I have a secure, fenced garden that your dog can explore and roam in safely as much as they’d like. I’d want to ensure that your dog felt as at-home with me as possible. I have the space in my home to be able to crate your dog if needed, and room for them to have their own cosy space in the home.

About: I have cats myself, as well as regularly feeding and caring for friends and neighbours cats. I love caring for cats and their different personalities and quirks. As well as being a cat person, I also love dogs! I have cared for dogs of all sizes, including overnight. I’m available to house sit on weekends and to do drop in visits during the week. Caring for your pet will be my priority. I will treat your pets as I’d treat my own, which is what I’d always want in a pet sitter. I am happy to administer medication if needed (I have experience with this due to my own elderly cats), and I will always put the safety of your pets first.
About: Hey I'm Jack 😀 I'd love to be the person you trust with your pride and joy! Throughout my years at the family home, I've always had great fun caring for, playing with and lounging around with the family dog and I've absolutely treasured my time with those beauts! We've had predominantly small and medium dogs like Jack Russells and Cavapoos. Genuinely love walking and feels wrong to do it without a dog, so happy to bring yours along on a Saturday or Sunday morning! As I'm now living away from family, having a dog to look after for a few days would bring me tremendous satisfaction and it would be a pleasure to feed, care for and walk your dog. I know from experience that each dog is its own unique character, charm and needs so I find it's important to make sure I know your pride and joy well so I can give them the right care and attention! I live in a flat in the City Centre with access to outdoor green space & the canal, right next to the flat Im at home on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays so I'll be around the dog to feed, tend to any dog. I'll be around for 90% of the day. I'll pop out to go to the shops and to go to the gym but Im not away for an hour. Every dog has its own needs but in general, the way i treat my family dogs is I would walk the dogs twice a day: morning and afternoon, plus feed them twice a day alongside there walk(happy to give treats and/or adapt mealtime schedule). I'd take them out round the back to ensure they get chance to do there business during the day: Once when they wake up, on walks, one midday and one before bedtime.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Leeds
Jess did a drop in for our boy and could not recommend her more! Simba is reactive and can be slightly nervous around new people but Jess was brilliant with him, kept me fully up to date and he seemed very chilled and happy with her, we’ll definitely be booking again!

Lindsay is amazing, my girls are hard work and the little one is fully in the juvenile stage of growing up, teething, testing boundaries and loads of energy. Lindsay has taken it totally in her stride, been very warm and super communicative. She’s brilliant

Lizzie was great with Maple. She came over for a visit beforehand to make sure that everyone was happy. She asked lots of questions to make sure that she could give the best possible care. On the day I had lots of updates to say she was on the way to the house, during the visit, and afterwards. I was really happy with how things went. Thank you!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
