“This was my first time using Rover, and Hattie and her partner, Josh, made me feel completely at ease leaving Ronnie with them and their gorgeous pups, Juan & Bobby! Hattie sent lots of lovely photos and message updates throughout the day, which reassured me that he was in very responsible hands🥰 he was a very happy boy when picked up, and had clearly enjoyed his day - I will definitely be booking again! Highly recommend Xx”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a Pet First Aid & CPR trained pet sitter with 7 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. As a doctor, I bring a calm, attentive, and safety-focused approach to every pet in my care. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My home is quiet, clean, pet-free, and child-free, providing a peaceful environment for cats and suitable dogs. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual schedule, medications, feeding routine, and any special care instructions. I work from home most days, which means your cat or dog will receive plenty of company, supervision, and attentive care. Whether I’m boarding your cat, house sitting, stopping by for drop-in visits, or taking your dog for a walk, I tailor my care to their individual routine and needs. For boarding, I only welcome one household at a time, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. I know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your cat or dog in someone else’s care. As a doctor and Pet First Aid & CPR certified sitter, I provide attentive, safe, and compassionate care. Whether I’m caring for your companion in my home or yours, I carefully follow feeding routines, medications, exercise requirements, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure. My home is quiet, clean, pet-free, and child-free, providing a peaceful environment for boarding cats.
“Julie was amazing with my puppy Luna, and I could clearly see that Luna was having such a lovely time whilst boarding! Julie walked her loads, gave her loads of attention and looked after her so well. She sent me plenty of pictures and updates too which was so nice. Will definitely look to Julie again for future sitting. Thank you!”

“My mini Schnauzer, Reggie, loved his day with Fredy and Christian. He came home tired and happy thanks to the walks and spending time with their lovely dog. I was happy with the photos they sent me and the updates. They're wonderful and I hope Reg can spend another day with them soon.”

“Rachel is really sweet and friendly and was super understanding about Vera’s needs and requirements! She was kind and kept us updated with photos! Would 100% use again. Vera was very comfortable being around Rachel.”

“Grace and Sam have looked after Norman for the last two days and it’s safe to say he has loved every second! Grace was so reassuring and sent lots of photos and updates. They both clearly love dogs and we are so pleased we have found them, Norman is already booked in for next month! Would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you both so much!”

“Hannah and their flatmate were amazing looking after my Dachshund pup! He’s very nervous around new people so I was a bit worried, but he settled in quickly and had a great time! Highly recommend :)”

“Following a recommendation from a friend and a couple of messages to Laura i was happy that our dog would be well looked after, this was even more the case after dropping her off. We received photos and updates throughout so we could see all was good. When collecting our dog you could see that she was happy and would have happily gone back in. Laura was very understanding & accommodating to our dogs needs.”

“Thomas is an excellent sitter! He ensures he knows your pets routines, takes the dogs on great walks and sends the most amazing pictures! Maverick always has the best time when he stays with Thomas both for daycare and overnight. Do not hesitate to book!! Thanks Thomas! 🐶”

About: I grew up with a Sheltie and a mixed-breed dog, and through years of living closely with them, I developed a deep understanding of animals' emotional and physical needs. This lifelong bond has shaped the way I care for every pet, treating them with the same love and attention I would give my own. In addition to my own dogs, I've cared for many breeds including Dobermans, Corgis, Poodles, Huskies, and Border Collies, as well as cats. I always aim to create a safe, happy, and loving environment for each pet while their owners are away. Your pets are in experienced, caring hands! I work from home and am available to provide dedicated pet care. Your pets will receive my full attention, with flexible scheduling for walks, visits, and cuddles! There would be no other pets in the my accommodation, ensuring a peaceful environment and avoiding any potential pet conflicts. When staying with pets, I make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe - I aim to provide same love and care to your pets as you provided for them. I will stick to their usual routines, from feeding times to favourite toys and sleeping spots. I will also ensure they get plenty of attention, exercise if needed, and, of course, affection, just as if they were my own.
About: I have been caring for the pets for some time now and very much enjoy it. Initially I was caring for pets of family and friends, this grew through word of mouth and eventually I joined rover to do this more regularly. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and building a bond with them. My flexible working‑from‑home role means I’m always there for pets during the day, they are not left alone and get plenty of attention, company and reassurance. I live with my partner who is also work from home meaning pets get twice as much fuss. I have always grown up with dogs, which gave me a solid foundation in everyday dog care. I particularly enjoy training pets and reinforcing good habits, and I’ve had some really positive success stories through patient, consistent training. I’m always happy to follow the routines and cues that owners already use. I’m a lover of walking and being outdoors, and caring for pets is a perfect fit for this — it gives me even more reason to get outside for regular, enjoyable walks while making sure pets are exercised, stimulated and happy. I work from home and have very flexible working hours so am usually very able to adapt to what pets and their owners need. I am able to have pets at my home or visit your home. I usually walk pets in the morning on my lunch and/or after work. I realise the importance of trust when caring for pets whether in my home or in your home. My home is well set up for dogs and I have a small garden and live right by a park and a lovely trail that is perfect for dog walks.
“Justyna's house (including large garden), other dogs and passion for animals is second to none for looking after our Bertie! Bertie can't wait to come back again for his longer stay this Friday :) Thank you Justyna!”

“Ralph had a lovely day with Deirdre and Liam. They made him feel welcome in their home. Deirdre was very responsive giving us plenty of updates and photos throughout the day. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have experience with different breeds of dog after sitting/boarding for friends and family as well as on here. I live with my fiancé who is also able to help and we live in a pet friendly apartment complex in the city centre. We also have a 2.5 year old mini sausage dog (male) who is super gentle and a great playmate, therefore have lots of toys and comfy beds for the pooches to sleep in. He can be a bit wary at first so it would be great to do a meet&greet first! We would of course look after yours as well as we would our own. We usually take our sausage on a short walk first thing, again after lunchtime and before dinner but happy to adjust to any specific needs. We can provide attention and cuddles, walks and toilet breaks as long and often as the pooch needs, can also provide many toys and stimulation for them.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Leeds
Our boy is reactive and not good with other dogs. Tom ensured he was kept away from other dogs and sent us a beautiful picture of our boy looking relaxed. He made Milo comfortable and we know he treated him like his own. We have used Tom previously and never have to worry about Milo whilst we are away. Thank you

Arlo has such a wonderful time when he stays with Abigail and Tiny. They both treat him like royalty and Tiny is fast becoming one of his very best friends. Abigail has twice looked after him in very hot weather, he is a moderately high energy dog and can be frustrated when he can't go out to play, but she and Tiny kept him happy and entertained indoors. I would happily recommend Abigail to other owners.

Lindsey was absolutely fantastic with our Gonzalez! She kept us updated and understood Gonzalez' needs and temperament right from the start which really put our minds at ease. She's an extremely experienced dog sitter and Gonzalez loves going to stay with her and Buster - highly recommend to anyone!

Adelita was great with my dog Sheroo, he enjoyed his day with her and had no issues when we left. Adelita is very calm and obviously loves dogs and she is super caring and kind in her approach. Very professional and reliable, will definitely use her again, thanks so much.

Thomas was really great with Gonzalez despite his anxious/reactive nature being a rescue. He took the time to understand Gonzalez and was extremely patient with him! He kept me updated and Gonzalez will definitely be back for some more chilled doggy daycare.

Thomas was really great with Gonzalez - despite him being a rescue and reactive in nature in new environments/with new people, he put us at ease with his confidence, natural ease and kept us updated with photos as well as him giving him space whilst he got used to his new doggy daycare environment! Highly recommend

- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
