About: I grew up with a Sheltie and a mixed-breed dog, and through years of living closely with them, I developed a deep understanding of animals' emotional and physical needs. This lifelong bond has shaped the way I care for every pet, treating them with the same love and attention I would give my own. In addition to my own dogs, I've cared for many breeds including Dobermans, Corgis, Poodles, Huskies, and Border Collies, as well as cats. I always aim to create a safe, happy, and loving environment for each pet while their owners are away. Your pets are in experienced, caring hands! I work from home and am available to provide dedicated pet care. Your pets will receive my full attention, with flexible scheduling for walks, visits, and cuddles! There would be no other pets in the my accommodation, ensuring a peaceful environment and avoiding any potential pet conflicts. When staying with pets, I make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe - I aim to provide same love and care to your pets as you provided for them. I will stick to their usual routines, from feeding times to favourite toys and sleeping spots. I will also ensure they get plenty of attention, exercise if needed, and, of course, affection, just as if they were my own.
“Grace and Sam have looked after Norman for the last two days and it’s safe to say he has loved every second! Grace was so reassuring and sent lots of photos and updates. They both clearly love dogs and we are so pleased we have found them, Norman is already booked in for next month! Would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you both so much!”

“Thank you so much for looking after reggie. He was well looked after by Kyle. We recieved updates on how he was getting on. Great communication and would definitely use again! Thank you!”
“Julie was amazing with my puppy Luna, and I could clearly see that Luna was having such a lovely time whilst boarding! Julie walked her loads, gave her loads of attention and looked after her so well. She sent me plenty of pictures and updates too which was so nice. Will definitely look to Julie again for future sitting. Thank you!”

“This was my first time having a pet sitter no less it having to be just 4 days after I got my pup! I was so anxious to be handing over my precious girl but she could not have been in safer hands. With constant communications and the most amazing photos of her, my mind was truly put at ease. I cannot recommend this couple enough. They were unbelievable kind and patient with myself, my partner and my pup. If I could give the 10 stars I would! ❤️❤️”

“Hattie has been amazing! This was the first time I’d ever used daycare for my dog Stan so I was a bit nervous and Hattie really helped put my mind at ease from the start. Hattie is flexible, responsive, experienced and sends lots of photos and updates during the day, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, Stan loves it and was clearly happy to go back! We're really glad we found her 🐶”

“I was a little apprehensive leaving my 15 week old pup as I’m a first time dog owner and I’ve never done anything like this before. I’ve also found some of the responses on here a little flakey from some so it was a refreshing change to have Justyn answer texts and be great with communication and really reassuring. We did a meet and great and Theo really took to her. I left Theo with Justyna for a full day whilst I was at work and she kept me updated regularly with photos and videos. He has had a very busy day socialising with her dogs and going for walks. He has come home and gone straight to bed. He is a very content pup. Justyna is lovely and she is great with animals and I really felt my gorgeous boy Theo was in safe hands! Thank you Justyna for being the perfect person to look after Theodore!”

“Sprout had the best day with Laura and her Whippet! She even let Laura give her belly rubs which she only does when she’s super comfortable. I was really happy with the amount of updates and photos. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Adelita was great with my dog Sheroo, he enjoyed his day with her and had no issues when we left. Adelita is very calm and obviously loves dogs and she is super caring and kind in her approach. Very professional and reliable, will definitely use her again, thanks so much.”

“Rachel is really sweet and friendly and was super understanding about Vera’s needs and requirements! She was kind and kept us updated with photos! Would 100% use again. Vera was very comfortable being around Rachel.”

“First visit. Thomas has a quiet, calm manner which suits my dog, Freddie. He took him to Roundhay Park where Freddie walked happily. Freddie spent the afternoon snoozing and when I picked him up, he was pleased to see me but had apparently been settled and content with Thomas.”

“Right from the start, I knew Hugo would be well looked after by Dawn and her family. She made us both feel welcome and instantly relaxed. She sent lots of photos and videos and kept me updated on Hugo’s day. He’s a big dog with lots of energy but Dawn embraced this, walked and played with him and let him rest when he needed it. You can see how much Dawn genuinely loves dogs and always talks about the other dogs she looks after by name which shows that this is a passion for Dawn and not just a job. I will absolutely be booking Dawn again”

“Rachel is amazing, would highly recommend! Very calm and patient when introducing the dogs and happy to work around them. Felt completely at ease leaving Toby and he was well taken care of. He clearly had fun as he is now snoring his head off! 😂”

“I was nervous leaving my dog with a stranger but I would highly recommend Arthur he treated the dog with love and care gave her all the attention tha she needed and care she needed I would highly recommend him to other very reliable and also I will be using him again in the future great with loulou and I’m 100% happy”

“Hannah and their flatmate were amazing looking after my Dachshund pup! He’s very nervous around new people so I was a bit worried, but he settled in quickly and had a great time! Highly recommend :)”

“Adina kept contact and sent photos and feedback to how Nala was getting on. Nala seemed happy when I got back from work and I could tell that she was well looked after. Will use them again and recommend their service to other pet owners.”

Elie is an exceptional sitter. She was amazing with our dog. He's generally an anxious dog but it was obvious how calm and comfortable he was with her. She's genuinely caring and compassionate and gave him a lot of love and attention. Her home also provides a calm, safe environment. She also kept us regulary updated with photos. As a person, she's very mild-mannered and kind. We highly recommend Elie with no hesitation. 10/10 Thank you Elie!

Bethany was absolutely wonderful taking care of Charlie yesterday. It was so clear from the start how caring, attentive, and thoughtful she was with her. Charlie absolutely loved her and was so comfortable with Bethany that she didn’t even want to leave! We really appreciated the photos and updates throughout the day. Seeing Charlie enjoying her walk and looking so happy and relaxed was incredibly reassuring. She even ate her food, which is quite a rare occasion for Charlie when staying with someone new, so that really showed us how comfortable and settled she was. Knowing that Charlie was so happy and well taken care of gave us complete peace of mind. Thank you so much, Bethany, for taking such great care of our girl and making her feel so comfortable. We would be more than happy for Charlie to stay with you again in the future!

Truly grateful for Grace and Sam! This was the first time Enzo was left with someone other than myself or my family and he was so well taken cared of. Grace was kind enough to meet with us the night before so that Enzo and I can feel reassured. She communicated really well, kept me updated throughout the day. Enzo had such a fun time! We will definitely come back and we highly recommend Grace. Thank you again so much!!

Our boy is reactive and not good with other dogs. Tom ensured he was kept away from other dogs and sent us a beautiful picture of our boy looking relaxed. He made Milo comfortable and we know he treated him like his own. We have used Tom previously and never have to worry about Milo whilst we are away. Thank you

Arlo has such a wonderful time when he stays with Abigail and Tiny. They both treat him like royalty and Tiny is fast becoming one of his very best friends. Abigail has twice looked after him in very hot weather, he is a moderately high energy dog and can be frustrated when he can't go out to play, but she and Tiny kept him happy and entertained indoors. I would happily recommend Abigail to other owners.

Lindsey was absolutely fantastic with our Gonzalez! She kept us updated and understood Gonzalez' needs and temperament right from the start which really put our minds at ease. She's an extremely experienced dog sitter and Gonzalez loves going to stay with her and Buster - highly recommend to anyone!

Adelita was great with my dog Sheroo, he enjoyed his day with her and had no issues when we left. Adelita is very calm and obviously loves dogs and she is super caring and kind in her approach. Very professional and reliable, will definitely use her again, thanks so much.

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
