About: Hi. I’m a professional, qualified actuary based here in Leeds city centre. I have experience dog sitting for a range of dogs (including senior citizens). I’m hoping to build relationships with a few local dogs (and their owners!) for sitting and walking services. I’m located close to Leeds train station and typically head along the canals for walks. I work full time although my work is flexible with when and where I work meaning I can typically adapt my schedule to your needs. I’m very patient and I have cared for nervous dogs in the past so I’m used to quickly building trust with them. I enjoy walks around Leeds city centre or further afield in Yorkshire on the weekend. About: Recently back from volunteering at a dog and cat shelter in Croatia! 🐾 I cared for a wide range of dogs, including senior and injured dogs, large and strong breeds, nervous dogs and very excited puppies. I also cared for kittens from 4 weeks old to old cats, including injured and sick cats. I was also trusted to give medication, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats who need a little extra attention or have specific routines. I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have had a dog of my own since I was 11. I also rescued a cat 3 years ago and it was the best decision ever! I started walking dogs for neighbours when I was 14, giving me years of hands-on experience with dogs of different personalities, sizes and energy levels. I also have experience caring for my own dog who is blind, which has taught me to be particularly attentive and patient with dogs who need extra reassurance or adjustments to their usual routine. I love running and hiking, so although I’ve only lived in Leeds for a few years, I’ve spent a lot of time exploring the area on foot and know plenty of good places for walks. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated while your dog is in my care. Most importantly, I want them to feel safe, comfortable and properly looked after while you’re away 🐕 ❤️ I’m a university student so my availability is around my studies. I’m generally available for walks and drop ins during the day depending on my timetable, as well as evenings and weekends, including overnight stays. I’m an early riser so early morning walks are no problem! I’ll take the time and patience to learn your pets routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and I’m happy to follow any instructions you give me. For walks, I keep dogs on their usual lead and follow your preferences around where they’re walked. I’m also comfortable with large, strong and nervous dogs, thanks to my experience at a dog shelter. For house sitting and drop ins I will treat your home with the same respect I would my own and make sure everything is secure before I leave. I will leave it clean and tidy too. I will keep you updated with messages and photos if you would like that. I don’t currently offer boarding in my own home, as I live in a student house :(

We used Becca recently for the first time to look after our two cats during a ten day holiday. Olivia was amazing from the get go. She took the time to come over before to meet myself and Squid which was really nice. Squid wasn’t well socialised as a kitten so can be abit standoffish with strangers, but Olivia was patient and took the time to interact with her on her own terms, making her feel comfortable and safe. We really appreciated the daily picture updates and can’t thank Olivia enough for caring for her while we were away. I would happily have her care for Squid again.
We had Abbie look after Jasper for 4 visits. She came to meet him beforehand and was very professional, taking notes to make sure she didn’t forget anything. She gave Jasper very thorough report cards and the cutest photos. Would deffo book Abbie again in the future.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
