About: I’ve owned dogs since I was a child. We currently have a two year old extremely friendly cockerpoo who loves other dogs. My flat has a large balcony and access to a private garden area. I have over 10k steps per day with our pup! I work from home so the first dog walk is at 7am to get a coffee and walk for 45 minutes. Dogs can access my large balcony if they need the loo. I take a lunchtime walk with a longer evening walk. I have a friendly cockerpoo who loves other dogs. Pets have access to the entire house if they need space to have some time alone or snooze.

“We were really happy with the care Cleo received. She was well looked after, and the updates gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We’d be very happy to book Armish again.”

“Cody is absolutely lovely. She came to the house for a meet and greet prior to looking after my cat. She kept me up to date every day, took pictures and did her best to spend time with Penny however she was a little too shy. I would 100% book Cody again.”

“Thomas is amazing with our puppy. He always follows our instructions and will check in if anything is unclear. From his updates our puppy looks like he is having the best time! Thank you Thomas ❤️”

“Had to ask Artur for really last minute help and he was so accommodating. Always happy with the care he gives my girls. Gives really detailed updates which I really appreciate.”

About: Hi Everyone, I’m Sophie! Me and my family adopted my dog Ellie all the way back in 2013 from a rescue shelter in Greece and she will be turning 13 next June, as well as this over the years I have taken care of family friends pets for example taking them for walks and staying overnight in the house or even just popping in to make sure that they’re okay, although still being young at 21 years old, i’ve been surrounded by dogs by entire life, I used to attend puppy classes when Ellie was younger, helping train her up with recall and general behaviour, as well as this i would consider myself knowledgeable in the emotional side of dogs, if they’re feeling down or anxious I have taught myself by experience and research how I can help, I am currently in the process of looking into completing a level 2 qualification linked to dogs needs I love to have fun on walks, going to see new places with your pooch, playing fetch with there ball or even just enjoying a brisk stroll :) I am a university student however I am only in university 2 to 3 days a week being off Mondays and Tuesdays and having availability all weekend but even in the days that I am there I am free morning times and most days apart from that available after 3 pm However for plans such as check ins for your pet I am available any day of the week to do that in the mornings, please just let me know what your arrangements are and i can work around them For overnight care, I am also available any day of the week, my only thing to note is that a few days a week I would have to leave your residence early after the following day for university, This would only be on Thursdays and Fridays, so if that’s the case it may be important to see if somebody else can pop in for them in that time gap which is normally around 12-3 pm But the rest of the days, and also holidays such as easter, I would be able to stay as long as required Your dog is my first priority! When taking care of pets in their owners home i’d like to make sure that it feels just like their owner never left, by knowing the dogs needs and what they require as I know a lot of dogs can get very anxious when their owners are away, if they feel comfortable sleeping on the bed with me then I’m perfectly happy for that and any specific place that they would want to go outside of the house. I’m happy to attend to. Before agreeing to pet sitting I am happy to come over and view the house to make sure you think id be a good fit for your dog and that they feel comfortable being in the house with me, I think its important to make sure that we bond well together to put your mind at ease
About: I’ve had had dogs all my life, (all breed sizes). I used to take care of my friends dogs and cats when they were on holidays since I can remember. I even volunteered to pet sit a neighbor’s dog when I was 5, (I basically forced him to lend me his dog because I used to love him and I didn’t have one). My last dog was a golden retriever, I have experience with her arthritis and I did massages and therapy for her. I have taken care of multiple dogs at a time and I don't mind sharing the bed or letting them sleep wherever they need. I have a park next to my house and I live in a convenient distance to the bus and train station in case you are looking to drop them on your way there. I can fit my schedule around any need, if they are more comfortable indoor I can also make activities with treats or frozen foods to stimulate them. Depending on your needs. I am fllexible with long walks, or multiple short walks. I can prepare activities and games for them to stay active inside as well, like frozen fruit or hiding treats around the house. I can brush their hair and teeth. Anything that you may need to pamper them and have an easy time while being away from you. I am not an official trainer but I've trained my own dogs always for potty and the casual paw and sit tricks. I am also available for phone calls 24/7.
“Izzy was fantastic looking after Loki. Giving regular updates and photos and giving him extra attention when he was feeling a little poorly one day. Would highly recommend!”

About: Eager to get some more reviews, as I’ve just started on the app. I’ve had dogs for the past 13 years. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs both in the UK and abroad. I love dog training and research it in my free time - so I’m willing to train your dog to be better on the leash or to do tricks if you’d like. Happy to do meet and greets! Excited to meet your pets! I have a flexible university schedule and would love some time to unwind spent with animals! I usually have a day off of uni as well as a free weekend but am happy to commute from further out of Leeds for my studies if my care involves a longer stay. I am happy to either check in on/stay full time at your house to look after your pets. I want to tailor my care to what each pet needs so everyone can have the best experience!
“This was my first time hiring a pet sitter and the whole experience could have been smoother. Katrina gave us peace of mind and constant communication. Our cats, who do not like strangers a lot, warmed up to her pretty quickly. When we came home they were relaxed and obviously well cared for. Thank you katrina - will definitely seek your service again”

About: Hi. I’m a professional, qualified actuary based here in Leeds city centre. I have experience dog sitting for a range of dogs (including senior citizens). I’m hoping to build relationships with a few local dogs (and their owners!) for sitting and walking services. I’m located close to Leeds train station and typically head along the canals for walks. I work full time although my work is flexible with when and where I work meaning I can typically adapt my schedule to your needs. I’m very patient and I have cared for nervous dogs in the past so I’m used to quickly building trust with them. I enjoy walks around Leeds city centre or further afield in Yorkshire on the weekend. I live with my partner who is equally caring and loving of dogs.
“Pooja took excellent care of my cat Toby on my extended holiday! She provided him with all the love and attention he needed while also maintaining his food, litter boxes, and my apartment in my absence. Her constant updates and pictures put my mind at ease while away from little friend. She went above and beyond with her attention to detail and even provided some dietary recommendations which have had immediate and long lasting results. I highly recommend her to anyone needing pet care.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals, having both a cat and a dog of my own, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. Since living in Leeds, I’ve regularly walked dogs for clients, including Kevin and Macey, building trusted relationships with both the dogs and their owners. I also have plenty of experience with cats. I lived with my housemate’s cat, Truffle, who I frequently looked after, and I’ve cat-sat Cora and Leo while their owners were away. Over the summer and holiday periods, I regularly pet sit for friends and clients when they travel, so I’m comfortable taking responsibility for pets for longer periods as well as shorter visits and walks. I’m confident with feeding, walking, playtime, companionship and following each pet’s individual routine. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know their different personalities. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I’m always happy to send plenty of photos and updates while owners are away! 🐾 Pet care fits really well into my routine and I have plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting throughout the week. I’m also available during weekends, lunchtime and holiday periods. I love being outdoors, so dog walks are something I genuinely enjoy rather than just a job! I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual routine and can discuss timings with owners depending on what they need. I understand how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s care. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication or any individual needs. I’m respectful of people’s homes and make sure pets are safe, comfortable and given plenty of attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾
“Justyna was amazing with our dog, very professional and easy going. She was able to accommodate a last minute booking from us and everything went so smoothly. Will definitely be booking in with her again! Thanks so much Justyna.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Leeds
Tamsin was absolutely wonderful with Nova while we were away. She sent us detailed updates after every visit, complete with photos, so we never had to worry. Nova was clearly comfortable with her from the very first visit and became more affectionate over time, even napping right next to her. We previously used a cattery and the difference was night and day. Couldn’t recommend Tamsin more. We’ll definitely be rebooking!

Abbie was absolutely fantastic looking after my cat, Rico, while I was away on holiday. She was friendly, reliable and clearly really cares about animals, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Rico was very happy and well looked after, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I’d definitely recommend Abbie to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets, and I’ll absolutely be asking her to look after Rico again. Thank you, Abbie!

ARMISH was brilliant with Sultan. She was very warm and welcoming and allowed Sultan to get comfortable with her and took really good care of him. Sultan was poorly and she gave him medication and even gave recommendations and advice on how to prevent his stomach upset. She is a lovely, kind and warming person and I will definitely be booking her again in the future. You can trust your cat/s with her as she is very loving and nurturing towards them. Thank you again ARMISH highly recommend you! 🙂
Freya has been just wonderful, super friendly and accommodating, but also a great friend to our handsome boyo. He's never been left alone for more than half a day-ish but Freya helped to put us at ease over leaving him and also keep him happy, entertained, and thoroughly looked-after in our absence. The daily reports were comprehensive and Freya was lightning-fast to communicate whenever we had additional questions or requests. We will absolutely be back and honestly couldn't have hoped for better!

I’ve used Keyleigh a few times now to look after my Belgian Malinois puppy, Poppy, and she is amazing. She has been so kind, reliable, and it has been such a relief knowing our dog is in safe hands while we’re not there. They have been so kind, reliable and patient, and it has been such a relief knowing our dog is in safe hands while we’re not there. Our dog can be a little anxious and is still building confidence with being away from us and around other dogs, but they have been incredibly understanding and have taken the time to work with her at her own pace. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the animals they look after, rather than simply seeing it as a job. Communication has always been great, and I really appreciate the updates and reassurance we receive. Knowing Poppy is happy, well cared for and getting plenty of attention makes such a difference. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and dependable to look after their dog.

Thank you Kirsty, a slightly different request, but its very reassuring to leave my Tortoise in safe hands. All duties done as requested and loads of updates and communication as this was the first time I'd used this service and was a little unsure how it all works.

Zainab is an excellent sitter! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services. She is a really lovely person, chatty and friendly with a natural affinity towards animals. Zainab looked after my 2 cats while we were away for 9 nights and gave great info on the visit feedback and photos too so we knew our pets were in safe hands. She left our house exactly as she found it and we would definitely rebook her in the future. A gem of a sitter 💎

Yan was fantastic, she really cared for my cat Leo, recently he had a heart complication and she made sure he took his medication and kept a clean environment for him, she sent me daily photos which showed him at his happiest and relaxed, even showed a great deal of care towards him, she even wrote a note each day about how he was behaving and feeling. We were gone for two weeks and I’m happy I chose her to look after him in that time. Will book her again the next time we’re away! 😁👌

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
