About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and trustworthy, retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my shared boxer-cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.

About: I have always had cats growing up. I currently have my own called Milo who is a very loving clingy cat. I have done dog sitting for family members while they are on holiday. I have a lot of experience with both cats and dogs. This is my full time job so I am available anytime and anyday. I will respond to you within the hour and answer any questions you may have. I have a cat bed in my bedroom for my cat Milo and loads of cat toys that he loves! I have a cat flap on my front door so he can go in and out as he pleases.

About: I have owned 5 cats, 1 dog, 6 hamsters, 2 guinea pigs and a rabbit in my life. Regularly taken friends and neighbours dogs for walks, had a French bulldog with us for a week, and a German shepard puppy for a fortnight! Due to all my own animals I can't now take other pets into my home but can certainly stay at yours. Will happily bath & walk dogs. Currently own 3 cats & a Belgian Malinois who have everything they could wish for! Happy to pop in and feed/stroke cats, small animals etc. I'm currently working part-time for a charity so WFH Tues - Fri 9am-6pm. I also volunteer with children on a Tuesday evening from 5pm (term time) but I'm generally free Saturday - Mondays. I only had to cancel a sitting due a few days later in Nov 23 as I was hospitalised in a catastrophic emergency. I will feed and top up water for pets, change litter trays or clean out small animal cages/hutches and walk and collect poop for dogs. Will stay and play with animals and give love and strokes. Happy to sleep over and share a bed with pets as im used to 3 cats with me on a night or napping on the sofa with my giant dog.

About: I love all kinds of pets & I’m eager to spend some time with dogs! I have experience independently caring for dogs, walking them, training them & giving them plenty of fuss. I am also Canine First Aid trained. Whilst I love pets, I can’t currently commit to one of my own due to my work schedule but I would love to give your pup the love & care I would give my own. I am comfortable with walking dogs on any kind of lead & I am more than happy to keep up with any training your pup might be doing. I’m happy to administer any medications your pet might need but I’m not qualified to give injections. If my calendar looks full, please just drop me a message & I can try & squeeze your pet in :) I currently work part time in retail & I am available Wednesday afternoons & on weekends. I go on a lot of hikes & walks so if you have a particularly active pet that’s happy in the car, I’d love to take them for a day out. I can’t currently keep pets in my own home as I live in a flat. But I am comfortable looking after pets in their own homes & taking them on walks on whatever kind of lead they need.

About: If your dog could choose their own sitter, they’d probably pick someone who gives great walks, plenty of attention, and the occasional extra fuss — which is exactly what I do 🐾 I specialise in high energy dogs, with my puppy being young I know exactly how to tire her out, not even just walks! We do loads of fun activities to get the brain working! I’ve looked after many high energy dogs. I have also administered medication for dogs. I’m fully DBS checked and have a certified qualification in pet sitting and dog walking, so you can feel confident they’re being properly cared for. I also have my own dog, Winnie 🐶, who’s friendly and used to being around other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in companion if they enjoy company. About: I have been on rover since November 2023 and as massive dog lovers, we are having the time of our lives looking after other people's pets. Look at our reviews to see how happy and content all your pets are with us. I have recently started house sitting in your home too. I have had dogs all our life and been surrounded by dogs in the family since childhood. I have a Labrador called Bella who is 7, she is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She is a real pampered pooch, regularly exercised and has lots of cuddles. Unfortunately we lost Ted our 8 year old Labrador to cancer in September 24, you will most likely read a lot about him in our reviews. We now have Nelly who is a 1 year old lab. Both are great with dogs, however they don’t always have to come to your house when I am dog sitting, sometimes they can stay at home. Monday to Friday Maria works from home so your pooch will have lots of company and cuddles. I work local to home for lunchtime walks. On evening and weekends I run or walk with Bella, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. We have a large enclosed garden for safety , Bella sleeps downstairs in the kitchen or living room, your dog can sleep up or downstairs.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10. I was the main person who walked and took care of the family dog for a few years. I'm used to dealing with reactive dogs and dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience with cats, including kittens. I'm very active and would love an opportunity to have company whilst exercising. I am on a break from my studies until September, so I am very flexible with timings. Ideally, weekdays are best but I can also do weekends. My home is not suitable yo look after pets, but I am very happy to adjust to yours. I am used to enforcing rules such as no pets upstairs or on furniture.

About: I am an animal lover at heart and have always had a cat in my life. I currently have the lovely Melvin, a grey tabby cat. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I have had experience of giving my family's elderly cats (17/18 years old) medicine and looked after small/medium dogs. We have used Cat in a Flat often and have found it really helpful especially for short trips away and last minute cat sitting needs. I look forward to finding out about your pets and what they need! My weeks can vary from week to week. Depending on what your pet needs, I can adapt to this. I will keep all dogs on leads to ensure their safety especially as I get to know them.
