About: I am an animal lover at heart and have always had a cat in my life. I currently have the lovely Melvin, a grey tabby cat. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I have had experience of giving my family's elderly cats (17/18 years old) medicine and looked after small/medium dogs. We have used Cat in a Flat often and have found it really helpful especially for short trips away and last minute cat sitting needs. I look forward to finding out about your pets and what they need! If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch! I'm currently working part-time and have a flexible work day so have plenty of time to drop by and spend some time with your pets. My weeks can vary from week to week. Depending on what your pet needs, I can adapt to this. I will keep all dogs on leads to ensure their safety especially as I get to know them.

About: I have been a fan of dogs my whole life, have owned dogs in the past, and currently share responsibilities of caring for a male boxer cross with a friend. For the last 10 years I have been a reliable port of call for family, close friends, friends of friends and neighbours when a short-term solution is needed. Since hearing about Rover.com recently, I decided to reinstate this account and start offering these services to a wider audience. I work full-time, but only a 5 minute walk from home and will never leave a dog unattended for longer than 4 hours as a rule. My work hours at the office are 8:30-17:00 Mon-Thurs with an hour long break at midday, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays. I usually use my weekends for hiking so can tailor walks to suit individual dogs and/or take specific exercise requests from owners. I have a high-fenced, secure garden with adequate space and shade and trustworthy, retired neighbours either side of my terrace. On pleasant days when I am required to be in-office, I will often leave Fred (my shared boxer-cross) outside with a big bowl of water so he can relax in the sun (or shade) at his leisure. With regards to overnight stays, it is a preference that dogs stay downstairs in either my kitchen or living room, but I can be flexible if certain dogs display any form of separation anxiety. Any dogs staying in my home must have been treated for fleas as standard so as not to jeopardise future pets from picking up hitch-hikers on their staycation.

About: I have always had cats growing up. I currently have my own called Milo who is a very loving clingy cat. I have done dog sitting for family members while they are on holiday. I have a lot of experience with both cats and dogs. This is my full time job so I am available anytime and anyday. I will respond to you within the hour and answer any questions you may have. I have a cat bed in my bedroom for my cat Milo and loads of cat toys that he loves! I have a cat flap on my front door so he can go in and out as he pleases.

I'm calm and relaxed with the right kind of dog. I'm new to the platform, not the responsibility. I'm looking for the daft, affectionate ones who think every person they meet is their new best friend, want endless cuddles and fuss, and will lick you to bits. A great fit if your dog is: Up to about 15kg Sociable, gentle and people-loving Playful, affectionate and happy to be fussed Comfortable with handling and being left for short periods Fine around cats Breeds that are typically a great match: Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos, Cavapoos, Bichons, Pugs and similar. Not a fit for: larger or strong dogs, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Huskies, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Pit Bull types, Jack Russells and Chihuahuas, or similar breeds and crosses. Also dogs with reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety or a bite history, and young puppies. Dog care is at your home only. Visits cover feeding, toilet breaks in the garden, play and plenty of cuddles. I don't offer walks. I work from home, so I'm genuinely available throughout the day. I follow your routines and instructions exactly, and I'm happy to send updates and photos. I drive, so if a vet visit is ever needed, I can take your dog to your regular vet. A free meet and greet is required before any dog booking, so you can see how your dog and I get on. There's no obligation on either side if it isn't the right match. As I work from home full-time as a freelancer, I have flexibility throughout the day to fit in visits at times that suit your pet's routine, whether that's a morning feed, a lunchtime check-in, a toilet break or an evening visit. I'm not tied to a 9-5, so timing can be adjusted around what your pet is used to. I generally prefer some advance notice, but I'm also happy to help at short notice if you've been let down by another sitter. When visiting your home, I treat it with the same care and respect as my own. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, medication and routine, keep your home secure while I'm there, and always lock up properly when I leave. I'm comfortable administering oral medication if needed. My own home is smoke-free and allergy-free, though I don't offer boarding, purely to protect my own cat's safety and routine. If your pet needs a vet visit while you're away, I'll always try to contact you first. If I can't reach you, I'll get vet advice and take them to your regular vet if necessary (I drive, so this isn't an issue). I'd just ask that payment for any vet costs is arranged with you in advance, since I'm not able to cover these upfront myself.

I am currently studying Psychology at Uni and use my love for dogs and care to help cover my studies. I am currently at University so I have a set schedule, but plenty of time during the week and weekend to look after and play with your dog! I live in a shared house at university all dog friendly if overnight stay is needed. And a park next to the house for dog walks.
